3281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 23, 2021, 04:11:32 PM
In gambling, only luck plays a vital role apart from the player's instinct, knowledge, and gameplay for few games. Apart from these prayer will just help to keep calm while gambling which is also important while you gamble especially during poker because not always it will go as the player thinks.
Even if one does not have luck with calmness with them would do wonders as seen live on tables.

As much as we all know that these rituals do not affect the chances of winning, these rituals help us mentally and psychologically especially when a person is experiencing deep stress from the gambling activities. Although it is highly advisable that once a gambler starts feeling desperate that he stops, it is easier said than done. That is why, rituals like these exists.

Like what I previously mentioned, these rituals may not affect the chances of winning but they are harmless little activities that definitely help especially under stressful situations.
3282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: June 22, 2021, 08:37:14 PM
I think the dilemma that VIP gamblers experience in an online setting is the privacy that attaches to it. Unlike in a physical casino where they can have their exclusive spot for privacy, in an online setting, your information can never be safe.

Generally speaking, physical casinos offer a wide variety of offers to VIP gamblers which cannot be replicated in an online setting. While there may be perks or freebies attached, I find it difficult to take advantage this VIP experience in this online gambling setting.
3283  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Honest Invest - Ponzi Scheme on: June 22, 2021, 02:34:12 PM
<snip..>

I think the problem stems from offering a minimum withdrawal of BTCs for your offers with promises of ROIs in return. I find it very confusing that you offer these packages but you added on your disclaimer that there is that CHANCE of losing your money in the investment.

I mean, what is the point of this? The ROIs that you posted looks promising and eye-catching but with that added risk, it completely eliminates its purpose.

3285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Bitraderxpay.ltd Ponzi Project on: June 21, 2021, 08:17:24 AM
Yep, clear ponzi scheme, and pretty basic one! But as we know, even that is enough for newbies to get scammed, it doesn't have to be some elaborate scheme.

@Leviathan.007 one suggestion, as I see that images you shared have messed up ratio: when you are adjusting image size, it's enough to adjust either height or width, and the other parameter will adjust accordingly. That way you will preserve normal image ratio, so it won't be a little bit "off" like it is now. So in this case, "img width=750" or "img height=700" would do the trick.

In addition to the suggestion posted by @Rikaflip, I also I highly suggest this website, POSTIMAGES.COM, when posting photos or images since it already offers resize options to save you the hassle of adjusting its size for your convenience. Check the photo below!

3286  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel happy on getting merits ? on: June 20, 2021, 06:10:26 PM
I login my account and if i see my merit count increase, i quickly move to my merit section to see which of my post was merited and who gave me merit.
It gives a sense of pleasure and happiness on getting merits and for the whole day i remain full of joy.

Do you guys have similar feelings when your post get merited ?

Oh definitely! I mean, it makes me happy to see that someone merited my post because I know that I made an actual contribution to the forum.

To be honest, before the merit implementation in the forum, all I cared was to rank-up my account and comply with the requirements stipulated in the campaign signatures. After the said implementation, I realized that I needed to create post valuable to the forum for the benefit of the whole community. I started reporting scam ICO projects and it made me happy to see that I am helping others avoid the same mistake that I committed (investing in a ponzi).
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Auto Deduct System on: June 20, 2021, 06:03:15 PM
What do you think of an AutoDeduct System of a Gambling Platform? Says you just connect your wallet like for example on a Dice Game, then it will just roll itself everytime it sees some funds on your wallet whatever coins it was until you are left with Zero ( Funds withdrawn or Funds gets Zero?)

This kind of feature should be implemented with a condition on whether you should activate such feature or not, or else, this will become totally unfair for the gambler in handling his money.

Having an "auto deduct system" will definitely favour the online gambling platform as this will guarantee them money. This will also give them absolute power to meddle with the funds of a person by compelling the system to gamble their remaining funds.

If the idea behind this feature is for the purpose of convenience, then I do not think that anyone would risk losing their money for such a little convenience.
3288  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hero today, it's been all fun right from the start. on: June 20, 2021, 01:02:20 PM

You very much deserve everything that made you here. You did this with your hard work and patience. You belong to the group where you make a good example through the newbies here in this forum. 3289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 20, 2021, 11:13:07 AM
I know its an individual thing, but if you are in an alt and it is pumping...when is the best time to sell? I feel as though every-time I am in a coin that starts to make some good gain I leave it to long to sell..Anyone else do that. I heard it is because of greed, we star imagining all things we can do with our new profits, but the longer we leave it the more chance of not making good profits. Does anyone have a good strategy for knowing when to sell?

You actually answered your own question: it depends upon the individual.

Generally, there are certain indicators in the market that will tell you when is the time to acquire/sell your coins. Same in stocks, you must be updated both in the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that will help you arrive at a decision. In addition, you must also determine what price you should stop HODLing your coins in order to prevent further loss.

There is no absolute solution and indicator for this. Everything will depend upon your own decision and goal from the very beginning.
3290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please motivate me! How to get high rank? on: June 20, 2021, 04:35:53 AM
I need advice and motivation of all senior and expert members present on this platform how can we achieve high rank.
Every member present on this platform give your opinion and tell one by one tips how we can easily achieve high rank?
Does High and Low Rank Affect Our Pay?

What's the purpose of you achieving a higher rank on this forum? Is it primarily to enable you to participate in campaign signatures? If that is the case, then chances are you are not going to rank up.

In order to rank up, you need merits that people would commend you on the threads that you post. If you mindlessly post about nothing but nonsense or spam in the forum, then I doubt you'll ever receive one. Remove that mindset of ranking up and instead, focus on creating useful threads that will benefit the community. The more you think about actual contribution, the more that your post quality will improve.
3291  Other / Archival / Re: BUY & HODL - is the surest strategy for crypto beginners on: June 19, 2021, 04:57:14 PM
That's what I am still using now even though I have been on this scene for a really long time and I gotta say that it's pretty effective especially if you have a lot of bitcoin and you sold it at a really big price which results in big profits.

This is easier said than done especially if you're holding lots of bitcoin in your wallet.

If you're someone who holds more than like 1 BTC inside your wallet, the slightest increase/decrease on the value of your bitcoin will control your decision whether to cash them or not. Imagine, even the slightest decrease on its value, you're talking about losing thousands of dollars in your wallet. That is why, if you were to decide to HODL your bitcoins, you must have a definite plan on when to exit or cash out your investments before it losses its value even more.
3292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 19, 2021, 02:18:51 PM
Lets stop comparing about Mayweather fights on this one because it is just way too far off when it comes to entertainment factor and of course this one is a real fight not that exhibition clown thing fights which is obviously setting up for making bucks.

Very well said, we are talking of a real entertaining fight here, so we should not include Mayweather in the discussion as we know his fights are boring, though he made a lot of money, that's our opinion, he is really boring. This fight is going to be one of the greatest fights in the history of boxing, and we can always look back to this fight when Manny retires, and I'm sure they will not fail us, they will give a very exciting fight to watch.

I mean from the name of the fight itself, it was an 'exhibition match' which greatly implies that no seriousness is on the line.

This fight may be one of the biggest fights this year as we all know, Pacquiao always puts everything on the line in his fights. As someone who grew up watching his fights, I expect nothing but greatness and fierceness especially that he will be against one of the greatest fighters in this weigh division. Almost everyone who predicts in this fight that Pacquiao will lose, but nothing can ever match up his competitiveness.

3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling is the worst piece of shit you can imagine on: June 18, 2021, 09:23:09 PM
This shouldn't be a problem to your case; then don't use crypto for gambling then, it is a simple solution!

People who gamble using cryptocurrencies are aware of the fees when withdrawing their winnings. Unfortunately, with the rise of its value in the market, the fees also have increased resulting to high withdrawal fees to compensate the miners. If this bothers you so much, then avoid gambling using BTC. This is one of the consequences and most people are aware of it.
3295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 17, 2021, 10:25:59 PM
One effect of the high taxes: Maybe the high taxes a meant to discourage Gamblers from playing a lot because this pandemic can turn users into addicts and this is one way to slow the process down.

The other effect from these high rates is going completely anonymous which means a missed opportunity for the government to collect revenue from gamblers as they will find alternative places to play the games they love.

I do support this view.

The taxing power is limitless as it is one of the three (3) inherent powers of the government where they can exercise it for revenue or preventive measures. The twenty percent (20%) excise tax is imposed primarily to discourage the people from gambling due to its negative effects in the society. While this measure is not an absolute guarantee that businesses will opt not to enter the gambling industry, it is nevertheless a revenue measure for the government that will enable them to create projects from such revenue.

Opening a flag on the accused for the same. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2768

Hi, thanks for creating the flag! I almost forgot to create it against the OP but all of the evidences presented conclude that this project is most likely to be a scam. Im editing the thread now and with the flag that you posted. Thanks again!

Good find OP. It is not clear how they were not caught back in February. CryptocoinOrg has been promoting this project since February and has managed to go unnoticed until now. I've seen him before, and I'm not sure if this "team" was there. I might think that it was added recently.
In any case, we again do not see any explanations that the site is under construction, especially since we see regular advertising of this site.
The flag is supported.

It is kinda weird on how the project operated as early as February. I also feared that there might be some casualties already to this project and I do hope that others will support the flag as well for their exposure. Thanks!

Hi, just a quick question:

Do you have an idea as to the real identity of the team members behind the project? I mean, I do not understand on why the pictures of the team are all cartoonish where they can just omit the idea of putting a 'team member's page' and everything will be okay.

Since a team member's page is posted, I do think it's your duty to disclose their respective identities together with any of their reference link, if any. It just gives me this doubt of questioning if this project is real or not.
3298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: June 17, 2021, 06:37:43 AM
Emotions is very crucial, without controlling it can lead you to the worse point of being a gambler.

I think this is the most difficult thing to train him. People who can regulate emotions well are great people. When we are profitable we want to continue playing, when we are losing we want to return it immediately. This is what happens a lot and I think this is a problem for a lot of people nowadays.

More often, our emotions cloud our judgement from doing the right thing. If this is the case, it is better to step back and to re-evaluate the situation rather than acting upon your emotions immediately.

Gambling involves emotions that could boost your adrenaline and regret at the same time. You have this feeling where there is the need to recover your losses or the feeling where you have to bet again and take the risk.

Like what I previously mentioned, this is easier said than done especially if you are on the end of the spectrum. That is why, prevention is better than cure. Avoid yourself putting into a situation where there is lots of risk involves with huge amounts of cash.
