Fundraising is over and here are some updates and plans ahead:

1. The (first draft) stakeholder list is now updated to the end of the fundraising.
2. Kooream will update his stakeholder list population shortly after.
3. Now we (me, patmast3r and kooream) will deal with any complaint about the list until everyone is satisfied. We also deal with any duplicate hash case thoroughly.
4. A unified list with all stakeholders will be created from these multiple lists. All accounts without Y condition will be removed. Then we will remove any duplicate names so that an account only appears once in the list.
5. A pubic auditing will be announced with detail guidelines/ suggestions. We will have the public auditing lasting 5 days and then have 2 days to consolidate the list and refund big multi- accounters.
6. A final NEM stakeholder list is announced which is the social contract of NEM project to its community stating that all Nemcoins (minus development shares) would be divided equally to these accounts.  
7. plans for development are announced and there will be a refund period after that.
8. plans for NEM exchanges are announced.

In total we raised more than 400K NXT and 56 BTC and formed a huge and strong community. Our last stakeholder is contraband whose transaction is not in the thread because it is locked before he edited the post. But he sent me the transaction ID via PM. I am looking forward to seeing all of you in the future success of NEM.

Right we do need a killer logo. There is none on the site yet. I am thinking about opening a 99design competition. With all dues respects to our community designers, I want to see more options.

To international viewers, the image on the site is based in New York, of the twin tower in 2012 when it is under a new construction.

I changed ournem.com homepage's image to avoid the image's right issue so it is ready to be shared now. I will add more features in shortly, but the main messages in the front page will stay and should be enough to covey what NEM is all about.

Initially I want to use nemcoin.info domain but now I think we will stick with ournem.com for the front site. NEM is our community/ movement; Nemcoin is our currency/ decentralized technology platform we are using.

Sorry for the delayed update of the stakeholder list due to that the blockchain.info is down and transaction hash cannot be checked. So the list is updated to page 80 at this point. I will continue working when the site is online again. Thanks for your patience.

Yes. I have some other pictures. But my plan is to populate this site with high quality photo-journalism photographs with theme of technology + human condition but with uplifting messages.
So recommend here if you know some images that fit the theme. I have a fund to pay for image rights so world class quality is the most important criterion, not the type of common stock photographs. I am a photography aficionado myself, so I do have a sense of what are good images.

The development team still has the right to refund anyone not happy with NEM community/ movement. You could voluntarily leave too if that what you want.

domain name is not that expensive as well as the design. The most tricky part is to obtain image rights. I have been in talk with John and his agent for the last two days and it is not possible to use this image until April because the image's right currently belong to National Geographic.

So the site is for preview only and I will change the front image soon.

maybe the hard part is for you all waiting or maybe we could do something useful in the meantime. I do have something planned for a next few weeks. Then hopefully we have a clear ETA about Nemcoin. Then I have some other plans. So I hope it would not be too boring for all of NEM supporters.

I am suspicious of FrictionlessCoin's intention. Looks like he is trying to make a POW clone with certain percentage of premine but he still claimed making POS coin, There is no workable pure POS code bases available for him to clone so what he is trying to do ? maybe he tries to re-write on his own because he does seem to have a lot of free time.

Is there anyway to un-unlock the thread ? I messed up with editing the front page and locked it before realizing.

@Moloch: it is not too bad. I do some other things and I am staying up for another hour or so. After that I will go to sleep and let the thread run until tomorrow.

Fair distribution, not completely. Equal shares for ALL (accounts) is literally true by design. Not sure I have said many times "My goal is to spread NEM widely and equally to many people (but not perfectly equal)", NEM's claim is fairly modest and we just try to do our best with the fundraising's design and goals. Surely someone else could do better in a certain "fair" or"equality" aspect. It is not my purpose to compete in these kind of claims. We are "no envy" movement.

I thought you are referring to bitcoin, or fiat money depending on the perspective.

Well what can I do ? it is self-moderated thread and it is Bitcointalk's policy. We will move to our own forum at some points though, so these behaviors can be avoided.
Still, I think people do need to learn how to read properly before starting sending money or anything. The scam is so obvious that I won't bother that much  so far.

Chuck Norris will be in. I do plan to have a list of important contributors who can help NEM directly and substantially by joining in.
