It's very borderline. This is of course my personal opinion... WTB btc with fiat or alts - bitcoin marketplace WTB btc with alts = selling alts - altcoin marketplace
Maybe I see it differently but this makes the most sense to me
I'm going to underline this, to see if I'm the only one confused here. I don't really see a difference, to be honest. Maybe the wording? If I say I'm selling for bitcoin it will be moved, but if I say I want to buy bitcoin with the alt it won't?
Just selling altcoins for BTC, fiat or any other coin doesn't belong in Currency Exchange. The quoted rule is referring to threads that offer exchanges between fiat and BTC in addition to other exchanges (e.g. BTC to alts, alts to fiat, etc.).
I maybe be a bit dense today, but I don't understand what you are trying to say (sorry). If the currency exchange board is not meant for just exchanging coin A for coin B (being A or B Bitcoin), what is it for?
On top of that, moving serious threads that may get a chance to be seen in the bitcoin marketplace board are doomed the moment they go down to altcoin marketplace, but that is only a personal appreciation

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago on a DOGE-BTC exchange I wanted to do; talking to the mod responsible for it ended up being a very unproductive conversation because it was just how he interpreted the rule. The only thing we can do here is just agree to disagree, and there's nothing else that can be done.

Hey Ninja, any way I can disable the alt username for notifications? I have set it as csm and it turns out a spam wave is using those 3 letters together and screwing my notifications Thanks! Edit: I have checked the last post I was "mentioned" in, and there was actually no "csm" anywhere, I can't check the rest because stupid me deleted the notifications; post here ---> Archive fuck hidden links

You have reported 2007 posts with 99% accuracy (1912 good, 29 bad, 66 unhandled).

Has everyone here received 2 promotional emails today? I received one at 1UTC and another one at around 13UTC (say, now)
We're not listening to your political rants because they are off-topic here.
You know you can report off topic coments so that they are deleted, right? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Same thing happened to me lol! You ctually have to select 3 matches with idds higher than 1,5 (so a multi bet) and the option to use the free bet will show as a slide bar

There are so many good questions, will try to answer all of them. As for the prize distribution, this will be done tomorrow.
And where or how are we going to be able to see our free bets? The "my bets" and "gifted bets" tabs are empty and making a random bet brings a "insufficient funds" message

I stand myself corrected; they sent a second email that did go straight to the spam folder; you have to laugh... On said second email, they apologize for nothing, but the title adds a nice ERRATUM word; and a newly underlined phone number appears on the list of items that have been compromised. They are still missing the email address, so I guess there's still room for a ERRATUM ERRATUM? The rest of the email is exactly the same

agree, they could also note the device serial number and transmit it through ledger live to connect to your purchase, but that will sound as they are not even legitimate company at all, and their main purpose is like stealing your funds in some way, isn't it?
Or they simply wanted to track their customers after the purchase to collect their consumer habits and use the data to improve their marketing... there's way too many things that could be done without any "bad" intention on their side by doing this. Have I just created a conspiracy theory?

If I'm talking about free bets and round 2, no, I'm not talking about the forum thread in G&R... Just the on site tab, with 500$ in free bets as a prize (distributed)

It probably depends on whether you asked them to store your details or not. The hack happened in June 2020, and they said 1 million email addresses were leaked but only 10k users personal details were included (addresses, phone numbers etc).
Not to be repetitive on this one; but the hack didn't happen on June; it was detected (and allegedly fixed) in June. We can only speculate as for how long this had been going on... I'm surprised your data wasn't leaked but you still got the email; that could mean that ledger is playing it safe this time and sending that generic email to every user that ever bought from them, "just to be safe" (but again, speculating)

Hey @betnomi; when are the round 2 predictor free bets going to be credited? Just out of curiosity, I have no actual rush on getting them, but would be great to have an ETA

I have finally received my personal email informing me about the leak, and boy is it funny to read. I'll highlight a couple of things: We regret to inform you that you are part of the approximately 272 000 customers whose detailed personal information was accessed by the unauthorized third party. Specifically, your name and surname, and your postal address were exposed. Not only are they late, but the specifically forget to mention that my phone number and email have also been leaked; which leads me to believe that they haven't actually checked the dumped DB. We are still investigating, but early signs tell us that this indeed could be the contents of our e-commerce database from June, 2020 I think it was suchmoon the one mentioning it; but what else do they have to investigate? Like really, the data is out in the public, they know when the vulnerability was allegedly found. If anything, they should check whether new customers' data is still there, but other than that... the oldest data to know when this party started? The email as a whole is a copy paste, which considering the case is way too "cold" (but what could we really expect?)
