@Hueristic. I reckon it proves that there is nothing asic resistant. However, Monero's change of mining algorithm to RandomX might be the first serious change to prove that there is asic resistance or the last serious try that might prove that it is impossible hehe.

@Vishnu.Reang. Fighters will talk, however, negotiations will make the fights hard to organize. There might not be a fight between Tyson and Deontay until 2021, I reckon. This might become the new Money Mayweather versus Pacman 2, coming soon hehehehe.

News update. First of ETF proposals withdrawn.
It appears that any derivative based on bitcoin for institutional investors was the only investment vehicle needed by VanEck, SolidX hehe.
I'm curious to know what their attitude is to a 'real' ETF. Are they introducing this kludge and withdrawing the original application to let the kludge run and have it strengthen their position when they reapply? There's so much more potential in a proper ETF that I can't believe they'd let the idea go completely. The skeptcal me speculates yes, the SEC's rejections might have forced Vaneck and SolidX expose their original plans accidentally hehehe.

@RivAngE. Agreed. Bitcoin's emmission rate and its deflationary distribution through the halvings might be a flaw and what is slowing down adoption.
I reckon that the Grin founders saw this and decided for a distribition first, moon math last emission schedule.

Can someone update me on the status of the exhibition match? Floyd Mayweather was OK with the idea and he gave his consent for the 5-round match. However, Manny rejected it, saying that he want a full 12-round fight and not an exhibition match, which in his opinion is designed to fool the fans. I have to say that Manny is right here.
Floyd have been involved in exhibition matches after his retirement, and he was reportedly paid close to $12 million for one against Tenshin Nasukawa (that fight was a sham, and lasted just two and a half minutes). Back then, a lot of the guys were accusing of the organizers of rigging the fight. Perhaps Manny is aware of this fight and the negative reaction that came after it.
I reckon an exhibition match would be similar to a small ICO, pump and dump with a quick exit scam. A 12 round full match would be similar to a multimillion dollar ICO like bitconneeeect hehehe.

Wallins should take few lessons from Ruiz how to get few lbs quick ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That is very easy. Teach Tyson Fury to eat Mexican food like burritos and tacos with the beans, guacamole and everything hehehe. In any case, is this Tyson Fury's bait for Deontay? Is he only making himself appear a little weak?

@1Referee. The darkweb attracts the scummiest entities, however, who said that the banking system is not run by the scummiest entities also hehehe.
The people are not afraid of the men who fund wars that create debt to make the banks richer. The harmless bankers.
If I had a sMerit left I would have given it to you. I couldn't have said it any better. Don't forget that this directly applies to governments collecting taxes as well. People often treat Bitcoiners with a strong anti taxation opinion as tax evaders and thus criminals, but they have no clue about how much of their money is used to finance proxy wars and whatnot. Bitcoiners can now decide not to pay tax, or less tax than before because no one can freeze their balance if they avoid using centralized services. The mainstream media is doing an extremely good job dedicating a lot of its time to the wrong criminals. ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif) The government and the banks are always working together. They give money to the politicians and help them be elected to different levels of positions in government. The government borrows money from the bank for their wars, the most popular in America is the war on drugs. The people are taxed to pay for all of it.

News update. First of ETF proposals withdrawn. It appears that any derivative based on bitcoin for institutional investors was the only investment vehicle needed by VanEck, SolidX hehe. I speculate more withdrawals will follow. Cboe BZX Exchange withdrew its VanEck/SolidX bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) proposal on Tuesday.
According to a filing dated Sept. 17, a proposed rule change to publicly list shares of the VanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust was withdrawn on Sept. 13. A decision on the proposal had already been delayed a number of times, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) faced a final deadline of Oct. 18 to determine whether to approve or reject what could have been one of the first bitcoin ETFs in the country.
The news comes just weeks after VanEck and SolidX began offering shares of the Trust to qualified institutional buyers (entities with at least $100 million in assets owned or invested) under a Rule 144A exemption. In the nearly three weeks since first announcing the product, one “basket” of four bitcoin (worth around $40,000) was traded.Read in full https://www.coindesk.com/vaneck-solidx-withdraw-bitcoin-etf-proposal-from-sec-review

@HB Wallet. GreatArkansas was asking when the new Ethereum 2.0 blockchain will be online for the Ethereum 1.0 holders to migrate their coins and for dapp developers to migrate their smart contracts and tokens.
@GreatArkansas. It might be on the 1st quarter 2020 according to an article I read.

@Febo. 20 years, grin's inflation will be lower than 3%. The price will depend on adoption.
Price always depend on adoption. Adoption is part of a demand and demand pushes price up. Supply are the coins that people want to sell and is pushing price down. Newly mined coins or emission adds to the supply since a lot miners have to sell to pay their electricity. Influence of emission of a supply reduce over time. However, Grin will need adoption more than most of the coins in the cryptospace that depend on deflation, moon math and pumps, I reckon hehehe.

@lixer. Does Ethereum's reboot to Ethereum 2.0 not make it similar to an admission that 1.0 is an incompetent platform that does not work as promised?
I shake my head on why Vitalik and his team did not use proof of stake from the beginning if that was where Ethereum was going. It would have worked because Ethereum begun as an ICO.

Can anyone tell me how Facebook's Libra blockchain is not controlled by a single entity without mining? The skeptical me is speculating that Calibra COO Tomer Barel might be adviced by some of the cryptospace's old altcoin scammers hehehe. Why does Facebook need a new cryptocurrency when it could have used traditional payment networks? asked interviewer Ouriel Ohayon, CEO of ZenGo, a crypto wallet that is building on Libra. Barel said that fiat money is broken and "that for a currency to be successful, it cannot be controlled by a single entity. This is what blockchain brings us.”
He added that it also needs to be transparent and, crucially, secure—which, he said, are features of a blockchain.Read in full https://decrypt.co/9257/calibra-executive-facebook-libra-blockchain

The Emmys Awards 2019 is around the corner.
Are you rooting for your favorite nominated series like Game of Thrones, Killing Eve, and others to win the Outstanding Drama Series award?
Betting lines are open on Nitrogen Sports!
See all Emmys 2019 odds.I predict that there will be a big disappointment for Game of Thrones fans. It is the big favorite, with very low odds and after the low ratings of season 7, I will never bet for it. I would bet for the 2nd favorite, Killing Eve with odds high on 6.00.

@layer1gfx. Grin's monetary policy is also designed to gain wider adoption than bitcoin because of infinite emmission.
Also, I reckon that other characteristics of Grin is correcting the mistakes of other cryptocoins like the mistake of deciding for Asic resistance of Monero, the mistake of nonfungibility in bitcoin and the mistake of a capped supply of most cryptocoins that might limit its distribution and adoption.

Thank you for this useful news, we are waiting for a small increase in the rate of Ethereum, I wanted to see it in the region of $ 300-500. It will be able to keep the course in this area, time will tell, but interest in the coin has increased significantly.
You might wait longer than you might expect if you speculate that the increase on the price might be caused by the release of Ethereum 2.0. I predict that Vitalik will do it similar to the SEC's decision on bitcoin's ETF. Many delays and delays of delays hehehe.

I thought bitcoin was our safe haven for economic depressions. Is Tom Lee's statement also implying that if Trump collapses the American economy, bitcoin will also collapse? I shake my head. Also, what is a generational buy? Bitcoin Tends to Follow the S&P500, Says Lee
“The next big catalyst [for Bitcoin] is a decisive breakout in the equity markets,” he told CNBC’s Fast Money on Thursday. “Once equities break to an all-time high, Bitcoin becomes a risk-on asset.” For Lee, it seems clear: as stocks go high, Bitcoin follows.
The increased liquidity from a breakout in the equities market could propel Bitcoin to an all-time high, predicts Lee. As of now, the S&P’s all-time high is around 3,025. If it breaks this, Lee argues that it would be “bullish for Bitcoin.” His analysis is based on precedent: the best years for the S&P 500 have also coincided with the best years for Bitcoin.
The recent lull in Bitcoin’s price movements can also be explained in this way. Lee sees this same choppy market in equities also, which leads him to believe that the S&P 500 needs to move upward for Bitcoin to follow.
During this same segment, BKCM founder and CEO Brian Kelly told Fast Money that this is a “massive buying opportunity” for those looking to jump into Bitcoin since there is “too much money coming into this market.” He argues that “for the next six months” there is the opportunity for a ‘generational buy.’Read in full https://beincrypto.com/fundstrats-tom-lee-says-that-bitcoin-and-sp-500-are-heading-towards-all-time-high/

Scammers scamming other fellow scammers. Let us wait until those criminals selling cash for bitcoin discover that bitcoin is not anonymous hehehe. They might pay for $0.01 on the dollar for Monero or Grin transactions hehe. The second annual research report by cloud security provider Armor shows that criminals are selling cash for bitcoin on darkweb marketplaces at a substantially reduced rate.
According to the report, Armor researchers examined 12 different hacker marketplaces over the course of five months and determined that cash was being sold for bitcoin at pennies on the dollar. The report states that darkweb markets are thriving despite the continued crackdown on their existence.
More concerning for crypto users was the discovery that criminals were using bitcoin to aid in laundering stolen funds.
The report says,
One of the cleverest services spotted was where a criminal can pay a seller $800 in Bitcoin and have $10,000 transferred to a bank account of their choice or wired to them via Western Union, a seamless turn-key money laundering service.
While 12 cents on the dollar may appear a poor exchange for illicitly obtained funds, the Armor report claims it poses an attractive avenue for less experienced criminals.
Chris Hinkley, head of Armor’s TRU team, explained,
For those scammers who don’t possess the technical skills and a robust money mule network to monetize online bank account or credit card credentials, this is an offer that can be very attractive...this clever service gives them an additional channel for monetizing the large amounts of financial data available on the underground.Read in full https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2019/09/dark-web-criminals-are-laundering-cash-for-bitcoin-at-pennies-on-the-dollar/
