1661  Economy / Speculation / Re: We just hit $498.99 on gdax on: May 28, 2016, 05:02:47 AM
It's $497 now on the Coindesk index. Halving hype? probably too, it's already June.

No you can dump ETH for fiat and then buy up BTC with all that scammed money.

Why not go straight, from ETH to BTC. It doesn't make sense.
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: May 28, 2016, 01:49:05 AM
I see most of the people here got into bitcoin because they'd like to earn money on the sideline.

@ontopic my first experiences? I had to recheck every single character on the addresses I was sending to, even if I copy-pasted it already, or scanned through a QR. I was paranoid back then.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2016 Play-Off Discussion on: May 27, 2016, 02:07:07 PM
After winning todays game, gsw will give thier best at game 6 ,cause it will be win or go home for them.
Game 6 at okc the outlook of this game is no blood no foul. They will forced a deciding game 7 at golden state.
if gsw force this to game 7 it would be a good series to watch out as okc dominate the game in their homecourt I just wondering how gsw prevent them to get the wins. maybe step needs to show everything just like what he did today, might needed for him to be more aggressive not only to trust his shooting capability outside but bring threat inside and pass more as well.

The pressure will be on the OKC if it does get to Game 7 so they have to finish the series at home. It will be a high time for betting sites if it gets to Game 7 though.

Even game 6 will be high time. It's already win or go home for OKC, as if they give away this chance to close the series they're pretty much done for.
1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now PayPal is getting a patent on Bitcoin stuff on: May 27, 2016, 08:48:44 AM
it's only a matter of time. Paypal will accept bitcoin sooner or later.
Hope that stop with topics like "Bitcoin vs Paypal".

True. When Paypal split away from eBay some time ago the stage was all set for virtual currency integration. Now we're seeing them move forward with that.
1665  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $475 on bitstamp!! on: May 27, 2016, 08:45:50 AM
Damn and I cashed out some the other day. Bad luck.

@ontopic what do you guys think could have caused this surge? IMO it's still early for the halving surge.
1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2016 Play-Off Discussion on: May 27, 2016, 04:00:02 AM
good job gsw covering my -5.5 betting in the live bets today i almost panic when westbrook got that basket and a rebound if durant made that 3 I think there's a change pace from that game, thankfully that curry and clay made all their free throws to secure my win, gsw still alive see you in okc guys.

Now the question is will they carry on this level of playing intensity onto OKC's turf? If they do, they'll have a good shot winning game 7, if ever, too.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2016 Play-Off Discussion on: May 27, 2016, 12:58:25 AM
Place my bet on gsw for todays game, hope they will win and get this game today to survive for the next game. Hope i would see the monster steph curry again. Ive been looking for it every game. But no monster came out.
We are on the same side mate, we will win actually, just trust curry and the squad of the warriors, remember this is different because they are playing at home, they will not allow the OKC to win in this game.

The ball is round, and their season's performance really counts nothing this playoffs. Let's see what will happen, I'm assuming GSW will win too, but they'd get knocked out the next game. It's the usual turnout for these games.
1668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: May 26, 2016, 04:55:35 PM
One more person with more money in pocket and without ideas in head. What worth more?

I think OP need to pay at least 5 % of this amount to someone, and then he can invest in that. Like this he will just pick up some good ideas and he will not even say "tnx".

If that is mine 20 k, I would know exactly what to do. And of I would ask for advice, with that amount I would even pay for good advice.

+1

This all seems as a great way to pump your sig campaign numbers then the actual place to ask for a honest advice.
If I am wrong, I d go for a few good PoS coins, namely DMD and CLAM.

Besides PoS, you can actually start a legitimate business with that amount of money. You should buy a site, manage it, and profit from it. $20k can take you very far. You should start reading and taking courses now while you still can.
1669  Economy / Services / Re: Selling Instagram Anime BLOG on: May 26, 2016, 04:48:19 PM
I'm interested, but first where do you get the images you post? For copyright issues and such. Do you make them?

BTW this is not the proper section to post, you should have this moved to the Digital goods section.
1670  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: May 26, 2016, 04:38:01 PM
My personal guess is that S9 will not be released before halving, so that BITMAIN can adapt their pricing according to the trading and mining market reaction. If there is no surge in BTC price ahead, it will probably be a couple of months before difficulty settles back to equilibrium.

After the halving, S7s could hardly make any profit without free electricity, even with the cheapest rates on the planet.

That is, if the price would not surge upwards. It's a high-risk-high-reward scenario, so expect a lot of sells before the halving season. The Gh market is gonna get flooded with cheap s7 hashes.
1671  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unable to break $500 on: May 26, 2016, 04:09:27 PM
It might be due to the accumulation that happened due to the expectation on halving. Not because of the Craig or some people's accumulation of huge volume. When you consider the entire user community, everyone were holding for a rise which reduces the circulation. This seems to be the reason for delay to touch $500.

I know this third time it will happen.. We've seen it happening it happening almost 2 times and again and again the bears won. Now the bulls are taking it steadily and it will rise to over 500 again.

Yes, this slow and steady increase gives much more confidence.
We will take time to get to $500, but we will get there.

The thing is once it hits $500 I know a lot would already cash out. Nonetheless, hitting $500 and probably staying at that level for a week or so would set the stage for a leap, probably right before the halving.
1672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 26, 2016, 02:37:54 PM
Just have it stored properly man, after a decade or two you can sell that for probably hundreds. Just have your private key printed and stored securely.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2016 Play-Off Discussion on: May 26, 2016, 07:33:42 AM
I guess we can now count OKC vs Cavs for the Finals. It'll sure be exciting, Durant vs Lebron and Kyrie vs Westbrook. These are the battle among great offensive superstars.

IMO don't count out GSW yet, remember last year's HOU run vs the Clips? They were down 3-1 but then got 3 straight wins, you can't just count out a team because it's 3-1. Besides, it'll be more fun to see a game 7.  Smiley
1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like to hoard your BTC or spend it? on: May 26, 2016, 07:31:24 AM
I only like to spend my Bitcoins into altcoins (trading), i cant hoard it,
because i have the feeling i lose an opportunity.

I spend every bitcoins that i get or have directly into other coins.

Same goes to with me. I love the feeling of having to spend something, be it btc or fiat, to get better returns. It's a calculated risk of course. I never liked hoarding money.  Smiley
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a Coiner, a BitBoy or a SatFlap ? on: May 26, 2016, 07:28:41 AM
I was at one point a Coiner. And now I'm a Bitboy/SatFlap Undecided

Lost all my coins on gambling. Never gamble, kids.

A riches to rags story.  Don't look up too much to this guy.  Grin Grin Grin
1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to store your bitcoins on a mobile phone? on: May 26, 2016, 02:04:40 AM
I used to store about 0.3 BTC on my mobile phone. But my phone got wet and its internal was probably damaged by a thunderstorm, and you guess it, my phone died, along with my 0.3 BTC. I did not keep the seed or private keys else where.

Better to keep multiple copies on a safe place. Well, as for me I have funds on the Blockchain wallet plus I have the private keys printed and stored here at home.
1677  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: May 25, 2016, 05:22:50 PM
If price fall down below 400 usd would it be good to sell it ?
No that is not a really good price to sell your Bitcoins for. I would wait for the price to go up even more so that you can make more of a profit. Be patient and I am sure that it will pay off.

Actually that depends on the margin you're comfortable with. If you're way down and can no longer risk the losses, then that's the right price to sell, be it $350 or $400.  Smiley
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2016 Play-Off Discussion on: May 25, 2016, 04:51:25 PM
Bandwagon More!!!

Just because GSW struggles now many haters popouts in their hiding base station and start crying. When they are on the track you are all silent (not just in this forum). Well I hope to still see you here if miracles will happen in the West.

But Im in the East. Go Monkey James!

Ever since Spurs got knocked out by the Thunder I'm now rooting for them. I'd love to see Durant and Lebron face off the finals again like it was 2012.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To everyone converting BTC to ETH on: May 25, 2016, 04:17:15 PM
I believe a huge chunk of people who went to ETH are trading, because we all know ETH volumes are crazy nowadays. Besides, there's no harm in splitting your eggs in a few baskets, not just one.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2016 Play-Off Discussion on: May 25, 2016, 10:02:52 AM
Oklahoma City Thunder made 19 points difference at half time but Golden State started 3rd period real fast. Now it's 78-70, Thunder still leading but it's so close. BTW Draymond Green +/- numbers are so bad again. He hurts team more than he supports.
It's another win for the thunder today, warriors have really no matched for this game, they are dominated again. I think warriors will win in game 5 and thunder will celebrate at 6.
The warriors for some reason stand no chance at all only game 2 was pretty close but the Thunder gave that away in the fourth quarter. I think that OKC will win it in game 5 they have just gained so much confidence now.
we also needed to consider mate that the game will be play at gsw home court I think the champ can win it  anyhow, we are talking about the number one seeds and the defending champ so if there's a possibility of bouncing back they have all the capabilities, no question about okc's ability to win the west finals but the game still not over and chances still around for gsw.
Next game will be warriors blowout to win in their home court or take the OKC ML to win in that game. Very simple math, the league will make sure to extend the series even at least 6 games because warriors vs OKC is a viewers attraction.

Or OKC will take the series and take GSW's back-to-back championship dreams to the ground. Man, OKC's big this series. Something I'd expect from the team that knocked off the Spurs.
