We might see a fight between Inoue and Donaire in the future, but this time it won't be Naoya. Donaire needs to win his championship fight to become a champion again, and if he does, there's a chance for a unification fight. I'm confident that Donaire will not go down against Takuma Inoue since he doesn't have the same level of skills and power as his brother.
Yeah high likely and it's true Takuma is really different with Naoya, I think Naoya have trained Takuma to become a better boxer, but based on the record they're different. Takuma biggest fight was against Nordine Oubaali and it's an one sided match where Oubaali dominating Takuma.

Takuma haven't fight outside from Japan too, so he will be under pressure if he fight outside from Japan.
Yes, he is very different from his brother, but as of late, I've seen glimpse of his recent fight and there are some flashes of Naoya too. However, he is too cocky as compare to his brother and maybe this will be his downturn just saying.

As for the Marlon Tapales upset, he riding high on a 3 fight winning streak, including the eliminator as who is going to face Murodjon Akhmadaliev.

You can call it upset, but for me Tapales is somewhat on his prime right now, it might be very short for him but as least he has taken advantage of and his next fight could really define his career.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 12, 2023, 08:21:19 AM

I also don't want to give a finality of opinion on this fight as most of the time, it is the preparation that matters once inside the ring.
As both boxers are studying the weaknesses and strengths of each other, they will come up with a good plan or good training plan.
But we will only see if their plans and strategies will work once they are already fighting, because some plans can be scrape if it won't work on their opponent.
Over-all, this fight is gaining hype from boxing fans, so the likelihood of selling out gate tickets would be fast. But for most of us, we can just always wait for the live streaming.
Garcia is stil the underdog on this fight. So that would be a good motivation for him to train harder. The very reason why Davis should not take this fight for granted.

Being an underdog can be used as your motivation as you wanted to prove something, especially in the eyes of the fans. With how they throw trash talks together and you are facing the champ, inside him he really wanted to bring him down and be on top. Let see if how both of them will execute all the plan and preparation inside the ring.

Both can surprise the fans. Even Tank got the favor from the bookies, as he was the champ here, but Garcia can also bring something to upset him if the timing is right.

Garcia probably hasn't felt like an underdog before, as he has been mostly the favorite in his previous fights, if not all. So it's not a big deal to him. He will prove that he deserves bigger respect, and the only way to do that is to beat Tank Davis. Everyone is anticipating this big fight as it is the biggest fight that will happen this year so far.
I guess every fighter will have to go this experienced, become a underdog, but then win the fight. So everyone is on the hands of Ryan Garcia now, even if he is the underdog and for sure he knows this, but he has been clamoring for this fight even before the pandemic and he calls out Tank because he wanted to get the respect by beating him.

So regardless of him being the underdog, doesn't matter for him. In his might this is a winnable fight. By the way he goes to the media and saying that he will knockout Tank Davis.

He always loves to talk, but that's another thing to prove. Even a newcomer can say that they KO any champ, something that we usually hear when there's an upcoming fight. There are many trash talks that will be published to bring the attention of the fans. Two things can happen. Either he will prove those words or it will backfire on him and he will be the one that will going to be KO.

Knowing Davis, he loves playing and he will take the ring as his playground. Anything is possible to happen. Let see how both fighters will showcase their skills and capabilities.
Yes, but Ryan has proven himself that he can back up his trash talking. So we will see, the fight is nearing, he is posting a lot on social media and this two have a lot of interviews as well going on public.

@bbc.reporter - yeah old trick and Alex still fall for it, although he thought that he got Izzy already, boom, two quick punch and it was over.

Not sure who will do that strategy, both loves to fight in the middle. But if there is one, then it should be Ryan staying in the corner and try to time Davis.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 12, 2023, 08:00:12 AM
Well, we almost got 2 surprise home losses, almost.

Too bad Timberwolfes couldn't pull it off even though they were leading by as many as 15 in the middle of the 3rd and 10 at the beginning of the 4th. Really bad game from Edwards. Sad

Atlanta winning in Miami was rather surprising. Miami dug a deep hole in the first half where they couldn't get out of. Lucky for Miami they have another shot vs the Raptors or the Bull. If they face the Raptors this might be the exit for them, against the Bulls I think they will advance.

Excited for tomorrow to see the other 2 games. Anything can happen!
Yeah, it was an upset by the Hawks, but they really played solid games in the road. They build a huge lead, and when the Heat tries to make a comeback, in the 3rd and in the 4th, cutting the lead to 6-7, they will have their own run and push the lead to 10-11 points and then the Heat gets tired. No spectacular games from Jimmy Butler, it was all Hero and Lowry. Most likely we will see huge changes in the Miami Heat next season, maybe it's time for them to trade their pieces like Bam Adebayo as a bait.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hype ends ? on: April 11, 2023, 09:43:38 PM

In the past few weeks, most cryptocurrencies have been doing great: Bitcoin price increasing from below $20,000 to above $28,000, ETH following to increase to the level of above $18,000, same as some other big name altcoins. Even the new listed ARB has enjoyed an ATH around $1.3(if I am not wrong), and Dogecoin price was suddenly reaching an ATH at almost $0.1 after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo as Dogecoin. However, the market correction happened after the little hype endured a short period. What can we conclude from all these market fluctuation ? Until the next bull market comes, is this hype considered over now ? Please let me know your thoughts. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please feel free to contact me should you have any inquiry.
You spoke too soon though, bitcoin is now over $30k if you haven't check the price in the last 24 hours.  And all major altcoins have also increased because of the trickle effect of bitcoin.

So the moral lesson here is that the market is very volatile, when you thought that there is no hype as we have been trading sideways for the past 10 days, comes this huge uptick in the price due the news of the CPI report coming in the next couple of days the the feds are going to cut the rate or it could be the same as last month, which means the the economy is improving.

1366  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking the biggest limit since match price push on: April 11, 2023, 07:44:03 PM
Since the beginning of the year 2023, bitcoin has been on a steady but slow uptrend movement with a lot of resistance along the way and in the month of February struggle all through to attain and sustain a $23,000+ price but in mid-match to the ending of the same month Bitcoin finally, break that barrier to reach around $27,000-$28,000 with wide wind of resistance that keeps BTC price at that level for a long while.

Put seeing that bitcoin has pushed ahead of that resistance during the esther holiday to reach as high as $29,300+ which is a significant uptrend that will leave many to speculate what price bitcoin is going to reach in its current price trend, your speculation of the current market condition are all welcomed.
It has been around 10 to 11 days since Bitcoin has been just stable between the $27k to $28k range and hasn't either gone down or gone up, it has finally broken above the resistance around $29,300 and going up, as a lot of speculators have been predicting that the price will reach around $35k within the month of April, it finally seems it might be true.

What I think is that it wouldn't be a very big pump at this point, if we see a lot of buying pressure in the markets following this uptrend, we might see that pushing the price to maybe at most $32k before it will start dropping again.
Yes, at least 10 days of not moving, and trading sideways around the $28k price range. Now, this is the one that we are waiting for, breaking that whole numbers of $30k, and it seems it's going to continue. See the price at $30,500 the highest so far and everyone is very bullish once again.

Uptrend, we are looking at $32k'ish before we finally got tired and bulls exhausted. But let's see, we know that when the market is very bullish because of positive news, it's hard to stop it. And the good thing is that we have two weeks more this month, still plenty of days to go to the next barrier.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 11, 2023, 07:22:51 PM

They also acquired Gobert to help their team on the defensive side, and they were ready to play the twin towers but then this thing happened. Gobert did not understand how important his role was to the team, and he messed up their opportunity to make the playoffs. So with what happened, I doubt the team would still keep him.
Would be nice if Wolves win their games without Gobert and then start losing them, once he is back. That would mess him and the team up so much. It would be hilarious.

Nah, I’m looking forward to watching them get smashed tonight. I think the Lakers are going to be firing on all cylinders and they just picked up a point guard for the purpose of shutting down Ja Morant so they must feel pretty confident about tonight. I’ll definitely be watching.

The playoffs (ins) are here! Happy days ahead.
It's gonna be a fun series, with Ja vs Lebron and the whole team involved in trash talking. And without Gobert that can give the Wolves like 10+ rebounds, they Lakers will be happy about that. But the Wolves are still a very dangerous team so they shouldn't underestimate them, Edwards for sure will want this game, so I expect him to go like 30 points and try to make it as very close game.

They are the underdog 4:1 and -6.5 handicap. And there are reports that KAT is going to play as well.

How do you think the game 2048 is suitable for gambling in casinos? Before I started playing in casinos, in my free time I played 2048, I somehow think that in casinos this game will be a success, the game should be with a cashout.  What do you think about it? Huh

Oh ok, so this is a skill base game, so I doubt that this will be in casino floors for long time. It's business for this casinos, and if they can't make money and if they don't have the edge then they will not let this kind of games.

As others have said, it's very easy for individuals who are brainy enough. We have seen alot of attempts to cheat casino and they are not successful. So do you think that they will simply allow this game and have individuals win every time? Not gonna happen in the long run.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 11, 2023, 05:58:28 PM
I think every gambler has experienced this at one point, of course we always want to be in control of our emotions, but during long runs of playing, sooner or later you are going to tilt. The best way to deal with it is just to stop, and take a break easy as that.

Not just in games like poker, but even if you do sports betting, you are also going to experienced it. You become reckless, out of control and out of the norm you bet on teams or look for great odds. But at the back of your mind, you know that is is the worst teams to bet. So again, if you have this sign, it's not good to continue gambling as you are obviously going to lose.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 08, 2023, 12:36:35 AM
The Suns are expected to rest Booker, Durant, Paul, & Ayton tonight against the Lakers. This is a game the Lakers desperately need to win and with the Suns resting all their guys, they should be able to get it done. A shame because this would have been one hell of a matchup. I guess I don’t have to be sad anymore that I won’t be able to watch the game.

Still, maybe an opportunity to bet on the Lakers with some decent odds.
The Bucks is already resting Giannis and the rest of the starters against the Memphis.

While Memphis is going full force in this game with Ja Morant still in the floor in the first quarter. So far it's close, but I wouldn't be surprised if Memphis will take this game in the 4th quarter.

So time for this bench warmers to see action, gonna be good for them as they could be needed in playoffs.

Odds is 9.5/-9.5 in this game.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 08, 2023, 12:23:37 AM
Yes, it's a huge chance for Donaire to be a champion again or even unify all the belts. I think that's what he is doing now and taking advantage while there are no boxers that can be a threat in the division that can probably face him. Well, if time permits, Nonito will and can surely unify all the belts at 118. For now, let's see him fight because his last fights weren't that flashy anymore.

Not unless Nonito Donaire will lose this fight against Santiago, I will still stick to my personal belief that Donaire can stll dominate the bantamweight division despite his age now that Inoue is now out of the said division. Seeing the current rankings at the 122 across all boxing organizations, it's only Jason Moloney for can give a tough fight to Donaire.
I agree, Donaire even at his age, is going to be one of the biggest punchers in this division and most likely hard to beat byt those rank players. Only Moloney will have a chance by he doesn't want to fight Donaire yet, as you have said he might be waiting for Donaire to age more.

But seems Moloney still recognize Donaire's power and try to delay the time they will face soon by backing on the fight. It will result for them to meet each other at the possible unification fight if they will be both become champion but at that time will happened, Donaire is aging more.
We might see this fight down the road, there has been a huge shakeup in Probellum, the once Bob Arum is accusing that is being run by Irish Mafia and that's why he refused to work with them with Richard Schaeffer and Donaire was still under that promotional company.

Now that Richard is out of Probellum, he brings himself Donaire and Stanionis. So maybe if both will win their fight, we might see the unification fight in the future.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: April 07, 2023, 11:47:02 PM
^ It seems that Stevenson didn't go anything hard to make the cut in this division as he was below the limit. And as everyone is expecting how this fight will be, it could be one sided beating for the the Japanese.

He seems to be smiling though, not sure how to read this, could be he is confident that he can shock the world with a win here, or doesn't know the magnitude of this fight and will just go on with the motions against Shakur.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Champions prediction. on: April 07, 2023, 08:10:53 AM
I have the GSW and voted for them. Yes, they are not that complete this season, but they still managed to survived and land on 6th place right now. I thought that they are going to be eliminated, but then when Steph comes back from injuries, he bring the team to above .500 and now are able to maintain it.

They still have Wiggins to comeback, and the last time we heard, he will not be back in the regular season, but it doesn't mean he won't be playing in the playoff. And with GPII back in the lineup, it will be very difficult to whoever teams are going to face them in the playoff, and in a series. Sacramento is a good team no doubt, but if by chance they are match against the Warriors in the playoff, it will be very difficult for them.
1374  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much return are we expecting next bull run? on: April 07, 2023, 07:57:43 AM
I think a bull run can happen at any time, it doesn't matter that the current price looks lower than before, but as long as the whales are raging it will make it easy for the price to skyrocket, as happened before, in 2017 the price started the year under $ 1000 but the end of the year once touched $ 19k.

It's a cycle though, bulls and bear market, so in any case there will be a bull run, a final catalyst will be the block halving which is still still a year from now. We can look at bitcoin's previous history, like you have said, in 2017, it was under $1k and then goes off to $19k, that is a huge growth. But you can really compare it's massive growth every bull cycle though, because it's going to be very difficult to hit that multiplier. The growth will somewhat slow down. That's why the prediction might be a conservative 2x so maybe $120k in the next bull run, not that bad assuming we all have save a lot of bitcoin in this period or bear market.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: April 07, 2023, 04:22:19 AM
Meanwhile, Josh Taylor's rival Jack Catterall just signed with Matchroom Boxing. He is looking forward to shaking the dust off being also inactive for a year after delayed negotiations and cancellations to the supposed rematch with Josh Taylor. He also believed Teofimo Lopez will win over Josh. Although his prediction might be biased, he might be annoyed with Josh knowing most of the public thought he won the belts and then comes his inactivity after hoping for the rematch to happen.
Good, I think at this point, whether US or London based fighters, Matchroom has done so much with it's fighter and we have to commend Eddie Hearn. Not sure if I heard it that he will be fighting Prograis next and the schedule is May 27? or his opponent is not name yet?

Josh Taylor on the other hand seemed to be too confident despite his inactivity and poor performance in his last fight against Catterall. I can feel that he is belittling Teofimo Lopez's ability to win as he is predicting the big possibility of him taking out Teofimo in the early rounds.
Most likely his confident is based on the fact that he has face tougher opponents in the 140 lbs, like Ramirez, Prograis and even Catterall himself. And Teo has no business in 140 lbs. And base on Teo's fight, I don't think he has carry his power to this new division, just saying.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 07, 2023, 03:12:02 AM
Yes, I'm with the majority here, yes there are a lot of trusted casino's, those platform that we have played for years already and has a lot of competitions and even whales who join.

But there's no way for us to verify has transparent they are as far as giving those bonuses or rewards to it's players. Only they have the numbers and no one can verify if they really gave that huge amount of money to the winners or not. And with that, the only thing we can do is to accept what they said base on face value alone.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 07, 2023, 02:31:50 AM
I just caught the tail end of the game between the Spurs vs Portland. San Antonio has a huge 13-0 round late in the game and take the lead from the Trailblazers. And they just hold on that lead, 4 players with 20 plus or more for the Spurs and then Tre Jones, continuing his good stats, with 18 points and 10 assists.

Heat winning against the Sixers, but then again, as I check the minutes of Joel Embiid, he just played 30 minutes and Harden 28 minutes, so maybe they just decided to just let this game be taken away from them by the Miami Heat and not risk of injuries from both of their star players.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 06, 2023, 05:45:01 AM
True, we don't want to preempt things again, and I wouldn't be excited yet, until we really make the official announcement about this fight as we have seen what happen on the first fight, or supposedly negotiations that fell because Crawford is saying that it's all the fault of Al Haymon.

On the other hand, we haven't heard any updates on the Thurman vs Spence fight, and maybe this is one reason though.

They want to make it quiet and not to leaked anything on the media just yet. So crossing my fingers here that they are going to make this fight because we have been waiting for this.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 06, 2023, 05:00:15 AM
Yeah right, better to wait for whatever it's awaits him after winning the fight, let Maloney push his way to challenge or ask for the fight as long as Donaire will get decent earnings then so be it.

Taking care of his finances while there's still plenty of time for him is the best decision for the Donaire,
win the fight and take a good amount of offer next.
Yeah but most of us will be a lot happier if he will going to win this fight. We all know donaire from his wins to his losses, though sometimes I am thinking that maybe he should rest, but then if he still can fight other boxers and his team is still able to improve his stats before then no problem at all. I just say that he is already a winner to us, a champion whether he wins or he lose Donaire is Donaire.

Just the same with all those legends who continue to bring pride even they are no longer on their primes but still manage to win a fight and become a champ it's really a good way of showing love to the sports.

On Donaire's end, it's another edge if he will take the belt I mean if he become a champion again then
expect to have another money fight before he will retire his gloves right?

I don't think Donaire will retire as long as he can still make money. As long as he remains a champion, he will see it as an opportunity to earn more before retiring. Most boxers retire when they can no longer win and sell their fights, but Donaire's journey may be different since he is still considered a dominant fighter despite his age.
I might have to agree but there is a thin line between making money and risking your health. Floyd for example has this philosophy of "health comes first, and truly blessed to be one of the legend in boxing who didn't get hurt in his career because of his good defense.

On the other hand, Donaire has his fair share of losses and just like in his last fight with Inoue, he was knockout cold.

So him and his wife should make the right decision as to continue or not as it might take a toll on him later in life, just saying. No amount of money can pay if your body and mind will be affected by boxing when Donaire age.

Recently, I fell in love with Wanted Dead or A Wild by Hacksaw gaming. I mean it's very volatile but it seems that I'm lucky hitting bonus with good wins, 2x in a row already. So I might as well go with this game and continue my winning streak.

My former favorite is Anubis by the same gaming provider. And for sure many of us here loves what Hacksaw is developing and giving us the user experience. Of course, there are a lot of gaming providers with different themes and I might as well try them also. But for now, or at least if I'm going to continue winning, then I will stick to Wanted Dead or A Wild.
