481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAT profit through Brave ads on: February 25, 2023, 08:11:29 PM
Hey, altcoins' enthusiasts! Brave is a decent browser to block ads, remain anonymous and to make a little extra income by viewing ads which appear randomly during your internet browsing session. Do you use this feature? Is it being profitable for you? What is your feedback?
I think I'm using it for 2 years, or maybe almost 3 years. So far I haven't withdrawn or swaped any BATs from my wallet. Almost extra 25$ made through it, potentially reaching a higher sum of money if BAT does well on the next bull season.
Would you hold or sell? What is your take on BAT?

I think that i am using the brave browser now for around the amount of time as you. So far i have 94 Bat collected from displayed ads within the browser. If i remember correctly, then the price for 1 BAT was at around 1 Dollar during the last bullrun so then my earnigs would be almost 100$ withing two years from just using a browser that i would need to use anyway. So i would say that is definitely not to bad.
I have noticed though that since january of this year or so i am not receiving rewards anymore because they have changed something and now you have to connect your account in order to continue to earn BAT by watching ads.
The problem for me is that in my country both account providers that Brave is offering do not work in my country (Germany). I still use the browser because it works like a charm.

A very spectacular game by both Dortmund and Hoffenheim, both could have gone home with a point but Dortmund steals all point to take them 3 points top of the league. Dortmund have been spectacular this year and this 9 wins has proven why they are top after been 9 points off Bayern pre World Cup. Their next game will be crucial against Leipzig, should they win then I see them going toe to toe with Bayern for this one.
Hoffenheim might felt that they were hard done today. They were pushing throughout the game but kobel denied them points. Should they put up performances like this then they could have a chance for survival

I don't want to sound like a Dortmund hater, but i watched most of the games that Borussia Dortmund has played in this year so far and which they have all won and i have to say that i think that Dortmund is extremely lucky that they have really won all of those games because in at least 4 out of those 9 games they were definitely not the better team. For example today against Hoffenheim, also last weekend against Hertha BSC Berlin or against Leverkusen and in the Champions League game against Dortmund it was the same.
Sooner or later that luck will run out though i think. I am interested to see them play against Leipzig next week.

Leipzig manager seems too optimistic about Gvardiol to stay here for next season as well. But I think there is no way this is happening. Dortmund couldn't keep Haaland for a longer time for example. Gvardiol is another big talent in defense and I believe his future will be the same as well. It is just difficult to predict the team that he can go to. There are already a couple of big teams interested in signing him. The Premier League teams seem likely to sign him for now.
But this can change anytime if a team like Real Madrid make an offer for him. Real Madrid are quite interested in such young talents actually. Hence I wouldn't be surprised if they enter the race for him as well.

I am not so sure that Gvardiol will definitely leave RB Leipzig after this season already. I mean obviously, almost every big club is now aware of him and wants to sign him for their squad because he definitely is one of the best central backs of the world at the moment and he only is 21 years old and probably isn't even at 100% yet. That being said, he just prolonged his contract with RB Leipzig in September of 2022 and his contract is now running until the end of 2027. I would guess though, that his contract has some clause in it that he can leave Leipzig if another club is willing to pay a certain amount of money.
I still think that it would be good for Gvardiol if he would play at least one more season for Leipzig. There are a lot of examples of young and talented players that moved to big clubs to early and never really made it then.

Real Madrid is a tricky team. And their coach Ancelotti is very experienced. He knows how to play strategically in the Champions League and his team will get good results. Real Madrid won the first leg 5-2. And so it is very difficult for Liverpool to win the second leg by such a margin. And beating Madrid at the Bernabeu is even more difficult. So if Ancelotti wants to rest some of his players, I'd say it wouldn't be a bad decision. But Ancelotti is unlikely to want to take any risks. So I think we will see all the star players of Real Madrid with the squad in the starting XI.

I think that Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest coaches in terms of getting along with his players. So he is very fitted to coach teams, that have a lot of stars in them already and that already know how to play the game. So i think that Real Madrid is a perfect club for him and he already have proven that last season when they have won the Champions League even though it is also part of the truth, that Real was very lucky a few times and especially in the matches against Manchester City to even be in the Champions League final. This year Real is again not the biggest favorite to win the title in my opinion, but that does not really mean much.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🐞 Dogecoin Will hit $1? on: February 24, 2023, 09:48:05 PM
Dump $doge ? Cool

BTC= $100,000, when Doge =$1
BTC= 1 million, Doge= $10

BTC would only require to do around a x4,2 from it's current price to be at 100.000 $ per coin. At the same time Dogecoin would need to do a x12,5 to reach the price of 1$. Even though that is like 3 times the price increase that Bitcoin would need to make to reach your prediction i think that this would still be possible because if you look in the past then it is obvious, that altcoins in general are pumping and dumping way harder than Bitcoin during a bull or a bear market.
For Dogecoin specifically i still don't think though that it will reach 1$ that easily it is just a meme-coin in the end and the first effects of the elon tweets are already gone and that first effect can only happen once obviously.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 24, 2023, 09:39:44 PM
Its really disappointing how Gladbach is playing at the moment and that they can not play stable.
Glad that Mainz has won and my be was right .

I think the coach of Gladbach would already be in quite some danger of getting fired after the result of today if they would have not won the match last week against Bayern Munich. I think for that reason Daniel Farkes job is still safe for at least 1 or 2 matchdays but i really think that Mönchengladbach needs to start to perform better sooner or later or he will be fired.
Mainz on the other hand, is really playing a good season so far. They are currently on the 7th position of the Bundesliga even though their budget is probably among the lowest of all clubs of the league. Bo svensson is really making a great job their and i think he could be candidate to become coach of a bigger club pretty soon.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 24, 2023, 09:24:37 AM
Ajax was unlucky this time. facing Union Berlin, Ajax's front line looked frustrated. they controlled the midfield but Union Berlin left Ajax with little to do.
Ajax controlled 74% of ball possession. but could only make 3 shots on target. of course, Union Berlin has a defense unimaginable for Ajax.

Another match was MU against Barca. both played great, and MU showed good game and spirit. they are playing at home, and they are very strong. win 2-1 and Barca have to admit it.

Before this round in the Europa League started is was pretty sure, that Union Berlin would not have a chance against Ajax Amsterdam. I mean we should not forget where both teams are coming from. Ajax was in the semi final of the Champions League a few years back and they almost reached the final there. Union Berlin on the other hand always was a team of the second Bundesliga until a few years ago.
That match yesterday though, was a pretty good example why Union Berlin is so successful this year. Their defense is very stable and they don't get nervous even if the opponent is having the ball all the time. In addition to that they are also very effecdtive with their chances.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin, what do you guys recommend I buy as well on: February 24, 2023, 09:21:49 AM
I have a good amount of btc that I'm very pleased with. I love btc. Are there any other coins you guys could recommend I buy next? (none of your comments count as financial advice)

Well with your Bitcoins you already have the safest and most stable of all cryptocurrencies in your portfolio. I think it is fair to say that a x10 of Bitcoin is not as likely as a x10 of an altcoin simply because Bitcoin already made several x1000 so the space for another x10 is just pretty limited in my opinion. On the other hand Bitcoin is very stable for a crypto.

So for your altcoin investment it depends on what you want to achieve with it. Do you also want to be relatively safe like with your Bitcoin? Then i would invest into big and already established projects like Ethereum, BNB, Cosmos and so on.
If you want to gamble, then invest into small and new projects, but of course you need to be aware that, it is totally possible that you lose all of your money then.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 23, 2023, 05:56:35 PM
Gavi, Pedri and Dembele all are important players whose absence will be felt for Barcelona. However I still think Manchester United would have been the favourite clearly even in their existence. Because Manchester United are playing completely different in Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag has developed a really solid system against big teams in their stadium. So far it has worked against every single big team if I'm not wrong. They even made a big comeback against Manchester City in their domestic league.

Hence I see Manchester United quite close to next stage from now on. Maybe Barcelona could manage to carry the match to extra time at least. But I still think the winner will be Manchester United.

I also think that Manchester United is the favorite in this matchup today against FC Barcelona. The match last week in Barcelona was totally open and both teams were at the same performance level back then but today it should be different. As you have already said, Barca is missing a few important players today and in addition to that ManU is playing at home today, so two big reasons that are definitely favoring ManU today.
If Barca would really go out again in the first round of the knockout stages then this would be a really big disappointment for them. They desperately need the money from the Europa League because they have such huge debts.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 23, 2023, 05:41:27 PM
English teams are struggling this season in the Champions League. Liverpool, Manchester City and tottenham have all struggled even in the Europa league Manchester United has struggled. I think it might be because they play a lot more games in a short time compared to other major leagues and they have a lot of cup matches.
Liverpool are already out but I think Manchester City should have enough quality to beat RB and they should have scored more yesterday. Haaland performed badly and should have had a couple of goals but he does not seem the same player when he does not have the delivery from Kevin De Brunye.

As far as i watch football, the topic that, in contrast to all the other big european leagues, there is no winter break in the english premier league was always been discussed. I mean there are several arguments for and against the current model in the premier league. A point that definitely supports the current way of the premier league is the fact that the boxing day and all the other matchdays during the christmas holidays have definitely played a big role in making the Premier League the most watched league in the world of football.
On the other hand, it is definitely a disadvantage for the clubs and the players because they just have not so much time to recover.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 23, 2023, 11:59:02 AM
After the first matches in the Champions League, an interesting image emerged. English teams had unsuccessful results in the first matches. Honestly, Chelsea and Tottenham didn't surprise me because both teams were having unstable results in the league, but Liverpool's helplessness against Real Madrid and Manchester City's performance in Leipzig came as a bit of a surprise to me. All English teams except Liverpool will play the second game at home. All three teams can pass this tour, but I think the closest English team to pass the tour will be Manchester.

Well i think the big problems for the english teams is the fact that the expectations are just way to high. The reason for those high expectations is probably the extremely high amount of money that the english clubs are getting from the tv licensing rights. Because of that huge amounts of money they are spending way to much money on transfer fees.
Just look at the transfers that FC Chelsea made in the winter for example. They have spent 121 Million € for Enzo Fernandez, who has a market value of "only" 55 Million €, but just because you have spent so much money for him does not automatically mean, that he is also performing like a 120 M € player.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos to stop minting BUSD on: February 23, 2023, 11:51:52 AM
GM crypto fam.
So, the NY Department of Financial Services has ordered Paxos to stop minting BUSD effectifly as of yesterday (Feb. 21st).
How big of an impact is the government's crackdown on crypto going to have on the crypto market's growth in the US?

I don't really know how big the impact of this regulation will be to the crypto market as a whole, but i would guess that the impact will not be so devastating. I do think though that this is another blow for the whole BSC-chain. I mean like until a half a year ago or so it really seemed like Binance and the BSC chain will continue to grow and that they are ahead of every other crypto company and chain, but in the recent months that has significantly changed in my opinion.
The volume on the BSC-chain is going down, while other chains like Arbitrum are getting used more and more. I don't hold any BNB myself but i am not sure if this coin will see it's ATH ever again.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 22, 2023, 09:54:54 PM
Inter just scored damn, I hate seeing them winning.
Another bad result for Guardiola is on the way... Incredible how the 1Bilion worth team keeps failing.

The match between RB Leipzig and Manchester City is over now and it ended with a draw with one goal each. In the first half Manchester City was the totally dominating team and it was totally deserved that they were 1-0 up after the first 45 minutes back then a 2-0 for ManCity seemed way more likely then a 1-1 by Leipzig. It seems though as if the coach of Leipzig has found the right words during the half time break because in the second half RB Leipzig really was the better team and they a few good chances to score. So overall i would say the 1-1 is an absolutely fair result for this game.
So Leipzig still has realistic chances to advance into the next round but ManCity still remains the big favorite for that of course.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to run a bounty campaign? on: February 22, 2023, 08:40:16 PM
how to become a bounty manager i want to run bounty campaign so how can i run campaign please tell me

I guess you are talking about managing a bounty campaign for a crypto project and not running a bounty for your own crypto project? As others in this thread have already said, if you want to become a bounty manager yourself that is managing bounties for companies, then you have a lot of work in front of you first.
With a newbie account like yours there is no way that a project is hiring you as their bounty manager. First you need to build up your reputation here in this forum. I would guess that you really need to be a legendary member first who also has a positive trust rating in order to be considered by projects. So it is not that easy.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 22, 2023, 11:21:14 AM
As for Napoli, who came as guests against Frankfurt, they played very well and pressed the hosts from the start and in the 40th minute Victor Osimhen scored the first goal for Napoli. Unfortunately, in the second half of the 58th minute Frankfurt had to be willing to play with 10 players because Kolo Muani got a red card and in the 65th minute Napoli added another goal through Lozano. With this result Napoli won a 0-2 victory and are very confident when the second leg will be held at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.

In the end it was a totally deserved win for Napoli i have to say. That being said, i also think that this match could have ended differently too. In the first 30 minutes or so, Eintracht Frankfurt definitely was the better team and if they would have scored a goal there, then would would have had a totally different game. After Napoli got that penalty though, which they have missed, they were the better team and their goal shortly before the half time break was already deserved.
I also have to say though, that for me the red card for Kolo Muani was to hard. He definitely went for the ball and he even touched the ball first before he hit the other player, so a yellow card would have been more fitting there.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: February 22, 2023, 11:17:37 AM
Since we all know that dogecoin is getting backed by Elon Musk and people also want him to accept payment in dogecoin for his Tesla cars. And since his single tweet can give a boost to the price of dogecoin, what do you think?
Does Elon really take doge to the moon?
The majority of people are believing that Elon will do something and Dogecoin will hit $1 by this year. What do you think guys? Will tesla accept dogecoin as a payment? And the chances are high that other merchants do accept dogecoin as a payment.
Share your thoughts.

I don't really know if i would say that Elon Musk is backing Dogecoin. I mean he made a few tweets about it 1 or 2 years ago or so and that was pretty much it. Those tweets though were enough to make Dogecoin pump pretty hard and those tweets were also the reason why we had that huge wave of meme-coins appearing back then, which was definitely a bad thing for the whole crypto market.
Also i don't really think, that the majority of people really think, that Dogecoin will hit 1$ this year. This would be a x12 from here on and if that would be the case, then people would be already buying Dogecoin now if they were so sure that it will be at 1$ in only a few weeks. I would not expect to much from Dogecoin.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 21, 2023, 09:55:05 PM
It seems these teams never learn from history when it comes to playing Real Madrid, how the @%@&k does Liverpool lose an early 2 goal lead against the most decorated team in the Champions League...did they think they had done enough to elimate Madrid Huh

That is really weird. If you are up 2-0 already then you should really make sure, that your defense is stable and that you don't give away easy chances to score to the opponent. I mean 2-0 would have been a really great result already for Liverpool so they should have just play more defensively and waited for chances to make a quick counter attack because sooner or later you would get those.
Sadly for Liverpool they got the 2-1 only 6 minutes after they have socred their second goal and from this point on they were nervous again. Somehow Real Madrid always manages to show good performances in the Champions League even though they are not one of the big favorites again this year.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin and no downtime till now in 11 years on: February 21, 2023, 09:41:46 PM
It has been 11 years and Litecoin is still running like a champ. In these 11 years, it never went down. One of the biggest advantages for small merchants who want to accept payment in crypto. Many merchants prefer Bitcoin & Ethereum payment but Litecoin is also something merchants should consider accepting as a payment.

I don't know if it is actually true, but if the litecoin blockchain was always working without any major downtimes for 11 years straight, then this is a pretty good achievement. I mean Litecoin was created as a lighter version of Bitcoin obviously, with a lower blocksize in terms of data and also more TPS if i am not wrong, so this would make Litecoin a perfect method of payment.
Nowadays Bitcoin is not really a currency to pay anymore in my opinion but more of a rare asset that everyone is holding in order to profit from rising prices in the future just as people are doing it with gold. Litecoin on the other hand would be a perfect cryptocurrency used for normal payments. It does not offer smart contracts so that is also pretty much the only use case, but that is enough.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 21, 2023, 01:27:37 PM
It has been rumoured that Gvardiol has been linked with chelsea. It's caused by his friend Nkuku was joining with chelsea. that makes gvardiol interested to do the same thing as nkuku. Chelsea has been rumored to be included gvardiol in the list of transfers for upcoming season.
It was giving advantage to chelsea to get him. There must be so many players need to be terminated or sold by chelsea first.

Well for me this is just a rumor without much substance to it. At the moment almost every player is linked with a possible transfer to FC Chelsea because their new owner does not really know what to do with his money and he also does not know how to build a successful team. It should be obvious by now, that just buying a lot of players that are individually very good does not automatically mean, that this team will have success. I have to say i liked FC Chelsea under Roman Abramovich way more, they have also spent a lot of money back then but at least they spent it relatively smart on players that made sense. Now they are just throwing away their money without any thought behind it.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: February 21, 2023, 01:23:24 PM
Up until now I have not really thought about getting involved with XRP however have been doing more research and if they win the case feel it could really do well.
With a market cap of $21m already, how high can this really go if all goes well?
Think I may start to DCA into it and if it does win the case then who knows how high it can go, wouldn’t be surprised if it still did a 15x or more from current price.
Are you for or against XRP?

The marketcap of XRP (Ripple) is at around 20 Billion $ at the moment so almost a 1000 times higher than the 21 M $ that you have stated but i guess that was just a typo. Regarding the question if XRP is a good project to invest in, i have to say that for me XRP is definitely not the number one pick if i had to choose an altcoin now that i want to invest in. A lot of people dislike XRP because it is a very centralized project and the reason why Bitcoin was created was the fact that they wanted to give people the opportunity to transfer wealth without any banks and institutions involved. With XRP that is not possible because it is so centralized.
