2121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull or bull trap on: May 16, 2019, 02:05:53 PM
There is always dumps at every spike of price, so chill out traders are always going to cash out profits. Trading is their business. If the price disappoints you a bit, treat it like its sort of a hiccup and you can go along with it like selling yours and then buying them back to gain more satoshis.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia is gone? on: May 15, 2019, 05:45:25 PM

It wouldn't be fair if they just close without giving their users the time to withdraw their funds. From everything I've seen, thats how it works.
They'd tried to revive the exchange, to see them coming back after the hack is something positive. Its still got some way to go of course but without a fighting chance, they may close. I'm not sure what they exactly mean on their announcement but my understanding is that the Liquidator Grant Thornton will act on their behalf probably they will continue its operation.
2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice - creating an article on: May 15, 2019, 05:34:20 PM

Writing article is very challenging when all other writers had tackled most of the subjects. You will have to talk about a more define subject that should caught the attention of crypto enthusiast. When it comes to trading crypto its always going to be interesting when you teach how to use indicators. Surprise your readers about how much you earn using a tool in a short period of time. But in order for you to explain it deeply you will have to learn the tool as well. Which means you will have to trade yourself not just write an article.
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Tixl - Private. Instant. Zero-fees. on: May 15, 2019, 05:20:41 PM
The project still has very long journey because it has 5 phases and ico last Q2 2020 with total supply which I think is very little 900,000 MTXLT but by the way, what is price per token and does this use erc?

Yep kinda of a long road. Selling point is the no transaction fee which is quite surprising for a coin to have, certainly there are more questions to ask about the project. The comparison table tell similarity to Monero but the speed is a lot faster among them anon coins. All I can say is that the earlier to invest the better as you don't have to buy the coin for a higher price.
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptopia dead, shitcoins gone forever? on: May 15, 2019, 05:10:29 PM

Their website only says they are doing maintenance, they must be back anytime soon. They are not closing but just doing something else, maybe they are up to something after all there is a bullrun coming, it would be a big mistake to close it while there are profits to earn.
2126  Economy / Economics / Re: Why can't we have a good cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 14, 2019, 05:15:02 PM

One post that I remember in bitcointalk was the one which says exchanges that were once hack are going to be more secure and hardened because they now knew which to protect and they are now aware what hassle it could bring to them when their business is compromised. But if you want the safer ones, its going to be the DEX that you should be going.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens prices are decreasing? on: May 14, 2019, 05:00:46 PM

If its worth holding that you see the price will pump just like XRP did today then you keep the tokens. But if you don't believe the token will not rise for more than months, then sell it while the price of BTC still hasn't go to its ATH. There is more to gain when you move your coins to BTC.
2128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: gotsatoshi.com to reveal the identity of satoshi in 12 hours on: May 14, 2019, 04:52:05 PM
Its not going to be funny if they'd replace the index with the face of CSW after 12 hours.

Well ist a good marketing ploy so they'd be promoting new crypto news site after this. Its not going to be effective if they can't influence prices after it.  So Painews it is. Goodluck to them.
2129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WERE YOUR STOLEN BITCOINS EVER RETURNED???? on: May 14, 2019, 04:40:35 PM

I was once scammed, I plead to return my coins but he threatened me because he knew my name and address. They are from other country but yes, somehow they manage to threatened that they will visit my place because they have fellows livingin our area. That's the kind of people you are dealing with, this is why I'm not entertaining any PMs unless I initiate it myself.
2130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP rises quickly! on: May 14, 2019, 04:30:16 PM
Probably this one https://cointelegraph.com/news/xrp-tops-cryptocurrency-price-gains-after-coinbase-and-etn-rollout

Quote
United States cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase confirmed it had rolled out XRP trading to New York users in a social media update on May 13.

Cointele somehow post articles that sometimes does affect price Smiley
Don't chase your trade yet, the price may drop eventually so do wait after all XRP behaves that way. I didn't expect it to pump that fast, it would have been a quick profit too.
2131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make a secure Cryptocurrency for next generation on: May 13, 2019, 05:00:11 PM

A team from the forum  to act like an escrow for the project could be a good idea, it had been that way before where a trusted fellow will escrow the funds but I don't think a team will really take responsibility for it. I'm fairly sure Bitcointalk wouldn't be doing it, some regulatory body handles these already which is why IEO is handled by exchanges.
2132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming potential ICOs/IEOs on: May 13, 2019, 04:27:28 PM

I haven't heard of a venue where they list some incoming IEO but there are launchpads that were created for its purpose. I guess the platforms that will announce all these today are the exchanges. Binance and Bittrex has their own so if you have to look for new projects doing IEO, you should subscribe to their social media channel for its where they'd announce incoming IEO.
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is encrypted messaging important? Value your privacy! on: May 13, 2019, 02:18:41 PM
Well to avoid phone hacking, one should be using the old models, like nokia 3310 and others of that era which don't have a highend operating system. If there is no high end operating system then there won't be any hacking.
Gotta be honest, I wish we were in times like this again. People are used to video chats and growing their digital identity more than worrying about their own security / privacy

Internet already exist during those times. And rumors says that military allow regular people to use internet is because they already have something new that will collect data without having the use of these technology. There ain't no privacy these days so long as you have gadgets being connected online thats what movies were telling.

I don't have a favorite criminal though so I'm not aware how they are tracked but certainly if you live in the 3rd world country, you may not care about it. But I own some privacy coins namely Xspec.
2134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCNT] Bincentive - Mirror Trading Matchmaking on: May 11, 2019, 08:39:56 PM
Is mirror Trading different from copy trade? It does sound the same to me. I'm reminded of the previous projects of same model.

This your response Traders must also have a positive auditable track record and go through our approval process has partially answer my second question because forex trading has a demo account that users can try before using their actual funds but crypto does not support such.

They may be able to do that too by releasing test tokens to mimic the market for the demo accounts but this might just be too much of a work.
2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term plan for investment. on: May 10, 2019, 06:59:11 PM
BTC would only be for long term investment if its in the bull market. IF not just keep trading it with a stablecoin.
There are coins that you would only buy for trading which prices does swings up to 10%, it can give you profit for a week of waiting such as BAT but if you want to have a long term  plans, at least pick the ones that can give you higher yields and income generating like NEO.
2136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone who use mobile wallets? on: May 10, 2019, 06:49:40 PM
I have been using iconomi for two years and I haven't met a problem so far.

If you felt a horrible thing when you use mobile wallet you should explain here. What mobile wallet did you use?

Why did you enter it to dangerous thing? maybe it will be better compared you just wrote a negative statement without an explain.

ICONOMI is an asset management platform, its not a wallet AFAIK. IT does have a BTC wallet and so are the rest of the tokens they added on their platform. Wallets they might mean are those like electrum in mobile phones, I'm not relaly sure if they are safe but if you have the private keys I think its safe. There are wallets like EIDOO which is a hybrid wallet with an exchange with it too, you do have the private keys too.
2137  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: can blockchain.com be hacked? on: May 10, 2019, 06:27:01 PM

Probably. Anything online can be hacked, it may be in a different way like if there is someone in their office who suddenly got crazy and stolen funds in it. Or someone who is eats and breathes how to penetrate their servers, I always believe the security expert who said every thing that is online and are on the live server can be hacked.
2138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will transaction fees get in the way of the bull run? on: May 09, 2019, 07:42:31 PM

BTC will be spent like money everyday, its going to happen. Its not just going to be an investment that will just lie on the wallets, in the future when over billions of people will be using mobile wallets, we will be paying items to buy using our phones where soon big fees will be a hinder for us to spend btc. LN is a must.
2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: Time For A New Market Leader ? on: May 09, 2019, 07:12:20 PM

To me Binance will still be considered a market leader, it isn't going to just die down because of 7000BTC, it doesn't even affect the market. Tracking who hacked and jailed them may really be a good marketing for the exchange in the end.

They were the first to convince more exchanges not to support BSV, I don't think its enough for CW to be laughing now. Binance did more damage to them.
2140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quarkchain Help needed. Super massive losses. Please suggest on: May 09, 2019, 07:05:13 PM
Investing 5btc on an altcoin alone is freaking too much ,if I have 5btc I would diversify it in many altcoins ,infact if that 5btc goes on bch only you would be upthreading in profits

OP is just too late. He should have dumped it when the market starts. I bet he received a lot of discounts enough to consider profit from being an investor but he missed it. 5BTC would have been enough for him to profit about 1BTC for it. The project is actually great, it had been compared to big projects like Zilliqa which is also another type but then of course Quarkchain were hyped much as to expect rise right after the mainnet.
