2761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens After Widespread Crackdowns and Bans? on: May 24, 2021, 08:00:48 AM
the Bank of England governor recently said bitcoin has no value,
Those clowns don't have the slightest idea about the true meaning of "value" [SMH].

Also even if it were not banned, governments can monitor all activity because basically everyone uses centralized exchanges and the blockchain is public.
Decentralized exchanges have become quite popular in recent years and more users are making the switch on a regular basis.

Are people still going to want to hold it when the government can always come after them?
If they start using it in the right way [as opposed to hodling], then they don't have to worry about the latter part that much.

since all the wallet apps will be removed from the app stores?
Apps aren't limited to the app/play store. There are already other alternatives [I do know they aren't as safe as the ones mentioned previously] out there and more will pop out.

Regardless of what the future holds for BTCitcoin, there will always be workarounds when facing such issues.
2762  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANONYMOUS QUICK EXCHANGE] 🔥🔥🔥 Z-Pay 🔥🔥🔥 No registration✅ No verification✅ on: May 24, 2021, 06:24:17 AM
On your "FAQ" page, you mentioned not having limits for balances in cheques. Are you implying that you have an unlimited reserve for each of the cryptocurrencies listed in there?

Why there's a minimum top-up amount only for some of the cryptocurrencies?

I did some tests and it looks like expiration dates are no longer included on the cheque itself. How can we keep track of those within your platform?

Here are the main parts -
~Snipped~
Due to your reputation [new to this community] on this forum, you should consider attaching "real" images of those together with your forum name and the date on a piece of paper.

- Follow this: Posting guidelines for physical goods
- Use "Imgur" for uploading images.

I am trying to figure out how to attach a word document. It has more more details about the performance.
Workaround: Use "Pastebin" > Paste your content there > Click "Create New Paste" button > Copy/paste its URL here.
2764  Economy / Goods / Re: Comic book collection accepting offers on all or single books on: May 24, 2021, 03:54:09 AM
Cash is great any cryptocurrency is great also would accept payments to venmo or cashapp.
You might want to mention if you're willing to accept escrow providers [except me] from this forum as well.

Ill try to take and upload more images if there is any interest in my listing
You'll have a better chance of finding potential buyers if you move this thread to the "Collectibles" board instead.
- Move button is in the bottom left corner of the page.

Use the following image links instead:
- I deleted the unnecessary codes and got rid of the smaller-sized duplicate images.

2765  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MoonBuddy.io - Crypto Social Media [Suggestions needed] on: May 23, 2021, 05:31:14 PM
What suggestions do you have?
I noticed everything that we do, shows up on the Newsfeed tab so I'd suggest adding an option to limit who can see our activities based on the type of audience that we're comfortable sharing those things with.

The basic theme is a purchased one but im hopefully going to revamp it completely bit by bit until its completely different!
I liked it.
- You might want to consider giving users the ability to choose their own preferred themes from a list.

With the colours i'll add an option to toggle between light and dark. Ill get a privacy policy up as soon as I can total oversight by me!
That was fast Wink

Btw, what can we do with credits?
2766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wells Fargo: US Bank changes its mind about Bitcoin on: May 23, 2021, 01:49:50 PM
Is this just a whale manipulation?
The timing is a bit weird but personally, I see this as nothing but a strategic move by Wells Fargo.

and only makes provision for the rich to buy.
Larger orders = More/faster profits = Less headaches

But could a new announcement from the banks be the revival we need?
If by revival you're referring to its value in USD [and etc...], then you should look at BTCitcoin from a different perspective...
- The main reason behind creating BTCitcoin, wasn't to make it the next most popular investment asset out there and when people start using it for the wrong reasons, bad things happen.
2767  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I have BTC. I need Walmart and Green Dot on: May 23, 2021, 10:00:27 AM
I have BTC. I need Walmart and Green Dot
I couldn't find Green Dot gift cards from the following "gift card providers" but you have a lot of options for Walmart gift cards:

Note: I can only vouch for the first one on the above list [DYOR for using other providers].
2768  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Need feedback for my new trading app on: May 23, 2021, 09:13:31 AM
Please let me have your thoughts. What else would you like to have in there?
I took a quick look and it seems that certain functions are a bit too slow [e.g. getting charts data and etc...] while your list section appears to be getting its updates every 300 seconds [a bit long] and lastly, your trade section appears to be malfunctioning [hasn't been updated for a few hrs].

I'd suggest not limiting it to Binance + a dark mode.
2769  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Business model of crypto wallet service providor on: May 23, 2021, 05:52:49 AM
1. Electrum
Electrum developers also earn a small fee for transactions sent from users' 2FA wallets [TrustedCoin - check their fees] and IIRC, they were consulting on the side.

3. Blockchain.com wallet
There's also "Blockchain Lockbox" that they charge for $59.
2770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could eco-friendly pools like Terra Pool end the energy consumption discussion? on: May 22, 2021, 07:38:35 PM
And once we achieve 100% renewables-based mining, then the whole "energy consumption" discussion will stop.

What do you think?
That's a big if and personally [and realistically], I can't see it happening anytime soon [perhaps in the next 10 years or so (I hope I'm wrong)].

Moving to Green Bitcoin May be Moving To a Two-Tier Bitcoin

According to the article it may be possible that Bitcoins from "green" pools/miners could be sold for a (small) premium, as in theory it's always possible to track it back to the origin. This could give additional incentives for miners to move to green energy.
I'm sure it's going to take a lot more than that to make them switch to green energy and I doubt it'll be enough [short term] to cover the cost [in some cases].
2771  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Next Generation Hardware Wallet on: May 22, 2021, 08:00:03 AM
I'm not an expert by any means, but based on the listed features, this is how I'd ranked them personally:

  • Security
  • Number of currencies it supports
  • Price
  • Ease of Use
  • Touch Screen
  • Look
2772  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Would you pay for AI courses / software ? on: May 22, 2021, 06:46:59 AM
Would you consider paying for course, models/software, or just me thinking about a solution for a problem you want to solve ?
If yes, how much ?
Well that answer it  Cry Grin
Don't be discouraged by the lack of responses so far [this topic has been viewed only 19 times so far] and just to give you a general answer, you'll have a real chance in charging someone for a course [and etc...] if a similar one doesn't exist already on the internet for free or for a cheaper price than yours. In regards to your last question, that depends on the complexity of the problem [don't expect others to answer it accurately].
2773  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Teacher Loses Life Savings To Elon Musk Bitcoin Scam on: May 21, 2021, 06:18:43 PM
It gives cryptocurrencies a bad reputation.

2774  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [NEW] BitcoinIsGreen.org on: May 21, 2021, 10:59:26 AM
I read some of them at random and enjoyed every bit of it... I think something like a submission button would come in handy when it comes to collecting more of those.

Bookmarked Wink
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day 2021 on: May 21, 2021, 08:47:32 AM
What are your plans for bitcoin pizza day this year?
The usual; Order some pizza and paint the word "10,000 BTCitcoin" with some ketchup on it Cheesy
- I would've loved to be able to order some using my own BTCitcoins but none of the restaurants around here accept it [unfortunately].
- I'll upload some pics tomorrow...

I tested this out for them a couple weeks ago and was able to pay before hanging up. Let me know if you have any questions on how this works.
I'm not sure if you documented the whole process but it'd be nice to show others parts of the process [if you decide to do it again].

Update:
2776  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternatives to currency issued by banks and governments on: May 21, 2021, 07:16:57 AM
I think that if we don't build a decentralized payment system that can scale to handle an unlimited number of transactions around the world, we'll end up in a world where central banks of China and USA have their own digital Yuan and Dollar, and the whole monetary policy would be a lot more centralized.
You have a point but even if we didn't have to deal with scalability issues, we're still going to see the central banks [for most countries] trying to come up with their own cryptocurrencies, and that's simply because of the fact that they love having control over the supply and also how people [in general] use their currencies [be it a national one or a cryptocurrency]...
- We could come up with all sorts of new technologies to tackle that issue but at the end of the day, it'll be just a workaround since every single one of these alternative ways will be seen as a threat/competition to the main goal of those so-called central banks.
2777  Other / Meta / Re: How does the Announcements (Altcoins) board works now? on: May 21, 2021, 05:14:33 AM
I think there used to be a ''bump'' option.
There are still two bump buttons:
- One is in the upper right corner of the page while the other one is in the bottom right corner.

Somebody made a post on it today and it is on the 2 or 3rd page.
It looks like you're referring to another account and judging by the board in question, I'm guessing that a Newbie user might be the one that commented on your thread, so the following quote might be the reason for such behavior:
- Read: Bumping changes on some boards

Base bump power

Your base bump power is the smaller of these two values:
 - The activity you would have if you'd signed up 1 year ago.
 - The merit you've earned in the last year.

If it's zero (as it will be for newbies), then you don't bump at all.
2778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you transfer 700BTC back in their hands? on: May 20, 2021, 08:26:22 PM
Those customers are threatened to be sued if they don't take them back to BlockFi.
Does anyone know where I could find the email they sent to their customers?
- I'm interested in seeing the extent of those threats...

One of their customers allegedly received over 700 BTC. What would you do in response?
I'll return it but I'd also request them to teach that employee a lot of lessons [e.g. Lesson #1: Basics - Always double/triple check] if they haven't fired him/her yet.
- If volatility wasn't an issue, I would've forced them to solve your crossword puzzles first [all of them] Wink

attention:half of the money this package spends help charitable
Care to provide the name of the charity that's going to benefit from the sale of this package?
- It'd be nice to see some sort of proof as well.

2780  Economy / Exchanges / Re: With which spec do you use Bisq. on: May 20, 2021, 04:03:14 PM
~Snipped~
I used it a couple of times in the past year and had a somewhat similar experience; Based on my research, it was due to their buggy software.
- Having said that, I was still able to open my task manager and do other things while experiencing those stuttering issues from time to time so I'm guessing it might "also" be due to other laptop components [your ram is indeed more than enough] leading to bottlenecking problems. I'm guessing your drivers are up to date and your laptop has been cleaned recently [good air flow], am I right [might help slightly]?

Some of my specs back then [still the same]:
  • Ram = 32GB
  • CPU = Ryzen 7 2700X
  • Storage = NVMe
