Thank you for considering this.
But as I said, it is not only about me or about you or about people with at least a little experience. It's about newbies.
We can treat people idiots because of their lack of experience. Myself and a lot of other peoples got ''scammed'' and lost money and time because of the shitty altcoins.
I managed to get some reticent people into cryptocurrency, but after all this bubble of altcoins, especially after the beginning of 2014, they are saying :
" This is all bullshit... this will never succeed... There's nothing serious... Too many coins here and there... Losing hours to investigate and mining worthless coins.........."

In conclusion, this is causing more harm than good. Stop thinking about only you, think about the future ! We can't base a good future with bad reputation, this is as simple as this.

For the implementation, making people pay to announce may be a good idea, but generally, some coins are backed by rich people that will pump it, so 0.2BTC is nothing for them.
But that's still a good idea that will filter a lot of lazy devs and reduce by at least 50% the problem

Thanks.

Newbies need to read up before diving in. PLENTY of warnings and hard examples are out there and they are easy to find. Many will STILL make a trade with their "trade partner" having multiple negative ratings and it's not limited to just newbies either.
In short: If you want to spoon feed newbies then I am all for it but we don't need more regulations.
2422  Economy / Lending / Re: I Wanted a Capitalist Partner on: March 17, 2014, 07:15:59 PM
OK, I may have not explained clearly.
The loan is an investment.
We (you and me) will distribute benefits.
The percentage of benefits is negotiable.
I'm a conservative and realistic poker.
I guarantee weekly reports of investment.

I don't want to cheat anyone.
If I were a scammer would ask many more bitcoins.

The 0.1 bitcoins travel directly from your wallet to the SealswithClubs's wallet.

So, why would I not instead, gamble with my own money and keep 100% of any profits?
2423  Economy / Lending / Re: loan Collateral > question on: March 17, 2014, 06:37:06 PM
just some questions here Wink

if i where to ask for a loan Collateral is needed right

but most forms of digital Collateral are volatile as fuck ( coins and stock options )

how would u protect against that :>

seems like on most of the loans the person loneing is taking a dubble risk ( will he pay back if the Collateral dropped in value )

also who pay,s for the escrow service ( and is it possible to trance-fer crypto-stock share,s to sutch a service )

and say those share,s generate divident would that devident also be returned to the person or will the escrow person hold on to that as exstra profit >? )

Set the price to fiat.

Another .1 incremental payment made.  Record:  https://blockchain.info/tx-index/c73f5961652922d5a4976f224240712a7af85af1f922af751c530b2cf9cd0f96
Thank you again for your understanding regarding the PSU issue.

You can expect another .1 incremental payment tomorrow, and then an .2 payment in a few days after that.

Confirmed.  Smiley
2425  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Purchase from utanapisztim, now no response on: March 16, 2014, 05:06:41 PM
Fake seller is utanapisztim.

This was my bad for doing a trade like this on a trust basis. I wanted to buy several Hirocoins and the buyer would not send first and neither would I so he said split the amount in half. I sent 1/5 of the total amount which was 0.3BTC 24 hours ago and have not got anything in return. They said they had a lot of Hirocoin to sell.

They are in this forum trying to sell coins to people. I assume that they have no coins and intend to rip more people off.

Since this incident I have had two other people approach me to sell me coins, I have told both of them to sell to me through an exchange that supports Hirocoin and I never hear back from them.

Links? PMs?

2427  Other / Meta / Re: "Griefing"? on: March 16, 2014, 01:09:03 PM
Yet it's only "griefing" when the other guy does it, am I right? As was pointed out, you played a good role in this yourself.
2428  Other / Meta / Re: "Griefing"? on: March 16, 2014, 12:31:27 PM
The difference being there is evidence there to support my claims. Like I have said I have no problem with the difference of opinion. It's the pure lies, without anything to back them up which is annoying me.

I have made a couple if successful transactions on this forum and multiple on LocalBitcoins directly, yet I am a scammer? Without any proof I consider this to be grief.

Freedom if speech is one thing, and with tangible evidence I wouldn't be arguing it now, but defamation is another.

Post your evidence. Keep in mind it's not defamation if it's true. Butthurt does not (always) equal defamation and it is not one way, it can go both ways.
2429  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 BTC Loan - To be repaid after 1 Month on: March 16, 2014, 05:21:30 AM
Hello. I am the owner of RASR Prints (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=509200) and I am finding a loan of 1 BTC and I will return it as 1.2 BTC after a month. We had a very large order of shirts and the buyer's money is currently in the escrow. Our current budget exceeds the order of 300 T-shirts. We will need about 1 BTC to buy supplies and fulfill this order. Thank you.

What are you offering for collateral? You can't find the funds locally?

First, the collateral. If I have a collateral equal to 1 BTC, why won't I just exchange it?
Second, It is really hard to find funds locally because the interest is higher or the amount is very low.

Without collateral, you are probably not going to get this loan. Would you just hand over roughly $600 to a total stranger on a promise to repay?
Walk into a lending institution and ask for this loan, I'll wager collateral will be needed. You also may want to double check a local bank loan rates.

I will try to go to my friends and get a good loan (if the have money)
What kind of collateral do you need? I might have some.

Something you would have to ship to the lender or third party escrow that equals or (preferably) exceeds the requested loan value BEFORE the loan is given. Bear in mind the costs to ship.

Added a pic to prove that I actually have these.

No offense but I don't see how this picture proves these are yours?

2434  Economy / Lending / Re: [Filled] Seeking 1BTC Loan: 4 Week Repayment on: March 15, 2014, 04:05:39 AM
I have sent a PM to KWH regarding the status of my loan and requested a 48H extension if needed.
It seems one of the PSUs on a 3x R9 280x build ceased all function [Rosewill Tachyon-1000 for those interested].
This reduces my total hashrate to 10MH/s for now, meaning it could possibly set me behind on payment by a very small margin.

Confirmed. I see no issues with an extension should it be needed.

Thank you very much.  I have sent a payment of BTC.1 your way for now, and will continue to send incremental payments
if you have no objections to that.  Record: https://blockchain.info/tx-index/d149ed3b4b04ff0279d02bcded0604384c57c7cc0a0fbf397ea50373e7faac81

I have ordered a new PSU while I get the old unit replaced through the RMA process, to help limit the length of downtime.
Plans for future expansion are still in place for once this loan is cleared and repaid in full.   Smiley

Received. Incremental payments are fine. I've been lucky with PSUs so far.

Unless you are suggesting that *you* own this forum, your telling me what I should do is pretty lulzy.
So curb that self-importance a bit, and stay on topic.

Pot, meet kettle. Seems in your almighty self importance, you are telling others what to think, no?
Lulzy, I loled!

@QuestionAuthority:  Not sure what you are trying to say re: holding my balls and feels.

As I said, YOU don't own it. I did not mention Theymos.  "You don't make the rules" still applies as does the "quality" of your posts.
At this point, you are just typing to see what you typed, nothing more.

Promoting Ponzi schemes champions the Libertarian cause?  To outsiders, it looks like nothing more than raw greed and stupidity.

IDEA!
