3241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 13, 2021, 03:32:20 PM
Saw this quite late and it boggles my mind to think that in half of the world, people would kill for vaccines. In another half, people are getting paid and incentivized to take it.

I'd be taking pfizer anyway if I could access, not to mention getting a lottery! Antivaxxers I don't get also, they live such privileged lives.
That's the sad reality, people want to get their vaccines while the privileged ones resist because they think they're smarter than the doctors and scientists who developed the vaccines. The reason for the rise of anti-vaxxers is the fact that the critical thinking skills of many people all over the world has gone much lower compared to the last century or so. We have gone too soft and dumb. Get your vaccines and get that lottery ticket compensation if there's one in your city or country.

I find it baffling that there are people who refuse to believe the science of vaccine. I mean, science has already explained in detail the mechanism on how vaccines work, yet lots of people are crafting conspiracy theories about it.

Unfortunately, the only way to convince these close-minded people is to provide merits or compensation for people who are already vaccinated. In this way, even if they do not believe in the science of vaccine, they are at least motivated to get vaccinated in lieu of these rewards.

Sorry, it's my first time using this board and didn't know that I didn't reply to you personally so now I'm reposting my reply with your quote in it.

Hey, thank you very much for the swift reply and answer to my allegation!

Yup, I do realize that there are certain authors that do use pen-names in order to conceal their true names especially if the author's background has a conflict on what they are writing on. I also appreciate the swift reply, which implies that you have all the information about the identities of your team members.

Nevertheless, I wish you good luck on this project! Btw, you can press the edit function on your original reply and integrate my quoted reply their in order to avoid double-posting.
3244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Put this in your mind as you begin trading on: July 03, 2021, 04:14:50 PM
Your loss isn't caused by the supply of bitcoin or demand. Your loss is caused by you if you have done a mistake in trading.

You probably have sold earlier or you have bought due to FOMO.

I agree with this statement.

The loss of one's investment is primarily due to the fault of the person. Although there may be internal and external factors that may affect the value of BTC in the market, the decision still lies with the person and his investments.

Trading is all about discipline. Along with the given indicators, it is up to your decision on whether you would trade your BTCs or hold them for the future. Personally, I avoid trading since I lack the necessary knowledge and patience to deal with it. In addition, I only have a relatively small capital to trade so I think it's better to just avoid it than to lose any money.

Hi, upon checking the website of the project, I noticed that one of your team members namely "JACKIE DUTTON" is actually an author of a book. Apparently, her real name is "DUNNETT ALBERT". In addition, upon checking her other records, I did not see any affiliation of her regarding the project.

Kindly check the reference below and failure to reply against this claim would compel me to create a scam accusation against this project, thanks.

3246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 03, 2021, 02:26:59 PM
Donaire did manage to fought back to inoue but inoue can take punch several times and still like nothing happened. Maybe if ever there is a second match Donaire vs Inoue then Donaire will have a chance to win against Inoue. Donaire also have good skills in boxing and defeated many boxers. It would be very interesting fight if donaire can take more monster punches from Inoue then Donaire have a chance to win. Casimero is also looking to fight Inoue too.

Of course he has chance since he already know the opponents movement and skills. He can improve what he is lacking and pin point the weakness of his enemy. Donaire is a very flashy boxer that's why he can turn the table in a moment if ever he can land a pretty solid sharp punch on Inoue jaw. One thing I hate about Donaire and even Casimero are there arrogant attitude that's why I never support any of them despite of being a countryman.

I remember watching every game of Donaire back when I was a kid; it is sad to see him age but we all know it's inevitable!

During their first fight, the aggressiveness of Donaire can be clearly seen but his firepower was not enough to K.O. Inoue down. I'd still bet my money to Inoue just because of the fact that his tenacity and accuracy on his punches are on point. I do hope that Donaire learns from their first fight so he would be able to adapt well against his very strong opponent.
3247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If your country does not allow the use of Bitcoin, what would you do? on: July 03, 2021, 01:36:11 PM
It depends upon the law enforcing which states the violations thereof.

If owning cryptocurrencies is directly against the law which criminally punishes a person, then I wouldn't hesitate to dispose my remaining BTCs. But if the government of my country is only strongly against cryptocurrency but does not prohibit one from owning, then I would keep it. Anything that is against the law, I would comply in order not to risk anything.

In reality, I doubt that countries would punish someone for owning cryptocurrencies. Even if they see decentralization as a threat to their control, I doubt that they would implement a law that punishes people from owning one.
3248  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this a punishable offence? on: July 03, 2021, 06:25:28 AM
I watch them solve the issues and unfortunately there will always be situations that as you well know the casino cannot disclose. I don't like it either, but unfortunately that's how the law is constructed.

But they don't even bother mention what point of their Terms and Condition (ToS) the user broke. It's like police arrest you for violating the law, but they don't mention what law do you break.

As a general rule, for laws to take effect, they must be published in order for the people to know what the law is. It does not matter if they do not actually read the law, what matters is the constructive publication of it and its existence known to the people. In addition, there is no crime if there is no law punishing someone for it.

Just like what ETFbitcoin mentioned, it will be an arbitrary use of power to punish someone without even knowing what law/rule he violated. If the casino cannot disclose such rule but they use this against a person, this is just a denial of due process. At no instance that this must be allowed at any cost.

The issue of 1xbit is that they claim to have a series of rules that people violated but they fail to publish on what specific rule was violated.

Hi, in order to build a strong and reputable project in this forum, I highly advise that you complete all of the information on the project posted on the website.

With this in mind, upon checking your website, I noticed that photos of your team members are cartoonish without any reference link to their social media accounts. While this fact alone does not ipso facto equate your project as a scam, but it brings doubt to its veracity and truthfulness of the information posted. I do ho hope you post their real pictures so everyone is aware of their existence.

3250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: July 03, 2021, 02:15:14 AM
There are many gamblers who become addicted to gambling and sell everything and become financially distressed must play as a means of entertainment without financial expense.
I do not think that it will be possible to engage in gambling without financial commitment. You may start gambling for free of cost and you may enjoy gambling for free of cost but when you turn intensive then you might start spending from your pocket which is the point your economy begins to collapse. But, staying within the level of entertainment-only type of gambling is not possible once we get into gambling and playing for a while.

Is it gambling if there is no financial element involved? Take poker for example, I enjoy playing poker with my friends, but we can't call it gambling until we put money on the table, right?

What makes gambling entertaining is the adrenaline and hope of winning money in a given game. Without any consideration, it would be purely for entertainment but the feeling will not be the same compared to a game with consideration.

As previously mentioned, the game of poker will be converted to a normal game with just a winning prize. Without the involvement of risking your own cash, I personally think that it will not be called 'gambling' as you are not gambling anything.
3251  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Inflation only happens when Central Banks print High Denominated Notes? on: July 02, 2021, 05:27:19 PM
I noticed that every country that experienced high/hyper inflation, the central bank in that country has to print a very high denominated fiat note/bill.

For example in Zimbabwe I see kids carrying notes in their pockets displaying on them $10 Trillion Zimbabwe dollars. These poor starving kids are trillionaires much richer than the richest billionaires like Elon Musk and Bill Gates on the planet on a monetary unit scale.

In the US the highest denominated note bill now is $100.

So the question is as long the highest denominated bill still remains $100 then there wont be any high/hyper inflation worries in the future?

I think this would be irrelevant.

Inflation happens when there is an abundant supply of cash in the market with only less demand. Due to the amount of cash circulating, the value of the goods will definitely increase which translates to inflation. If the government opts to print cash in the process, the amount of cash circulating would skyrocket, increasing further the amount of goods which then translates to high denominations of money.

It would be irrelevant if bills are printed only as $100 since the value of goods in the market would not change. Instead of paying one coffee for $1000 (assuming hyperinflation), you would pay the coffee ten (10) $100 bills in the process.

3253  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: July 02, 2021, 03:19:54 PM
Haha, just like I said in the previous post, Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market, just follow him at least for the moment. But this wouldn't last long; they started to hate him.
At least if you go short, you also have some money. In this market, the more you panic, the more you lose money.
https://medium.com/snapbots-news/snapbots-news-review-elon-musk-suggests-teslas-sale-of-bitcoin-market-drop-again-cb7078dc8f00

Not can Elon Musk just manipulate the market, but his influence transcends from every investor which ultimately controls the prices of either the stock or the cryptocurrency market.

I remember, Elon Musk tweeted about his support on DogeCoin and its price skyrocketed. When Elon also expressed his opinion about BTC, its price decreased. His influence in the market controls the decision of most investors since they believe in his motive.
3254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent can sport be strengthened with cryptocurrencies on: July 02, 2021, 01:09:57 PM
we are in times when the blockchain through cryptocurrencies is entering a new moment for sports, before which and how far will we advance in this new scenario?

There are several ways in order to integrate cryptocurrencies into sports.

For example, for promotional purposes, sports may endorse a specific coin in the market which can attract potential investors or curious people about its existence. In addition, players can also share their experiences in using cryptocurrencies as their investment. But in my opinion, one of the most effective ways would always be sports gambling.

Sports gambling using cryptocurrencies is one, if not, of the most famous ways of advertising such. Many people gamble BTCs or altcoins in the market in the topic of sports. Most people would become curious about its existence that would further warrant its advertisements to potential gamblers.
3255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Quality Can A Newbie's Post Be? on: July 01, 2021, 03:53:56 PM
The first step in getting merits is evolving your post trend into quality posts. Now that you are done with this step, the next step would likely be creating topics/replies that gets the attention of users. Remember, merit is subjective but once you are consistent with your quality posts, then you would be able to receive merits in the near future.

As what some people have mentioned, getting merits is not about having quality posts. Rather, it is about creating topics that engage forum members to your thread. With such an interesting topic, most members would likely merit your thread.
3256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: July 01, 2021, 03:27:26 PM
I don't know why you still have make this post in the gambling section. I bet everyone is already aware of all that. I just want to add that some of the terms and conditions changes over time and it can happen long after you signed up. There are also cases when casinos made sudden changes after they were accused of something.

Well the problem with most terms and conditions is that they are worded very vaguely to the point that it conceals the true intention of the message. Another thing, most terms and conditions come with long paragraphs that are a chore to read. But I do think that it is worth the hassle and the stress of reading such terms compared to facing unprecedented conflict and issues with payments.

I think that there must be an innovation that could be implemented in showing the terms and conditions. Instead of concealing its messages in long paragraphs, gambling websites can make it short but concise. In this way, not only does it exert professionalism but it also gives security to the gamblers that the website is genuine compared to others.

3258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: July 01, 2021, 12:19:27 PM

-Why it wouldnt help? Of course on where tax does play a great role when it comes to countries development.
-I do only see Pro's on where development and progress would be there but only if those taxes had been used on the right way and wouldnt be corrupted or stolen.
-Percentage will vary because not all government would be having the same jurisdiction when it comes to this.
-House might really be showing off some increase since they had been asked for more bigger taxes but for sure it wouldnt really be that noticeable at all.

just like any other business, they should also be taxed. maybe the only bit of difference is that the amount collected from gambling businesses is quite large as compared to other businesses. that is because some of them are really raking good money esp if there's too much foot traffic in that area. now, it depends on the government how they want to get money from this type of business. definitely, both camps will agree to whatever percentage the govt wants. otherwise, the gambling site will not thrive and that is also not good from the govt, because they will lose their income from them.

Upon the determination of the government on which platform to tax, it evaluates each business on whether they are profitable or liquid enough that the cashflow is steady enough. Unfortunately, they targeted online gambling platforms since the income that these businesses earn per year is just mind-blowing compared to any other businesses.

As we all know, tax is the lifeblood of the government since it allows them to spend for future projects, etc. But the taxing power must be exercised with discretion because it also has the power to destroy- high taxes can potentially cripple a business.
3259  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: investmentmk.biz | Ponzi scam on: July 01, 2021, 01:37:12 AM
With the outrageous returns promised by the SCAM PROJECT, I checked the team members and the pictures posted are stock images taken from various websites from the internet. The project head was also a fake identity that they gathered from a different source, in which his focus is not on cryptocurrency but on insurance premiums.

All of these indicate that this is a ponzi-scheme that is GUARANTEED to lose you money once you invest.

3260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov must have power to reverse transactions, says co-chair of blockchain caucus on: June 30, 2021, 03:53:41 PM
You know, some of them aren't really the sharpest tool in the shed. Just search up on their Google hearing LOL. Putting the most incompetent people on subjects that they're not sure about.

If you're giving up your control to the government, just use fiat. Don't bother with cryptos, really. That is not what most cryptos aim to do. Good luck trying to block any transactions on Bitcoin though. I use fiat, am I complicit with money laundering Huh

I very much agree with your statement.

The problem is, the government is inclined to control at least everything. Without control, it threatens their very existence since they think that by having no power to control transactions, it may backfire in the future where decentralization of transactions may take over the conventional fiat.

Unfortunately, there are people who are just generally biased over cryptocurrencies. They do not even bother to do their respective research on the topic; they mindlessly throw misleading statements that prejudice cryptocurrencies in the process.
