661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin correction on: December 15, 2017, 04:58:49 PM
Bitcoin has this image of volatility of daily prices. We cannot guarantee of fall back of the price but it is possible for the correction. But if this will happen down to $10k users will grab the chance to buy back. Btc price may increase again and ofcourse those users will take profit of price increase.

Well what you can guarantee actually is that correction always happen. In markets like ours, the rule what goes up must come down also applies.

It also happens on the other trend, if it always go down, at some point expect a correction that the price will rise.

At least we'll get to see the fruits of all these block size debates in hard results. Who would thought we'll get to test them this early?
663  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NiceHash Hacked: $62 Million Stolen? on: December 14, 2017, 01:56:18 PM
Just read their last Twitter's post and found out they don't know how the bitcoin work!

I don't know How the people can trust them again? They haven't any basic skills/information about bitcoin!

You can't. This makes me even think more that the hack was an inside job. I hope this gets to be investigated with appropriate legal repercussions. We can't let this hacking incidents be this common occurrences anymore since the tech is getting mainstream.
664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: December 14, 2017, 01:13:07 PM
That is the million dollar question; when to invest? When to buy? When to sell?

Crypto will always be a game of chance, with a significant risk.

The only way to be successful is to read, study, devote a daily time slot to follow the trends. Unless you are very lucky, there is no other way.

Even trends are highly unpredictable these past few months, maybe this is what coming into mainstream really is about. Guts, luck and maybe insider trading info is what will make you succeed here.
665  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late, to invest? on: December 14, 2017, 11:32:37 AM
I've been wanting to invest in Bitcoin since the 3k$ mark. But I just haven't had the time, yes I know it was a big mistake waiting...
But I have about 4000$ to invest into Bitcoin (It's currently sitting with shares, will take a few days to pull out), I was wondering is it too late to invest it? Will it still grow?

first off, take anything you read on this forum with a grain of salt. we have our share of trolls on both sides: permabulls who think BTC will become the world's reserve currency next week, and permabears who are still talking about triple-digits.

personally, i hate when people ask me for advice about entries. in a long term speculative sense, i think it's always a good time to buy some BTC if you don't own any at all. cryptocurrency will transform the world economy and at some point, i believe there will be a very large transfer of wealth from today's economic powerholders to the crypto-rich. on what timeline that takes place? i don't know. the 2013 rally is a good example: buying at $1000 looked like a great idea on the way up. but then you had to sit through 3 years of market action to see any returns on it.

Will we see a big drop/crash soon?

it's impossible to say when it will happen. i wouldn't be surprise to see a blow-off top into $25,000+ first. but i think there will be an epic crash in the next couple months. i have $$ waiting on the exchanges to buy the blood.

It's all about risk management in every type of investment, especially here where you really need close followup as price spikes are a very common occurrence. One thing you should remember though is that in most investments, long term > short term gains. It's all about holding.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 14, 2017, 11:09:55 AM
I don't know how Washington lost to Brooklyn!!! In reality this was a must win match for them - they now slip to 14-13 in the East and are back in the middle of the Pack.  This will come back to bite them end of the season.
Accept it man that's their fate. You seem to be underestimating Brooklyn Nets not everything that we think of a must win will happen. There were teams that are good at defeating stronger teams and there are teams that are surprising us for their wins. The match isn't so bad in my opinion, it was a close game.

Yes, I am also surprised by the defeat of Washington against Brooklyn, but even more surprising for me is the defeat of San Antonio against Dallas!
Cleveland , instead, won easily with Lebron James who made his new record of assists in 1 match: 17!

What surprising about the win of Dallas Mavericks? Record is just a record.

Try to look at Mavericks pervious game and try to check how they able to give their opponent a difficult time just to win including those teams who are in the top record of NBA standing.

I pointed this I think just last week. Standing is just a number.

Dallas Mavericks able to hold some of the dominant teams in the league and really gave them a hard time to win. One example is their meeting against the Boston Celtics who are in the winning streak that time. Celtics just able to get the lead I think IIRC on a few minutes before the end of the regulation. Dallas Mavericks just didn't maintained their double digit lead upon entering the last quarter. It also happened on their second meeting. They also surprised Washington Wizards. They also able to make Cavaliers getting a difficult won on their last meetings. And I just remembered now how they able to pinned down Oklahoma City Thunders to a large margin.

Dallas maybe sitting at the bottom of the standing but I do want to risks money here when I saw a good risky odds.

Yes true standings are just mere numbers, and anyone from the bottom teams can topple the top guns at any game. But you know what these teams have that those from the lower standings doesn't? It's consistency in every game, and come playoffs it would matter a lot.

Wow, Miloš Teodosić has just returned on the court and already decided match!
He scored decisive triple for win over Toronto Raptors 96:91!
I am glad he is finally back, he is going to be great signing.

One of the best game he had so far. His 3's made the Clippers win this one over Raptors. Toronto is riding on a 6 game winning streak only to fall to the lowly Clippers. It surprising result, but we all know that the game is very unpredictable this season. Lots of upset, underdogs pulling wins. LOL. That's why this season really interesting. And even though that Clippers have so many injuries so far, they still played their best to upset the Raptors and ended up their winning streak. DeAndre only has a monstrous game with double doubles (23 points and 15 rebounds).

Milos is supposedly the one to replace CP3, and from his performance this game, I'm sure he has potential. Really hope he'll develop though, and not end up like Rubio. That guy had so much potential back then.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 12, 2017, 11:53:18 PM
Pelicans did a great job tonight, they let the Sixers score in the 3rq quarter but they made a good run in the 4th quarter.
Rondo is the game changer although he does not really score but tonight he made 18 assist to help his team win the game, good scoring distribution for the Pelicans, Cousins (23), Davis (29), and Holiday (34).

It was a close game. Sixers bench put a gallant fight. They played minus Joel Embiid,  Robert Covington and T.J. McConnell. But they fell short. I agree, Rondo is the big difference, specially with his 18 assists. I think Sixers poured everything in the first 3 quarters and the Pelicans just try to close the gap as much as they can. And entering the 4th, the Sixers are all out of gas, as they were outscored 44-29.
If Rondo will play like this in most of their incoming games surely they can go and proceed to the second round, with the two towers and a good
team leader where he can find good place for holiday, davis and cousins, I personally think that good chemistry and proper players blending will make them qualified as a super team.

Lolz, no way in hell. There are little to no balance in their offense and defense with Gentry nutjob as a coach. They are not beating SA with Kawhi, let alone Rockets and GSW. Hell, I'll be even surprised to see them in playoffs. If they are below 0.50 before deadline, they'll trade Cousins for sure.

I think the point here is that they are improving. Meaning there are still loopholes in their defense and offense which which they need to keep better or become better to make it to the playoffs. I believed that they are underrated at this time. Let's give them enough to time blend specially the twin towers and gel as a team. Its too early to disqualify and said that they won't make the playoffs. They will give a lot of Western Conference team a run for their money specially if the 2 will play together. Only San Antonio with LaMarcus and Kawhi can match the two.
Well, last match vs Rockets was a perfect example why you can't take Pels serious here (even if it was without AD). The Gentry-guy is absolutely clueless, Jesus Christ. They were dominated by lineup with P.J Tucker as center and lost while shooting their bests (FG, 3PGF) in 17-18.

In almost all of their last 10 games, the Rockets dominated with a small lineup with PJ Tucker as center, it's not just the Pelicans. Until other teams can figure how to beat this small lineup out, they're gonna dominate.

Boston Celtics vs Phoenix Suns => over 216.5 @1.95

Dallas Mavericks vs LA Clippers => Clippers +5 @1.9

Brooklyn Nets vs Atlanta Hawks => First Half Pver 105.5 @1.94

The Clips are playing so awful this year even the Mavs may get to beat them.

On the Nets vs the Hawks, I'm going for a Nets win.  Grin
Just forget about the Clippers, they are a very shitty team this season, when Paul was traded, their dreams were also gone.
Now, let's more look at the a more exciting team to watch in the west, it seems like the Rockets has a good chance of beating the Warriors or even beat the East champion, let's see that, I hope their are still open lines for the NBA finals winners so I can bet on the Rockets to win.
Clippers lost because two key players are out Beverly and Griffin. I was also predicting them to cover but after seeing the 1st half of the match I already knew it's a loss.

Betting on Nuggets to win against Lakers tonight. The only reason i'm betting this is because lakers have a terrible road record 2-7 those two wins was against the Phoenix Suns. I might also bet live to take the spread.

I think at this time while Griffin is injured, we should be betting against this team.
I don't trust them anymore, they do not have a calm point guard like Chris Paul who has a great basketball IQ, time to fade them and make money.

But they got a really good deal for CP3. Beverly and Lou Williams were key players in the last year;s HOU roster. They just don't know how to use them properly.

Washington will play against the Pistons. I'm leaning on the Pistons tonight because Wizards don't have Wall and they're the second best team when it comes to covering spreads. Also Wizards have a 3-7 ats record at home. Wizards is still a strong team they're losing below double digits without Wall on their lineup but I don't think they could win against this Detroit team.

Edit : Pistons looked good during the 1st half then 2nd half started didn't score for more than 5 mins now they're about to lose.
Without Wall in the line up the Wizards will pay dearly for not allowing him to play.

The Pistons are a good team with Isiah on their side.
Loved watching them play last season especially at home. They beat alot of good teams there with home court advantage.

Detroit just imploded.  Not sure how you lose that game. Very embarassing
Damn. Even without the Wizards star player on the court they managed to lose it?
Thought the Pistons were healthy this year.
So what is their problem?

Don't worry too much, even the best teams blew off big leads. (Remember GSW's 3-1?) It's all part of the game.

Internetcoinexchange.com STOLE 9 Bitcoins from me.

Long story short, I had 9 Bitcoin in this cold online wallet, unfortunately the guy who runs and operates it stole my Bitcoin and he never replies to any email ever since. I have tried to contact him for several months now, no response. The guy who owns and operates this www.internetcoinexchange.com named "Adam Chodry" a Polish nationality. Here are his details:

I'm sorry for the loss, but well why'd you even use an cold online wallet in the first place?

If you're going for long term storage isn't a paper or a hardware wallet more secure? I'm assuming you did this deposit a few years back?
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next BTC Crash? When? on: November 30, 2017, 01:23:59 PM
Its already happening. Don't miss this opportunity to buy altcoins.
Sell all your bitcoins now!

Actually, most of the alts have their prices tied to BTCBTCBTC, so they're basically getting pricier as well.
It's a good idea to draw short trades at times like these though.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 30, 2017, 01:21:36 PM
Another win for Houston I love watching how this team played, a lots of passes and three points basket, just showing how competitive they are inside and outside the paints, if they will continue succeeding I think they can go back to the next stage easily, I'll be going to spare some btc for them though its really a tough competition inside the west side but let see how cp3 and the beardman will carry the team.

It's a sureshot that the rockets  will move to the playoffs and probably deep into it as well. It's incredible ti watch and it's like watching international plays with how well they distribute the ball and the accuracy of their outside shots. Cp3 been jelling well with harden and the rest of the rockets which, unfortunately, can't be said with the underperforming super team okc.

I also didn't expect that CP3 would really blend well with how D'Antoni manages the plays. Anyhow, it's better since Harden can play more of a shooting guard and leave part of ball distribution to CP3, unlike last year when he completely took over the point guard role.

NBA execs believe 76ers will try to sign LeBron

So they want a ticket too in grabbing LeBron James once he hit free agency?

It's not a big news to me but Im surprised that 76ers can stake big money for this. Why just now? Why didn't risk some before their key players landed on their franchise. With their salary cap size they can acquired big names, not one but even 3. Preparation for much big? I don't think so. They must take note tha LeBron James is not all about money. He have his own set of criterias on where he like to be landed. Goodluck 76ers in competing to others.

Wouldn't he be 34 or 35 y/o by that time already? Even if he's playing on a star-level this season there's no guarantee he can still beat father time in the next seasons. Pretty much a bad investment IMO, unless they'd like a veteran teaching their young stars.

A correction would be nice at this point. A stable rise is all we need and not a bubble, although it really looks like one already.
