2781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT could grow 35% by 2027 on: May 11, 2022, 05:00:17 PM
I would guess that there are layers to something that stays in the crypto world and there are none when we are talking about useless ones that go down. I do not know which one this will become but I am sure that it will stay here for a while by the logic of just ownership. If we keep looking at the ape type of stuff then it will probably not become big.

But, imagine what you can sell with "limited edition" mindset in the movie business for example. Like let's say when Marvel had End Game coming up, and they created an NFT to be released at the release day, that way they would have sold 10k NFT's, some common ones would be like drax or mantis or whatever, and a bit more rare would be spiderman antman and what not, and the very top would be captain and iron man for example or even thanos. Wouldn't that be the biggest thing ever? Wouldn't they make millions from it? I mean sure they made 2+ billion lol, but who says no to a extra 10-20 million more?
2782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins did you have (All time in your protofilo) on: May 11, 2022, 04:01:25 PM
Mine has never changed for the big three, and barely moved for the fourth. I had BTC, ETH, BNB for many years now, and I keep buying more of them constantly, not going to change anytime soon.

I see those three as my retirement fund and I will end up with buying more of them until I retire and hopefully when I am an old person (if god allows me to live that long) then I will stop and use that as retirement fund to not work until I die. That is what people do for their retirement fund in fiat, but rarely anyone uses crypto that way, they should start considering crypto as pension for sure. Fourth one is LTC but that goes up and down, I do not always keep buying more.
2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2022, 09:36:15 PM
City is known to spend an insane amount of money for these type of "we are going to do it this year for sure" deals and I get it, but I do not really see the problem at a lacking of striker. I get that they lost it at the last second, and of course having Haaland would help them there is no denying there, but I believe that they have been at the top levels of UCL enough to maybe try and win with the same roster?

In any case, they have the money for it and they will try their best and I am sure that with Haaland at striker, getting passes from amazing wingers and midfield, he will score a bunch, and he will be helping them to get UCL next year if the transfer happens.
2784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who’s itching to buy? on: May 10, 2022, 08:24:35 PM
Oh, I do. I am itching so much right now. I am on the verge of leaving all of my information regarding the crypto world that I acquired for many years and just go all in with everything I ever have and buy bitcoin. I know it is silly, I have been here long enough to know that I should be staying at cash a bit, and also not put all of my possessions into just one thing.

I could literally see myself selling my car and getting a lot of bitcoins right now, I am at that stage right now, because it is literally free in my mind. I know that in the next 1-2 years it will break ATH and make me 2x money, and nothing would get expensive like that, not in 2 years or under. Which means that I could get rich if I buy now, but I am holding myself from doing it in case if things do not go as planned.
2785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2018 vs 2022 on: May 10, 2022, 07:26:35 PM
I 100% agree that it is similar now. I used to say that it wasn't that much similar, but now I agree that it is quite similar to that year. I know that we are not down 90% or something like that just like we were in 2018, but there are some coins which are down that much, and the ones who aren't down that much, aren't far off, and the drop may not be over just yet, maybe it will fall even more.

I remember 2018 and we were down from 20k to 3k levels in a week, it happened in a whole year, we were around 6*8k until November and then it dropped under 4k levels, so maybe after the summer we would have another strong fall, who says we won't? There is no way of knowing.
2786  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC be used as a world currency?? on: May 09, 2022, 10:02:45 PM
Of course not. There is no reason why it should be used instead of fiat, if fiat exists there is a main reason for it. Nations represent their economical power with their fiat, it is not just so that you could spend money, if there weren't any reasons for nations to separate them from each other, we would already have one single currency everywhere around the world, it would be so much easier, everyone around the world would be able to trade so easily with each other without a trouble.

However, governments and nations need to extort some power into currencies, and with bitcoin becoming a world currency it would be a trouble for nations. It's a good alternative to fiat though.
2787  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Mortgages Let Homebuyers Keep Bitcoin, Put Down Nothing on: May 09, 2022, 01:36:09 PM
Considering the volatility of it could cause a lot of unexpected payments, it is not really that much wise to want both of them available at all times. I mean when you lock them up for mortgage upfront payments, then it becomes a collateral but it grows when the price goes up which is a great thing and that’s the aim, but what happens when it doesn't for months, or stays low for years after you start? Just like the covid deal for example. This is why I keep saying that bitcoin should never get into the loan market at all, makes no sense to me.

Let’s assume that you started to get loans in form of bitcoin one day, which is still possible even today, then how do you pay back with interest, if you can then someone else shouldn't be able to because it's limited and not everyone can get interest since it will end and there won't be any coins left.
2788  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Bitcoin Stands during a Stagflation on: May 08, 2022, 03:46:41 PM
Best thing to do during these periods is not to cut spending because if there is inflation that means you need to buy it today, in order to not pay for it a lot more in the future. A 100 bucks debt today paid in 120 bucks in a year is better than not spending that 100 dollars, and having to pay 150 dollars because of inflation next year.

This is what we are living in right now, if you do not buy a thing today, you will have to pay a lot more next year for it, maybe not every nation has that high inflations but my nation does have that type of huge inflation. So buying everything right away, and then just paying the debt, is better than saving and buying next year.
2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give Your Feedback About Bitcoin Today ? on: May 07, 2022, 11:11:19 AM
Unfortunately it hasn't been doing great these days, keeps dropping more and more. However, that unfortunate situation could be turned into favor in the long run which is basically just focusing on making a profit in the long run if you buy right now. Just buy it as much as you can, and you will end up profiting when the price goes back up.

I know it is easier said than done, but I will do it some more today and I will hope that it does better in the future. Doesn't mean that we won't be having any more drops, we could have some more drops in the future but that just means that we need to wait even longer after that because even though it may drop, it will go up eventually.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 07, 2022, 06:51:42 AM
Embiid will not be available for the third game, it is already said. I just hope that he gets better eventually, and they can try it again next year. They didn't have Harden all year, so next season they will have many games with Harden on the floor and they will get used to playing together and they should be able to win the title if they are all healthy and play well together.

There is no way that Sixers could comeback from 3-0 down, never been done before and this won't be the first one. Plus, I am guessing that there is a good chance Sixers would just let go at this point, I do not see the passion in their eyes anymore since Embiid has been down.
2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League & 1. League 2021/22 Season on: May 07, 2022, 05:58:12 AM
The turn around fenerbahce pulled off is what other big clubs wanted to achieve as well. Maybe Trabzon became champions, but at the second half of the season I believe that Fener played much better and they have a good future ahead of them.

There are talks about who they are going to get as manager, Jorge Jesus is a big name talked in the media these days, but Bielsa would have been better and he is free right now. If they somehow get Bielsa, they will change not just the team itself, but the culture around it as well. Turkish football is lacking pace and physical plays, everyone keeps dropping on the floor the moment you touch them, with Bielsa style they would be able to beat so many with so easily.
2792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 06, 2022, 10:29:05 PM
Anyone considering betting on ATM against Real Madrid? I know that Real have been amazing in UCL and in the league this year, they have been playing with that winner mentality and never giving up and that is why it looks like they will win any game.

However, they are tired after such a game, and they should rest for a while to relax and maybe drop the fatigue and lower the injury risk a bit, so maybe they won't play all of their players in this game. Plus, the ones who did play in the UCL semi-finals, would probably not be 100% rested so they may end up not playing all that well neither. Who knows what will happen but I feel like ATM has a good chance.
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs SOL vs AVAX vs MATIC on: May 06, 2022, 07:48:18 PM
I do not put ETH into discussions and comparisons with these type of coins. I mean don't get me wrong it doesn't make the other three bad either, if you really want to invest in them then you can do that, but ETH is clearly much better than both others.

This is why I would say compare the other three against each other, or replace ETH with DOT if you want to and then compare all four that way without ETH in the mix. That would make a clearer option. I would pick Avax in that sense because they have never failed to provide what they promised so far, which is a big deal in my mind, but they are still behind ETH no matter how good I think they are.
2794  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 06, 2022, 07:22:44 PM
What I believe could happen is that there is too much stress and pressure on crypto right now. Too many people either lost money, or they are waiting for it to go up again. Which means that there will be plenty of people who will be ready to buy, all those that got out, do you think they already spent their money and it's gone? They are holding it either in fiat or in stablecoins and waiting to get in as quickly as possible to make money as soon as the tide turns.

So, all we need is a little bit of push and we are going to see plenty of people get back into the market and buy and make the price go up very fast. We just need that little push, like go back to 39k+ for example, and rest will be easier.
2795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: May 06, 2022, 06:53:06 PM
There isn't a singular reason that market deemed it so. It is but a feeling towards the price that the general population ended up bestowing the results and their actions takes the prices tumbling down. This does not mean that it is a permanent state of affairs, it is only done merely as a way of showing for today, tomorrow yet hasn't shown what it could bring.

If you were to check the prices right now, you will see that it is not doing that badly, there is a recovery going on and this means that we could end up with a profit and a big increase in the coming days. None of it is known, we are just predicting and hoping that we are right, nothing more can be done.
2796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS and Cardano are better than Bitcoin on: May 06, 2022, 05:28:59 PM
This topic was created 4 years ago, and it hasn't proven to be true at all. ADA has been gone down, and EOS is nowhere to be found. This is proof enough that things may not be as it seems and that is the main problem. I feel like we should be focusing a bit more on the part where Bitcoin is bitcoin and it will never be replaced and nothing is "better" than bitcoin.

Sure, if you look at the tech side of things there are many that will be much better looking but the reality is that the tech is not the only thing that people care about when talking about this. There are a lot more things and Bitcoin is leading the market thanks to them, at the top place.
2797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin inventor Craig Wright aims at a trillion transactions per second on BSV on: May 06, 2022, 02:55:56 PM
I mean when you are mocked this much in the market, it is a wonder how he still keeps getting attention from anyone. Think about it, if you were mocked this much in high school then counsellors would probably show some "say no to bullying" videos by that time, dude is just beyond repair at this point.

I really hope that he would realize what he is doing and eventually get some help. This isn't an issue that would be fixed just by us ignoring him, he needs to get medical help that he needs in order to get his life back, he can't just try to live as satoshi when he is not, that is a sickness of mind and needs to be fixed so that he could live a better life.
2798  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed rate hikes too small to have real long term impact for the markets on: May 06, 2022, 06:18:09 AM
Taking bitcoin all the way down to 37k is not really that much a weak hand or not a real long term impact issue, it is a short term exponential situation that impacts the future as well. Think about it this way, if it wasn't moving then we would be closer to 40k now, and we could have gone up, and in a month or two we could have been at 48k walls again.

Now instead of that, we will just stay here for a while, or even crash harder, and then going to 48k again will take many more months. Not that it won't, it will break ATH eventually one day let alone 48k but it just makes it a bit of a further down the line instead of making it anytime soon.
2799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about CAKE? on: May 06, 2022, 05:34:45 AM
I do believe that $20 will be achieved I just do not believe that it won't happen anytime soon, it will probably happen in the future though. Which means that if you end up buying cake and staking it, eventually you will end up profiting.

This is why you should start thinking about it right now, in order to profit from it. Doesn't mean that you will get rich today right away, but who could be hurt from getting an investment in the close future, like in 2023 for example? Maybe it won't even be 20 bucks, but more like 5-10 range, and if you stake for a year from now until it reaches that range, you will still double thanks to locking your money.
2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 05, 2022, 10:15:11 PM
One of the most important parts of the game was when the 120th minute was getting close, City still had hard time building up a play, and when I saw the players in Real running like crazy to each ball and pressuring City to fail building a possession I realized why they are so good.

These guys do not get tired that easily, they were running at 120th minute to make something happen even that late, if you are good enough to do something like this then you are going to go to UCL for sure. Obviously they are talented but City was talented as well and I did not see the same fire from City players, they were basically headless chickens by that minute.
