1861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin cycles, this is the cyclical minimum on: December 29, 2022, 12:50:03 PM
As per the earlier start of bearish trend in this current cycle, I expected earlier bulls as well but unfortunately bitcoin got stuck into $16.5k zone for more time than unusual. This may be due to the threat of 4th wave of covid and another slow down of economic situation. We need microstrategy or elon musk kind of whale investors on board but that kind of good news are getting delayed due to fear of recession.

I agree that bulls' time is about to begin but it must have started already as we are in the last week of 2022. Anyway, this is not too late hence even bulls arrive in next 2 to 3 weeks then everything will be fine and as per cycle. Let's see what the New Year unfolds for all the bitcoiners.
1862  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 50% Down Move Incoming? on: December 29, 2022, 12:15:01 PM
If you keep spotting on, you can find lots of similar patterns between 2018 and 2014 as well. But, the bulls came to action at different times which may happen for 2022 bearish trend as well. In 2015 January, we had mt.cox collapse and in 2018 December we had BCH-SV fork and these 2 incidents led 50% down fall in quicker time. Overall downfall from respective ATH was around 80% and unfortunately we are already trading into that zone hence I am not expecting another 50% downfall from here before bulls get into action.

Like elliot wave theory, bitcoin is suffering up to 80% downfall in its each cycle from the ATH. So, the bottom for current cycle is around $15k with give or take $2k hence we can assume that we had passed the bottom already. This means, we do not need to be worried about another pullback from here.

Enzo is definitely a good player, but can we really say that he is THIS good? I mean 55 million is a bit overrated if you ask me, a team like Bayern would never pay him this much for example, but if you want to, then 55 million is not out of question to get a talent at least. Remember that these teams make 100-150 million a year normally, and 55 means you are spending 1/3 of your revenue just on a single player, and not a smart way.

However, if we are talking about 120 million??? That's just a flex and show how rich they are and nothing more. Nobody should pay 120 million for Enzo, he is not worth half of that money and it would be stupid to do so.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 28, 2022, 09:28:31 PM
I agree that Benzema was already healed, he was already training with the team before the world cup ended, and I believe there was even a moment when Ronaldo joined them to stay fresh before the cup ended as well. So, we all knew that Benzema was already healed and ready. Something happened with the team, and there are rumours of not just manager but also a few player names were given about as well.

I guess that it's not going to be a shocker to learn that he is back to form and could score as well on the first game to just get the anger out as well. He was just not wanted there and was sent off, dude could have even come back to watch the final game and rejected it, must be something wrong.
1865  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: December 28, 2022, 09:06:05 PM
I am already spending a good amount every day on servers and other stuff, I mean rendering alone is taking about 8 bucks per day and that is fully paid in crypto as well thankfully. I wasn't planning on this to be fair, but why does it matter to me anyway because it could be money in the bank that I spend and keep my coins but if not then I will spend bitcoins and then money in the bank goes to binance and turned into bitcoin, the end result is the same, I am using the product and I am paying in crypto and I am making a profit from it as well.

Not a lot of people have this chance of course and that is why I hope that more and more places are willing to accept crypto payments to make it work.
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 28, 2022, 08:45:02 PM
Doncic is seriously out of this world. I always assumed that Giannis was what the new big was, and he is the new superstar we have, but at this moment Doncic is reaching to a point where he is just playing way better than anyone else.

I see him as the best player in the league right now, not just because of based on stats, but because he could actually take over and entire game and we haven't seen that since Kobe. This dude could see his team not doing amazingly and just start hitting his shots and do crazy acrobatic moves and unimaginable shots and gets the point. I have seen him score points that nobody would have expected, I mean just look at the last second shot alone!
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about these hyped projects for 2023? on: December 27, 2022, 08:55:20 PM
I understand people who would like to check out coins that are not at the very top, anything out of top 10 (and even many in the top 10) do not look good to me and I understand people may have some desire to buy something that is very low ranked and ride the wave until it becomes huge and make insane profits. That's a dream many people have and because bitcoin can't give you 100x returns, it is understandable that people may want to look for that somewhere else.

I am not doing it, I never felt safe doing such a thing and even on my highest paid periods I just didn't feel like it was justified, felt like throwing money to trash. But, that is my personal opinion and I am fine with others doing riskier things, it is fun to follow them and see how it turns out.
1868  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The dark secret behind Elon Musk twitter purchase, he need to make himself “look on: December 27, 2022, 03:46:03 PM
Rich guy stealing from the hard work of their workers is not really an argument. I mean it does happen, that's a fact, but what could be done about it? If you want to get rid of the rich, then how could we have this many workers? Like even if we forget about Elon, lets look at Jeff bezos, dude is making tens of billions off his thousands of workers, and yeah that's bad, I rather have more of that share go to workers, but in that case they just fire the least profitable ones and tens of thousands of jobs are gone.

So you either let rich get rich off others hard work and we have tens of thousands of jobs, or you stop them and we do not have that unfair difference, but also lack tens of thousands of jobs. Which one do you want? Everyone wants a world where richest person in the world has a billion at most, and they spend the rest to either paying fair wages or hiring 100k+ more people but that just doesn't exist, it's not an option at all.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 27, 2022, 10:58:32 AM
It is important to note that Arsenal could always have some "hard games" that they end up winning, it's the game that they will lose points that should matter. City never became champions without a single loss neither, and they have been dominating the league for a while as well.

So, I guess that this race to top and to the end of the league will continue for a lot of weeks, it's not stopping anytime soon, neither will be quitting, Newcastle being this good after spending just a little bit of money also shows how much money matters. They were going down last year before the half, then got bought, spent money and now they are gunning for a title.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 26, 2022, 04:54:31 PM
If City gets Bellingham then it is game over for the league for a long time. They already have a great team, but they are getting younger as well, first Haaland who could be their goal scorer for 10 more years, and now Bellingham as well which would make them even younger and better.

I guess that it is going to be not so easy to just say no to these people, it is going to be quite hard. In any case I feel like there is going to be some sort of attention to this, and that will be quite difficult to handle in the long run as well. I personally believe that Liverpool should do the best they can, pay as much as they can, because it is not just about getting a great player, but also not allowing your rival to get him as well.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 26, 2022, 09:55:31 AM
I think he could just finish his contract here, which will end in 2024 if I am not wrong, and then he could move to Real Madrid that way? He must be working towards making enough money here that he wouldn't really need to ask for a lot from Real because he would have all he needs from the PSG contract already.

In any case, if PSG offers him similar amount of money again later on when his contract is nearly over, I think he will still stay there because he is French and what is better than staying in your own nations capital and making 60+ million a year? Real is great and all, but what PSG offers can't be replicated at all by any other team in the world.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: December 24, 2022, 01:04:44 PM
Bitcoin Bitcoin Bitcoin. I do not care who anyone says, it's always bitcoin. I know for a fact that some people will shill their shitcoins because either they are affiliated with it and a lot of money when it goes up, or even get paid a salary to promote it, or they just hold a lot of it and want to get rid of it when it goes up and become rich so they want others to buy as well.

But the reality is, bitcoin is by far the best thing we could see and that is going to be something that actually works for the best. Get yourself as much bitcoin as you can during this period, and you could make as high as 10x profit when it reaches 150k+ levels which will happen in the future.
1873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil passes law to legalize crypto as a payment method on: December 24, 2022, 09:15:02 AM
It's not a shock that not everywhere will be like El Salvador, plus Brazil is a huge nation with tons of illegal activities famously known, so much so that people who commit crimes in the USA could run to Brazil with the knowledge that they won't be sent back, which creates a bit of a trouble and tension between the nations but maybe it is designed that way purposely, who knows?

All in all I have to say that it's not going to be that much of a big deal when the time comes and Brazil makes it a legal tender as well, but as long as they make it allowed, that means it's not going to actually be bothering the bitcoin world, it is not for anything against us, it's probably against the big players, and protecting us.
1874  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: December 24, 2022, 06:58:10 AM
It will do decent enough. I am not going to say that it will be huge, or break ATH or anything, but I am sure that the recovery will start in 2023. I have said this plenty of times before, 2022 was the bear year, so do not expect 2023 to be a bull year right away, it will probably a year where we diagnose the problem, try to put some bandages on it, stop the bleeding and that will help us, it is not going to be healed yet, but it will start the process of healing which would be good enough.

I am hoping that it will do a bit better in the long run, can't say if it will be in 2024 or 2025 that it will be over ATH but it is a slow and gradual process to get there.
1875  Economy / Economics / Re: Car repossessions are on the rise in warning sign for the economy on: December 23, 2022, 07:42:35 PM
You know what is the most interesting part of this? USA is one of the nations with lowest amount of money required compared to purchasing power to buy a car, Germany another. I mean you could be a kid working in McDonalds and get a run down car if you want to, it is quite possible.

In fact, you could do 4 hours of uber eats or regular uber everyday for 5 days a week, and you could cover the cost of getting a brand new car within 6 months. Which begs the question, do people think that they should be better off not paying the car debt? Or are they really not capable of paying it? I feel like it could be the first, because they could get another car easily, a second hand 80k mile car maybe, but easily.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 23, 2022, 06:23:42 PM
Celtics are doing fine, it's okay to have losing streaks time to time, allows players to get out of that mindset of everything is guaranteed. If you keep winning all season, the players wouldn't know what to do when they are losing, so you need to have some losses here and there in order to make them realize even they could lose, no matter how good they were before, they are in a loss streak now and need to learn how to rebound from there and be better again.

This would allow them to seize chances and come back better during playoffs if it ever happens. They fought hard last year at finals, warriors is not going to be there this time around, they need to be ready for another chance.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 23, 2022, 05:18:02 PM
There were plenty of players missing because of "injury", Kante, Pogba, Benzema. To consider that they all could have played, then France would have certainly won the cup without a shadow of doubt in my mind, as it's football of course, with them on the field maybe Mbappe wouldn't have taken the lead and maybe they wouldn't even made that comeback.

But, it looks like Deschamps just didn't wanted Benzema there, and it could be understood if he doesn't feel comfortable with him as the manager and just didn't wanted him. Even the greatest players could be a trouble if there is a problem with the manager and they ignore them.
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy more ETH after reading this ? on: December 23, 2022, 04:06:43 PM
I have to say ETH has not changed as much as I would like it to change, I know that OP made it clear that if you invested long time ago then you would have made a good amount of profit, specially considering the top price you could have sold a year ago, but the reality is that we have seen a lot of coins that went up a lot more during the same period.

The only downside it has is the fact that most of the money went to miners, and not enough went to traders. It is second ranked so we all know how big it is, but how did it grow so much while still being outpaced by other coins that went up even more in percentage? That is mainly the miners issue, and glad we are at staking stage now because of it.
1879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Paxful delisted ETH? on: December 23, 2022, 03:28:54 PM
There is really no need to figure this out, because Paxful doesn't mean big enough that we should care about it. ETH would not be hurt by Paxful doing anything, not only delisting but they could come out and bash ETH constantly once a day and it would still not matter.

It just means that there is someone there who dislikes ETH and they just wanted to remove it for personal opinion reasons, but that is all there is nothing else to it. ETH is one of the best coins out there, second highest ranked coin of all time and we are talking about a situation where it is not going to be as easy as people make it out to be for ETH to go down a lot more.
1880  Economy / Economics / Re: A fact that the general public don't know on: December 22, 2022, 11:58:44 PM
I have to say that it is clear for me to end up with CBDC one day, and I know that we do not like them here and saying that I will get some will get me hated for sure but think about it this way please; it will be a stablecoin basically and it will be backed by governments and that means we are going to invest into something that has the backing of USA for example or UK or Germany whatever.

What do we have now? We have USDT backed by tether, or BUSD backed by Binance, is that really better? Bitcoin and stables are different, if you want bitcoin you will get bitcoin there is no difference there, but instead of stables we have now, we will have CBDC and that's better.
