1761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BTC Transactions Fees are Skyrocketing? on: May 09, 2023, 07:41:20 PM
You think bitcoin transactions are expensive, look into this

source
That's just to make everyone looking at the fees convenient. The comparison is off when we're talking about the fees for the transactions we do since it's just even 1 sat/byte and you'll get confirmed in a few minutes. When we've been used to these low fees then this comparison won't really matter at all and even it goes back to normal, these fees from other industries have been there for the longest time and they've used to it already just as we with the transaction fees for bitcoin.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 09, 2023, 10:15:59 AM
All of those that you've mentioned are enough already and in favor of most gamblers that you've got. But I also do agree that if you've got a target like having more customers then you have to start those welcoming bonuses as that's encouraging people to come to you.
Especially if the offer of that welcoming bonus is decent. I haven't visited your casino but do you have a tier or level for your players, I think that's one good incentive or reward for acknowledging their loyalty.
1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala - what is your plan with the new token upgrade? on: May 09, 2023, 08:53:51 AM
I like them but I'm not willing to buy them right now thanks to the clogged network of Bitcoin since I've got also other altcoins can I use to convert it into gala but they're not that much.
So, I only got Bitcoin but that's not a wise idea for me to just convert it onto Gala since I've got no spare as of the moment and these alts that I've got as a reserve aren't also that much. If you know what I mean that my buying strategy is to buy on bulks into alts and not that little amount just as what we do in buying bitcoin, it's just different in my case.
1764  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ NowDice.com 🎲 Low House Edge 🎲 NO KYC! 💰 Jackpot 💰 on: May 08, 2023, 07:40:36 PM
Some interesting rules out there and the first one that I've noticed is you're valuing everyone's privacy and hopefully that you'll be intact with that and it won't change quickly that you'll later on ask for KYC eventually.

1. We have made changes to our fee structure. From now on, we will cover all transaction fees, eliminating the need for you to worry about any additional costs.
But this couldn't be done for free and it will be at your business cost. While as a start, this can be a good ruling that dicers will be enticed to come to you but this isn't just sustainable in the long run if the fees right now are a lot but these high fees won't stay for so long so, I wish you the best.

I've been enthusiastic that they'll be the ones to stop GG. Yes, they did win but just one time to them, and then the rest is history and another victory for GG.
You're right and you're feeling exactly was the outcome of this match and they did win the grand finals making this tournament another easy tournament for them since all of those past majors.
Who do you think can stop GG from the next tournaments? While, it's already announced that the next TI12 will be in Seattle, USA.

I also thought that Team Liquid will be able to win against GG, especially after pulling that pocket strat against 9Pandas in the Lower Bracket Finals. I thought they will have another pocket strat specifically tailored for the Gaimin Gladiator but GG is just too strong for Team Liquid right now. I guess with the game play that they have, GG will continue to be dominant this year.
GG is just unstoppable and they need to be stopped or should I say that they are unlikely to be stopped by whomever. But just another good news for Sumail, he's been taken as a loan by Team Aster as their mid lane until the TI12.
This is actually good for him that he's got a better team now, he'll not do good with Nigma Galaxy because they're just now a weak team and have been falling shortly and barely manages to get to the lan tournaments.

Where's the hype on this thread guys? Berlin Major is now in the grand finals. The two teams are:
  • Team Liquid
  • Gaimin Gladiators
With the history of these two teams, Team Liquid didn't beat them from the last major that they faced together and that was during the Lima majors.
For the first map, there's Pudge + Alche + DS for Team Liquid while for Gaimin Gladiators, they've got typical heroes and with a Terrorblade as carry.
Team Liquid looked a bit off this tournament and still they were able to make it to grand final. That being said Gaimin Gladiators looked good in all matched and I don't see a way for Liquid to win today. I took GG @1.6 after few minutes of the first map, don't know what were the odds before it started but I fell like realistic odds should have been something like 1.4.

Even South America is now a strong region. SEA is now the weakest.
Reality hurts but that's the truth.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm getting tired of the high fees for gwei on: May 07, 2023, 01:07:31 PM
@OP, check your coin if it's possible to be found in other networks and if it's being supported by multiple chains. Like Polygon and BSC, these two are currently not that much compared to ETH's gwei.
It's really terrible to see the fees go up because of those transactions that are being done and if you're in a hurry, you have to oblige and pay those crazy fees. But before anything else, you might as well do check if it's on other chain to save fees as I've said.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 06, 2023, 02:15:39 PM
We've been playing games like this and that position 5 medusa should have just built as a carry as well when he's able to gather some items and gold during the mid-late game. That will give OG the help that Ursa(OG) needs against Naga(EG) and AM(EG) that are too tough and tanky.
Shifting position 5 to a hard carry is very hard to do even on late game. OG will be lacking support utilities to sustain carries. This is only possible if position 1 and 2 is capable to sustain of their own which is not on OG case. They just use Medusa Split shot to determine the real Naga instead of using it as the real carry of the game.

I didn’t watch the game but wth with this pos 5 Medusa. The split shot is really a good counter but the sustain is what they are lacking on this game. AM is a hard counter for Medusa which means her mana shield is useless especially on late game when AM has an items.

I’m surprised OG managed to extend this game to almost 1hr match without a sustain and pure damage. EG doesn’t have sustain but they Song for a complete reset or reposition.
That's what I'm saying and there's no split shot on that Medusa and there's really no help in damage because the items on that medusa were all for help and support.
Well, the game is done and it's managed to reach game 3 but that game 3 was a joke for OG. They looked like little children playing against veterans.
Well done for EG and they're going to advance to face Team Liquid for the top 4 and moving forward to top 3. Now, the game is 9pandas and Gaimin Gladiators.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 06, 2023, 11:43:33 AM
EG takes game 1 against OG.
Anti-Mage mid for EG while position 5 Medusa for OG. There's the clutch of the game when OG was winning on those last clashes but the location of those clashes happens in the Outpost of EG.

1771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Sats, what's your take on: May 06, 2023, 09:41:39 AM
I saw this on a video where they've been asking people what to choose from, a penny or a million then obviously people will choose the million. While in this case, I'll choose that 1 sat and be doubled everyday at the end of the month.

My calculation result is different from the others since I've chosen to rely on the image which is 1 sat but it's almost the same numbers but with just another number which came out to be 1,073,741,824.
While 1 bitcoin = 100M sats then that shows how massive this condition is at the end of the month. So, my calculation goes like this and let's say 1 month = 30 days:

Day 1: 1 x 2 = 2 sats
Day 2: 2 sats x 2 = 4 sats
Day 3: 4 sats x 2 = 8 sats
Day 4: 8 sats x 2 = 16 sats
Day 5: 16 sats x 2 = 32 sats
Day 6: 32 sats x 2 = 64 sats
Day 7: 64 sats x 2 = 128 sats
Day 8: 128 sats x 2 = 256 sats
Day 9: 256 sats x 2 = 512 sats
Day 10: 512 sats x 2 = 1024 sats
Day 11: 1024 sats x 2 = 2048 sats
Day 12: 2048 sats x 2 = 4096 sats
Day 13: 4096 sats x 2 = 8192 sats
Day 14: 8192 sats x 2 = 16384 sats
Day 15: 16384 sats x 2 = 32768 sats
Day 16: 32768 sats x 2 = 65536 sats
Day 17: 65536 sats x 2 = 131072 sats
Day 18: 131072 sats x 2 = 262144 sats
Day 19: 262144 sats x 2 = 524288 sats
Day 20: 524288 sats x 2 = 1048576 sats
Day 21: 1048576 sats x 2 = 2097152 sats
Day 22: 2097152 sats x 2 = 4194304 sats
Day 23: 4194304 sats x 2 = 8388608 sats
Day 24: 8388608 sats x 2 = 1677716 sats
Day 25: 1677716 sats x 2 = 33554432 sats
Day 26: 33554432 sats x 2 = 67108864 sats
Day 27: 67108864 sats x 2 = 134217728 sats
Day 28: 134217728 sats x 2 = 268435456 sats
Day 29: 268435456 sats x 2 = 536870912 sats
Day 30: 536870912 sats x 2 = 1,073,741,824 sats = 10.74 BTC

Bonus if the month is 31 days.
Day 31: 1,073,741,824 sats x 2 = 2,147,483,648 = 21.47 BTC

Tundra Esports vs Team Liquid 0 - 2 - WIN
Team Liquid is crushing the opposition Game 1 was miCKe with his (Ursa) managed to get 14 kills while the other supports him, making a win for Liquid with 32 kills and 9 towers to Tundra's 6 kills and 6 towers, winning the game 1 and by taking good kills in Game 2 miCKe's (Bloodseeker) crushed them with 14 kills while Boxi's (Techies) got 29 assists making the game easy, getting the game 1st with 40 kills and 9 towers while Tundra manage to get just 10 kills and get 3 towers,
The two games of Team Liquid and Tundra were like easy matches. Tundra, the former TI champs were totally out of the Berlin major and will go home in 5th-6th place with 300 DPC points. I think that's not bad at all if we're going to look at the DPC points distribution coming from the champs which is 500 and they're just 200 points away from it. I am much excited to see the match between 9Pandas and GG. Just for everyone's idea, there's a beef between ramzes and Quinn. And they're now going to meet face to face in the main stage of the Berlin major. I wonder how these will react as ramzes said that Quinn didn't really react at all. Btw, Quinn is calling ramzes as ramdog, while ramzes is making fun of Quinn in the pubs through tipping and trashtalking in the chat.

This is correct, that's the difference between investing and gambling. But it's much better to avoid arguing with the gamblers that don't have their minds open.
These types of people will argue with you until the next morning and won't allow you to win any rounds of your debate. So, just oblige what they say and you've got your own point.
It's pointless to have these arguments win by you as you've got nothing to gain, you've a point and they got a point as well that they believe they're correct above everyone else.

You can't win an argument to people who are not open to any opinion of others.
Well, if you know what you're doing, you don't need to make a debate with other people.
Just continue what you think is best for your money, because later on, they will see the results of your effort.
The will soon find out that you still have some of your satoshis, whereas, most of them have lost theirs with their bets.
So who do you think is the real winner? The one with satoshis at the end or the ones who lost it?
So for me, you don't need to win on this argument, just look at the outcome of your activities.
Yes, just try to avoid such arguments because it's going to be an endless debate for you when the other party can't accept your ideas which are correct and they're saying that they're correct on their own thinking. Even if, by analyzing what they're saying, they're wrong and yours should be the accepted fact by them. I've been into such situations and it's exhausting and will just suck all of your energy and thinking with that so, I ended up just giving them their own point so that it will come to an end. Just value your peace of mind and let them win an argument that they'll never lose.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: May 05, 2023, 06:31:01 PM
I guess Ryan might not be satisfied on how him and Goosen put up their strategy. Anyways, we will see which one his going to pick next as he wanted to go and move up to 140 lbs.
That's probably the case and no matter how close they were as seen by the public, the results will speak for themselves and will make him realize that there's a need to change. Who are the candidates that he might pick or is anyone who's got a list of the potential replacement for Goosen after this parting ways?

I honestly see nothing really great about Ryan Garcia. He is good but not great and I do not even think he will ever become a world champion. Or maybe he can upset a champion or win a vacant belt because he is gifted with power but most likely he is not holding a world title for long. There's a huge difference between Garcia and the prospect days of Teofimo Lopez, Adrien Broner, etc.

Although he seemed to improve when he was accepted to join the team of Eddy Reynoso and Canelo Alvarez. But after his popularity continued to grow, he seemed distracted and tempted to enjoy life and it leads to their split. Joe Goossen is an experienced coach but he was probably picked earlier to cater to Garcia's demand.

After sacrificing and just following all of Tank's demands, the event was a huge success. Ryan can leave boxing and enjoy his life like he seems to always wants. Or maybe his ego is touched after the loss and will return. But if he wants to develop himself, he needs a coach that is Spartan-like when it comes to training and not a coach that will only follow his wants. I doubt Reynoso will open his doors again to Ryan. Maybe Sugar Hill Steward or Ronnie Shields?
Everything that you've said has the possibilities and we will never know the actual reasons for their separation. But then, with all of the distractions, it's possible that he seems to be liking the fame that he wants to enjoy. I doubt that he'll leave boxing yet, he's still young to get out of the sports and it's too early. Not that much achievement as you've said and that's why it's going to fuel his hunger for more success for the upcoming years, whatever he does, I'll still wish him luck.
1775  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: More exchanges shutting down, Hold your Asset with You on: May 05, 2023, 05:18:21 PM
We have warned many times before these shutting downs that no one should keep their Bitcoins or any asset in the exchanges if they don't have a plan of exchanging there within that particular day. Many are using it wrongly for keeping their assets there, thinking that it's okay to keep it and that the exchanges won't have any problems in the future. Aside from being hacked, they can file for bankruptcy and you'll never know when it will happen before they give an advisory to their users.
1776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: May 04, 2023, 09:16:39 PM
In my opinion, before we continue this conversation, we need to clearly understand that investing is a way to make money (sometimes very risky) and gambling is entertainment. I would advise against making the wrong associations in your head, as some do, and not trying to get rich in a casino, as it depends on luck, not desire, amount of money or free time.

1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Shrinkflation on: May 04, 2023, 01:26:45 PM
Quote
Shrinkflation is practice of reducing the size of a product while maintaining its sticker price.

I hate it when companies reduce quantity (and often quality too) of product to sell it at same price as before to combat inflation. Oh and don't forget those, "30% Extra" labels.

Inflation makes everything rise, so might as well keep the original quantity and just increase the price.

Do you agree? How would you combat inflation if you were running a company?
It's either of the two and there's really no choice at all but to choose one of them. Reduce the size or quantity but maintain the price or retain the quantity, size, and quality of what you sell then increase the price. I am a bread lover and the bread that I used to buy has actually shrunk those bakeshops understand the need for them to adjust because of the higher price of ingredients, mainly flour and wheat. If I own a company and produce products, I don't want to pass the burden to my customer and will choose to adjust at least the quantity/quality. But before doing that, I'll try to make a survey of my loyal customers about what they prefer, an increase in prices or the same price but an adjustment in quantity.

So, it seems that they are on the blaming game now and I wouldn't be shocked if a similar news will explode that Ryan Garcia have cut his ties with his promoter, Oscar Dela Hoya, although, I'm not even sure if Garcia can do it now (this year) because he got a contract under Golden Boy. I guess, we'll know about it soon as they are now on a hot mess. It all started when Oscar didn't show up in the post-fight press con.
I don't think that he'll do that with the Golden Boy. It's entirely a different matter that he should address. There can also be some real life and personal matters that he has to settle with Goosen, we don't know though but soon he'll for sure going to prevail it.

It's just a matter of time before there will be higher authorities that will knock on Meta's door and will bring and invite them back to Congress or the Senate to talk about these scam shits that are appearing on their platform.
They'll be grilled as to why they're doing nothing to protect their users from these scumbags. And just as the news about them that they have to distribute the $700M+ to their users and pay for the data that has been exploited. It won't be surprising if there will be another lawsuit but this time, related to the scams that they're not filtering.

There are still many countries that are friendly with crypto. As far as i know if USA is far better compared with china or rusia in term of giving crypto some spaces to be developed.
The USA is just strict but you've said is a fact that the latter countries are stricter than the USA. Still, there are the people that have been doing things on their own hiding in their government related to crypto.

As long as you can agree with their regulations and it's fine for you to build your crypto company in their territory.
That's the main point. The only problem if US regulartors are still trying to build the regulation bodies to be implemented for crypto soon.
And with those that I've been reading, they're going to tax it a lot. India is like 28% or more than that. To think of those percentages, it will literally make you think if you want to take those profits while them are just waiting for it for every individual who's gonna take profits.
