...Now ARB is at $ 1.3 with a decrease of 88% then are you going to hold or sell it?
I think the potential to go up is still possible because they already have quite a large daily volume.

Of course, everyone dreamed of selling their coins for $10, but the realities turned out to be different. I sold all ARB coins at a price of $1.43 and I believe that this price is fair today. Anyway, I am satisfied with the profit I received and now I will patiently wait until the price goes down several times to buy even more ARB.

Congrats and enjoy the gains but did you sell all?  I think it's still too early to be selling as I feel like it's kinda undervalued for what it really is.  ARB is not vaporware.  It's a working L2 that's fourth in TVL rn.  And check some of the coins up there at the top 10 - 15.  We got SHIB, DOGE, LTC and ADA..?  ARB is better than those imho....  By a mile.

I could see ARB start getting up there at the top 10 in CMC sometime around summer of 2024.

Man i repeat he work for Rangers for nearly 4 years and coach them for 200 games, but for you he left Rangers so quickly?. I dont undestand your point of view in terms of duration, Rangers cant give to him anything else.

And also he made all the correct steps, he prepare himself 4 years in Rangers, and after that he went to a mid class team not to a bigger one. Maybe he is not so good as a manager but he prepare himself very well and patiently.

Relax bud..  Lol.  You're right.  And I think he had three years with the Rangers.  Please check.  But I just think he went to the EPL a tad too early.  And it showed as he was given the sack after just a year or so with Aston Villa.  It would've helped him gain more experience if he went to Italy then Germany then the EPL.  IMHO.  But what do I know...

Managing a championship club is the same as managing a top tie club in Scotland; Kompany is doing a good job, with no hype and a complete tactical job. Steven Gerrard left Rangers so quickly; it's common among English coaches; a few good games and the English media will start linking them to top tie jobs, putting pressure on an English team to hire them. Gerrard should have stayed in Scotland because he was not ready to move to a top-tier club at the time. He was having a fantastic season there with no pressure, just go out and win games.

Managing a player and motivating players are two aspects of management that Gerrard lacks.

I see what you’re saying but what managerial qualifications did Guardiola have to get the Barcelona job? He went on to create and manage one of the greatest teams of all time.

I guess when a big job comes calling, old players with little experience will just take it. I guess they think the opportunity may not come again.

Gerrard was really poor at Villa, he deserved to lose his job. I don’t blame him for taking it initially though.

Guardiola was a mix of skill, luck and the cash to back him up.  And Barca at the time had Txiki who backed Guardiola in whatever he wanted for the club.

For me, for this event, I am really looking forward to Marlon Vera becoming the champion, but surely he will be having a hard time against the front door towards the belt and that is Merab "The Machine" Dvalishvili that insane 48 takedowns on Petr Yan was really insane and he has put a lot of cardio to execute it, for sure Merab will not fight Aljamain Sterling because of their friendship, but for sure Marlon "Chito" Vera will win against Cory Sandhagen,

Yup, 135 is getting pretty interesting now.  And Dvalishvili doesn't have to be in any pressure just yet as his team mate Aljamain Sterling is gonna fight Henry Cejudo next.  And with how good Cejudo's team is, he could win the belt from Sterling even after the long pay off.  I guess that sets up Dvalishvili to get a title shot next.

Anyway I don't think I'll be making greasy parlays and lottery tickets this weekend.  I'll just keep it simple and have a couple of bets.  Kape - Landwher parlay and a shot at the underdog spot Chito Vera.
Dvalishvili can be very relaxed and when the time is right he will easily take that belt. I'm guessing that Sterling loses the belt to someone else and takes it from him. If you don't have a belt, I don't know how to get it. however, he deserves the title. I really felt that in his last match with Yan, no one would stop him at this weight. He really attacks like a pitbull and has no intention of letting go of his opponents. Bantamweight has become my favorite weight. An interesting card, I will look at the other matches as well.

Sterling's next fight is vs Henry Cejudo.  And if Cejudo wins I think it would make a lot of sense to give Dvalfewfa.. Let's call him Merab.  Lol.  So yeah, it would make a lot of sense to give the title shot to Merab next.  But easily take the belt from Cejudo..?  Don't think so bud.  Cejudo is one tough customer.  But we'll see how he looks after the long lay off.

Here are a couple of tapes to watch to get you guys hyped for the main event this weekend.  I think you guys also need to watch the replay for Vera vs Font as that match could be more of the same as this match vs Sandhagen.

UFC Free Fight:  Sandhagen vs Yadong
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h473ZEu24k

UFC Free Fight:  Vera vs Cruz
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhtSxy9jmHQ
Cejudo is an agile athlete with outstanding wrestling skills, yes I had forgotten that was a good reminder lol.I remember the Cory Sandhagen vs Song match, I watched that match live. He was hitting his head like a sledgehammer with his elbows. Cory Sandhagen fights very effectively as Muah Thai, I like that side of him. I'm more interested in standing fights in this weight, it's really sharp. I think it will be a close fight, but with the referee's decision, the match will go to Cory.

Yup and depending on the outcome of his match vs Aljamain Sterling, word on the street is he wants to move up to 145 and go for the belt there vs Volk.  Cejudo prolly saw something in Volk's game and thinks he found a chink in the armor of some sort.  Dunno...  I mean why would he do it if he thinks Volk doesn't have a weakness.

Anyway, official weigh ins start in 30 minutes folks.  Have fun.

1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb token incoming on: March 23, 2023, 12:41:55 PM
Arbitrum just announced that their raindrop is finally coming on the 23rd of march, it's so unfortunate that after spending over a year and half to make transactions on the Arbitrum chain I ended up with zero tokens for a claim, I ready that the total max supply is 10 Billion, way more higher than Optimism total supply, what do you think will be the highest price target for ARB token and what do you think is the good buying point for the token.
Under $1 will always be considered when listings start, because this is a very large project in this space. I don't think they're going to start off with a low valuation right from the start, just like many speculated here, I have confidence that ARB will make it into the top 10 CMC, and especially given the market situation that is starting up. colorful and informative for the time to come, so all you need to do is keep your money tight.
I think it's foolishness for anyone that earned this token for free to sell when trading starts tomorrow, you will regret your decision in few months later, probably after Bitcoin halving in 2024, this is one of the projects that's worth holding your dear life on, the chances of creating new millionaires is very high.

Yup, totally...  Especially if selling at the price around where it is rn.  Too low for what the project is and where it's going and where it will really be a couple of years from now.  This isn't just any other ETH roll up.  It is the roll up.  I'd def be buying anything under 1 USD as I could see this go up to 10 USD at some point between 2024 - 2025.  It could even be more that 10 imho.

For those guys who's going to get the airdrop, if you're selling don't sell it all.  Be smart about it.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: March 23, 2023, 12:33:05 PM
Anyway as for 10 USD per ARB, that's like around 10 billion market cap.  Does anybody really think it would be that right off the bat?  Kinda sketchy imho.
Yeah, the Hotbit IOU represents nothing and shouldn’t be taken seriously. People are saying the current OTC price is around $1. BitMEX also launched a new futures contract for ARB, which currently trades at $1.27. To be frank, I would consider the BitMEX contract to be more reliable and significant than the Hotbit IOU.

To an extent, yeah.  Bitmex is where it's at as historically it has always set the trend mostly.  Bitmex and Bitfinex...  But then again, volume isn't really that high.  Just a tad over 600k USD the last time I checked.  And with ARB listed in almost all of the top exchanges, we could see it get bought up to 2 bucks and get over that easily imho.

At least that's what I think.  BTC and crypto overall seems fine overall after a bad US session in the stock market.  Different story if everything went uber red.

Edit:  Just an hour to go before the airdrop.  GL to those eligible!
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 23, 2023, 12:20:44 PM
I dont think Gerrard left too early Scotland, he had nearby to 200 games, and that league cant give more to learn to him, its more like a train league plus one hard game from time to time against Celtic, and a few good in Europe.

About Kompany, starts really good but lets see with bigger teams, its not easy to work with high egos of the stars.

I guess..  But still think he went to the EPL too early.  So did guys like Lampard.  Lol.  I thought Arteta was gonna follow but it seems like he learned a thing or two about club management from Guardiola.  I guess he'll be earmarked to be next Man City manager..?  Depending on what comes out of the whole cheating thing that is.  I'd rather see him stay and win stuff with the Gunners tbh.

As for Kompany...  True true.  I'd be following his progress nevertheless.

Yeah, I don't recall there ever being as tight a table as this season, from bottom to middle anyway, and it's been pretty much that way all season. I remember when Vieira and Gerrard arrived and most people thought it'd be a breath of fresh air to see such different ideas coming in. Was never meant to be, in the end.

Kompany next to come, and I hear a lot of chants for his name as Pep's successor but I don't think that would end well either.

People always think being a great player means you will become a great manager and it’s usually always not the case. Some of the greatest managers have been very average players. Ferguson, Mourinho, Wenger, Klopp. I guess you have Ancelotti and Pep who played at a high level.

Gerrard and Vieira will get another chance, I actually think sacking Vieira was harsh. Gerrard was doing badly at Villa so maybe deserved it.

Gerrard left Scotland too early imho or went in the EPL too early.  He should've went around and gained more experience from the different leagues in Europe.  He could've gone to France, Italy, Germany then England.  And funny you mention Guardiola...  During the last couple of years or so of his senior career as a player, he was already setting himself up to become a manager one day.  Check the last two clubs he played with.  He specifically chose those clubs because he wanted to learn from the managers of those clubs.

Vincent Kompany is turning out to be a decent manager with Burnley.  Let's see what he could do when they're in the EPL next season.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 22, 2023, 01:21:13 PM
Don't know why they even called this a safety car.
Stroll was outside the track, now Max got an huge advantage and he will probably win.

They justified themselves by saying that we put the Safety Car in because in the GPS we saw it saying that the Aston Martin has been parked on track and that is why they put the Safety Car in.That was a clearly huge advantage to Max Verstappen but at least Perez did not lose his lead like he did on last year where he lost the lead because he entered the pits 1 lap before the Safety Car coming in.Even if it was no Safety Car I think Max Verstappen would have managed to come third or second, that Redbull looks like another planet, when it surpassed another car Verstappen made it look like F1 vs F2 while F2 I am referring to the other cars, not a single car being able to hold him off,it will be a boring season for us fans.

Lol yeah, it's starting to show the making of another boring season.  But at least Aston Martin is making some noise by shaking things up in the top 3 - 5.  Wink  Nice to see that their couple of years work and development are starting to bear fruit.  Again and again I can't help but go back and think about Vettel.  His past work is part of some of the success that Aston Martin is currently enjoying imho.

Australia next on the schedule.  Let's see how Merc and Ferrari react...

Group A for the Round of 16 starts in 55 minutes or so.  The first Bo1 matches will be between Royal (T) vs Shine (Z) and Jaedong (Z) vs Action (Z) then the rest of the matches will proceed from there.

Jaedong vs Action should be good and fast paced...  The line for the match is a coin flip but I think Jaedong will tilt mid match and make a couple of wrong decisions.  Lol.  Not that confident tho.  I heard he's been practicing online a lot.

Here's my lottery ticket.

Can Ethereum surge past Bitcoin in this upcoming Bull Market? The supply has dropped a lot and it's no more inflationary, I think with this, Ethereum will make a new all-time high we have never seen before, do you think I am wrong?

It could but remember tho, BTC has always been the catalyst for the bull market in crypto overall.  The flippening depends on how much of the value that came into BTC would trickle down to ETH and stay in ETH.  I guess supply reduction helps but it really all depends on the demand.  I mean I'd like to see the flippening happen and I thought there was the possbility of it happening a couple of years ago but no.  It's a fun narrative but don't be too hopeful imo.

Pure speculation, there is already a lot of comparisons happening between other layer 2 networks that did airdrop before like Optimism.

Check this photo:
This is mirroring the market cap of other chain networks, this is just speculation or prediction. The majority of people really predict the price could be around starting at $1 - $5. So, let's wait for it.
I also love the airdrop distribution because there are only a few people who got big sizes.

That's fine, I guess.  But one thing a lot of us miss in trying to price these things is overall market sentiment and the perceived future potential of the project aka hype.  And right now, overall market sentment is fairly bullish and there's lots of hype with the project.  So I feel like it's gonna be priced more than 5 bucks per token on the get go and rise fast from there then evertually starts slowly descending to a tad above a billion market cap.  Dunno..  Could be so wrong here as a lot of people have been waiting for an ARB token for so long.

Anyone wants to talk about Filho vs Mokaev fight? Whole fight was decent, but knee bar that Filho made on the third round was something. Hard to believe tha Mokaev did not tap, because human knee simply can not bend on such an angle. How can Mokaevs joints survive that - I cant explain. That might be the nasties injury in ufc. Btw, this is 10th victory in a row by Mokaev (4-0 in ufc).

It didn't.  Pretty sure Mokaev has torn ligaments in that knee and could not fight for at least 6 months or more.  But he's still young so I think he'll recover nicely.  If he was near his 30's, that's gonna bother him for the rest of his career.  It could even bother him later down the line.

Anyway, I was avoiding this thread yesterday.  Lol.  I thought I'd win 4 of my lottery tickets until Fiziev sht the pie.  Not that it would make a difference as Usman lost too.  My top two guys...  :/
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: March 19, 2023, 02:15:16 PM
Hello guys, look at the beautiful chart of airdrop distribution from Nansen, since Nansen helped Arbitrum about distributing the airdropped tokens of Arbitrum from the given snapshot date which is February 6, 2023.

As Nansen said: "The median airdrop size is 1,250 ARB. Over 4,400 addresses are able to claim 10,250 ARB"

The higher addresses are the 1000 - 2000 airdrop size will get.

Cool.  I have a feeling that most of those wallets with less than 2000 or so tokens would be selling them and take profit as there's a huge possibilty that most of them are not really regular Arbitrum users.  Was it last year when Arbitrum had some sort of gimmick about having different mile stones for users to achieve to prep for the airdrop?  But then Arbitrum's devs decided to drop it because it was being gamed by cheaters?

Anyway as for 10 USD per ARB, that's like around 10 billion market cap.  Does anybody really think it would be that right off the bat?  Kinda sketchy imho.

Just speaking the truth... Ferrari approached again with Charles Leclerc being a thousandths slower, but we know very well, because it's no secret to anyone that Ferrari drive much better on Saturdays than on Sundays Tongue

Anyway, apart from the truth above, if you can say something about this classification is that nothing went as expected because I had Max Verstapen being the big favorite in the grid definition... but what I saw is that the leader of the championship, despite of even letting rivals get close, ended up being the victim of a problem that can affect any driver. Lucky for Sergio Pérez... will he be able to take advantage of this pole position?

Perez will try to take advantage of the pole position but then there's a possbilty that if Verstappen squeezes himself into second place and the gap between him and Perez isn't more than 5 seconds and with Verstappen closing in at every lap, we'll def see team orders here.  Dunno...  We've seen it a couple of times last year with RBR and a lot of times over the years in F1...  It's gonna be hilarious but what choice do they have?  If Verstappen is gaining ever lap might as well get ahead of themselves and let Verstappen pass.  It would suck for the fans tho as we wanna see these guys race.

Does anybody else think that Verstappen will continue to have mechanical or technical issues at the race?  I still have him finishing first in the race like what we saw last year when he had a grid penalty to I think 12th on the grid.  But as he's stlll using the same power unit, who knows what could happen...  It's gonna be a treat to watch him try and pass all the guys in front of him.  Hamilton, Russell, Leclerc, Sainz and Alonso.  Wink  But we'll see.  A DNF for him is also possible imho.
