Its time to pay, I will update after cash out.

Considering this from the OP

Free play is not considered cash & has no value

I highly doubt there is anything that can be cashed out; but good luck with your bets anyway.

PS: If you are offering virtual money with no real value, the OP and title are very misleading

On his last pre-anounced pre-announcement (announcement of the pre-announcement) DS said that there would be some openings this week (or the last); he may have refered to this.

Iasenko said that he was quite busy the other day here, so my best guess is that he'll be out of the forum or without enough time to post regularly for some weeks.
1263  Other / Meta / Re: I want a way to demerit posts. on: May 09, 2020, 12:35:14 AM
Perhaps instead of these requirements, the demerit function could be restricted to moderators of the board, ----- Newbies would start complaining about bias or "keeping them down" if legendaries were allowed to do this.
Then drama queens would start complaining about censorship, dictatorship and biased moderation on the forum (more than they already do). We don't need that, we don't want that.

Altough the idea is not bad in principle, restricting it to a certain rank, or group of people wouldn't be wise. The idea of X smerit= Y -smerit is the most sensible I've heard so far in this matter; and maybe another round of sweeping the airdropped merits of profiles that have not earnt a single merit in 2 years, and are active posters (not to discriminate the old stablished members that left the forum and may come back one day) could be considered

Edit: Giving it some more tought, I'd say that only posts that have already been merited could be demerited, and it can't get more demerits than the total ammount of merits. It will prevent a misleading post getting merited, but will be harder to use as some kind of retaliatory tool (or at least I want to think that)
1264  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dropshipping in the forum? on: May 09, 2020, 12:24:12 AM
As for the raffle idea, this is organized fairly regular over in the hardware, and collection sections. Personally, I'd prefer to actually hold the item in my hands, and not approach this with a drop shipping approach, but as long as the rules are clear, and the winner is selected fairly, and that can be verified ideally then I don't see too much problems with it.

The idea seems really cool in concept, but on this forum it wouldn't be as ideal. Usually people want to have proof that the product is with the person itself, and that they could use an escrow as a trustworthy third-party to get the item delivered safely.

As a matter of fact, I do agree that having the item before actually selling it is the best idea. Nevertheless, these will not be "limited" edition goods; they're pretty much products that anyone can buy by themselves. Adding the whole shipping to me first, to then re-ship adds more inconvenience than benefits. Many people won't trust re-shipped hardware wallets, in case they've been tampered with; international shipping is a pain in the ass (and expensive, so price per spot would increase accordingly), and the carbon footprint of shipping something twice is less than optimal. It all depends on the object to be sold/raffled though; as it's not the same to raffle a loaded Casascius than a Ledger Nano

I don't know if people will be open to this sort of thing, especially when dropshipping  eliminates the escrow and makes you the third party instead. Now of course, a fourth party could be involved in this for example, where you ship it to the escrow.
Or.... I could use a escrow to manage the receiving address, and once there is a winner and the product is shipped (or received), the escrow would release the funds. I haven't suggested to collect the coins before buying the product first because I'm (that) broke; but because of the logistics involved in an international (and completely unnecessary) re-shipping. This way, the worst case scenario of me performing an exit scam would be covered. There may be some other reasons not to trust me, but I can't think of something obvious (besides being an anonymous user on a crypto forum, lol) that could be seen as an issue

I saw that you've completely redesigned the ANN; will we get a copy of the contents to update it? Reception on the spanish board seems to be positive; a couple of users updated the signature and another one has already donated some coins Grin

Quote from: SmokeTooMuch
6. When someone loses his wallet, will there be a way to recreate the lost coins in the system ? Else the 21 million maximum will not be correct.

Quote from: satoshi
6: Those coins can never be recovered, and the total circulation is less.  Since the effective circulation is reduced, all the remaining coins are worth slightly more.  It's the opposite of when a government prints money and the value of existing money goes down.

So seeds and master private keys are the same, but represented in a different way? (mnemonic phrase // private key format)

Thanks for the clarification!
1269  Local / Trading y especulación / Re: Ingresos diarios en BTC. Ingresos pasivos on: May 08, 2020, 08:57:58 AM

Was your private key saved in a file before your kid fucked it up? If that's the case, you may be able to restore an earlier version of said file; and with some luck, it will contain the whole privkey.
1271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who exactly recieves transaction fees? on: May 07, 2020, 06:38:59 PM
So according the link you posted, it's only the miner who mined the block containing the transaction who receives its fees. For some reason I thought full nodes that only do validation could also receive fees.
Lightining Network nodes do receive the tx fees if a tx is routed through them. "Normal" bitcoin nodes don't receive anything for being a node; but they help the network by routing the txs and have some "voting power", deciding which client to run (the latest, or if they don't agree with something, not the latest). I don't really know how that last part works, because it's not something I've seen discussed many times
1272  Other / Meta / Re: Is this a ban deserved offense? on: May 07, 2020, 02:53:22 PM
I think too however, still it is the same rule breaking offense regardless of any section. The guy has posted there only for the incentive. We have seen Bitdice (Not sure) thread to be locked due to the same reason.
It could belong in the "Games and Rounds" section, where it's somehow allowed. Nevertheless, that user has been posting strange stuff for a couple of days.

I've seen him posting a "guide" on how to install a Core node, but said guide was really old, and surprisingly similar to another one I had found from some years ago... thread got trashed. He is also making questions about how to launch a hardware wallet, but he made another post claiming web wallets were the best (got trashed too)....

There is definately something odd going on with that account; or maybe the user is simple odd and does strange stuff per se. On the meantime, most we can do is report the posts that break the rules, since he is not scamming anyone
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Export list of private keys from BitcoinCore on: May 07, 2020, 01:41:29 PM
I then tried in Electrum console to see if the 3Ph address was mine from seed, but it came back with false. Is there any way to import the 3Ph address into Electrum or another system?

You have to select what type of private key you are importing: Legacy, native segwit or nested segwit.

To import a Legacy address (1...) , p2pkh:<privatekey>
To import a Nested segwit address (3...), p2wpkh-p2sh:<privatekey>
To import a Native segwit address (bc...), p2wpkh:<privatekey>

If your address was 3Ph..., nested segwit is the one you should choose

You can't import the master seed, because the Bitcoin Core wallet does not use seeds.

For the rest, Lucius has given you the answer: "walletpassphrase<password>"  followed by  "dumpprivkey"

Gracias!

Dear firend, KYC is essential for transactions between cryptocurrencies and fiat money, and this is only to protect your security and prevent any fraud
No, it is not. And you can still get scammed in places requiring KYC
1279  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Should I make an isolation box for my phone? on: May 06, 2020, 07:05:39 PM
I don't understand why you guys are taking the piss. It seems a sensible idea to me.. You keep the phone in a box to avoid tracking. When you feel like it, you take it out and see if anyone has called.
But the moment it gets out of the box, it's going to get pinged and you are going to be tracked again. And most of the solutions I've seen are either that, or modifying a smartphone to become something more analogic. That's why I proposed it as an alternative earlier in the thread (even if there was some joke to it); it's the cheapest and most efficient solution to avoid carrying unnecessary weight or getting tracked at any point (if the hardware does not have the tech, how can it be tracked?)

Pongo ejemplo rápido usándome a mi mismo:
