Let me guess. There are countries that you don't accept from there?. I have found a gambling site where they blockes the countries that online gambling is not allowed. What countries are you expecting not to gamble?.
There are several countries that are restricted from playing according to our license. The full list you can find in our T&C

Quote
It would be very hard getting the requirements for KYC as of now (countriee with corona virus cases).
How the KYC procedure might be connected to the coronavirus?

@nakamura12 - you don't have any valid ID right now? Because the only thing that I can think of why you stated that getting requirements for KYC is hard right now s if you have don't have at least one valid ID in your possession and you need to apply one. And since a lot of areas are still in lockdown, you can't get such document. Or we are not understanding fully what you wanted to ask here?

By the way, the site seemed ok for me, lots of games and with gambling license already. That is one important factor for me as you know if the gambling site is serious or not in running their casino if at the very least they acquired their license.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you use for gambling frequently? on: April 11, 2020, 09:59:35 PM
We need to see what are the currencies are accepted on the gambling site we choose to play for because of most gambling sites have bitcoin and other few currencies as accepted. Basically there is no issue with gambling on stable coins but if you won billions in stable coins and wanted to cash out on any exchange you may face issues regarding KYC and others so stick with bitcoin so you can convert them into money if you won in millions. Grin
Well thats an another story if you do win up stablecoins but i do only see a few who do accept stable coins atm yet most of them do really have that common payment of BTC and other top alts as well.
When it comes on my gambling activity it do really indeed vary on whats the site is requiring but if i dont have a specific coin that they do ask out then i do simply skip out yet sometimes
i dont really like the feeling on spending up some btc but rather do like to play up some doge. This is why i do much prefer on some sites that do have internal converter to other crypto coins as well.

Internal converters actually is a good feature of a casino. Also, when you decide to withdraw your funds, you can select options other than bitcoin. And while you are playing inside the casino, you feel you have a lot more money if you have doge, based on my experience though.  Wink

Anyway, if you won large sum of stable coins inside a casino, you can always convert to other alt like eth or btc or whatever is available within the casino that will not cause you any trouble in withdrawing your funds.
1683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Compliance exchange or decentralized exchange, which one do you prefer? on: April 11, 2020, 06:47:17 AM
There are more and more centralized exchanges, but less and less trust. Which one do you prefer between regulated compliance exchanges and decentralized exchanges?

There are several threads already about the comparison or on the talks between centralized and decentralized exchanges.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5104208.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5165454.0

On topic, the main difference between the two excluding the privacy thing is that centralized exchanges do have fiat pairs
and thats the main reason why anyone do end up on using cex and we can actually see the difference when it comes to volume or liquidity.

Yes, this topic has been discussed in detail already. Also, most of the time the liquidity of the token or coin in dex is very low to non existent when it is compared to cex.  So it really depends on the coin or token that you want to trade with. You need to evaluate the situation before sending your coins to any of them. But if you do prefer to use a centralized one, I think one safe exchange to use is BNB right now. They have lower btc withdrawal fee also as compared to other popular ones. And no need to undergo KYC if you are only dealing with 2btc and below. But in case you can't find the trading pair on them, just look for a reputable exchange and don't forget to withdraw your money once your trading is finished. This action should be observed at all times when you are in exchanges to avoid possible loss of your money.

Restarting this project, what do you think will be different this time in terms of your development that will survive this crisis and can continue your mission far and beyond? What are your activities lined up so crypto users will get involved one more time on your project?
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: April 10, 2020, 08:29:09 AM
This isn't with gambling alone. With each and everything there is positive as well as negative side. The way we use it and move forward gives it an positive as well as negative outlook. With gambling we can't state certain things to be positive and certain things as negative.

Why I say this, because one who has got lucky to win big describe on gambling as a positive thing. On the other side the losers will term it negative. In this manner same thing gets described inverse.

I agree with what you’ve said that everything has both ends and it’s either positive or negative/ good or bad side. It’s the way we perceive things and what we do with it gives the result and image of something, in this case - gambling. It really depends on someone’s point of view, experience, and knowledge on gambling what he/she would say about it.

Like the example you gave, the winners and losers. The way they would describe gambling’s side would be way too different from each other since they experienced it first-hand. Of course, the unfortunate ones would say something negative because they lost while the fortunate would tell positive things because they won.

Whether what between the good or bad side of gambling overcomes the opposite one, relies only on the gambler himself who experienced both.

Perception is indeed based on the person involved, and on what degree he is into gambling activities. And a lot of factors play on how he sees gambling. It may include his financial status in life, where he works, what type of environment he is in, married or single, early foundation in gambling like influence of family or friends, knowledge of the game/sports and many others. Some people will see its good side more than its bad side whereas, others will have total rejection in any form of gambling.

So I guess, just respect each player because we don't know where they are coming from, as long as you are not harming anyone, or they are not harming you, just co-exist peacefully.
1686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difficulty choosing a trading platform on: April 10, 2020, 05:39:43 AM
What is important in your opinion when choosing a platform for yourself? What is worth paying attention to?

First point would be the platform's reputation. You don't want to go where there are problems or high delays in handling various issues, including the deposits and withdrawals.
Then the liquidity on the trade pair you want should be at reasonable levels.
The fees - trading and also deposit/withdrawal - are quite important too.
After this I think that's all personal choice. Some prefer the ones where KYC is not needed, for example.

You should also be prepared to see a lot of annoying trading bots wherever you go. In some places they may be more or less annoying, you'll have to look around for yourself.

To add from the above pointers, I prefer exchanges with fast response of technical support. Like for example, if you have withdrawal problems, and you contacted them, at least they have reply within 24 hours, if it will be days or weeks, it is like you are waiting in vain. Liquidity is also important when you are trading. You should check that before sending any coin to that exchange because you might end up waiting for days just to trade a particular coin. And finally, once you have finished your trading, don't forget to withdraw or transfer your funds to your secured wallet. Even if the exchange is popular like BNB, it is always better not to leave your coins in an exchange.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NO-ICO] Secure Cash (SCSX) - Reserve currency for global crisis on: April 09, 2020, 10:49:23 PM
We are already experiencing the world economic crisis, may I ask if this coin is living up to its tagline -

And checking the current trading performance, you are going down.

Also, can you include your richlist in your block explorer to see how many are currently holders of your coin? Though one person can have one or more addresses, at least we have the idea of your coin distribution.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: April 09, 2020, 07:52:12 AM
Why would I intend to stop playing gambling if I know to myself that I am not doing anything wrong?
Indeed that you are not doing anything wrong if you are only gambling; however, in the eyes of other people, gambling is an activity that they can easily be judged or talk bad.
If your own reputation is at stake, I am sure stopping your gambling activity is necessary even if it is just for fun. At the end of the day, reputation is much important when it comes to this matter.

Yes in several occasions reputations is much important, but not if the person knows how to handle his activities and engagements. Minding things
should be in the person capabilities to take care of his actions.
For those who are concern with how people will talk about them will see this as important matters but to those are not concern they will let
this to continue and enjoy.

I am with the side that if you know yourself you are not harming anyone by any means, why will I stop gambling? It's either you are into this because you want some entertainment, just enjoying life. You know yourself more than anybody, so if they do talk at your back, then, I think there's no reason to be acquainted to these people. It is on you how to take care of your business and not other people.

missing https isnt only big issue
<...>
They already fucked up everything here. Who here is going to believe their faked stats of 5000 active users and 10 million bets on a half-cooked brand new and shit gambling platform?  Grin Grin Grin

Looks like OP already abandoned ship.

More than 2 weeks already from the last time he was online here. I don't think he will gonna answer about the real numbers of players unless he will give the online stats when he comes back, if ever he comes back again. I have seen much much better dice sites here in the forum, but they usually have 100 - 200 online players. This one is nothing compared to them honestly. So if he can't be truthful here and not answer anything. I guess better lock up his thread the next time he will be online.

Sorry for not being active on this forum, but you can find me on our discord server.

Currently busy with Corona tests "I'm a medical lab tech", and development will continue once this state of emergency is over.

Network is working fine, as well as the explorer, seed nodes and website. Feel free to pm me if you need help with any issues regarding LYTX.

Wow, great! Nice to hear about your personal endeavours in this time of crisis. What you are doing right now is more important than this project. But do you have other personnel that can take care of your business here while you are out there? It is better to have others that will help you with this one. I believe there will be individuals who will be interested to assist you as there are a lot of people who are free right now. Might want to consider getting them on board.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 08, 2020, 08:53:05 PM
As we all know , Coronavirus has impacted each and every industry in the whole world and sports isn't an exception .

If you take a look at this  , https://www.nytimes.com/article/sports-canceled-coronavirus.html or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232295.0 you will get to know how many tournaments across different sports have been affected .

But the question is , is this the right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? The assumption I am making here is  that the gambling addicts are addicts on sports betting and not casino game addiction or poker .

Why this question is because although I wanna bet on sports ( which I have been doing every week since 8 years ) now I cannot .
It is doubtful this is going to have a positive effect on those that are addicted to sports bets, I have met a few people like that and they bet on everything regardless of whether they actually know the sport or not, even right now there must be some sort of sports events around the world and that could be enough for them to keep on betting, also I am pretty sure you could find bets like when a particular league is going to comeback? Or will the whole season get cancelled? As such like always the only way to beat an addiction is to make a conscious effort to get out of it regardless of any other external factor.

Well-said. It totally depends on the gambler, with or without pandemic. And if you are really a gambling addict, more than likely you need a professional help and in this situation it is hard to get a professional one as everyone is staying at home. But if you think you and your family can help your situation alone, then it's good for you. But one should be sincere about it and not change your stance once the lockdown is over or once the normal situation in gambling activities resume. Will power and total commitment is needed to suddenly change your lifestyle. One should have good emotional or moral support to conquer this fight.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 08, 2020, 04:10:52 AM
the future of crypto currencies? I do not think so. payment services in the future may receive a lot of stable coins in their company, but that does not mean stable coins are the future of cryptocurrencies

stable coins are not much different from fiat currencies because the price changes are not wild like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies

That's why payment services are favouring stable coins right now because of less volatility in the market. But one problem that I am seeing with stable coins are the owners of this project. Are they really truthful about their back up reserves for their coin? If the company managing that stable coin collapses, what will happen now to this stable coin? They will collapse also, right? So I don't think stable coins are the future of crypto. I still prefer crypto that is not manipulated by a group of people or few individuals. And that I think is still bitcoin. Maybe one day, price volatility will not be an issue anymore. Transaction fee/speed is already addressed by lightning network. In this regard, maybe we need to promote more of LN.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 07, 2020, 11:09:41 PM
They feel safe, Any mistake they can make they can correct it! That's the huge advantage of bank to cryptocurrency. Your card has been stolen? You can easily get that block and make sure your money is safe and even sometimes when you get scammed you can get your money back and you can make sure that the bad guys will get punished. Cryptocurrency is decentralized means your safety is in your own hands, 1 mistake you cannot go back and fix it. People trust government because they feel safe. That's it.

This pretty summarizes why people are still into banking even if some of them are already crypto users. Security is the key. Whatever happens to their account, someone will help them recover it. But in crypto, you are alone in the battle. When you lost it, it's totally gone. So you really can't expect people to totally convert them into crypto users. They will always allot their resources to their safe haven and I don't see anything wrong with that. We all want some security in this life.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitgesell on: April 07, 2020, 01:04:28 PM
What are your goals that you want to achieve for this project? And since you mentioned that it is in honour of Silvio Gesell, I googled it as honestly, I don't know him.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silvio_Gesell

His economic philosophy is great but in reality, it's not happening to us. Do you know by any chance any area or country that is practicing his concept or at least near to what he wanted? You have a lot of things to do here. I hope you are not relying from the community to accomplish those things that you listed. Domain and website is a basic task to accomplish by the dev himself.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 07, 2020, 11:41:33 AM
I usually play sometimes because I am not an active player. The times I have won I have invested in crypto or bought something for my home.
Usually, I make a spreadsheet to know how to distribute the good use of my money. Because I have my intention to save for the future of my children.
you are not an active player but you are making spreadsheets for your gambling activities?thats cool and it is the first time i read such thing.

or maybe those non regular gamblers are more detailed than regular?because they treasure more the money as they need for their future.

This is the first time I also read about it.

Either he is so careful or he really wants to look for himself not to be fallen into addiction, it might be an overacting but still, you are taking care of yourself and that is good. I stopped tracking my losses and wins since I thought that is not necessary since I am not addicted and I can control myself but I guess it is not that bad to do it for self-reflection, isn't it?

There are individuals that have that kind of mentality. The people I know of, not only the money they allotted for gambling or entertainment purposes but every bit of their daily expenses. In that way, they said they know where their money is going to. Not to be stingy but to have the grasp how much in a month is spent in food, bills, fuel, and others. I think it also helps in managing your financial expenditures but you really do need patience in doing that. Also, that strategy, you will see which part you can save. But on my end, when it comes to my gambling activities, I don't record it as like others, I'm not really a regular gambler so for me, there's no need to jot down all those bets. I just enjoy the game basically.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 100 Dollar Stable Token on: April 06, 2020, 11:41:25 PM

The main purpose of the token is to build a community first so even if we are not able to sell a single coin, it does not matter to us. We have sufficient funds to take the whole project to the destination.

For those who are in doubt with this project, let us wait for them to show some real progress here. They have sufficient funds to move forward so no one is obliging to spend anything here. Eager to know if this is alive after 6 months or 1 year here?

Your site is down... How are you going to launch a casino if we don't know the reliability of your website?

I read that you will create casino from the funds raised. What if you can't raise enough funds, are you still going to develop your casino site with your own money?

1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens on: April 05, 2020, 10:39:19 PM
Exchange tokens are more trusted both not all exchange so I would advice we check CMC for exchanges and top ones as they protects thier tokens and ensure it moons together with BTC and also moon hence other coins are mooning. Exchange tokens is what gives exchanges respect and builds more trust do they don't joke with it.

As long as the exchange is up and running, somehow those exchange tokens will be of value on their own exchange. However, once that exchange is shut down, the corresponding exchange token will also die down. So be careful when choosing an exchange token. Better choose an exchange token, which is hard to be bankrupt or closed, and maybe, BNB is one of these good ones.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 JAN 2021 BTC WILL HIT 100K$ on: April 04, 2020, 10:15:52 PM
If you look at the market now, you can see that now everything is not good and that Bitcoin can not grow even to $ 10,000, so do not even think that Bitcoin can grow to $ 100k until 2021.
Unless there's a big whales who will put a huge amount of money inside this market and bring everything to the moon, we all aware that with this pandemic virus everything around the market are really been affected but the nature of crypto is unpredictable we can't tell what future are waiting
for everyone who are investing from this market, it's only time who can declare whether this prediction will happen or not.

And I guess, 100k is still too much. First, we need to hit $10k, and then $20k. $100k by next year is possible if those whales keep on injecting money in crypto market as you said. Let us all be realistic here so you will not be depressed if this level is not achieved.
