1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 21, 2023, 08:04:34 PM
In light of two cases about casinos being charged for not stopping one player from playing past his betting threshold and from one demanding one casino to return his losses because of VPN issues.

Do you think casinos should implement a survey assessment from time to time to assess gamblers if they are comfortable spending more and if they are using VPN all the time even if they allow the use of VPN.

This is for the casinos to avoid issues in the future when players look for loopholes to regain their losses by charging them in court.

A Gambling Operator Court Case
It's not actually a problem to them, they've been reminding gamblers that they should only gamble what they can afford to lose, and if they can't take it anymore, there's always the self-exclusion or they're all free to leave the casino and never pay a visit again.
At most times, it's not the casino's problem because they've been there to make money and it's a business. While those addicted gamblers, when they lose money, can't take it and they look for someone to blame their losses and the one that's always taking the blame is none other than the casino they're gambling with. But detecting a user's activity and asking a survey is actually a good idea to gather data from their users on these actual problems.
1742  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 21, 2023, 01:04:45 PM
Credit cards always leave a foot print behind wherever you use them for spending or paying bills, it's not a safe practice at all if using them on online casino, those casinos are all centralized companies, and they can get a hold of your card details to do some things behind your back.
Exactly and that's why thinking of it as a safe practice will not really be considered as safe if you're going to use your credit cards for this actual purpose.
You'll never know who's gonna use it back when you've placed it on them. They can use it for another purpose, not the actual card but the details of it, at least this is for those unethical casinos that do operate but also have some unethical business together with their operations. Try to research about credit card fraud that people have been reporting and ask them if one of their usage is with a casino, who knows if some interviews will say a yes.
1743  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: May 21, 2023, 11:12:51 AM
Now people are not looking for the long term jobs. They are now looking for the business which can help them grow.
Not really, if there's an opportunity to work for long-term jobs. There will be people that are quick as a flash to take it as long as the opportunity permits them to stay for the long term. People want security and this is a real thing while everyone wishes to have a business and grow with it. For most starters, having a job is a sign of having no failure at all but if it's for having another source of income then business is the other source that we're thinking of. That's why even if there have been people on their jobs and they've worked for so long and even they're already old, they won't just leave it because there's the stable income that they get from it. No offense to both parties but wherever you're happy and earning hard earned money, that's the best place where we can be as long as we're happy and enjoying.

NASDAQ is a stock, bingx and bitget are crypto exchanges. If you want to trade NASDAQ then you proceed to the exchanges or brokers that deal with the US stock market and one of them is etoro. ~> https://www.etoro.com/discover/markets/stocks/exchange/nasdaq
NASDAQ can be trade on Bingx
Thanks.

Bitcoin over other assets? Difference is with the rate of increase. One is having a higher one but with higher risk while the other is the counterpart, most likely. This will now be depending on investor's preference. As we all know, higher risk means higher profit. But bottomline would be if you can endure the negative outcome from biting high risk. If you are into less risk, but lower returns, then stock and other assets such as in the field of real estate. It is for me, generates a more assured profit but for a longer period of time of waiting for return. Some investors are looking of instant profit which pushes them to go beyond their loss tolerance or the amount they can afford losing.
There have been investors in the other markets that have been trying to get into Bitcoin and all they want is to trade and not to do what most are doing which is holding. There's a difference between doing it and having the transition that one has to make for the adjustments. It's true that those other markets are lesser in volatility but sometimes, they're also as volatile as Bitcoin. But it's interesting to wait what OP has to say on this one if he comes back.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 20, 2023, 01:36:21 PM
Let us say that some casinos do appreciate the loyalty of their customers and it's like a limited offer and feature for those that they've seen being loyal to them. But we do know that gambling with borrowed money isn't going to take you any longer and it's a plus that it will only give you more debt including the interest. When we've got money that came from loan, we tend to just spend it because we're thinking that we'll even pay the interest of it and there's an urgency of spending it as soon as possible.

Even thought with that for sure a casino will not let their players to lend money on their platform since they know the risk for not getting paid. Maybe a loyalty bonus will be given to their loyal costumers but not a loan since they might get a lot of defaults especially if there gamblers cannot afford to pay the money especially when they already lose everything they had. Also much better for a player not to think about taking loan since this will never result any good and this put us on huge risk to get bankrupt.
It's a business and they'll for sure going to add some twist with the rules upon granting a user a loan. But most likely, they'll just put it through some wagering requirements and they'll only use that as a typical bonus that one will like. Well, whoever thinks of gambling now and paying it later, what do you get from it? The enjoyment and chance of winning but you're unsure on it and there's more emotional satisfaction on it even if you don't own the money yet.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bitcoiner's Expression of Love and Gratitude to Satoshi Nakamoto on: May 20, 2023, 10:22:11 AM
Nice art and words of appreciation to Satoshi. All of us are grateful to him for this invention that he/she/they made. Nothing can beat it to the point that anyone will be angered because he made it for the people. Yeah, not everyone will be pleased with his invention but it goes to the government that can't accept the fact that their system is flawed and he just made an alternative that should be for the people made by the people as he represented us.

Game 3 was too easy for GG (2-1). Many have hoped that it's gonna be Team Secret that will stop GG but then, they've lost against them.
Who knows if Puppey will come up with some decent strategy that shall beat GG if ever they face it again in the near future. Team Secret has to win the other series' that they've got or else, they'll remain in the bottom standings.
Game 3 was tight until the 12th min mark, where they lost that 5v5 team fight and it was all GG after that. I thought they got a shot at winning, but GG immediately pulled away to close the series within 23mins.
Well, this happens with one single clash, and the entire game changes quickly. Too bad for Team Secret as many have been counting on them just to beat GG. It looks like GG is the villain these days but that's just the challenge for most because there is no doubt that they're the strongest now. GG is good at capitalizing and taking advantage of these situations when there's some fluke and choke being made by their opponent. Teams have to remember that when they're against GG.

Is it possible to trade NASDAQ on bingx or bitget? in copytrading I am following a trader on bingx who is trading USTECH/USD but I don't see it as a pair in my perpetual futures account.

What pros and cons do you see when scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets such as NASDAQ.
Better not to scalp bitcoin, best approach on it is to go long term just as what you might do with nasdaq.

What assets do you recommend for scalping other than Bitcoin and what platform to use for those assets?

Never heard of such, and even if there be, I think it's plain stupid, cus I personally will play on the casino, and if I don't Win, I will never return to pay the money, I will just go and start gambling on another casino maybe outside where I live.
Totally a stupid decision if someone who's addicted to gambling will result in this. We saw how gamblers who have gambled and then used loan money for their gambling activities, they've never been trusted again. But with such condition, I don't think the casino will just allow it without anything in return to them knowing that there are also nasty gamblers that won't pay them if they hand the money and allows them to gamble freely and easily.

Since casinos are aware of how gambling works and how debt-ridden gamblers may become, I don't believe any will permit borrowing and lending. We already know that borrowing money to gamble will never be the best option. We can't afford to lose these funds, therefore gambling with them will be a major risk.
I agree that you need to have questioned your friend because that sum is not small. If casinos made such an offer, many players would take advantage of it, causing them to suffer severe losses. If casinos ever start allowing borrowing, more gamblers will undoubtedly develop gambling addictions.
Let us say that some casinos do appreciate the loyalty of their customers and it's like a limited offer and feature for those that they've seen being loyal to them. Well, the statement is right. That's why you see the majority of the people are hardworking for the sake of their good. If the good is just coming easily then we'll always have that thought that we shouldn't work hard and smart anymore because things do come easily.
We're living in an unfair world and this is the reality that should sink in for everybody if you want to have for the greater good, it doesn't grow like mushrooms but it grows like trees, stably, patiently, and hardly.

I had high hopes for Secret in DPC tour 3 but so far they cannot find a win and this tour is stacked with talent players. They also tend to be favorites in bookies eyes so I think at some point , Secret will start to get victories in a row and hopefully they will avoid relegation because any major or even TI is not the same without Secret.

They will be play today against the best team in the world GG because that is the honest truth...there was never a team who dominated Dota 2 pro scene like GG is doing right now and I'm curious if Secret can bring a secret strategy against them. Game starts in about 3 hours from now.
What a series for GG and Team Secret. Although Team Secret has managed to win 1 map for this series the entire series has been won by GG.

@op, if what the said dude told you is true, then I think it is imperative to ask him how he came out owing a casino to the ton of 60k dollars, because I do not think there is any casino any where in this world where gambler can gamble on credit, and pay later, he possibly borrowed that money from friends, relatives somehow.
Yes, much better to ask him and it's also possible that he's just trolling him justifying that gambling with credit is such a good thing for him and just reversing the psychology on him.

Genuinely want to know what prevents your friends/gf/ colleagues from investing? Did you have any barriers when you first started?
Well, short of finances that is mostly the barrier that I've got when I get to know about Bitcoin. And the other people that I've talked to before, they've said the same thing "If I've got money, I'll buy Bitcoin". That's what I do hear a lot every time the price of Bitcoin goes high. They do recognize the opportunity that has been missing them but they don't do actions on it because they're short on money. The volatility of Bitcoin isn't scary at all, it's even lovely to see that there's such an asset like this that we'll enjoy even for the short run.

Just to react on this one, no best for most but if you're a hardworking office man and you've got some need to enjoy the tiring day through gambling then that means that the best timezone is during night time or before sleeping. While others might disagree with that because if you happen to lose your bankroll entirely then you'll have sleeping problems because it's about emotional and hard acceptance. So, it's either of the two after you just woke up or before going to bed.  Tongue

I am only familiar with and have used personally pancakeswap and Uniswap and the experience that I've been with one of them specifically Uniswap was not so good. But it's not about its service but it's about the timing when I did swaps there and that's when the height of ETH fees (LOL even until now ETH gwei fees are still high). While we do see a lot of them gaining traction and popularity from many traders they keep on swapping here and there based on the market hype that they're seeing as the new tokens are being listed there easily. While I do understand that an actual DEX should really be a DEX where it's not just focused on one chain but it does support Bitcoin and anyone can exchange there and like the others have said, Bisq is the only one that suits that description.

Blacklist is performing better with kpii now in the offlane but their 2-0 win against BOOM wasn't as impressive compared to what Talon had to go through against SMG.
Having Kpii is truly a boost for them but after watching their match against Talon. It's certain that they're still far from beating them. In retrospect, there's a problem with their drafts and I don't know if they're all agreeing with the picks but mostly they do and Ninjaboogie is involved in it. I think that Kpii's help and experience will also help them learn from this match against Talon. And can't argue with anyone that SEA's strongest now is them, Talon and those that are saying that it's the weakest region up til' now - is true.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 17, 2023, 10:32:05 PM
I still own some alts but I've decided not to look after another and a new one. Whatever I've got and if I want to invest in, I'll just add more to my stash with its quantity as it saves me time. Before it was all about the credibility of the project that makes me want to look after them and I've stuck to that and choose to get into projects that have already built their reputation and that's what I trusted them most. I don't get any help to any friends of mine, they're even worse than me at picking.

On that particular statement from Embiid, that's not the way an MVP should talk.

Just be a gentleman and never to point your finger to anyone, something that he needed to work on while taking the early vacation
after being eliminated, they've got that chance in game 6 almost winning that game if he just takes it over and force his way to make
some solid attacks. But things happened and nothing can be change now, do the hard work and keep trying to blend with your teammate
instead of saying something that is out of context.
He should just accept their loss and just move on. Although it's kind of hard to move on when they're almost there but fell short. They just have to come back stronger next season.
They're not the only team that has lost in this conference and the majority of them are already now having their own personal activities and for sure many are already focusing on their next season's performances.

He wasn't as effective in the playoffs. Unlike Jokic, whose performance even improves in the postseason, he didn't have the same impact. Honestly, I thought Jokic would win the regular season MVP, but it was Embiid who received the honor. Nonetheless, Jokic played exceptionally well. However, if Embiid cannot accept defeat in the playoffs, I don't believe he will grow as a player, and it will be challenging for him to win a championship.
And I've just seen a trivia that he was the first MVP that didn't reach the conference finals. And speaking of Jokic, he did well with their game a while ago against the Lakers. In just 10 minutes of play, the dude is a beast and did make great stats for himself.

Quote
I know that frustration is there, he should just be set and happy having and being the MVP for this season.
Maybe one step at a time for him, next stop is" FINALS MVP".
Yeah, him and his team can do better next season. And speaking of next season, Spurs is the one to do the first pick and everyone already knows whom they're picking, Victor Wembanyama. While it's possible, I'm just worried that he won't be the same as Chet after the draft.
1759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is more lucrative between mining and trading bitcoins? on: May 17, 2023, 02:31:26 PM
I am looking to start my Bitcoin journey from somewhere that would be of advantage to me as the economic situation in my country bears down hard and with having family to Carter for, it is rather exhausting.
Without much physical mentors with real life experiences except for YouTube and this forum where I feel I can ask good questions and be answered well, am asking, which is the more lucrative endeavour for a newbie hoping to benefit from cryptocurrency at first between Bitcoin mining and Bitcoin trading?

Are there other Bitcoin endeavours one could be interested and invested in, other than trading and mining?
I'll choose to mine if I've got the resources to buy all of those ASICs that can sustain somehow my daily living as well as help my family. But, it's not that easy to do because it will require you much capital. Whilst in trading, you're taking all the risk and it's not easy as well even if you've got the resources and capital, you need to grow it through trading. With all of the choices to sink in to my reality, the best option which will be agreed by many is just to buy and hold. Nothing beats that honestly.
1760  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 16, 2023, 10:21:36 PM
You don't have to make a lot of threads. Yes, post all of those details and just go with the thread you've made on the Scam Accusations and post all of those stuff that will prove your accusation. It's because many accusations have been not just on this casino but also on others but the posters or accusers didn't post anything but mere words. Owner and most of their staff are accommodating so if they really have seen something that's needed to fix on your concern, they'll come to you.
True, many people are throwing words of accusation without any detailed evidence.
If you only make accusations without being based on clear evidence and details, then it is possible that these accusations are only made to bring down the reputation of some of the accused casinos.
We can see for ourselves that Stake.com is a gambling site with such a high reputation and trust that we can judge whether the allegations put forward are the truth or just empty words.
We ourselves also know that the team is very accommodating so it is impossible if a problem occurs just to be left alone without a good resolution.

I honestly don't really believe what he's been accusing of.
He's now given something to read and it's detailed so I've got to read just a few of it and then nothing really is impressing anyone on it.

People will probably look at those threads as spam more than an appeal for actual help. If enough substantial evidence has been posted on that thread, the community itself will put a red tag on the casino you're referring to and even give a heads up on other people to stay away from that casino until your issue is fixed. Scam accusation is there for a reason, and if you still make threads outside of that board that particularly attacks the casino while not adding anything relevant to your current case, your thread will really be ignored at all.

Also, casinos such as Stake will take these accusations seriously. Imagine raking in millions in revenue and letting your name be tarnished by a simple issue? I doubt they'll do that. Maybe have some more patience, I guess? Or post substantial evidence that will urge Stake to take action on your request. Your post means nothing without any evidence that somehow puts Stake in the bad spot.
True, they won't let it pass when there are problems that they can resolve and if it's attended to them properly. But with all such accusations and what not, these are just like really spams that want to gather attention from everyone. I have looked back to the thread he has made and still got no proofs provided but all activities he said he's doing but do you believe that?
