Finally the glorious Russian Ministry of Bullshit has destroyed the last Ukrainian airplane: MoD: Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Su-27 in the Platonovka area. [...] In total, 152 aircraft have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation [...]
Further in the same article, the number of destroyed and remaining Ukrainian military equipment is given: "The Russian military destroyed [...] 112 out of 152 aircraft, 75 helicopters out of 149, 148 air defense systems S-300 and Buk M1 out of 180 [...]"

Some idiot who has been trolling me for years recently left me some bullshit neutral feedback.
Actually your most recent neutral rating is a good example of a well-deserved neutral rating. You tend to shitpost in random threads about your victimhood but you're too chickenshit to raise those disputes properly. You got called out on it. The person didn't think it was a "high risk" (lying is typically not a sufficient reason for red trust) but something worth noting/rebuking. Factual rating with a correct archived reference. Good use of the trust system.

Why would Putin's psychos send a crane to the Theatre at Mariupol? Is there anything interesting to cover that they would need rebuilding in all urgency??
I think they're getting ready for the May 9 parade and don't want the rubble to ruin the TV show. Also the smell is probably not too pleasant so they need to move the bodies out to one of those mass graves in the suburbs. You know, the usual stuff that you do after you bombard the city for two months and leave it without power, water, food, medical facilities, etc. Replace the road signs, paint some curbs, erect a statue for a meme, and call it victory.

Nope. The fronts are not moving. Even for the Russian Army style of war, this is no progress. It is easy to validate.
I noticed that maps in some "vatnik" channels are getting zoomed in to ridiculous detail... they're literally counting individual streets being "captured" in villages in Donbas while completely ignoring the retreat around Kharkov. That said, there are some LDNR/Kadyrov troops moving up from Mariupol so there might be one more push soon around Donetsk or Hulyaipole before May 9.

EDIT: I still hope Putin won't call out general mobilization of forces, for your own sake. No Bitcoiner (noone, really) should be foced to serve to kill.
Does general mobilization basically just mean a draft? Yes, after looking up "draft" in a dictionary. Every russian man capable of serving the army will be drafted. I'm not a native speaker, btw. Draft (conscription) is usually an annual event to sign up 18-year-olds for training (6-12 months). Few countries still have mandatory draft, including Russia. Most countries don't have it (instead relying on voluntary/contract/professional forces), but e.g. in the US men are still required to register for it, and draft can be re-instated in the event of a war. Mobilization is assembling a military force for a specific purpose (e.g. a war) and it involves everyone of military age (18-60 or so), so it's much more than a draft. Mobilization is ongoing in Ukraine right now, but not in Russia, since it's "officially" not at war. (sorry for multiple edits, my browser is having one of those days)

The glorious Russian military again doing what it does best - i.e. lying. Family of one of the sailors who died on Moskva can't find out what happened to their son and the fleet command is covering up his death with blatant lies: - The flagship was not in Ukrainian territory.
- The flagship was not participating in the "special operation".
- Your son went missing in the "accident" and his location has not been determined.

If you watch a longer, 2-minute footage, you can see that after the strike at the end of the video, the boat didn't sink, but continued to swim. Is there any evidence that these boats sank afterwards? Straw man. Bayraktars can kill tanks, chances are the boat - even if it's still floating - is done for. The Russian side
Do you seriously believe that "the Russian side" would say "yeah we dropped a bomb on it" even if they did? AP is the closest we have to an independent investigation. Under this video, one user left a comment, that it was a Russian retaliatory strike on a Ukrainian howitzer. LOL, that makes it true obviously Just like every building in Mariupol was Azov HQ. EDITED to add: Another Russian Navy great victory: Admiral Grigorovich-class frigate of the Russian Navy Black Sea Fleet is reportedly on fire near Zmiiny island in Black Sea. Rescue operation ongoing, multiple aircraft, rescue vessels in the area Another spontaneous combustion. Such unfortunate event.

And how do you imagine such thing? All these countries sharing Ukraine into parts? It would be interesting to hear from your perspective what signs shows that it can happen. Because for me it looks like nothing more than poor Russian propaganda attempt to show that Ukraine is country without history and without future.
Putinist telegram channels are ablaze with the newest "proof" that Poland is planning to invade Ukraine - Andrzej Duda saying that there will be no border between the two countries. Poor clowns can't comprehend that most of Europe doesn't have borders... and those countries achieved this incomprehensible borderless arrangement without invading each other. Some lessons to be learned there, if Russian chauvinists were capable of learning.

Russia removing all tanks is the only acceptable "deescalation"
Yes. Also all other weapons and troops from Ukrainian territory. Thanks. And we're back to hypocrisy and double standards. Due to their proximity, US can have national security interests in Cuba, totally normal for NATO and Australia to have national interests in Solomon Islands etc... But why should Russia have national interests that spans to the country directly on it's border that speaks the same language and was part of the same country??
Many countries were parts of e.g. the British Empire. Things change. But if the US or Australia invades Solomon Islands you should definitely create a thread "US (or Australian) Invasion of Solomon Islands". I might even stop by to see how you derail it yourself with your deluded whataboutism and other fallacies.

Lavrov is a very experienced diplomat, he is unlikely to have made a mistake. I think the Kremlin quite deliberately sacrificed a false friendship with Israel for the sake of strengthening real friendship with the Arab world in the Middle East. Israel in the current situation can do little to help Russia, and little can interfere with it - it has enough of its own problems with Palestine.
Oopsie: Russian President Vladimir Putin apologized for the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

IHowever, think in some cases it should also be considered abuse of the trust system. I will give an exaggerated example: I write a neutral color feedback saying this: "this person has repeatedly demonstrated that he is not trustworthy, I wouldn't trust him with a penny". I believe that such a feedback, although neutral in color, should be considered as if it were red for the purpose of analyzing whether it is an abuse of the trust system.
Red trust implies "high risk". Perhaps the person who posted neutral feedback thought there is a risk, but it's not high, maybe "medium" or "slightly elevated". Neutral is neutral. Of course you can form your opinion about someone based on trust ratings (including neutrals) they leave for others. But for a neutral rating to be considered "abuse", I think it would need to be something exceptional, not merely "I don't trust this person". Perhaps if someone spams death threats via neutral ratings, that sort of thing, but usually such idiots just use red trust anyway.

Regarding the new poll and Chart Buddy.
Buddy ain't the smartest bot around to be honest..
Here is my suggestion how to improve Chart Buddy; Have it delete all but the most recent post. That way, when you enter the WO-thread, you would only be welcomed with one chart, showing the price within the last hour.
Or have him make the first post of each new page, if that'd be possible. So you can just scroll up to the top of each page to see latest price of that page (might be less than 1 CB/Hour but this thread is active enough to make up for it) Might not be possible to implement - some charts would have to fit many hours worth of data when there is low posting activity. Perhaps a workable option would be to edit an existing post and add new chart(s) to it, and make a new post only if there is no CB post on the current page.

People are made to think that deescalation in Ukraine is now literally in no ones best interest.
May be not in your or Putin's best interest, but if you had bothered to read what I said... remove the tanks -> deescalation. Tanks invaded Ukraine, Javelins did not invade Russia.
|
|
|
It's from a month back, even with only the "official" numbers that's like what, 10 anti-tank missiles for each Rusisan tank? Now we wait how Russia will reply to such escalations, Defence is now "escalation"? How about withdrawing those tanks, then Ukraine won't need as many Javelins. Edit: https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-business-europe-donetsk-0e361756c6acc287e8974103913abfc6Close to 600 people died in the Russian airstrike on the Mariupol drama theater on March 16, evidence from an Associated Press investigation suggests. That’s around twice the city government’s estimate of 300 in the deadliest single known attack against civilians in the Ukraine war.
Glorious Russian military at its best - killing civilians. Or attacking parks and playgrounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnTsmj--Ofs

Doing something quite complicated, and possibly even quite mischievously/forcefully given your last post, VS doing nothing and at the very most stopping something very complicated or mischievous/forceful from happening..
Pregnancy and giving birth is not "nothing". Both pregnancy and abortion have health implications. It's a health issue that should have never become a political issue, or a "father/family/community" issue. I'm thinking a forced abortion is much less likely, and much more likely to be disagreed with by any/all..
Neither forced abortion nor forced pregnancy should ever be an option worth discussing.
|
|
|
Far stretch..
But the father (or the "community" etc) having a say the other way round isn't a stretch?
|
|
|
What about the father? Does he agree that an abortion is acceptable? Fine..
Does he disagree? Face the consequences..
What if the father wants the abortion and the woman doesn't? Who's "facing the consequences" then in this medieval scenario?

Russia's foreign minister Sergei Horseface Lavrov stepped into deep poo-poo, twice: I could be wrong, but Hitler also had Jewish blood. Zelensky being Jewish means absolutely nothing. Wise Jewish people say that the most ardent anti-Semites are usually Jews. After a predictable outrage from Israel, he apologized... j/k, of course he doubled down because Putinists are never wrong: We noticed the anti-historical statements of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, which largely explain the course of the current Israeli government to support the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv. At this rate, they'll start a special denazification operation in Golan Heights soon. The irony of course is that Israel is (was?) one of the few "neutral friends" of Russia, i.e. not very keen on sanctions despite pressure from the US. I have a feeling this might change.
