1424  Economy / Services / Hiring a Back-End Developer [Python/Django] [Good Payment for the right skills!] on: December 29, 2017, 09:15:57 AM
Hello. As the title says,I'm looking for an experienced Back-End Developer for a new project I'm working on.The project is a basically a sportsbetting/dice website which is based on blockchain.Familiarity with blockchain and bitcoin is a must.

An ideal candidate should have the following skills,

1.Sound knowledge of Python/Django and working with services.
2.Knows how to work with the blockchain API's.
3.Proficient in MySql/MongoDb (we will go with the one you're most comfortable with)
3.Should be able to write scalable code with optimisation.
4.Believes in Agile process and fast deliveries.
5.Basic devOps on AWS

I will be the front-end developer of the project and will be using ReactJs/Redux/Node/Express on the front-end stack.

Payment will be discussed privately but minimum the founder is offering is : $10,000+
Payment will be escrowed by one of the trusted members on bitcointalk.

If you think you can achieve this, send me a PM.Remember, this isn't the regular freelance job where you just hastily write code and make things work.I will review every part of your code before deployments are done. Also if you are still in a learning phase with basic knowledge of Django/Blockchain,you're most welcomed if you think you have the capabilities to learn quickly and implement stuff.
1425  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Telcoin: A scam project endorsed by Japanese Scammer Yacine Farouk[ James Lent ] on: December 28, 2017, 06:17:22 AM
WTF?
Over exaggeration much ? Don't push it.

You know how easy that screenshot can be faked? Get a second number and just that. OP is already an exposed scammer and after being exposed, he's trying to make other people look bad.
"Make other people look bad" ? James Lent is a proven scammer so I wouldn't be surprised if someone claims he has been upto some shady shit. Why are you defending him ?

Of course, James Lent is a filthy scammer but is there any concrete proof that the pictures of whoever is James? No.
And that statement only applies if the person associated is actual James and not some random turd from Japan.

Poor guy might have nothing to do with this and suddenly zazarb files a case against him.
Zazarb isn't an idiot and he will definitely do his homework before filing a case.
1426  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Holiday Bonanza Charity Raffle] Donations & Awesome crypto. 75/256 Spots Left! on: December 28, 2017, 06:07:26 AM
*Ripple Deposits

I'll suspend Ripple deposits for now as I have to lock up funds in several places to make this work.. I accept all other currencies listed in the OP though Smiley.
Damn, that's what I wanted to donate since regular bitcoin transactions would take up a lot of fees.Don't remove my entries just yet ,I will send in equal amount of eth or something.
1427  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Telcoin: A scam project endorsed by Japanese Scammer Yacine Farouk[ James Lent ] on: December 26, 2017, 11:44:47 PM
James Lent is a filthy  scammer indeed who has scammed more than 15+ Bitcoins on the forum.I will be happy if the dox you mentioned is true and we can hopefully pass on the same to Zazarb (who happens to lose 10+ bitcoins to james) hoping he can take a legal action if at all.

I sort of agree with the Japan thingy as it's written on his bitcointalk profile he is from Japan.
1428  Other / Meta / Re: List of Accounts which Needs a Ban [ICO pumping accounts] on: December 26, 2017, 11:31:56 PM
Banned (some temporarily, some permanently).
Thank you sir ! Smiley) It would be great if you keep looking here more often as that would motivate me to report more shitposters!

Okay i am going to piggy back ride on this, this is not ICO ban, but i feel there is no need to open new topic, there are a lot of spammers for local boards, something like this this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1211941

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1211941

(Not sure how to write Name(make it hyperlink). But as you can see they just use google translate and spam every local board
Definitely they look like copy-paste posters.
1429  Other / Meta / Re: List of Accounts which Needs a Ban [ICO pumping accounts] on: December 26, 2017, 04:10:06 PM
A few of these accounts ring a bell, and I believed I've reported a few of them multiple times. Even suggested they were bumping threads intentionally in the report. This was like a week ago, maybe two now though, seems they've continued to do so. I know that the reported posts did get deleted, but the moderator must have not agreed that a ban was justified at the time.
The time is now I guess, you can just skim through the post history of those accounts mostly one-liners and inclined towards the ICO's they're suppose to pump.I don't even know why putting a ban on pumping accounts isn't taken seriously yet.

I think it's unfair to the others to single out someone, because I know for a fact Mprep and Ninja (cyrus) does a lot of the deleting when I've reported a few posts. Hilariousandco does a lot of work to as we all know, but gets most of the praise due to him being the most outspoken of the moderators.
I'm not putting it that way,I'm sorry if it seems  it was portrayed that way but no I didn't mean to "un-credit" other moderators.I'm very well aware of Cyrus and mprep's contributions as well. It's just that hilariousandco is easy to approach when you need an immediate action (and that's my personal experience so I could be wrong)

1434  Other / Meta / Re: List of Accounts which Needs a Ban [ICO pumping accounts] on: December 25, 2017, 06:41:40 PM
Some of them are blatantly copy-pasting the same sentence in various threads and some of them like this guy here have been doing it for a month with no ban. I wonder why nobody has reported this before you.

Because nobody cares to report them except a handful of people who strive to keep the forum spam free.On the admin side, hilariousandco is the only one I think who is actively responsible for banning accounts. It should be too much for him to ban those accounts case by case basis.Hence I created a thread where I can filter the shit-posters to make it easy for mods to ban them.
1435  Other / Meta / Re: Notice to Theymos on: December 25, 2017, 06:23:36 PM
OP is just trolling, Nobody including himself cares for his account, he just come here and trolls around saying xyz features should be implemented here.

How can requesting a feature to be added in the forum, be trolling.
In fact you are the one who is shitposting.
- Requesting a feature just because you were stupid enough to get your account hacked thrice doesn't really count.I mean what if theymos activates 2fa and still your account gets hacked ? You will again ask for another feature isn't it ? Look closely, the problem doesn't seem to be the lack of the feature but just general internet safety. You could work on that.

- Inner Me : - This got to be a special type of hacker who keeps hacking your account and ask a ransom. **Giggles
1436  Other / Meta / List of Accounts which Needs a Ban [ICO pumping accounts] on: December 25, 2017, 06:14:13 PM
Thought I could keep a thread dedicated for reporting accounts which could be banned for shit-posting.I often come across such accounts and usually ignore them or keep procrastinating the 'report to mod' click.By keeping it in one thread it would be easier for me to keep a track and also make it easier for the mods to ban them.I believe these accounts are created to pump ICO threads and or spam threads in any way possible. Most of them are one line posters pumping threads ,definitely don't need them on the forum.

Still no answer for:
Why did you delete my post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255435.msg2721252#msg2721252 today?
Scared  that i will recover my account?

But that does not  matter a I meet all requirements to recover my account. I just have to wait for a reply from one of the admins.

it's very simple, I immediately understood your intentions and tried to take some action, I've already heard about stories about frauds when you buy an account and it can be tried in a dishonest way through the tied address of bitcoin to pick up, but unfortunately did not give it a value before.
but now I understand that I ran into a typical swindler
So didn't you take any precautions before the account ? Did they provide you signed messages before buying an account ? Who contacted first on bitcointalk about the account sale ? I'm pretty sure you would have messaged them on bitcointalk first,if so which was the profile involved ? And stop ignoring my questions, the account is useless now anyway.
1438  Other / Meta / Re: my bitcointalk forum account is hacked on: December 25, 2017, 01:40:16 PM
If he is a honest person he would not have deleted my post with my btc address after i openend this topic.

But that does not matter as i provided a signed message to recover the account. Just have to wait for admin to process it.
The fuck makes you think admins will even consider processing it when it's clearly seems like a dispute ?

You ignored my previous questions and here's another one  : How come you had archived only one specific page which had your staked address ? Did the future him tell you that he's going to delete that specific post and you must archive it  ?   Roll Eyes

1440  Other / Meta / Re: Possible Solution For ICO Inbox Spam on: December 24, 2017, 06:31:45 PM
Yeah, we're getting spammed by these bots by the hundreds. Most ICOs are run by pure get rich quick scumbags who will do anything to promote their scamcoin in whatever scummy way they can and utilising these spam campaigns is just another way they do this. I tag them if I ever get spam emails from them because I know they've purchased a hacked forum database from somewhere, but if there's good evidence that they're utilising these spam services they should face punishment, but mprep made a point that somebody could fake the purchase to try get their thread removed etc though I'm not sure how many people would buy these services just to get their threads trashed because they aren't exactly cheap. I still think we should charge a fee for ICOs to even list here and they should definitely face punishments if they run a spam campaign because it's these ICOs that are causing 99% of the spam and headaches right now.
I shit you not the ICO owners I talk to,get crazy messages like 'We will promote your ICO to x number of forum members with y number conversion rates'.The thread pumping service is another business which is carried out on a larger scale now.I see a thread with 2 pages for a week and suddenly pumped to 8 pages in another, quite obvious they have pumped it.I agree with you,ICO's should be put on restrictions. They have huge amounts for spamming services anyway so they wouldn't mind paying something to get listed here.
