741  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bittrex first scams $millions and now joins to self-regulatory group on: August 22, 2018, 01:54:23 PM
One thing always comes as a surprise: - The United States being so strict with cyber laws and laws in general, how come they let these scammers run free knowing there are thousands of customers with an accusation against them? Even if the targets weren't from the USA but still money is stolen and it's being regulated in the market. Is there a chance these scums would bribe the agents?
742  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cyro-Digital shady Marketing Agency ( CyroDigital) ran by Sadiq Raza + blackmail on: August 22, 2018, 01:45:50 PM
Rule of thumb while outsourcing your projects to agencies - If they belong from India/China/Bangladesh/Indonesia/ other third world countries, ignore them. You have better options around. For the established ones, see what projects they have worked in the past, check the statistics, see the outcome and then use a escrow with a proper contract signed by both the parties.

P.S : Sadiq Raza is twat from New Delhi who can't market his own agency. Wonder how would he market another company.
743  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why after all this time is 'crypto journalism' so shit? on: August 22, 2018, 01:39:20 PM
Take a look around, around 70% of the traffic on this forum don't have their own wallet yet and are mostly dependent on exchange wallets. That is a rough estimate but you get the point, the news wants to carter for that kind of audience because they know the rest 30% are likely to not give a rat's ass about their opinions.

Many people still perceive bitcoin as a way to get rich and not a system made to replace the banks. Such news is perfectly suited for these idiots.

I'm definitely not going to defend them, but I think they know what they're doing. These "news" sites cater to the masses, and writes "news" about stuff that may not matter or may not be important, but are "news" that the majority are going to be interested in; you know, the people who are only mostly interested about the price of bitcoin and nothing else outside of that.
Touche.
744  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: coingarden.ca - Free Bitcoin Portfolio on: August 21, 2018, 09:35:40 PM
Are you practicing your HTML/JavaScript lessons? Your website looks pathetic and you shouldn't be revealing it to the public at this stage. I'm glad you are open to suggestions but the interface is hideous. It will only make people go away from your site and never come back.
745  Economy / Gambling / Re: ethergamesclub.com | Homemade and unique games on: August 21, 2018, 09:29:51 PM
Not bad. Like stated above, you have got a decent website with bright colors.

We use the best security technology to keep your documents safe and accessible only by you: SSL encryption, intrusion detection.
Does that mean you'd be asking KYC documents for withdrawals?
746  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: August 21, 2018, 09:22:16 PM
Unfortunately, that won't happen overnight. I don't know if you do it already, but you can help clean up the forum by clicking "Report to moderator" on bad posts. Get them deleted or banned!
The problem is, the ratio in which spam is created exponentially takes over the spam being deleted. We need to limit that ratio. More moderators must be assigned to handle reports instantly. At times my reports take too much time to be handled even for obvious spam posts.

Long term, I'm hoping you too would appreciate a cleaner forum with higher post quality.
*Higher post quality in the important boards like Development & Technical Discussions/ Bitcoin Discussions/ Project Development. Right now, what we call as "High-Quality Posters" can't afford to post outside of Meta/Reputation sections.

747  Economy / Gambling / Re: LandSecrets - A blockchain based predicted mining game on: August 21, 2018, 09:13:09 PM
The concept is so difficult to grasp that I rather just play good 'ol dice on some random betting site. The land, mining, height, landsecrets sounds too much fancier than a "dice-roll". Now you know why the gambling scene doesn't welcome new fancy games.
748  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Luckygames.io Glitch/Scam on: August 21, 2018, 09:02:12 PM
Anything can happen when you are playing a game of chance.  There is no glitch nor any scam.
Are you fuckin stupid? Don't shit-post if you don't understand the content.

Its called "Gambling" for a reason. Reasons you are too dimwitted to understand. The house will always win in the end and you will be busted before you know it. All those probability mathematics never make sense because everyone gets busted in the end whatever logic you put in or whatever "strategy" you put in.
Ghosh, how ignorant of a cunt are you? Really, stop the shit-posting man. You clearly haven't read the thread or have any idea what's going on. To top it off, you are calling him dimwitted? You are too stupid to understand the math here.

Simply put - you lost your money because you were not lucky on a dice game. It will happen if you gamble with your money. Thats why its called risky. Suck it up and move on.
Why are you advertising a gambling site in your signature when you know "one loses money if they gamble"?

OP, Mind explaining what is an acceleration in that screen-shot? Does it have anything to do with multiplying your bet by "x percentage" overtime? I wouldn't be surprised if this comes out as a bug.

Luckygames told me they would supply me with a full list of all bets made from the past 24 hrs. Once I receive the list if everything checks out I will close this
What if it doesn't? What if the list is manipulated? Please let the thread stay for the future references.
749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Problem with localbitcoins.com on: August 20, 2018, 08:55:38 PM
I reported them about a clone site http://prntscr.com/kkwjr7

The scammers created duplicate website on another domain and scamming normal buyers and sellers. Couple of months ago, I received an email, immediately i noticed some flaws, and within an hour reported them to LC admins, they thanked me but no response to shut down the duplicate site. Also reported namecheap who provided them [scammers] but still sit is up.
That site is still up and running. Only newbies who started out on localbitcoins are likely to get scammed here. Every other click on that page opens up the login box, which is not the same as the original site. Also, no recaptcha for login is another obvious reason that it's a phishing site.
750  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet delayed withdrawals (over and over again). Avoid them! on: August 20, 2018, 08:51:39 PM
To be honesty, I really don't understand your logic. Lets just say that these gambling sites use the KYC card as a way to hold money longer -- this is due to make the users of their site hate them, and then put shitty feedback about them all over the internet, and then report them to consumer financial authorities in their own country -- which is most likely going to lead to the country telling the company that they're unlicensed and can't service their country with online gambling.
Has this ever happened? Can you present one case where the government of a country has told a bitcoin casino to shut down because consumers raised a complaint? In fact, why would anyone trust their documents with an unlicensed gambling site?

Now through all of this, they held one customer's funds, and now they have lost out on an ENTIRE COUNTRIES people due to it. I don't see that logic at all.
I don't see any sense in your reasoning either. In simple words, could you please explain why KYC is required in an unlicensed gambling?

I think KYC holding of funds has to be done for a reason, any other way is just going to lead to the demise of the company at some point.
Now that's just stupid.
751  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Development of a New Blockchain Product To Solve An African Problem. on: August 20, 2018, 08:46:48 PM
To solve WHICH African problem? I think it's hard to come up with ideas or assist you in any way unless we know what you have till now and how much strength you hold to implement the project practically.

Don't expect Africans to download a core wallet or access the product on a chain. Your solution should be like a decentralized charity that feeds malnourished African kids. Anyone sending money to the charity address must have the confidence that money will be used to serve the purpose it's intended for.
Decentralized charity would be the only way which would really help out it might not completely solve out but somehow it would really be a big help. Ive been looking for those organizations or groups that do have the same motive or project but i cant really easily entrust funds and for op he didnt mention about the exact idea on his mind on what problem hes referring to.
There are good charities working around the corner but you never know what actually happens in Africa. There are many fake charities ran by scammers where money never makes it past the United States. The blockchain based project should be able to replace these with a generic decentralized charity that doesn't involve any middle parties. Only the donator and the food distributor.

What do you need to retrieve forked coins?
Your private keys or seed. If you wish to get your forked coins please follow one of those noob friendly claiming videos on youtube or hire someone with strong reputation. Don't trust any services which don't hold a reputation on the forum. I think @LoyceV does assist people in claming forked coins, message him.
753  Economy / Reputation / Re: Connected account Sr. member, Full member & member, on: August 20, 2018, 08:22:35 PM
Feels like you don't seem to understand how it should be done or you just want to show off my spawing number of threads which shouldn't exist. I appretiate the efforts taken but why bother listing alt's in a new thread when everybody follows this one? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2544574.0

Not like DT members aren't active there.. Unless you have something extra-ordinary to add to the thread, please refrain from opening a new one to list account connections.
754  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Amazix = SCAM on: August 20, 2018, 08:06:54 PM
The process becomes a whole lot easier if you mention the links including
 -  Bounty manager of the project
 -  Official thread of the project

On the bounty page we have,

thank you, I already received payment for bounty.

Did he have to do the KYC? If yes, to what level?  You can ask the team to show in their terms and conditions about the KYC policies and how do they make sure third-party confidential information is safe with them.

Maybe they don't have their support setup with the correct people, but direct messaging on bitcointalk would probably be your best bet.

Goodluck!
More like it wouldn't make a big difference. There have been several accusations against them in the past and they are always too late to respond. Their account is highly active on bitcointalk but the withdrawal process itself is time-consuming. You know the general strategy all these sites use when a high amount withdrawal is requested: - Pull the KYC card! Cheesy
757  Other / Meta / Re: A suggestion to encourage/recognize good posting behaviour on: August 19, 2018, 06:50:00 PM
So you really want to be a step ahead of everything and that only makes you look like an idiot. I mean not "You" but people in general who come up with such weird ideas without knowing the feasibility of it. I get it everyone wants merits through new threads but make sure your content is somewhat practical.

I don't even want to talk about your idea but do you think will it ever be implemented by theymos?
758  Economy / Services / Re: [Wanted] Developers needed for Github Code Reviews on: August 19, 2018, 06:25:58 PM
Once review is complete, we require a short report on the above, in total around 30-90 minutes per review depending on coin
Rates can be discussed once the successful candidates are found, payment to be made in btc or eth
What do you mean by 30-90 minutes of review? Like are the developers suppose to record a video review or talk to you guys over the phone or something? I can help you out doing that for the right amount and how much details do you expect out of the source code/GH repo.

I'll message you my telegram to discuss further should you be interested.
759  Other / Meta / Re: LOGISCOIN ask to pump their thread 2-3 times a day and give coin against merit on: August 19, 2018, 06:18:12 PM
It's also against ANN rules so the thread should be lock & the author ban. vod, if you see this...
Vod can't do anything more than leaving them a negative feedback.. Only GlobalMods/Admins have rights to ban the accounts/lock threads. I believe, their thread should be moved to a trashcan with a warning that they can open a new thread but can't bump it or ask for merits, if found then we can permaban the project from the forum.
760  Other / Meta / Re: What should be included in a newbie welcome message? on: August 19, 2018, 06:16:00 PM
There should be some information about joining bounties. Like "We don't have any problem with people joining the forum only for the sake of bounties but if we come across posts/content that violates any of our rules we may ban such accounts without explanation".

A lot of bounty hunters think bounties are a privilege and it's okay to spam the forum with unsubstantial content.
