2041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Central Bank of the Philippines] Virtual Currency Exchanges with BSP License on: June 25, 2019, 03:42:37 AM

Good to know my country already prepared for the changes for the future. I don't see many stores accepting BTC actually, its not very visible when you are outside even in Makati City where the Bitcoin ATM is located. Adoption seem too far in out country but they are approving a lot of these?

I don't see reason to have several exchanges except if its going to be used for laundering, corrupt individuals in the country are always up to find holes to make business.
Did you guys know we have Anti-Money Laundering Council in the Philippines but there ain't no one that we've heard being caught despite the thousands of drug lords here?
2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason Amazon hasn't adopted Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2019, 03:20:12 AM

I guess the inflation is going to be one of the reason is that they only they want is profit from the sales and the fiat accepted by all. If I were them I would start accepting after all, BTC is just too huge to fail. It somehow starts to sound like a household name. If they are going to do this I guess they will have to conduct consensus to their sellers whether to accept or not. Probably seen it already that those sellers prefer the stable fiat.
2043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bounty hunting is uncertainty on: June 24, 2019, 06:40:53 PM

If they were supported by the big exchange like binance, it should be good and perhaps marketing ain't so much needed. There are IEO in some exchange like LAtoken and Coinbene but the team were still doing bounty just to make sure its promoted before the trading starts. Marketing ain't bad, its about making it known to the public and the more people learn about the project the more will be interested.
2044  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adab Solutions Haraam Exchange - Claiming to Be Religious But It Is A Scam on: June 24, 2019, 06:34:23 PM

Whatever their reason, 9 months of ICO is not what a normal project would do. Smart man knew they were scam from the start but just look the other way.  Bounty hunters promoted the project for a long time but end up not getting pain in the end. I know the feeling because I myself have been a scam to which I thought the team was very much capable. Only to discover they also left.
2045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: top industries influenced by blockchain on: June 21, 2019, 08:26:43 AM

Entertainment/Gambling isn't listed there. Among the first that had implemented blockchain are the casino sites, its alway been visible to everyone in the forum that gambling are the ones taking advantage of the technology after the finance. I also see Waste Management but I don't see projects related to it.
2046  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: June 21, 2019, 08:02:36 AM

Be careful when buying properties in the Philippines, there unscrupulous brokers who sells a property that has been sold already to someone else and they do it multiple times particularly to those houses that isn't ready yet for occupation. They had been doing this since properties in the Philippines aren't put to escrow unlike in US where mortgage payment are being escrowed.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Die Or Shine? Find The EOS Price Prediction 2019 on: June 20, 2019, 03:22:28 PM
EOS, this coin had become a prima donna. even I have participated in an EOS-based campaign, so I have to have an EOS Wallet. but now it seems that EOS is not in good shape. even if it must be said to be dead I don't dare to guess that now.

Price still looks good. Its not like tis worth just a $1. In the 2018, most of the altcoin prices including the EOS dumps, not a single coin escape from it. EOS has a strong team though and for few years, more developers were attracted to create their dapps on it. Most of them didn't even ask for funds. EOS will be great, $15+ by the end of the year.
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Members of US Congress already telling Facebook to halt libra on: June 20, 2019, 05:24:01 AM

Libra would be the first crypto that has a definite use case and will be known world wide, the downside is government will always try to control everything they can, a centralized and regulated crypto.

They said is because crypto isn't fully regulated yet and that I think facebook can understand.

Facebook wanna fuck the financial system?
The government will fuck facebook over and over but this will also lead them establish a clear regulation about crypto. This could be a reason to fud and so finally there is something to play to make prices swinging. Libra coin weren't yet created but the panic starts.
2049  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Board, Bumabalik sa Dating Sitwasyon? on: June 20, 2019, 05:09:30 AM
I guess people are still watching but they are not actively posting, if they have a signature campaign, that would help them to be active again.
The same thing will happen with the entire forum, if no signature campaign (bounty and btc paying), this will not be as popular as it is now.

2050  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Board, Bumabalik sa Dating Sitwasyon? on: June 20, 2019, 03:56:02 AM

2051  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-19] Bitcoin Price Will "Easily" Blast Beyond All-Time High Soon on: June 19, 2019, 06:04:54 PM

So facebook Libra's rumor has help made the BTC price go up to $9k, cool so now blogs seem to make it look like Libra the most valuable asset when its a stablecoin. Lee had been speculating the price since time, I don't remember him telling the right price but I gotta respect the enthusiasm, he looks at the market positively like bullrun is always just around the corner.
2052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason Amazon hasn't adopted Bitcoin? on: June 19, 2019, 05:44:45 PM

Part of the Amazon revolution is the shrinking of the earth, which means people can buy products internationally at lower prices and send them in a short time.

As is well known, Amazon only supports payments through FIAT currencies and traditional banks, this can slow down the payment process and means that merchants are charged. But using Bitcoin will erase, both of these problems.

In addition, the use of Bitcoin will also allow Bitcoin investors to access the giant platform wherever they are.

Problems that hinder the adoption of Bitcoin

The problem here is because of the lack of regulation around Bitcoin, not because Amazon is afraid of Bitcoin or because they are afraid of a lack of regulation, but this seems to be an Amazon case that is too big to adopt a product that can eventually fail.
Well, firstly, Amazon is not always as international as it may seem. I had multiple times when I wanted to buy something from Amazon, but the shipping was limited to the US area or something. Moreover, their shipments can be very costly, and it adds a solid sum above the thing you buy (especially if you want to buy something not very expensive, like a book. As for why Amazon doesn't adopt Bitcoin - I think Amazon is supporting the traditional financial system and vice versa, you know. Accepting Bitcoin is accepting decentralization, supporting financial freedom and dealing with volatility. Plus, it's probably getting into conflicts with banks and other fiat-related institutions, because Bitcoin is the enemy for them.

Yep, I doesn't ship in my country. I have to go to alibaba to buy something that can actually reach my doorstep yet even them doesn't alway allow it. The first time I go into AMAZON they were only selling online book but they have grown so much and I can already find computer accessories, they always extend to new ideas which is why its surprising, facebook lead the way to make crypto more popular.

When regularization of crypto will be done, I guess we can expect Amazon to also create their own coin.

2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Facebook’s Libra Coin be a Game Changer in Crypto Ecosystem on: June 19, 2019, 05:21:46 PM

If they are giving some Libra coins for free to any facebook user I'd gladly accept them all. I hope they integrate the coin into facebook like out accounts are also gong to be the wallet and we could spend it on facebook too.

If its a game changer, will it kill BTC? I don't think so. This is facebook we are talking, we all know how these big companies ripp us off, they will eventually find ways to get our data, I believe its facebook's ultimate objective here.
2054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best tips for who will invest in BTC for first time? on: June 19, 2019, 05:04:33 PM

You can just buy right away and hold just like a holder, best thing a newbie can do as an investor. Nothing special about it but since the price if always going up specially at this time that the bears are almost gone, holding is enough to get some profit. Some will advise you to wait till you see the price dips before buying, if you could do that its even better. Whether you send it to a wallet you personally own with its keys, it all your way.
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency are gonna disappear on: June 18, 2019, 04:51:42 PM

It goes together. If blockchain survives, so does the cryptocurrencies. The market has already gone this huge and it took years of development already, almost mature but nothing stops this market anymore. Facebook has jumped into the bandwagon too, I don't think any government shall ever stop it now, adoption is coming.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN CZ (BCZ) (new based on DASH) - new coin with only 2.2 Million Coins MAX on: June 18, 2019, 04:29:13 PM

After the success of BTC2 in CREX, they have to add another fork like this BCZ to once again make a buzz on their exchange. I find an abuse in this part. People were amazed to find out how BTC2 went up all of a sudden up to $20 each after being listed but this BCZ attempt is almost just as what they did this time. CREX must be involve in pumping coins with names started with BitcoinXXX. Shady exchange because when you get there the buy orders are orchestrated to make the price rise.
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Libra never mentioned "Bitcoin" in Whitepaper on: June 18, 2019, 04:06:50 PM

Its still mentioned here https://developers.libra.org/docs/assets/papers/the-libra-blockchain.pdf just as BitcoinFX  said.

I'm sure they will consider BTC to be a rival after all they still can be considered an altcoin. Its becoming clear that Libra is more like of ETH, same platform idea. FAcebook however have all the advantage here.
2058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]MOOZICORE | IEO-Music Streaming Service on Blockchain | Coinbebe | LAToken on: June 18, 2019, 01:24:44 PM

Updates added on the first post. Please take time to read. Exciting news for the IEO on exchanges namely Coinbene and Latoken.

2060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bull run due to Binance no longer serving US customers? on: June 16, 2019, 12:26:50 PM

Probably the reason. I wouldn't want to see someone pushing more conspiracy theory about it like more bankers opposing BTC are from US and were pulling the price down thru selling it on Binance but I guess traders from elsewhere are now buying more BTC, most probably from Asia.

Binance no longer services customers from US is just not a big hurdle as its just one exchange. There are hundred more exchanges out there that they can exploit. I guess right now the volume from US will be shared.
