Nothing else Matters - Live at berkeley; os dejo adivinar el grupo

$4.50 fee per transfer was a lot! Not a problem but not beautiful for the eye. Just wanted to mention.
Mempool is currently 200+MB, so fees are pretty high. If you were in no rush, you could have sent the tx with an smaller fee, and even if it will take (a lot) longer to confirm, coins would have arrived too

i still cant create electrum wallet i have access to the account ive used to deposit and my freebitco.in account is there any other way possible to do so
What problem are you facing when installing Electrum? There are not many other ways to sign a message; because all of them require the private key of the address

5.63 satoshi/WU; so close enough. I think it's pretty obvious that I don't like tha fact that I'm paying 4 times my tx fee; and I believe that each transaction should be considered individually. I also understand that it would  take a significant effort both to program a script to check the addresses that have deposit funds, and cross check them with the amount some user wants to withdraw in order to make it the most efficient way. Alternatively, they could consolidate those small inputs whenever fees are low, but that would also be hand-made (I believe; not really familiar with how automation programs work) and it may not be worth the effort to the site.

I believe that each transaction should pay the fees depending on that transaction, and not a general fee to cover different cases, but being a centralized service; I can either choose to use it and complain/request changes, or not use it at all.

The original idea of putting a reward for users participating in F@H was really great, and I'm not really complaining about them paying us when they had no obligation to do so; but it's something I'd suggest/complain about even if there was no promotion
1187  Economy / Lending / Re: [URGENT] Need 0.2 BTC Loan... [REPAID] on: May 17, 2020, 10:42:22 AM
I'm with zarzarb on this one; you just came back to the forum after a 4 year inactivity period, so the least you could do is sign a message from a staked address to ensure you are the real owner of the account. He has to make sure that you are the real you, and that's the only way of proving that.

It's also natural that he has been changing addresses after 4 years, and as long as he can prove that he has the amount that he is escrowing, there should be no issue as to in which address they are.

The only thing I disagree with, is this
Quote
2. I see, that you have default loan, I think escrow amount should be sent direct to your creditor.
It may be the right thing to do, but in the end, it's only up to you (if you are really you) to pay your debts.

So sign a message, and let's put this thread to rest

It was actually 13 satoshi/byte on a 2 segwit input to 1 segwit output tx. The fee didn't change when the amount to be withdrawn was modified, so my guessing is that the tx size is not taken into account when doing withdrawals. I understand that it's impossible to use a 100% accurate fee when the site is dealing with many deposits and withdrawals and the process is most likely automated, but I also think there's room for improvement.

It's not really fair to pay 4 times the actual tx fee, and even if I understand that doing that many withdrawals with different variables could lead to the site loosing funds on the long run, fees could be a little bit more dynamic...

1190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HELP RECOVERING MY COIN FROM---) COINMIXER.ES!!! on: May 16, 2020, 02:34:05 PM
Also, the original mixer was shutdown almost 1 year ago, as mentioned above
It's been actually almost 2 years since the site closed.

Back to OP; there is no way you are getting your coins back, and the reasons for it have already been mentioned here.

What surprises me, is that coinmixer.es appeared some months before the owner decided to close shop; and it's been more than 2 years from that. That's a lot considering it's a phishing site, but if it still works....
1191  Local / Mercado y Economía / Re: Compra de BTC on: May 16, 2020, 02:17:56 PM
1192  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ✅[ANN] SUDOKU WALLET | Bitcoin Tumbler | CoinJoin | Instantly Mixing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on: May 16, 2020, 02:13:59 PM
Everybody, please, calm down.

Let's put it in simple steps, to try to see what happened.

1- lqudG3 created a new mixing session
2- lqudG3 sent some coins he wanted to mix to the deposit address. Let's call this address A
3- The transaction got 3 confirmations, and it unlocked the "mix my coins" button
4- lqudG3 clicked that button, and the mixing started
5- lqudG3 received 2 addresses (B and C), with their private keys, so that when the random amount of coins arrived at a random time delay, those could be swept

But we are seeing that B and C never received any coins and are still "mixing". A did receive the coins. So there was either some kind of bug in the system; or the coins didn't arrive in porpuse.

Bugs can happen. But it is very strange that it happened twice to the same user days apart.

Right now, I don't know what to think about this. It's unlikely there is some malware, because the coins were sent to address A, received the confirmations and the website allowed the mixing to start. B and C have not received the coins, so it's not that someone got control of the private key and swept the funds before the user could.

Are you sure you have been using the official sudokuwallet.io website instead of a phishing site?

Payment received (actually still unconfirmed, but whatever).

I have a couple of doubts regarding fees tough. I had a balance of 0.01250046; and used the minimum fee crypto-games allowed; roughly 20.000 satoshi. But when I check the transaction details at the block explorer; I see that the fee paid is 5046 satoshi, and AFAIK there is no site fee on withdrawals; so.... what is going on?

It'd also be nice to see the fee in satoshi/byte instead of satoshis in the withdrawal window
1195  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: May 16, 2020, 10:51:14 AM
Looks really nice! The fact that you actually see where you've received merits...

IIRC, you said that the bot was still in Beta testing? I think I saw that yesterday. I'll be testing it for sure, but I have a couple of questions.

-What's the frequency of the scrapping? giammangiato's is 5 minutes for merits and 1 for quotes; and it sometimes takes a lot longer to do so.

No further questions so far.

Edit: New question

- Is the bot case sensitive? I received the quote notification on the old bot and not on yours...

1196  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for Investors in Working Business on: May 16, 2020, 10:44:14 AM
2% daily or 10% Weekly is for sure Ponzi schemes scam. 600% annually? c'mon man...
Now you have another one red feedback, just to be sure. OR maybe you can explain what you do with investors money then you can offering such a big ROI.

Well, as it turns out, the 600% is incorrect; looks like I have forgotten to do math. Actually, I think I know why it's incorrect!

A year has 54 weeks (IIRC), and 365/6 days... So we either have a 540% ROI or a 730%!!

Looks like I was wrong after all....
1197  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ✅[ANN] SUDOKU WALLET | Bitcoin Tumbler | CoinJoin | Instantly Mixing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on: May 16, 2020, 10:20:45 AM
So let me unedrstand the situation right.

The mixer is supposed to work as follows:
1- You create a mixing session, send the coins, and click the "mix my coins" button.
2- Once you click the button, the funds on that address are moved (it's supposed to be that way), and you see a new screen with a random number of addresses, between 2 and 5 IIRC.
3- You have the private key to those addresses, and a random percentage of the funds is sent to each address at a random time; and you only have to sweep the in Electrum or any other wallet software.

Now; where exactly did the proccess not work for you?  I believe it's crucial to understand that to know whether the mistake was on your end on on the mixers' end.

I must say that I did use this service last month, but didn't leave a review later. I had no issues, received the coins mixed and 0 struggle.

I've also been following that users' complaint; and everything is a bit strange. If I'd have to bet, I'd say that he has some kind of malware in the device he is using; because it's really strange that they manage to steal the private key of the depositing addres, not only once; but twice. The admin did reply the first time, and AFAIK, the user was reimbursed.

There is another thing bugging me. The user complaining about the funds dissappearing has edited all of the previous posts on may 10th; which is after the second time having trouble with the platform... I'm not calling anyone a scammer, becuase I believe this is the consequence of some malware; but this particular case, doesn't seem easy to judge
1199  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Freebie week @ CoinDragon - every day new, fun competition! on: May 14, 2020, 11:51:12 PM
I'm sorry to bother; but if you are paying in BCH, you are paying in an altcoin. Because of that; you should move the thread to the altcoin section.

No. All altcoin-related bounties, giveaways, airdrops and etc. belong in the altcoin sections, specifically Bounties (Altcoins). Games and Rounds is for Bitcoin giveaways only.

As a matter of fact, it doesn't seem like users need to post here in order to get the coins; but be advised, that would go against forum rules

Quote from: theymos link=topic=434310.msg4769283#msg4769283
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.
1200  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Wallet I.D on: May 14, 2020, 05:54:40 PM
I don't think I fully understand your question....

Blockchain.com is showing all transactions of a wallet; and the xPub can be used to do the same. I personally don't know cointracking.io; and neither do I know what you want to do with the master public key.

Change addresses are a feature that is enabled in most wallets to enhance privacy. If you make a transaction to a certain address, and the amount of coins you are sending is smaller than the one you have in the wallet; 2 things can happen:

It only sends a part of it and the rest of the funds remain untouched
It sends what you want to send, and sends the rest of the funds to another address within the same wallet. It's strange, but the change address can be the same one that is sending the coins (with blockchain, who knows)
