It's worth noting that Trezor has quickly released an update [21.10.2] to fix the following bugs: - Differences

Yes brand new
Thanks but that's strange! I stumbled upon a listing [with more pictures] on "Kijiji" that specifically mentioned those were used mining rigs! - The listing in question, was posted a day prior to "your post [OCT 4]".
If someone was going to buy any of those, they would've overpaid by around $567 to $2970 [assuming that these were the rates for the new/used mining rigs (I do know those prices are outdated]] for each miner! - I don't want to point my finger, but it doesn't look good. Archived

However, the change in the red trust color is causing some misconceptions among some newbies. An example is this user. Based on the link you've provided, it doesn't look like that's the case [kontrakwel is talking about flags (he/she is correct), not trust ratings]! Any reason why is the forum red trust color was changed to orange?
Apart from Upgrade00's post, AFAIK theymos has never explicitly mentioned why he changed the color in question. There's no such a thing as an orange flag [it's either yellow (type 1) or red (type 2 and 3)]!

They all are under the guise of "anonymous" donor and for sure the winner could be "anonymous" too.
This is one of those things that I could easily argue for both sides... Despite how the majority of users feel, there's also a chance that there'll be a "real" winner, who chooses to remain anonymous for various reasons [e.g. safety]. It holds ~0.75BTC which is the correct amount since 25% is supposed to be sent to a charity organisation.
Actually it's slightly more than that " 0.77777777BTC [someone sent "0.02777000BTC" to that address]". don't you find 1 BTC a huge amount to giveaway without having ANY income from this hunt?
I wouldn't be so sure about that... It seems you've underestimated how much money they could get from the ads! though people who would listen to the music would probably be there for the reward and not mainly the music, but who knows?
I was curious to see the video but stayed for the music

but at least they are promoting BTC and crypto use.
But that doesn't change the fact that they're doing it in the wrong way [e.g. KYC for customers (not sure if it still involves certain transactions or it's now mandatory for all of them]. - Few other stuff [it's slightly outdated (e.g. SegWit part)].For all the other crap they do, BitPay is at least out there getting crypto into places for people to use it.
You have a point, but the moment customers see them as the only BTCitcoin processor, most of them [assuming that they're not a newcomer] would probably just switch to other options or platforms instead.

Blockchain explorers are practical, but they lack, in my opinion, graphical representation. ~Snipped~ I'm currently using blockchain.info api,
Back in the day, it was a different story! Not sure why Blockchain.info [or ".com"] removed that feature [yours look almost the same: e.g. #1 and #2]. api limitations are annoying (use a vpn).
I did use a VPN but still had a somewhat similar experience to @NeuroticFish. The only difference was the "Unconfirmed tx" part [it kept refreshing or rather shuffling the transactions].

how to make a deal?
Refer to each of their announcement [ANN] threads [every single one of the escrow providers, have a slightly different way of handling stuff]. I write to people from the topic list and no one answers.
Not sure who you contacted from that list, but apart from a few, most of them are no longer active [outdated list]. - Refer to the following threads instead:
How do I make a deposit
Wait for their instructions and watch out for impostors [you might receive a PM from them]!

Why would it defeat the purpose?
In addition to what @Pmalek and @HCP posted, I said the above line ["to a large extent"] because of the fact that the feature in question, is only capable of doing those tasks partially "unless it meets all of the above conditions"! The response I have have heard on Bitcointalk is always that there is no common standard for signing messages from segwit addresses. Common meaning that it's not used and implemented the same way by all wallets and service providers. ~Snipped~ To solve this, we need a standard algorithm for segwit addresses and we need everyone to accept it. Thank you for providing that information... It's quite interesting and weird that there's no consensus yet!

How comes there is a live chat where players chat?
Most of them are either a bot [directly operated by the scammers] or an accomplice of some sort! - e.g. Go to any of the clone websites that I linked on my previous post > Wait a few seconds for their "fake" stats to sync > Compare the number of online users + the 24h stat on all of them > They'll have identical results (after everything is synced)!
Update:So can we connect on telegram kindly?
I prefer to not use Telegram, but feel free to send me PMs

FIXED: yes this is a bug in there system that hopefully they can fix. So to clarify, my mycelium wallet lost my “account 4” which I opened because I needed a new address to send to for my online casino. All that showed when I redownloaded wallet and entered the seed phrase was accounts 1-3… oddly enough 4 was gone and my balance remained 0. I solved this by merely creating another account (with a different name because I feared data overwriting) and the balance appeared instantaneously. Wow… cmon mycelium!
That's interesting! Based on what you've described, I don't think it's really a bug [DQMOT]... I don't have enough used HD accounts on Mycelium to test my theory by trying to replicate your situation, but it looks quite similar to how you can't automatically recover an address [from the seed] that exceeds the gap limit on Electrum [read the "WARNING" part - @Charles-Tim also mentioned it prior to your update]. - Can someone confirm if it's supposed to work like that?

With latest update version 21.10.1 Trezor Suite now added option to Sign and Verify message in similar way like we can do it with Electrum wallet to prove ownership of a specific address.
I thought they failed to meet the deadline that they set before, but I was wrong: - Looks like the "Sign & verify" feature will be added to the Trezor Suite's upcoming version [based on the label, I think it'll be on "October 13"], so that's another reason to stick to Trezor Suite.
It will sign from Legacy, Nested or Native Segwit addresses (for Bitcoin)... ~Snipped~ - Electrum cannot verify signed messages from Trezor Suite using Nested or Native Segwit addresses, it will only verify Legacy. ~Snipped~ - Trezor Suite cannot verify messages from Electrum Nested or Native Segwit... only Legacy.
It defeats its purpose to a large extent when you can't verify messages that come from those address formats [apart from Legacy], on other wallets... Does anybody know why there are incompatibility issues? - Btw, you might want to replace the pixelated part with a solid colored box instead [there's a small chance that someone could undo/reverse it].

Is this site legit? Anyone?
It's not! I'm quite familiar with the person that's behind that scam... He/she has upgraded the template a little bit, but it's still pretty much the same as before, and usually, that scammer contacts the victims and tells them that he/she has access to the back-end and can make you the winner (if you bet against others). Here are other similar websites that are using the same template and content: I think, this site has been taken down by the owner or hosting provider.
It's still there ( Ratexbet.com [archived]), but the "HTTP" version doesn't redirect to the "HTTPS"!

I just finished reading two other articles [#1 and #2] that listed all of the reasons behind that move and from where I'm standing, it does look like they just want a piece of the pie [main objective] while mentioning a few other stuff to make it less obvious!
For context Estonia houses about 400 companies that own crypto license.
Maybe it grew too big for the government to really monitor everything that's why they wanted to review it.
Something like that... They've given more licenses in comparison to the whole of Europe: At present, the RAB estimates there are around 400 companies in Estonia, population 1.3 million, who hold a cryptocurrency provider's license, a figure higher than the rest of the EU combined.
Singapore, with a population over four times that of Estonia and one of the world's key financial centers, has issued only one such license to date, while the U.K., population nearly 68 million and also a key financial center via London, has issued 12 and Malta, well-known as a center for online gambling, both physically on-site and in the issuing of licenses to companies based elsewhere, has issued less than 20, BNS reports.

- Good or bad. Please share your thoughts about this trend.
I will wish many other countries to encourage mining so that USA will not be the new China so that the hashes generation is not congested in a single country.
Same here! I don't mind seeing the US having more hash rate than other countries on that list, but having said that, I really don't like seeing around 1/3rd [or probably more by now] of the hash rate being in a single country [doesn't matter which one]! - If someday, the US decides to follow in China's footsteps, the impact that it could have it'd be a lot more than what China had when it started the bans for the first time! But China can quickly make up for it if the government allows bitcoin mining in future.
Even if that happens, I don't think most of the miners would go back [it's not worth the risk].

In addition to @kevinovecka's screenshots in the above post, both of his/her posts were included in the link that you've provided, but it's a lot easier if you go straight to the topic instead: Archived link of the thread in questionI was in contact with Eckmar and he doesn't sell it anymore so scammers and resellers keep popping out.
I'll tag that seller, mainly because of the following rule by @eckmar [in addition to other stuff]: - After purchase you cannot resell or share this script
Looks like there are lots of plagiarized & paraphrased parts, so we could report those to moderators as well: - I'll include two of them, but you can also find a few other smaller pieces...PGP Each user can add their on PGP key which is used for multiple features. Vendors must have PGP and 2FA enabled before they are allowed to upgrade from user to vendor status. If you have active PGP key you can reset your password with it or enable 2FA for your login. Each PGP key must be confirmed before is linked to account, and if you want to add new key you must first sign a message from the old one. Messages can also be encrypted with user's PGP key if its present (this is not enforced, its user's choice). PGP - Customers can add their PGP key (used for some features, like messages) - Vendors must have PGP inserted before they are allowed to upgrade from customer to vendor Each PGP key must be confirmed with a simple guided process before is linked to account.Messages can also be encrypted with customer's PGP key (if present). Selling terms and conditions:- I'm selling only script, I won't help you install it,or whatever you want to do after you purchase it
- I'm not responsible for anything you do with the files after the purchase
- After purchase you cannot resell or share this script
- Script is tested for bugs but In case you find any, or any error in code it will be fixed with no additional charge
- I will not give you files first in any case. I don't care who you are, if you don't trust me we will use escrow
Selling terms and conditions: - Cost of the script: 750$ - I will not give you files first in any case. You can use escrow. I will deal only with bitcointalk trusted escrow - I'm not responsible for anything you do with the files after the purchase - After purchase you cannot resell or share this script

That's not a proper link to a thread on that forum [it's missing the thread number] and how on earth you were able to work for "over a year" in a forum that was created last month?
We guarantee no one will be able to connect the two.
How? We are dependable – we maintain a $7000 deposit on ~Snipped~
If by maintaining that amount, you meant to say you've escrowed $7k, then what you've done on that forum doesn't really matter [assuming that's the case, but I highly doubt it]! Archived

if i look at your screenshot and the countdown timer, then it is still like this... What do you mean by "the timer has displayed the wrong time after generating"? @ cygan is right! Go to the link in #4 [Ratimov's post] and open it on another tab, then compare the result [side by side] with the one that's displayed in #6 [there's a difference of a few minutes]. - I recorded a video to show the problem in question: Video link
- Skip to "09[minutes] 25[seconds]" on the first countdown timer > Instead of going down a second, it'll add another minute ("10[minutes] 24[seconds]") - Skip to "06[minutes] 11[seconds]" on the second countdown timer > Instead of going down a second, it'll add another minute ("07[minutes] 10[seconds]")
I already checked other alternatives [e.g. getmara] and all of them behaved exactly the same.

I would definitely buy your first original design [I can't say the same for the second one], but isn't that a bit too hard to carve with the hand? - Based on the slab sizes, I think it'll be extremely difficult to carve those in such a small space.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I like Windows.
Same here, but Linux left me no choice due to its compatibility issues with some of the apps that I regularly use. and all my hardware wallets linked up without issue.
Does it also include a Trezor hardware wallet by any chance? - I remember reading about its problems in the previous versions [8 and 7] and on their website, there's still no dedicated version for windows 11.
Last month, I was eagerly looking forward to its release in Oct, 5 but I completely forgot about it in the past couple of weeks. Just finished checking windows update [thanks to you], but there's still no update for me [I had to enable the TPM first]... Personally, I prefer to upgrade my desktop while leaving the laptop on Windows 10 [it'll be used for running a full node, once it finishes the DL & sync part] + I'd always have another option if I run into problems.

I think many of us who enjoy playing around with this stuff would like the STLs.
Here's the chassis without the inner shapes/spaces for the components: LightningATM STL fileNote: I only used random measurements and it still requires some adjustments (please don't waste a filament to print the above "invalid" 3D design [it's just an example]).For a valid 3D design, I have to know the exact measurements:
