2021  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: February 15, 2022, 02:11:28 PM
Currently watching ‘Wrong Turn’, the latest one. I’ve seen it before, it’s quite good. I saw the new Jackass Movie last week which brought back a lot of memories for me from growing up. It was worth the visit to the cinema Smiley
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To the Moon: Shitcoins are Ponzi Schemes on: February 10, 2022, 12:18:40 PM
Lots of alts & tokens carry a very high risk which is why the majority of them are extremely cheap. You must do your own research when buying a non mainstream coin. Obviously don’t invest too much in the less well known alts. That’s not to say you can’t make great profits from them but just be aware you can make big losses. I personally prefer to buy bitcoin, eth etc but tgere are many opportunities in others.
2023  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use Telegram? on: February 10, 2022, 12:15:24 PM
I do use it & I far prefer it to Whatsapp. I feel like my messages are more encrypted & private than any other messaging platform. Definite thumbs up from me.
2024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 10, 2022, 11:44:06 AM
My hand is up in the air too OP. I’m not interested in any of that nonsense, I have a few alts but the vast majority of my net worth is in bitcoin. I have no interest in NFT’s or any of that Metaverse nonsense. I know people have done really well out of NFT’s but simply HODLING bitcoin has never failed me, it’s my tried & trusted method of increasing my net worth & I am not about to change that now.
2025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: February 10, 2022, 11:30:36 AM
Staking USDT & USDC is possible on BlockFi, you can get up to 9% per year. I guess the only problem is the risk of them being hacked & your collateral being drained & they don’t pay you back. It’s a real risk, I’ve thought about leaving significant funds on there before & taking an easy little monthly salary out of the interest but it’s always in the back of my mind about not your keys, not your coins.

2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe we found a way to avoid taxation!!?? on: February 08, 2022, 10:22:31 PM
Best thing you can do to eliminate all risk is just leave India. Emigrate to a country with 0% tax on crypto. There are plenty around if you do your research, it’s not hard to find.
2028  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your phone type on: February 08, 2022, 09:32:10 PM
Probably not a good idea to divulge too much info here about exactly what devices you use. Most people on these forums are fine but there’s always the odd scoundrel who would do anything to get money that isn’t his. Watch your OPSEC please, there are some very skilled hackers here.
2029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a question about bitcoin purchases. on: February 08, 2022, 08:29:56 PM
You can't own coins if they haven't been mined.

This ^^

OP, you need to read the bitcoin whitepaper before you do anything. Give yourself at least a small idea about the inner workings of bitcoin.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Willy Woo: Bitcoin ‘Almost Certainly’ Reaching Six-Figures in H1 2022 on: February 08, 2022, 08:08:23 PM
I want to believe this but Willy Woo was telling us we’d hit 300k last year. I have lost respect for him, even a broken clock is right a couple of times a day. There are much better analysts out there with better hit records. Even Plan B was wrong though in the end, maybe TA is just bull shit.
2031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man who lost 7500 bitcoin in a landfill asks gov't he wants to dig it up on: February 05, 2022, 03:14:25 PM
This guy is still fighting haha. I don’t blame him but I think that laptop is long gone, it’s probably 50m below ground level crushed into tiny pieces. He must live a tortured life now, I do feel sad for him, there must be tonnes of early adopters kicking themselves about their decision to sell the bitcoin they had or even worse, lose access to it. Let this be a lesson to all of you, never throw anything out.
2032  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit Btc Mixer/Washer wanted on: February 05, 2022, 02:26:03 PM
Does chipmixer.com not do that for you? It’s the most well known, most trustworthy mixer I know of.
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: February 05, 2022, 11:19:11 AM
My portfolio is very low on alts. I am heavily in bitcoin & am less interested in alts. I have to be honest though, my reason for buying & owning alts is because you can make really high returns which I mostly always convert to bitcoin or fiat. I don’t believe in alts long term, I wait for them to pump & then I dump.
2034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin evangelist Michael Saylor says crypto regulations would speed adoption on: February 05, 2022, 10:43:12 AM
They can only suppress the price & ignore bitcoin for a limited time. Bitcoin is the internet of the 90’s, in 10-15 years the majority of the civilised world will own or use bitcoin, even if not knowingly. Bitcoin is the future of money & there’s nothing anybody can do to stop it.
2035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO COFFEE & CRYPTO MENU on: February 05, 2022, 08:48:31 AM
That’s cool so thanks for sharing. I remember back in the day these type of adoption stories were rare, not many businesses would accept bitcoin. It’s now becoming more & more frequent which is great for us. We’re still nowhere near ultimate mainstream adoption but we will get there.
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra/Diem is dead? on: February 02, 2022, 08:28:13 PM
I’m glad to be honest, Zuck’s cuck buck had to ask for permission, he didn’t get it & it failed. Bitcoin doesn’t have to ask anybody for permission, nation states can only ban themselves from it. Bitcoin can’t be stopped, indestructible digital property.
2037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Bitcoin on: February 02, 2022, 08:22:37 PM
Congratulations on reaching your goal OP. It might not seem much to many of us but congratulations. Many noobs will never reach one bitcoin so good for you. As time passes it might be difficult for some people to even reach 0.1 bitcoin. Try & save more, keep stacking, you can never have too much bitcoin.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT a trustable? on: February 01, 2022, 10:15:14 PM
USDT has been getting battered & FUDDED for as long as I can remember but it’s still here fighting & being used just as much as before. It is definitely trustable, you will have no problems parking your money in USDT.
2039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No..China Does NOT Have 0% of the Hashrate on: February 01, 2022, 09:26:17 PM
The majority of Chinese miners had to move due to the government pressure. China definitely doesn’t have 0% of the hashrate though, the remaining miners there just went underground & I don’t blame them. I would hate to live in a communist country like China.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40,785 Bitcoins transferred away from Exchangers. on: February 01, 2022, 08:41:16 PM
Hopefully it means there will be a supply shock soon & the price will fly up. We’re not seeing that yet though, we’re still in a downtrend since the all time high. I’m confident yet but would love to see a trend reversal.
