Some exaggeration though, I don't think that "banking system is about to end" - yeah they fall but there are the governments to bail them out. They are already institutions, part of the pillar of good government so I highly doubt that they are going to be obsolete. It's that the world is not looking for very, perhaps it was due to the leadership or we are still suffering from the effects of Covid as the economy continue to worsen and that's why there are banks that are closing down. The thing though right now is that we have an alternative like in Bitcoin can we can really used right now as they are a hedge. Maybe we could be the winner at the end. But we will have to wait for the bull run to happen next year as how far the price will go with all the negative things that is happening around the globe, specially the failure of the banks. $100k or $1 million? it's anyone guess.

I think there is one important factor as well,
- government are going to force it's population to used their CBCD's. What I mean is that if you wanted to transact specially in government offices, then before you can do that, you should have CBCD in your hand before you can proceed with them. And so it's obvious, all the benefits is going to the government itself and not to the population with this whole CBCD thingy. And when we thought it's crypto, it's not, it's their digit that they just made it digital so that they can go paperless and there are no benefits whatsoever, in my opinion.

Maybe the OP is referring to fraudulent business practices in the background, hence it's called dark secrets. This business owners deals with a lot of money, billions so most likely there could be some, like bribing and stuff like that. And by his example, it's the typical capitalist businessman, as he is prying and taking everything from the poor people.
This could be analogous though to casino operators as they have the house edge, so they are going to win at the end of night, by hook or by crook. But I don't think it's secret though, it's up in the open and we all know that casino is a booming business because of us gamblers. There could be secrets but it's all on the movies only I guess as there are no proof of casino owners going to the extremes.

It is absolutely crazy to me that half the people in this thread voted for Thurman to beat Spence.
This is going to be one of the biggest mismatches we've seen.
Thurman can't take body shots, he hates fighting at a fast pace and I don't think he can fight in the pocket particularly well.
I have researched this fight extensively and I can't see one way that Thurman beats Spence.
I think Spence stops Thurman in the 9th round.
You have to understand that some of the votes came from "personal reasons" disregarding the technical analysis. It's not even crazy to think of since you can't blame people to ignore how strong Spence is knowing he's a big disappointment for some boxing enthusiasts for not having the courage to even push for the much-expected fight against Terence Crawford. Moving forward though, I want to see the aftermath of this fight regardless of who will win. Lots of "what if" scenarios here that are worth to wait. Exactly mate, the votes made in this thread are not really because they favored Thurman and they believed that he is much stronger and skillful inside the ring. I mean, we probably know the answer about that but I'm one of those users who voted Thurman because of my personal hate towards Spence. Not just because he ducked the possible unification fight but also because they influenced the WBC to sanction the fight at 154 where it was supposed to happen at 147 as that's where Spence's belt is. And same here, I just want to make this fight happen as soon as possible so that we will know what will be Spence's next step and Thurman as well as both boxers have nothing to lose here. No risks involved except adding either win or lose to their records. It's important though for Spence to continue and win so that he won't have any blemished in his records. While Thurman already suffered a lost, but happy to be in the position to pull an upset if he can pull an upset. Yes, it's true there are a scenarios that could play in the future like 1. Spence vacating his belt and move to 154 lbs and chase Charlo if he wins here 2. By chance Spence lost this fight and maybe go for a rematch 3. Spence losing but go back to 147 lbs to defend his belt 4. Thurman retired for good if he lost badly as he doesn't have the fire inside 5. There is that popular provers which say, A drop of water can make an ocean. yes I believe is true because I gradually accumulated some SATs and now have move from being Satoshi owner to Bitcoin holder. I want to encourage my fellow newbie that you should also give your Satoshi full security because if scammers get a hold of your wallet, they are ready to always keep an eye on the wallet untill the day it will contain a huge asset. Don't wait until you own a lot of Bitcoin before you can take security seriously.
I don't think that anyone is belittle sats though, I mean it could be the smallest unit, yeah, but that's where everyone starts. I guess if you explore this community, there are a lot of tips and tricks on how to protect our assets. And just remember, "not your keys not your coins adage". Yes, 40% is indeed high and this is why he should really be that still careful or wouldn't really be that confident even he knows that he's on edge on knockout percentage
which is sitting around KOs 57.14% based up on stats which means that when it comes to power he has the edge but the difference isnt that too far gapped.
This is why its really that foolish if you do presume out that you would really be taking this fight lightly.
What are you even talking guys? Don't just look at the percentage but also refer to the opponent they faced in their career. 40% is a big number, let's say yes, but can we even look at those boxers that are being KO'ed by Santiago as a considered threat? Different from Donaire, some of the boxer he KO'ed was popular in the Bantamweight and some are even title holders. True, that could be the contention here, even the great Julio Cezar Chavez Jr has fought a lot of "tomato can" fighters to swell his record and even defended his title like that. So it's really the quality of fighters that they have face before, not how many of them they knockout in their career because they could have fought boxers that are not expecting to win or at least not on their levels. Bad comparison to look at their knockout ratio, specially that Donaire has face tougher opponents in the past. While majority here doesn't heard of Santiago before and is rank way below. |

bitcoin was born out of the financial crisis, we could even say it was created because of it so that people have a sanctuary they can flee to.
when we look at the charts we can see that during the time the banking mess has been going on and as they kept collapsing, bitcoin price keeps on rising. in fact it broke a major resistance at $25k which it couldn't break before thanks to the banks collapses.
i believe the more banks fail, the more bitcoin price is going to shoot up.
this year we could see much worse financial crisis and a much bigger bitcoin price rise in one of the biggest FOMOs that bitcoin has seen so far.
The problem is Bitcoin's price (in recent years) was strongly correlated with traditional stock markets, and Bitcoin reached its ath in a very low-interest environment. It's way too soon to be opening a bottle of champagne to celebrate success, as it is yet to prove that the correlation has been broken and Bitcoin's price is independent of other markets. Also, the recession hasn't even started yet. I think the good measurement stick is how big the next bull run will be, we have seen predictions like $180k++ in 2024-2025. So yeah, it might be early to say or to celebrated, but if FEDS are going to continue to bail out banks in the next year, then maybe we will see a massive bull run after the bitcoin block halving. And we have like 2 banks in US and then 1 in Europe at this point. Regardless how many of them are going to fall though, Bitcoin is going to be the real winner because that's how it was born by Satoshi. We've already seen a swing in prices, $27k right now, and maybe $28k will be the next goal, for March alone. Not saying that we are in a bull run already, but with what is happening globally, investors might be running to bitcoin to hedge. |

Well, that 4 game losing streak by the Nuggets really affected Jokic's MVP race. On the other hand, Embiid deserves it as well as he is performing very well in their last games. It will be a close duel between these 2 Centers on who will be the MVP now that we only have few games left on the regular season. I'd want to see Jokic making history though as the 4th NBA player in history to have 3 consecutive MVP titles.  If we compare the individual stats of these two players, we can see that they both perform at their best on the court. Embiid averages more points per game, and he's clearly a good scorer, while Jokic is a more universal center as he grabs more rebounds and has more assists per game. In fact, both are equally deserving of the award, although I'd rather see Embiid as the MVP of this season. Scoring wise it's Joel as he is the league leader, they are almost the same as far as rebounds goes, with 10 a piece, but what separates Jokic is of course, his skills to pass the ball. Same here I wanted Joel Embiid to win the MVP for this season, he is doing everything for his team, last year, he just got injured but a healthy Joel? Philly will have a good chance for the title. Although it's tough as there are a lot of teams in the East that is also capable, like Giannis Milwaukee and last year runner up the Boston Celtics. Good and close game between the Clippers and the Magic right now. |

On the other hand, Rosado first weigh in just below the limit at 173 lbs. And on the Diaz vs Gesta fight, Diaz come in overweight as well, 139.4 lbs in a lightweight limit. Almost but now quite for my Warriors bet and parlay. I watch it specially in the 4th and I really think that their chances to win at very high. Atlanta is missing their shots and free throws too.
But the problem is that the Warriors seem to be tired of playing defense and catching up with the Hawks. They trim it to 2 or 3 points, but they failed to make the go ahead basket as they missed their favorite shot, the three point that could really turn the tide in their favor. Steph Curry is really pissed off by now on how the teams are turning in the last games on the regular season.
I'm looking at the Sacramento Kings line vs the Wizards. It seems though that the handicap is not yet listed on Stake for unknown reasons.

No I don't think that there will be a solution for hackers, it's a crime group, we even have state sponsored hackers like the Lazarus group, so it's a organization that simply can't be stop just because AI is full blown right now or even the latest buzz word in crypto.
And there will be no policing whatsoever that is going to happen here.
Of course we love AI but I don't see it as the breakthrough that will stop cyber criminals. They are going to evolved as well and will find ways to step the game. And as we all know, they are always ahead and no matter projects have this so called 3rd party to evaluate their code or even AI to help them find any flaws, still this group will just bounce around and found loopholes that can be exploited, in my opinion.

I have the same observation that Thurman might get KO'ed in this fight since he is weak against body punches which Spence can take advantage of. But on the contrary, Thurman is also a knockout puncher. There is also a possibility that Thurman might find some weaknesses in Spence and beat Spence with them. In a fight between two knock-out punchers, anything might happen. So even though I think Spence has a huge advantage in this fight, I never ignore the fact that Thurman is also a good boxer and has the capability to KO his opponent. Yeah, what we call a "puncher's chance", if Spence will lose his concentration in this fight, even for just one, maybe Thurman will slip his best punch and caught Spence. Just like what happen to his fight against Ugas, there were momentarily slip and Ugas take advantage of it and Spence almost goes down. Tank Davis also mentioned in interviews that Ryan has earn his place already and he deserved to face him. (Whatever he means by that, it's open for interpreration), maybe moving forward he is going to be selective of his opponents or whoever he wants to face for the money.
Maybe he thinks he is the king and Ryan Garcia is just the top challenger for him. However, that's still underestimating his opponent because despite both being champs, Davis sees himself on a higher level. I hope Ryan Garcia will prove Davis wrong and show him that his current thoughts are incorrect. There are top challengers are well, we obviously have the champion in Devin Haney. But it seems that this two are really destined to fight each other, for the respect and obviously for the money itself. @mirakal - yes we can look it that way, but maybe it's the fault of the governing body that they have a interim champion that we didn't know and probably it's because Canelo is the cash cow and wanted more name fighters and thinks that Ryder doesn't deserved it. But Canelo doesn't have a choice now, he is coming from an injury and this is the right time to give Ryder his chance, beat him and remove that interim title for him.
@goldkingcoiner - Cinco de Mayo is a big holiday celebrated by the Mexicans, and in boxing, it is usually a "fight week" for Mexicans like Oscar Dela Hoya and now Canelo Alvarez, but it doesn't mean that the date of the fight itself is exactly held in May 5th, just saying.

At this point , Kings wining the West is not a dream anymore right ? I know the chances are low and most likely it won't happen but still , this is maybe the best season they had in the last 15 years of franchise and they do have a team that could go deep in play offs. However , for me , Bucks are still the best and strongest team in the NBA , followed closely by Celtics who are having another phenomenal season that could end with another NBA final. Absolutely the best season they have from the last 17 years I say, as the Sacramento Kings last playoffs appearance was in 2006 led by Mike Bibby and Kevin Martin. The 2023 Kings will most probably going to finish with the best record than the 2006. However, there is a huge difference in a regular season and a playoff game. Most inexperienced team that gets to the playoffs are most likely not going to go to the finals. The Sacramento Kings might be one of them, but this is definitely going to be the start of their long journey to get a ring, as long as they will take care of their stars and young talents. And that might be the thing that's going to hold against them, they don't have the experience in the playoff. So we will see which team they are going to face in the first round. It's going to be a a series obviously, so it's very different from regular games. And we also seen multiple upsets in playoffs. We don't want them to be the new Utah Jazz, very good at regular season and then because of their lack of experienced, they easily lost in a playoff series. If he will manage to take this one away from the monster, it is surely a good start to move up and
challenge the current champ on his chosen division. Actually, I want to see Stephen Fulton having a rematch with a much-improved Brandon Figueroa in the 126 after this match against Naoya Inoue. I'm sure Fulton won't bother to stay at 122 anymore regardless of the result of this match as that was already his original plan and it's just timing that Inoue decided to move up. I also think Fulton is not considering having possibility of a unification match against his fellow title holder at 122 lbs, Murodjon Akhmadaliev which has a scheduled title defense against a Filipino, Marlon Tapales next month. He is surely want to moved up weight no matter what. Can't wait to see the result of this match and how it will change the current phase of the Super Bantamweight division. If Stephen Fulton loses against Naoya Inoue, it might not be good timing for him because Figueroa won recently vs. Mark Magsayo for the WBC featherweight interim championship. Fulton should win 1 fight in featherweight before he can argue for a challenge against Figueroa. Has anyone created a thread for Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs. Marlon Tapales already? We should watch this next fight of Inoue's next opponent after Fulton hehehe. As far as I can remember the fight should be next month between Akhmadaliev vs Tapales. Tomorrow, we have Warriors +3 against Hawks, is Warriors ML worth taking?
The +3 is actually not enough. First, the Warriors are playing terribly in their road games. Second, Draymond Green is suspended. Finally, the Hawks stars are all present. If I am going to take the Warriors bet here then I'd rather risk it all in the ML. But, how I wish they put more money on that line because of the high risk. I did, hehehe, putting ML on Warriors and then adding Sixers ML too for a parlay. I just had to bet on the Warriors as they really needed a win and this will be a big test for them if they still have it with theam.  Sixers is on a winning streak, but to make it easy on me, just ML as well, Lol, most important is them winning and probably watch the game between Warriors and the Hawks later. and cheer for my bet  . And speaking of them, Joel now is on top of the ladder for the MVP race, so it's going to be interesting, him, Jokic and Giannis all going out in the last remaining games this regular season. |
