1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the altcoin bull run will begin in 2024? on: January 02, 2024, 11:02:55 AM
So while you can't pinpoint an exact date, watch what bitcoin and ethereum are doing.  And keep tabs on the latest altcoin launches or protocol upgrades.  If you see investor excitement building, it likely means an alt run is brewing.
Sometimes there are moments that they dont correlate with ethereum and bitcoin. But it is not that hard to see that when the altcoin moves that much.
Those signals from the top altcoins in the market are good indicators but sometimes that they do not show significance but the indicators are so it is how you read up the situation.
current mini bullrun also shown that some altcoins aren't really following the path of bitcoin and ethereum. some of them are just having their own moments so I assume its gonna be the same in the future if there's any altcoin season it will just be like current situation, though surely if the altcoin season truly arrives we will see massive bullrun thats even more significant than it is right now, but we can't really predict when the real altcoin season will arrive but from my experience its usually when bitcoin done hitting almost of its all time high, usually around that time most of altcoin also just gonna increase massively.
this could also means that we still have some time for us to invest in some altcoin before the real altcoin seasonn arrive then at that time it will be massive rally from here on, be sure not to get too greedy otherwise we will miss out many opportunities.
Like what it is right now. Bitcoin hits $45k and the other top altcoins did followed but most of them didn't. And for that reason, it is essential to look at those sides because you will never know if you are doing the right thing for the upcoming bull run. Just a few more months and we will definitely see another rally again or I might be wrong and we'd it go earlier.

1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which blockchain has the highest rated TPS? on: January 01, 2024, 10:45:22 PM
While many projects can boast this TPS attribute that they have. Once they become in demand and there are more investors and users using them, that will eventually change. Because of network traffic, they would just say that they are experiencing scaling issues and need some upgrade but then from the beginning they are boasting of their tps and cheaper fees.

Exactly while it makes a project more efficient and attractive to investors, a higher TPS does not necessarily mean that it is much better than those with lower TPS

TPS depend on the blockchain’s purpose itself some projects have high TPS because of the much lesser data they have to process which does not mean it is already superior to other cryptocurrencies
That is what we usually see with these projects, when there is not that much traffic on their network then obviously they will have quicker transactions. But when they become popular and get more transactions, they will slow down and that is what we have seen to those that have been showing their tps before.

1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin hidden gems. on: January 01, 2024, 01:33:58 PM
If you had to pick one lesser-known altcoin that you believe has tremendous potential, what would it be? Let's uncover hidden gems together!
I pick nothing with many of those because they are just going to give everyone to have the moment to shill these so called hidden gems wherein you are actual investors of it and want people to be of the same project as you do.
But I would check out what everyone is saying but no guarantee that I will be investing into these because I am not the type of investor that can spot early good coins.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Passive Income on: December 31, 2023, 11:56:18 PM
The crypto bull market is predicted to be coming and probably most tokens or coins will touch their new all-time high.
The best way to generate passive income in crypto is to buy different coins in small amounts and hold them for a long. There are high chances that you will generate passive income by just holding most of the coins.

That is still passive income when the value has grown over time but that is not the type of passive income many does want.
But in fairness of holding, you will never get wrong with it but you need to choose wisely on what you want to hold. Because if they are just bunch of memecoins, forget about it because they are not for long term holding.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: value coins on: December 31, 2023, 11:25:33 PM
Are you making your own token? That will be your volume if you are going to put 1 bnb on it but you have to wait for other trades to buy and sell it again to your own market. Or if it is the other understanding like you are asking about fees then 1 bnb sure is a lot and enough.  But I think it is the former right? That is the value that you have added with that 1bnb and with so much supply, it wont be that much as a start because it will depend on the market cap in real time.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT Crypto Games 2024 discussion on: December 31, 2023, 10:52:20 PM
I've seen those two but still not yet convinced if ever I'll get back my interest into NFT games. I've been in a heavy loss with these assets that I thought will bring significant profit on it and even just a break even, I'm not yet there. I think star atlas have been there even on the bear market and it survived, this xpet is just new right?
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin start rising up what coin is good for investing right now for short term on: December 31, 2023, 10:23:23 PM
Isn't it amazing to see how this thread has started? Op was talking about Bitcoin at $25k where it is $42k now. It may not be yet a 2x gain but if you are going to analyze it, that is already a lot of gain that we've got for Bitcoin. He is also right that the alts has come and followed it and we saw a bunch of them have gained like sol and its tokens that were made there like the meme ones such as Bonk.
The growth of SOL has been pretty significant, to be honest. A lot of people didn't invest, including myself, when it was around $28 because we didn't know Bitcoin was going to grow this much all of a sudden, and SOL managed to hit over $130 in no time, imagine if you had invested in it when it was at $28 and then you had sold after it reached $120+, you would get more than 4x return on your investment that too in a period of hardly one and a half months.
I did even saw it under $28 but never invest as well and that's why I just accepted it as a big miss for making money. And I think that it is going to be higher when we get on the actual bull run but that's it, I will still not invest on it because I have already missed a lot on it. The term it is not too late is not applicable for me on this project and any words of encouragement for me to invest on it won't work as well.

And, it's just the beginning, Bitcoin hasn't yet gone all the way up, we are yet to see it reach the previous all-time high and then set a new all-time high after the halving event is done next year, and in the next couple of years are going to be great for all cryptocurrency investors. We missed just a single wave, there are more to come.
Yeah, and this is the one that we're just waiting for. This is the best to wait for the upcoming bull run, halving, etf, and many more factors that will make its price higher.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Top 3 Altcoins of 2023? on: December 31, 2023, 09:55:02 PM
ETH
BNB
These are the two that has big share on my portfolio and looking for the other one, I have no idea because most of the other coins/tokens that I have got have same share on my stash.
So these are my favorite so far because I am actually holding them and I own them. But with being impressed that's not part of my portfolio, I'd say SOL is one.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICP pumping - is it time to take profit or too early? on: December 31, 2023, 09:17:18 PM
This coin was actually on a boost when it was launched and I think that if your target is like that, it is going to take time. So, easy suggestion for you. While you can see that you're in profit, take a little by little on it until you have nothing left anymore this bull run. Because not everything will be up on the bull run and if you miss hit, you'll never see it again because this is how the altcoins market work.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: December 31, 2023, 10:13:02 AM
I am also receiving in my campaign altcoin and I am waiting for the right time to sell it. There is not that much to do but to hold it for now. Who knows with what you are holding now could get some quick profits. Although I am not expecting for it but if it happens then thank you. So like what everyone is telling, we do nothing and hold it and see if something is going to come out of it.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Ithiopia bankrupted? on: December 31, 2023, 09:04:37 AM
While we all believe that cryptocurrencies are going to play significant help to the economy of a country but it doesn't mean that it's going to be the entire help that they need. And as for the buildings, it doesn't mean that a country that has tall buildings is already way up of its economy. Maybe not yet but that's a sign that there's something happening positively on the country but usually, these came from debts or loans from the bigger countries like China. I'm not just sure if it's Ethiopia that has been one of the African countries that have a debt on China.

Crypto may have influence in their economy, but yes, it doesn't mean it can get rid of the poverty among its people.
But this market can however, alleviate some of the current conditions of some of its people who are already into crypto.
Just like for example, small time traders. And once they get good profits, it can assist their everyday living.
This goal is years in the making. But if this market can already help some of its people, why not?
There is no doubt that crypto can change someone's lifetime. But if we entirely are considering the country's future then it is hard to think of. Because there are too many factors that make a country better. With their policies and political stances and alliances are the few factors. Crypto alone wont save an entire country but many individuals.
And these individuals can contribute to the growth but if the authority ain't no good, that is why I am saying only individuals and not the entire country.

1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie alert - how to get on the bandwagon? on: December 31, 2023, 03:16:44 AM
If it is all about the most basic thing that you must do, since you have a robinhood account. You can start there with a very small amount so that you can purchase and feel the market already. I do not use it so I have no idea if it allows you to withdraw crypto from there. There is no need for tool or such but you need a wallet of yours that you hold private keys and keep those recovery words and never share it to anyone. That is the next step when you are done with buying, to transfer it to your own wallet.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: another shitcoin another scam.... or? BURRRD on: December 30, 2023, 08:22:23 PM
Hey, I found a small funny thing yesterday this token on the Solana blockchain BURRRD so I checked up their website. https://www.burrrd.club/ at least they are honest about what it is or?  Grin

"Disclaimer BURRRD is a meme coin with no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return. There is no formal team or roadmap. The coin is completely useless and for entertainment purposes only.

I have no connection to the coin or the team behind it in anyway if that's needed to say.
You've already put a disclaimer and why you think someone has to invest in it. Yes, it's a meme coin and that's the reason why people shouldn't invest in it.
I guess you have the answer from your own post but if someone is too curious and are into meme coins, that's your decision and money there. Not everything that you see are profitable. And if the project turns into a scam, then there's no one that you should blamed if you have invested on it.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming altcoins on: December 30, 2023, 02:55:38 PM
Are there any new or upcoming altcoins that have caught your attention recently?
Well, not for me but I think that everyone is eyeing for all of those coins that will be released through Solana. Since it has been pumping, that's able to capitalize on the situation for the community. And the investors are thinking that anything that it will release will be pumping.
Coming from meme coins, to the usual ones and those that have utilities and use case. That's what probably is the pulse of the most investors now in the community.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: December 30, 2023, 01:29:59 PM
BNB is a very good altcoin to invest in. It's my second choice altcoin after ETH. Although the price is a bit high recently, but one can still buy and hold till the next bullrun for good profit. It will be good to buy using DCA so as to take advantage of any slight fall in price that may happen anytime.
Also me, that's my next choice after Ethereum. I'm still holding both of them and I was just lucky that I've both ETH early but not that much with BNB. I've seen people that have bought BNB at an early stage and they've managed to hold it until it has reached the value on hundreds.
That's so much profit for them and they're not going to miss it because they're still holding it and currently that they see that it's undervalued now and there's more to it.
