@stacycoin No premine. Other than that, put it out to the people to see what they want! And keep posting updates, great learning experience.

No one interested in putting out some options? I will start see what you guys think.

Scrypt-Jane (nfactor favoring gpu at the beginning and then cpu later in the coins life)
Hard limit, lets say 69,000,000 coins.
Reward halfing every 3 months
Kimoto gravity well
no premine

This is what happens when no research is done. Big ego=big fail.

No, big network directed to you (aka ddos)=big fail.

I love retards that doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about.

ddos lol oh please only a noob with no experience would believe that story. I read the posts and I know exactly what is going on. The dev released the coin with a slow diff adjustment. Oh my, like we haven't seen this before. Then all you "retards that doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about." decide to chime in and scream scam when you start getting orphans and stales. Maybe you should find out what is happening before screaming! You missed out on coins, lots of them. If you MORONS had any BRAINS you would realize the instamine opportunity and cash in. But noooooo you guys yelled so loud now the coin is being reset.

No I did not and will not mine this.

The main post has no wallet links what are you guys talking about?
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][MCR] Macrocoin - Next 5 Minutes on: February 10, 2014, 09:27:25 PM
Someone please help these guys compile windows binaries.
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][MCR] Macrocoin - Next 5 Minutes on: February 10, 2014, 09:24:20 PM
Sometimes I think they delay just to get more posts on the launch thread.

2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP PRE Announcing altcoins! on: February 10, 2014, 02:30:16 PM
I like the Pre-ANN, it gives me a chance to get my shit together for launches. I think they are essential to launching new coins fairly. People like me who work full time and have families can't sit on these forums pressing F5 all day. Nor would I want to.

I think what you are pissed off with the recent MAX launch, same here. Those developers are just dumb. They tried to launch a coin before they had anything ready. They set a launch date before they had anything ready. I don't believe they even tested the coin properly. How dumb is that? In the real world you would loose your job over a fuck up like that.

2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] CPU-ONLY, NEW ALGORITHM, NO PREMINE, NO GPU/ASICs on: February 10, 2014, 05:31:09 AM
There is already one of us that died waiting for you to tell us something..

HELLOOOO?  Huh

2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LTS] LiteShares on: February 09, 2014, 04:30:12 AM
care to elaborate on how it is a scamcoin?

Two minutes after the coin was launched chip99 posted the current mining info. At block 2997 all of the high value blocks had already been premined. So dev dumps the 300,000 coins he premined and make this liteshares worthless. Leaving everyone else holding the bag.

2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income methods (GPU Mining included) {QUESTION!} on: February 08, 2014, 02:56:31 PM
the 6 card rig is with 2 motherboards, 2-4 PSUs, 2 Hard Drives, and 2 OSs.

I call it 1 rig because its in 1 specifically air cooled box.

Good idea with the alt pool that converts to BTC.

Also I know where to get R9 280Xs at around 400-440$.

6 cards, 2 power supplies, 1 motherboard, 1 ssd, 6 USB powered risers.

you are buying too much stuff.
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MAJ] *Major Piece* *First coin to equal 1 Euro, no more, no less* 3/01/14 on: February 07, 2014, 09:04:26 PM
So who is holding the 1,000,000,000 Euros to back it?  Cheesy

Who is holding the gold to back up the USD? Who is holding the funds to back up Bitcoins?

How exactly are you going to keep the price at 1 euro?

2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn x10 your investment in this bitcoin 'crash'. on: February 07, 2014, 04:59:15 PM
Coin's reward structure:
Block 1: 400,000 SMC
Block 2-999: 1 SMC
Block >1000: 64 SMC

After I seen that I laughed hard. Once this coin has any value the premine will be dumped causing the coin to crash and leaving you guys with a lesson, until the next batch of new recruits comes on board for their lesson.

2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: arOpenCLMAX - MAX coin AMD miner on: February 07, 2014, 04:01:11 PM
Thank you so much, I am getting 1.4 Gh/s from each of my 6 card rigs with this. You will definitely get max love from me when I get home from work today.

2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][MAX] MaxCoin on: February 07, 2014, 03:49:42 PM
Well some folks are just better at writing than at reading. No offense Wink

Look, I did not expect to have to do compiling first in order to start mining.

The devs evidently are using the very latest Ubuntu, custom-modified with cryptopp-5.6.2 (the very newest).  Show me where the need to update to cryptopp-5.6.2 was anywhere announced pre-launch.

There was no way in hell that any Linux user could have started alongside everybody else, because every Linux user had to hunt through the readme's in the github source code, to find out what the stopper was, what we had to compile first in order to join the mining party.

And even then, even with the right version of libcryptopp, pool mining was not possible until 1gh independently and heroically released a fixed version of minerd.

The devs should have released versions of the maxcoind and maxcoin-qt and minerd binaries with libcryptopp.so.6.0.0 static-compiled in.

That they did not, shows either malice aforethought or abysmal lack of experience in Linux development.  It's got to be one or the other.

And where is the promised change-of-algorithm which will thwart GPU-mining?  Here I've been pool-mining for about 14 hours now on two quad-core machines, and have a whopping 1.3 MAX to show for it.  Big whoop-de-doo.

I didn't know that. I just assumed the linux guys raped this coin at the start. I guess it was all those mac users with their working mac wallets. Well, now that is a change isn't it? Normally the Mac guys have to wait for a client or simply never get one.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][MAX] MaxCoin on: February 07, 2014, 03:46:59 PM
This is some extreme level of scam. Now we have to buy miners to be able to mine the elite crypto currency of Max Keiser Cheesy

Developers who are not associated with Maxcoin have created optimized cpu and working gpu miners. They should be compensated for their work.
