721  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 03, 2023, 05:24:24 AM
After starting the month off with a nice pump, I feel October will be bullish for Bitcoin. After remaining stable for so long anything above $30k seems overly optimistic. $28k and above seems very reasonable. The U.S. avoiding a government shutdown should have a positive impact on investor confidence. Bitcoin whales are continuing to accumulate so I anticipate upward momentum as we head towards the halving.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two guys that have lost their Bitcoins forever on: October 03, 2023, 04:47:03 AM
The seconds story is pretty insane. He wants to use AI and robot dogs and is being backed by hedge fund investors. I can see why his city council would be reluctant to accept his proposal. If I was a landfill worker I would probably be upset about having my work disrupted by a guy hoping to get rich quick. I can understand his desperation but he isn't entitled to any help that would massively inconvenience many peoples lives in order to correct his mistake.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs the government on: October 02, 2023, 06:02:39 AM
The longer it takes for governments to decide how they want to regulate Bitcoin the harder it will be for them to ban it entirely. People have already seen the benefits that Bitcoin provides. It has gained enough adoption that politicians are trying to cater to that demographic. In order to secure support from those that Bitcoin appeals to they must do everything within their power to push back against those who are opposed to financial freedom.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Way to Mix the USDT on: October 01, 2023, 06:05:02 PM
Or to make it simple, use Tor on https://exch.cx/ to convert it directly. But https://exch.cx/is an instant exchange.

You mean that i use TOR to open this exch.cx and convert my USDT to XMR and then again convert XMR to USDT (to a new address)?

Also, i check that EXCH.CX does not have USDT trc20 ?

Sideshift.ai, FixedFloat.com and SimpleSwap.io all support Tron version of USDT as well as Monero. I've used them all without KYC but if you read their terms of service they all mention the possibility of denying your exchange if you are suspected of criminal activity.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: October 01, 2023, 05:50:21 PM
Next in line is probably Benavidez. Currently, he is the boxer that I think would really match Canelo. I'm not sure if Canelo will win, but if he does, then the finale would be to avenge his loss to Bivol.

Maybe we will see a good fight that time. However, I think that fight is not going to happen this year. We are already in the last quarter of the year, and Canelo has already had 2 fights. I think he will rest in the remaining months and enjoy the money he earned this year. Benavidez also has a great record, but I believe he is not on Canelo's level. He's probably just on the same level as Charlo, the boxer that Canelo beat today. Canelo's biggest challenge is Bivol; therefore, the rematch should happen.

In terms of skill Benavidez isn't a whole lot better than Charlo but he has other advantages. He is a natural super middleweight, he is younger, he is 6'2" (1.88 m), and is a bigger puncher than Canelo. Benavidez could easily be fighting at light heavyweight. He is not somebody that Canelo can just manhandle and impose his will through brute force. Canelo will have to outbox Benavidez but he's not nearly as fast and gets hit a lot more than when he was at his peak. It's a fight that can go either way but I favor Benavidez slightly.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: October 01, 2023, 07:23:35 AM
Who might be Canelo's next opponent? There is nothing for him in super middleweight anymore except more money from other super middleweight fights or maybe if he accepts Bivol's challenge in Canelo's weight division.

In any case, if everyone is listening to Canelo's interview in the ring, it appears he will not retire soon hehehe. Next fight I wish will be vs. Benavidez!

Benavidez is the only fighter worth mentioning. A rematch with Bivol would be a one sided snoozefest. Crawford is too small and would lose similarly to Charlo. Benavidez never lost his belt in the ring and is the current mandatory. Canelo said he didn’t care who was next so there is no excuse for Haymon not to make the fight everybody wants to see.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Way to Mix the USDT on: October 01, 2023, 06:07:41 AM
I believe it is still possible to use Tornado Cash although you will likely encounter problems if you later try to send your mixed coins to a centralized service due to U.S. sanctions.
If your USDT is on Ethereum there is Railgun which can be used to shield your tokens. You can use decentralized exchanges to make a few private swaps and then move those funds into an unshielded wallet.
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 30, 2023, 11:28:48 PM
I agree with most you that Canelo is the superior fighter. He should win this fight…. That being said man those odds seem off. Charlo by decision is a possibility and at +600 its a tremendous opportunity. Charlo is no gatekeeper or journeyman, he is a champ. Canelo is getting up there in age. Its fair to say this will be his last superfight. I saw an interview in Spanish where he was talking about mb doing 3 more fights.l at some point you got to start thinking when does he start falling off a bit…. I don't know if anyone else sees it this way but there is so much value on that prop bet. Anything can happen in a decision…. And i don’t see this fight ending by stoppage.

Charlo is the same age as Canelo so age doesn't matter much. Canelo does have twice as many fights and maybe all that activity and punishment has worn him down more significantly than Charlo. Even a diminished Canelo is still considered one of the best fighters in the world and should be capable enough to win convincingly. Charlo is no pushover but if he's going life and death against guys like Harrison and Castano then it's just impossible to see him doing enough to upset Canelo.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the Bitcoin naysayers? on: September 30, 2023, 10:52:27 PM
They probably invested in some altcoins after buying into the 'flippening' hype and got rekt. I'm not familiar with the users you mention but that kind of obsessive negativity towards Bitcoin is typical of many shitcoiners. These people like Peter Schiff hate Bitcoin so much that they make themselves look like clowns by making the most outlandish claims about Bitcoin going to zero whenever there is a big dip only to be proven wrong soon after when there is a major rally.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ban from a Casino for Nothing Other Than Winning Too Much Money on: September 30, 2023, 10:01:09 PM
I have a feeling Dana might have been exaggerating a little. He even admits at the end of the article that he isn't banned, they just don't want him gambling. Gamblers don't have any legal protection whenever a casino decides to ban them unless they discriminate you based on disability, gender or race. Casinos are just like any other private business and can decide to deny you service for whatever reason. Dana White might be considered high risk for casinos because with a net worth of hundreds of millions of dollars he can always bet the maximum and clean them out if he was on a hot streak.

Weird that all i see is Dana White's side of the story. Decent news site would definitely like to confirm the casino's side, on the reason why he was banned, because that could differ very much from that.

I mean it's plausible he got kicked from that, but most of the times when people get banned from casinos or any other places, the real reason for it wouldn't make the person look as cool as "he was winning too much". Which i would totally say if someone asked why did i get kicked out from a casino. Not because i was harassing anyone or drank too much.

He was caught on video recently hitting his wife in a nightclub so it's possible that he was banned due to his drunken, violent behavior.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi: Falling Far Deeper Into Irrelevance on: September 30, 2023, 08:07:22 AM
Craig only manages to remain in the headlines because he somehow managed to fool Calvin Ayre into funding his scamming. He lost the case filed against him by Dave Kleiman’s family and owes them over $100 million although it’s unlikely he ever owned the BTC they were fighting over and he will just try and drag this out as much as possible.

Craig is a scumbag who will keep harassing Bitcoiners with frivolous lawsuits. Maybe these recent losses has some of his backers thinking they are on a sinking ship and that is why they are abandoning him.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: September 30, 2023, 07:39:40 AM
My first wallet was a web wallet which I no longer have access to. It is easy not to feel much guilt about my past spending when I have no way of examining those details, although I’m sure I spent what would now be worth thousands on some really minor purchases.

I am really glad that web wallets have become mostly obsolete and people are choosing to custody their funds on their own devices.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Several developers, miners, and researchers reported that Bitcoin mining develop on: September 30, 2023, 05:19:30 AM
Several developers, miners, and researchers reported that Bitcoin mining developer name Marathon Digital mined an invalid block 809478.
means the marathon digital got 6.25BTC for mining an invalid block?
do the invalid block which got mined is placed in a real bitcoin blockchain or any other blockchain? or not added to any blockchain?
and if the invalid block was mined, so of course there were wrong transaction(or transaction from 0 balance wallet) or double spending was happened?

Blocks that don't get included in the main chain are not rewarded on Bitcoin like they are on some altcoin chains. The invalid block would have caused a temporary chain split but the chain which included the block from Marathon would have quickly died off because it is following incompatible rules and nobody would have continued mining on that chain. After the block is rejected from the valid chain everything continues as if it never existed and its transactions remain unconfirmed in the mempool until they're included in a valid block.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: September 30, 2023, 12:16:56 AM
Where is now that looser member KTChampions who claimed that Tyson Fury is afraid of Oleksandr Usyk and dont want to fight him?  Grin
I cant wait to see how odds will change in next week weeks but I am betting on Fury without a doubt.
Fight against Francis Ngannou will be a nice warm up for him.

But Fury is a real coward (or did you miss the thread about the Usyk-Fury fight, which was not made just because of Fury's cowardice?) and whatever the final official status of the fight is, it will be an exhibition fight and nothing more.
What a bunch of bollocks that was  Tongue

People always fall for cheap talking points when it reinforces their preferred narrative. It was always obvious that Fury was looking for the best possible deal and wasn't going to give in to unreasonable demands.

I've always believed that Fury would defeat Usyk in dominant fashion and I still stand by that. Fury will use his size to wear Usyk down and stop him in the middle to late rounds. I don't think Usyk is capable of seriously hurting him so Fury might also opt for a more reckless strategy and try to finish the fight early for a more emphatic victory.
735  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Free Tools to speedup BTC transactions on: September 29, 2023, 04:40:28 AM
I know that there is other accelerators, but do they actually work? Does anyone here have experience with services listed above and it worked? I only used ViaBTC and as long as it works, I won't look for alternatives.

I've only used ViaBTC because it was free. I've never used a paid service. I would rather just wait or RBF my transaction. I was interested in mempool.space's accelerator which they demonstrated at the Bitcoin 2023 conference but they have yet to launch it. Binance also has an accelerator where they partner with different pools. https://pool.binance.com/en/acceleration

it does not look that Charlo is two divisions below Canelo. I have no doubts that Canelo gonna win, but Charlo gonna cause him troubles for sure. We would see different Charlo, because he did not have to cut weight to fit into 154. I would not call it a disadvantage for his to fight in new weight class. In fact he risks nothing, as he went up to Canelo territory. While Canelo could lose belts, in case of a loss, Charlo looses nothing. When there is low to lose, he might show different boxing.

Their heights might be somewhat deceiving. We've seen Tank Davis fight taller fighters who were coming up to his weight but it was still a mismatch because of the power difference and being better acclimated to the weight. Canelo is used to fighting bigger and stronger fighters like Kovalev, Callum Smith, and Caleb Plant. Charlo might be able to make weight comfortably but that does not mean he will be able to sustain the punches from Canelo who is by far the heaviest hitter he has faced.
737  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trustable or not on: September 29, 2023, 01:59:51 AM
Aside from the obvious red flags from these newbie accounts trying to promote this, I would not trust any random person on Telegram claiming to be a reputable escrow an another platform unless they were able to use PGP to verify themselves. Telegram handles can change ownership as was the case with Houbi exchange's old Telegram account which now belongs to a scammer.
738  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canada censoring the internet? on: September 28, 2023, 06:07:05 AM
Justin is a control freak and this is just his attempt to grab at whatever he can.

I can’t imagine why a blackface wearing Nazi sympathizer would want to limit people’s free access to information. In his mind Canadians need to be protected from Russian disinformation i.e., anything that makes him look bad, by being manipulated into having opinions which are deemed acceptable to the establishment.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 28, 2023, 05:08:31 AM

It must be true that Ngannou is the heaviest hitter in UFC thats why its unfortunate to see that if he wins against Fury, Ngannou won't get a belt. So the reason the Ryiad WBC created a belt specially for this fight lol

This is somewhat funny https://bloodyelbow.com/2023/09/09/francis-ngannou-vs-tyson-fury-wbc-belt/

The article didn't say a belt name but they may comeup with something the same as BMF.

The WBC always manages to insert themselves into these high profile events by creating special belts. I'm not sure if they're trying to milk these fighters for some sanctioning fees or if it's some sort of publicity stunt.

I've seen some footage of Ngannou training and he is in great shape and he seems really motivated. Even though money was his primary reason for challenging Fury I don't think it's the only reason. He wants to prove that he is taking this seriously and I expect him to have a much better performance than MMA fighters like Ben Askren and Nate Diaz who barely even bothered to train.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: September 28, 2023, 03:44:23 AM
Yes, it's another good bet for us here mate, so I might be thinking of throwing good money on that line as well. Charlo thinks that he can beat this version of Canelo and it seems that the media is hyping him up.

But I think Canelo will not go down easily, as we have seen when his critics is on him, he proved them wrong just like his fight with GGG. And when we think that he could be in the sunset of his career or at least losing a step, great boxers usually had a fight that will show that he still has it, just like Manny when he beat Keith Thurman.

After seeing Canelo's recent performances I would be hyped up too if I was Charlo. Canelo is coming from the loss to Bivol and lackluster decision wins against an old GGG and fringe contender John Ryder. The Canelo we have seen recently seems vulnerable. I'm just not too convinced about Charlo having what it takes to defeat a Canelo in decline. His inactivity and being in a new weight class are significant disadvantages. Despite being undisputed, Charlo has never been regarded too highly and is rarely included in any pound for pound lists. This is due to 154 being a weak division that has not allowed him to transcend in the sport.
