7201  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Anyone have experience setting up Bitcoin/Crypto payment option for E-commerce? on: January 18, 2018, 04:47:35 PM
You can check .coinpayments https://www.coinpayments.net/ there are different tools to be able to accept cryptos. If I remember you can accept ~100 cryptos, it should be enough... You can find API/IPN, plugins (Opencart, Magento, WP, Dupral and so on) and others solutions (simple buttons,...)
7202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: needing some feedback on understanding localbitcoins USD per BTC on: January 18, 2018, 11:26:00 AM
Yes if you deal with a big amount the difference can be big (like +$1,000 while making a 1BTC deal in your example).
But when you think about it, it's just a 10% difference in the price. And of course, you can't expect to see people selling at the current price because, after all, they are there to make a profit Smiley

If it wasn't so easy to fraud with Paypal and people were more honest, it wouldn't be like this. Unfortunately, Paypal protects the buyers more than the sellers generally speaking.

7203  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: January 18, 2018, 11:14:20 AM

Its been 4 days since the day I sent my support ticket but no one replied yet.  Its stressful to see my balance appear in my wallet upon checking the explorer but not on the kraken dashboard. Not acceptable. I tried checking whether they are also active on facebook but also not. They even pinned a message telling us to send a support ticket on the kraken support. I expect I did the right thing but no reply.

They have surely a huge amount of support tickets to deal with, and once the site came back online I am sure a lot of members jumped immediately to send a ticket.
Add to this the fact that some people send multiple tickets for the same problem which doesn't help anyone and make the waiting time worst.

I had the same problem a while back, but after some hours it was showing on the account.
7204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa CEO: We won't process transactions in bitcoin, as it's not a payment system on: January 18, 2018, 10:55:35 AM
There is already a topic here Visa CEO: We won't process transactions in bitcoin, it's not a payment system No need to create a duplicate topic so we can get hope for a forum (more)clean, continue the discussion in the other and search before creating another thread. It helps everyone.
7205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: needing some feedback on understanding localbitcoins USD per BTC on: January 17, 2018, 11:30:51 PM
Because of the high risks of fraud from the buyers by opening a dispute, chargeback, and other nasty methods. Add the fact that Paypal doesn't allow activities related to digital currencies.

The risk has a price and the buyer is paying it

7208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a MASSIVE bubble right now.. POP soon! on: January 17, 2018, 08:52:14 PM
The downside bubble is soon going to collapse soon. Right now we have Wall Street, Asia (taxes), and the double dose of FUD by the media creating a massive Bubble to the downside that even broke 10k at once, and may break it again.

But this bubble is going to POP really really soon - guarantee it.

Why is it that some people only talk about bubbles to the upside? We are definitely in a downside bubble right now for Bitcoin. For alts, I agree there was a large upside bubble. But Bitcoin hasn't even moved much recently. Definitely a downside bubble for a 0.5% adopted currency, and store of value.

January 2017 $1,000
January 2018 $10,000 (surely won't go below $7,000)

It's what I see and I am still happy. People think the value can only go up but it doesn't work like this on markets.
People are focusing too much on China but its nothing about this, it's about the futures contracts that ended on January 17
Let's see what is going to happen now.

7209  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: January 17, 2018, 08:42:01 PM

4. We are reintroducing commonized chips (0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and now 8 BTC). We will keep them restocked.
Reason - when we introduced them they did not had a lot of customers and we were getting out of normal chips often. We have had a lot of requests on support to reintroduce them again.

Thanks ChipMixer!
7210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: January 17, 2018, 07:43:23 PM
Yep, Payoneer doesn't allow transactions related to "digital currencies". However, people may try to use LocalBitcoin to sell Bitcoin for Payoneer, if the funds come from a person and not a company related to cryptos, it may work.
Payoneer only accepts SEPA deposits from companies verified by Payoneer, you can't receive SEPA from individuals at all.

But you can send money to another Payoneer account without SEPA, you can transfer using the email ID of the person like you do with Paypal.
otherwise, you wouldn't see all the offers listed on localbitcoin. See the following link explaining about it
https://blog.payoneer.com/how-to/pay/how-to-make-a-payment-with-payoneer/

@hilariousetc

I tested and right now it seems to work fine here, no message like your is displayed to me. Surely an error in the system. The website starts to be a bit slow, too many people logged in I guess, I hope we don't go back to December lol

7213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Interac eTransfer on: January 17, 2018, 01:11:02 PM
@Spoetnik

Isn't Interac only available to Canadian citizens only?

To use Interac people need a bank account, how it can be compared to Bitcoin? Where is the decentralization in?
Don't consider only the fees (which I don't deny are high) and so what about the use of other cryptos with low fees since it seems to be the concern in the OP.
7214  Other / Meta / Re: RFC: Ads for "Bitcoin Interest" on: January 16, 2018, 11:20:59 PM
I would say it's up to members to make their own due diligence and to decide if a product/service is good for them.
I see a lot of garbages advertised on TV, it doesn't mean I buy everything
And I don't like to have someone/something blocking me thinking it's not good for me, I can decide myself and if I am wrong, I am wrong.
we're not teenagers, you're not my wife Tongue

7216  Other / Meta / Re: Images loading very slow & missing PM notification e-mails on: January 16, 2018, 09:38:56 PM
I noticed this as well with the images. I was wondering why the images I post don't appear or after several seconds. Then when I started to host the images elsewhere I understood that I needed to just use another host images website.
As for the email, it's working fine for me

Hello,

may I ask you where do you upload your images now?
I'm using imgur.

Best wishes.
Sure
I am using https://imgur.com/upload too, before I was using Lightshot
7217  Other / Meta / Re: PLEASE HELP. My post number is continually decreasing (instead of increasing) on: January 16, 2018, 09:32:32 PM
Thanks I find this very helpful topic instead of creating new one  regarding the same issue.
I am also experiencing now the decreasing no. of my post count as well as my activity.
How did that happen? There is no notification that my poste had been quoted or deleted. Thank you

If you posted in a thread that got trashed by a moderator then it's normal. Don't expect to receive a notification for this, there is no need.
Let's imagine a thread with +300 pages got trashed and the system needs to send a message to all the posters, waste of resources for the forum, and useless as I said.

@crairezx20 posted your answer just above

7220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits all-time high on: January 16, 2018, 07:42:35 PM
