1341  Economy / Service Discussion / Dropshipping in the forum? on: April 28, 2020, 05:16:00 PM
Since the beginning of the lockdown, I've been having different ideas on how I could earn some BTCBTC. I've never been a fan of how the whole "dropshipping" industry works, but I think I've finally managed to see it as something rather good. I'll explain myself with an example, and if there is some rather positive feedback on this, that example will be my first "attempt".

Let's say I organized a raffle of a brand new Trezor One Hardware Wallet. AFAIK, forum raffles are decided on the end hash of a randomly selected block, so there are 16 spots (I currently have started a "lottery" following this principle, take a look if you want to).

Now, what is the idea here? There are 16 spots, so the price per spot is going to be obviously way cheaper than buying the product first hand. In this example, a Trezor One costs 59€; that divided by 16 spots, gives the base price of 3.7€/spot.

Benefits of this? You can win a product paying a lot less than what it actually costs.

Why I am bringing this here to solve doubts if I have the idea so clear and don't post it straight away? I personally don't like the whole dropshipping system, and I feel like some users will complain and even raise scam accusations if they saw a thread/raffle like this one. Why? Because I'd be earning some money doing pretty much.... nothing?

Still, someone has to actually come with the idea first, right? And at the same time, it's a way for crypto users to "buy" products related to crypto without needing to use fiat money (in case it's something sold on a platform not accepting crypto).

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions and constructive criticism as to why this would be a terrible idea, or why not

1343  Other / Archival / Loteria del Bloque en Bitcointalk on: April 27, 2020, 10:22:10 PM

Code:

3-
4-
5-
6-
7-
8-
9-
a-

1344  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Betnomi Roll Hunt Contest(RollHunt Over Deposit bonuses still active) on: April 27, 2020, 09:40:53 PM
1. Some crypto gambling sites don't ask kyc but kyc required on withdraw. Is this right here too?
You have to put some data in the profile tab, it doesn't need to be your real personal data. This is going to dissappear in one of the next updates

Quote
2. Bonus just for game or it is allowed to use free money on casino?
As of today, the casino is still in development, so you can only play "Blast" game

Quote
3. Is it instant withdrawal or manual? If manual what will be asked, which coins usable for withdraw?
Withdrawals are processed manually; and you can choose from a wide variety of crypto to do them. Currently supported:
  • Bitcoin
  • Bitcoin Cash
  • Bitcoin SV
  • Ethereum
  • Doge
  • Litecoin
  • TRON
  • Dash

4. 250 usd is minimum amount for joinng bonus campaign?
There is no deposit minimum for the deposit bonus. You just have to post the deposit ID here, and do a rollover of x1

You could join and take the first ticket Wink

Total price pool is almost x16 the value of a ticket, and I doubt many casinos provide those multipliers with that win chance! 0% house edge, because there is no house

Strange almost one-liner thread was created in spanish local board to post a link, virustotal gives 0 hits, but it's suspicious as hell (haven't downloaded anything ofc)

Code:
https://blockchain.bytestamp.net/

Checking the profile of the user, he has posted it in some other non related threads in the altcoin board (and most likely in other places but got deleted).

Im grateful to see such site around. I don't know why these guys went into bad reviews first but ignoring the history I would like to say they do have got amazing site.
There were some things that didn't match 100% with the ICO team, and the owner didn't reply at the time. That has all now been addressed, and you can read it for yourself on the reference of the feedbacks and the flags the owner has.

Since the time I participated in their review campaign I have started to play around it. This is freakishly addictive game and it's like  routine now to play it everyday.
You can grab a 10% deposit bonus here if you are actively using the site; the condition on the bonus is a x1 rollover, so it's not something hard to do

My Mantra for success on this site is:- Control your mind and how much money you wagering here. There is 100% winning in each roll and all you have to do is control yourself and not to have greed for huge winning.

Initially i did try to grab big hands, looking at those 1000 and 2500x multipliers but thats 10-12 chances in 24 hours as per my study. So better back off the jackpot stuff.  Smiley

Yes, UI is just amazing and deposit, withdrawals do work just fine.
Good to hear you are enjoying the games and the site! More features are coming soon, and I'm sure you'll all love them Wink
1349  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Wallet Analytics on: April 25, 2020, 10:30:52 PM
It doesn't seem to work when you have an adblock.
Maybe it's the browser? I'm using Chrome with AdblockPlus and it works fine (and detects 0 ads on the site)

There is a section talking a bit about it a little bellow in the website, but it doesn't explain well.

A part of it:
Quote
[...] Over time as you build up more transactions and interact with different bitcoin addresses your wallet score will increase. An inactive wallet that has not had a transaction in sometime will see it's bitcoin wallet address score dropping. [...]
And it doesn't explain the point of it either. Besides, any user that values privacy and uses address per tx will have a terrible score, I can't find any sense to that measuring unit
1350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying btc from a forum member on: April 25, 2020, 10:21:38 PM
they are lot safer

Sure.... I'll just post an article about last year

  • Cryptopia lost 2.44 Million $ on ETH and 48 million CENNZ tokens (3.6 Million $ doing the math on my head)
  • Binance lost 7000BTC
  • Bithumb---19 million $
  • Gatehub -- 10 million $ in XRP
  • Coinbene--- unknown amount
Reference: https://bitcoinist.com/5-biggest-crypto-exchange-hacks-of-2019/

And that is only 5 places that got hacked, but sure, exchanges are safer.

And better, of course, because they keep our coins for us and can freeze at any time for our own safety until we provide enough KYC data to the. Everything are advantages when it comes to exchanges, I don't know how satoshi didn't make one himself as the main centralized service of his descentralized cryptocurrency!
1351  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [COVID-19] Folding@Crypto.Games ~ 0.5 BTC+ in incentives for a good cause on: April 25, 2020, 10:13:13 PM
The team monthly info is already here. It is the team rank  (so as you can see we are still far from reaching the top 100)
No it's not. The team rank is the overall rank of the team since the beginning of the times (so to speak). The team monthly is the ammount of points the team has made in a month.

We are currently 332 in the team monthly, whereas 673 on the team rank

I made the credit numbers easier to read.
Yay! Thanks!
1352  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Wallet Analytics on: April 25, 2020, 09:57:20 PM
It doesn't look bad, but a couple of things could be improved.

For example, I've tried the site with my forum address, and I saw something that could be considered a mistake. The graphic increases lineraly from one deposit to the next, when it should just spike from the day prior to receiving to the day receiving (adding the example of the trezor interface vs yours)

See what I mean?

Apart from that I have a small doubt; what the hell is this?

Bitcoin Wallet Rating: 8.96/10

Are you rating the address, the funds...? And how are you doing it?

The rest of the website looks simple enough to do what's it's designed to do; and the referal link on the Ledger HW is subtle enough Wink

Keep it up with the good work!

Really nice; altough it's a pitty that it comes at the end of the month Cry

2 quick suggestions if you'll allow me:

   - You could add decimals/points to the huge numbers on the green bars to make them readable  Wink
   - It would be nice to see the "Team Monthly" too, to see if we'll reach the 1BTC incentive or we'll only stay at 0.5BTC
1354  Other / Archival / Bitcointalk Block Lottery on: April 25, 2020, 10:35:03 AM
Being stuck at home because of the lockdown, I've been having some different ideas, and I want to put one into practice.

I want to start an On site "lottery". I put it in brackets because the closest thing to a translation would be a "pool", but it's far more inaccurate than that. Anyway, how does it work?

Block hashes are generated randomly, so there's no way a user can know the next block hash. Taking that principle, similar to what raffles do, a user will be able to buy, or bet, on the end of a block hash. There are 16 possible outcomes, so there is a 6.25% chance of guessing it right.

  • Price per spot --- 0.001BTC
  • Deposit address --- 3N1jDu6uLSnt3PUGQi4ErFrSdNcT8L69Fk
  • Once all spots are taken, a random block will be chosen
  • Winner will get the following price: (0.001*16)-1%-Tx fees

To benefit from lower fees, please provide a Segwit address

Code:
1-
2-Danydee
3-
4-
5-
6-
7-
8-
9-
a-
b-
c-
d-
e-
f-
0-

Once the block is chosen and mined, I'll contact the winner both in private and in the thread to ask for a return address. If you want to speed things up, you can provide the return address when buying a spot.

One user can bet on more than 1 outcome.

te sugiero hacer un gasto doble con mas fees para que se confirmen pronto tus monedas Smiley

Pues no ha llegado a hacer falta, y me ha sorprendido bastante.

Dejo ahora si el código entero de la frase

Taking a wild guess, I'd say that Work in progress
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet was restored fine but "unspendable". on: April 24, 2020, 11:46:34 PM
You can only get a watch-only wallet if you import a public key, not a seed phrase. Am I right?
AFAIK, yes. But we are talking about a blockchain.com wallet here, so I wouldn't be surprised if the associated the seeds with their user ID (wallet ID I think it's called), and when you re-enter the seed, all of your old data is restored (labels, wallets, imported addresses.....).

Besides, if the seed was incorrect, wouldn't he get a completely new wallet?

Amount of BTC you wish to invest (divided by) Price of the Altcoin in BTC

Again, with an example....
Code:
0.3BTC * 1BNB/ 0,00211898BTC
1359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the Value of 1 Altcoin (in BTC)? on: April 24, 2020, 09:44:03 PM
I'm trying to place an order on TradingView to buy BNB.

But I wanna spend 0.3 Bitcoin for the trade.
But the platform doesn't give me an option to enter how many bitcoins I wanna trade. Instead, it asks me how many altcoins (BNB) I wanna buy.

So what's the formula for converting say 0.3 bitcoin to a specific altcoin?

Appreciate the help,

JH

You check either the exchange and do some math (what you want to spend / value of the altcoin), or check a token ticker like coingecko and do the same math (altough it does it for you)

In your case,

BNB-BTC pair 0.3BTC equals to 141,52512856496492 BNB

There may be some small changes between different exchanges
1360  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: April 24, 2020, 09:40:27 PM
New address to stake, with backstory...

Since I was last active on the forum I have moved house, and now can't get back to my house either because of COVID-19. I believe I know exactly where the private key is to my last staked address, but for now I'm going to need to roll with a new address until a) this is over and b) I can dig out my private keys. I am aware this doesn't just roll around here, so:
I feel you, the same shit happened to me....

Anyway....

I would like to stake the new address using an old, old address to prove my identity once again. This address I staked in 2017 but the key is on a memory stick I have with me, so I can use it to stake a new one.

The address I staked here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.msg20124885#msg20124885

A new signature from this same address here:

This is Fishbones78 on Bitcoin Talk 2020-02-24 verifying the use of new address 16Sao13HofVuhfU67NMpuQzhdPr7xgS3D8
