761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't wait for the bottom without buying in the Dip. on: September 06, 2023, 09:44:36 PM
If you want to increase the volume of bitcoin in your portfolio, then make sure to maximize your bitcoin accumulation as well through buying in every dip or through DCA, buying every time you have the resources to make it happen. However, if you are into long term hodling, even if you buy at a higher price that will not bother you anymore, because you are going to sell when it only reaches its highest peak, and while the price is not impressive yet, patience will definitely help you more to hold it tight for a longer time.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 06, 2023, 04:38:59 PM
Although, after saying that, that also means that we're truly underestimating Tapales here because we're already assuming that by then Inoue is still the champion and that Tapaes was just a mere ladder to achieve Inoue's target.

Underestimating might not be the best word to describe the majority take on this fight. We are just looking at the closest possible thing to happen.

Don't get me wrong, even though I'm with Tapales to win the fight, it's still tough for me to think how can he even make an upset against Inoue. The Japanese monster is ahead of everything compared to Tapales. We can't compare Naoya Inoue to Murodjon Akhmadaliev, the one that Tapales upset why he became a champion. We can't also compare this to starting Pacquiao when he was chosen as a replacement to fight Marco Antonio Barrera. Back then, Pacquiao was already showing potential. About Tapales, he just started to become special because of the upset win and becoming a champion.

Tapales has a low chance of beating Inoue but since he's my fellow countrymen, I will put a bet on him to show support.

Unethical move by me? No, it's just that low chance still has a chance.

That last point on your statement is true, small chance still a chance and even by stats Tapales is by far from Inoue we can't conclude
it yet if a lucky punch will give him the win.

Though we are hi-jacking the topic, it's good to see if Tapales will do everything and bring his name up, whether he loses or he makes an
upset, it will be interesting to see his progress and his fighting dedications.

Let see if what will be the turn of events for both Tapales and Casimero who will going to have their respective fights.

He may have a very slim chance in this fight but that is certainly not a reason for him to give up early because we never know, upset can happen anytime and thinking that it's somehow possible, there's still a chance as long as he will give his very best to show the world that he wasn't just lucky on why he became a champion as he sure do worked hard for it. For me, I don't care anymore whether if he loses or not. What's more important is that he will make the Filipino's proud because he is the first Filipino boxer who will fight for the undisputed level, a feat that Pacquiao could've achieved but this is Tapales now and he is the one who made it first.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 06, 2023, 03:20:46 PM
The Lakers have signed forward Christian Wood to a 2 year deal. Christian had a decent year last year averaging 16 & 7. I’m not sure how he’ll fit into the lineup but maybe he’s a little extra insurance in case something happens to Anthony Davis. Wood did dominate the Lakers in the Christmas game last year…
2-year veteran minimum contract. This is bad for him. He is just 27 years old with lots of talent, I don't why he accepted that low of a salary.
He will only make $2.7 this season and $3M next with a player option included. This is a steal for the LA Lakers.

Sure, this will be a good thing for the Lakers as it will provide a backup for Anthony Davis and they say this is a stepping stone for Christian Wood to establish himself again. I think he didn't do bad during his Dallas Mavericks stint, he was actually helpful to Luka there. The only problem is, he is being forced to be the center instead of being a Kristaps Porzingis type of forward.
Anyway, I will stop ranting about his salary, for me, he deserves more than that. Let's just see what he will provide for the Lakers but I bet they will make him a perimeter shooter instead of a center. Let AD do the bulldozing of the rim.

I agree with you; I think this is a wrong decision for him. He has the ability to play both inside and outside, so perhaps he's just searching for a team that could be the right fit for him. However, accepting such a small salary, I believe he may be wasting his time. I'm not sure if it's his agent's capability or if he's rushing his decision, but this is quite shocking. He could potentially earn more if he doesn't rush into his choices.

This is indeed a steal for the Lakers here, but I just hope that they should've offered him a bigger amount even if it is just a 2-year deal as they sure already do know his worth and he's not the kind of player who should they doubt first if he can be useful or not because Wood already showed his capabilities during his run with the Mavericks and Rockets where he was averaging very decently whether from the paint or beyond the arc.
764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found Facebook trading group they work with signals wolf of wstreet on: September 06, 2023, 09:35:38 AM
This what i found over 400 members i'll join becouse i want to trade together like team they are ispired by wall Street ...i like to slogan "u got to pump up rookie numbers "  Nice idea

Their Facebook link so far looking decent group

Link: https://m.facebook.com/groups/3093147371003425/
Are you sure on this number of members? But still, that will never guarantee the authenticity of such trading group since most of them are here to steal our funds and not to protect us from scams. That is the reality with trading groups nowadays no matter how they link their name on Wall Street. Besides, no one will easily disclose their trading signals if those are valuable and are working for them. Probably they’re no longer profitable with it and just want to lure other people to believe in them.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: September 04, 2023, 04:10:10 PM
Security is the one thing I am worried about, the rest can be handled well. The organizations, the events, the products that is needed, everything will be there and will be fine and I do not think any problems will arise at all in any of the nations.

The one and only thing I am not certain about is security,  because there will be a lot of people riled up at the games and they will need a lot of extra security for it, Mexico is already known as a dangerous nation, true or not there is a rumor about it at least, and Canada doesn't have any which means they also do not have enough law enforcement to spare for hundreds of thousands of new people as well, and USA already has troubles as we know. It is going to be tough without a doubt.

I think that's one of the few reasons why both Canada and Mexico are only offered 10 games each, their resources alone are not enough to take point for the event's security because if they focus on that area, some areas would be at risk as well. We know that there will be some threats (it may be an empty threat or not) but it will be the security's responsibility to settle it without making the people panic so that the games will happen as smoothly as possible.

While for the games that will happen in US soil, it will be safe to assume that all games will happen as planned without any hurdles because they have enough resources and manpower to do the job while the people spectating the event are enjoying. Regarding that, it's expected that their securities will be heightened during the whole duration.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 04, 2023, 03:41:47 PM
It's truly a mystery if who can crack Naoya Inoue open because apart from his prowess, his jaw seems to be as hard as his punches. And at 118, he did already show that he was really unstoppable and seeing how he beat Fulton on his debut at 122, it's hard for me to say that there will be someone that who can crack him open in this weight class. Not to underestimate but I don't think that Tapales is the man who can do it.
Being honest is good, even though Tapales is our very own, it's hard to be biased. Inoue is the better fighter, and most likely, he will win the fight. His camp is probably already planning for his next fight, as Tapales doesn't possess the killer instinct that could trouble Inoue in the ring. Our best chance now to witness a great fight is if Inoue vs. Casimero happens. It might not seem as interesting in terms of what's at stake for Inoue, as he would be a unified champion by then. However, in terms of pure competition, I think that's what we're hoping for.

I'm hoping that it will happen though, Casimero should've picked a better opponent that he could fight before this year ends as he needed a much better tune-up bout because who knows, he might be picked as Inoue's mandatory challenger after the fight and yet, he's just fighting boxers that aren't really in the competition.

He should know better because if his dream fight is against Inoue then he should at least make some hype for himself because if there's nothing going on around, I'm afraid that the organizers as well as Inoue's camp might just skip him because there's no benefit in having him at all.
767  Economy / Economics / Re: Is market manipulation a common occurrence everywhere? on: September 03, 2023, 06:26:46 PM
Everyone wields different powers when it comes to business. Some say that cryptocurrency prices can be manipulated by wealthy individuals. Despite being decentralized, it seems that price movements can be controlled by specific entities.

So, in your opinion, can everything related to money in this world be manipulated? For instance, do you believe that the value of the USD or the largest stock market in the US can be manipulated by a few individuals?

What kind of people are capable of market manipulation?
The big whales in the market be it in crypto or fiat, will always have the chance to manipulate the market and its market value. This is very common nowadays, not just in the business world, but even in our own government as there will always be manipulation from the higher positions above. Sad to say, those have become uncontrollable probably because wealthy people have always been making higher influence. However, when it comes to crypto, manipulation is observed less in decentralized market compared to centralized ones. That’s one advantage bitcoin has.
768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH LESS MONEY? on: September 03, 2023, 05:38:12 PM
In reality, it’s actually hard to make your money double or triple from its capital if you only have less money from the start. Everything that creates bigger profits started with bigger amount of capital as well. Even if we say maximize risk taking, the result will still be limited. Except if you have exceptional skills and potentials as a successful trader, I know you can always make find ways to maximize your profits regardless the amount of your starting capital. Trading is naturally hard, but if you can take advantage every opportunity around, you will definitely make a good living from it.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 03, 2023, 02:00:49 PM
Big win by Germany against Slovenia; I think they are the real deal in this tournament.

The spread was -4.5 in favor of Germany, making them slight favorites, but it turned out to be a massacre as they routed Slovenia.

The final score was 100-71, with Dennis Schröder still leading the scoring for Germany with 24 points. It's a significant statement win, and if I'm not mistaken, they remain undefeated.

They had a slow start yet it became a good game when both teams are already warm enough until they both get hot, and eventually, Germany handed Slovenia its first loss after having four win streaks. I honesly thought that this will be a tight game but it wasn't the case because Germany dominated Slovenia and ended in a 29 point game.

So now, Schroder and Germany will now proceed to the quarterfinals of this tournament and yes, still an undefeated. Things are getting pretty interested folks and congratulations to all who wagered in favor of the Germany.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 03, 2023, 05:54:34 AM
I think with regards to giving Casimero a chance, Casimero must prove himself a bit more on this weight division.  He must secure impressive wins against his upcoming opponent to impress the boxing council and possibly consider him as the top contender of that division.
He certainly needs to prove everything in this division because it's not the same anymore when he was still at 118 where he dominated each and every opponent he faced.
This time, it's new to him and the people, even the bodies are still not that convinced of what he did hence why he got a much lower rank because if these bodies have thought the opposite then Casimero should've started in the Top 10 like the other boxers who made a name in their previous weight classes.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: September 02, 2023, 09:43:11 PM
Almost everyone in the forum loves the bull market than the bear market though it has not scientifically proven but people love the bull market more than the bear market, and upon known this, there are some people who are interested in the bear market because they are using the bear to accumulate and store their wallets with enough bitcoins so I decided to know the opinion of the forum users. Among the two which of them do you prefer, is it the bull market or the Bear Market? And why?
Some are investing for the bull market  and once the bull market comes they offload the wallet. While.some are perpetual in the holding both in the bull and the bear. So where do you belong? Is the bull market is more important than the bear market? And if I may ask, which one is the best?

I think that the most adorable market is the market which gives you some profit. Some traders play bullish and earn, some earn during bear market. So the only thing that matters is the algorithm chosen to get profit out of trading. As for long-term hodling, market fluctuations are not so important in this case...
Both are actually giving us great opportunities to earn, regardless if we are a bearish or bullish market lover. Although each of us has our own personal choice, but it cannot be denied that both are crucial in the market. Fluctuations can never be possible without bulls and bears, so most likely these two are extra important for the crypto market to consistently moving. Sometimes, it takes wide experience in the market to make us realize the value of each of them.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 02, 2023, 03:20:36 PM
Steve Kerr is stirring the pot by saying that he would love to coach Giannis, saying he’s not only a great player but also a great person. I think that’s probably as much as he can say without getting fined for tampering, but it’s pretty clear that Golden State is going to do everything they can to try and sign Giannis when the time comes.
Yeah, it will be a limited statement, or else the NBA will be on his tail.  Cheesy
Signing Giannis to the Golden State Warriors will probably cost them a lot of good players. Wiggins, and maybe even Klay or Draymond. But if the Bucks are interested they could take CP3 which means a great deal of money that will be released to their salary cap and they get someone that will be worth the price, no disrespect to CP3.
But it all sums down to what the Bucks will need. Giannis is one of the top of the league so I don't think they are just going to let him go. I am more sure that he will make him the face of their franchise.
I've seen some rumors regarding Jrue Holiday trade too but the source is not that convincing so I think it's just a rumor that will die quickly.

Yes, that's what I'm seeing as well, if Klay don't play well in the upcoming season, then I think he will be in the trading block. And if Giannis shows intention of joining, then maybe throw in Wiggins + future draft picks.

Not sure about Draymond though, he is the bedrock of the Warriors so I don't see the management letting go of him. And he just sign a good contract, so he could be out of the equation.

That really might be the case, there is a chance that Klay Thompson will be delivered for the trade along with a few first rounders instead of Draymond as it's always Klay who is somehow not consistent enough compared to Draymond who is always a defensive machine in the perimeter.

The team knows that he is already old and yet they still gave him what he asked because he never failed the team, and next season, it's Klay's time to show if he's still the right man for the job and until then, the Warriors will weigh the things if he still deserves to be given an extension.
773  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 02, 2023, 09:29:13 AM
From my observation and some personal experience, participants move from one campaign to another because of higher number required weekly post and yet the compensation is low, while some campaign requires only few post per week but the payout rate is certainly high. So members will definitely chose those that are convenient for them. Also, having some delayed payments is a red flag. Although I can’t blame the campaign manager of course, but it would be more convenient and satisfying for the members if they can receive their payout earlier or right on time.
774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience as a beginner trader on: September 01, 2023, 09:59:33 PM
There are no experience mate Grin you lose  as a beginner to become a stronger trader  Smiley so for everyone out there thinking of QUITTING QUITTING is not the option here just keep learning  till you  can say "Gone are those days " Grin
Quitting will never make you successful in the end, and quitters never win for sure that's why it should always be discouraged especially for those who aim to succeed and be progressive in the future. Most particularly for beginner traders, losing is always part of trading so for those who lose at the moment, know that you are not going to lose forever as losing is only the beginning to make you a better person and be a successful trader in the end. Do not be discouraged from losses as it could be a good motivation for someone to finally reach his goals and aspirations as a professional and profitable trader.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: September 01, 2023, 01:46:10 PM

If Charlo wins then no changes for what Crawford desires, he will face instead the winner and proceed to his own timeline.

But technically speaking, although everything is possible to happen including an upset win by Charlo, I don't see any advantages he can use against the prime Canelo. I remember when Bivol was facing Canelo, only a few believed that the former would win but the result didn't say the same. I can't apply that same scenario to Charlo facing Canelo.

Anyway, let's wait for the winner of the Canelo-Charlo bout and speculate everything from there.

Both the players Charlo and Crawford had their equal opportunities to win the game. The players should try equal try to win the game. The game between Bivol and Canelo itself explain the exact situation now.The crowd opinion is Canelo, but the same was changed at the end.Bivol win the game with the support of the judges.I hope same will not happen now to Canelo.Even now the crowd opinion will be Canelo compared to the Crawford. When you compared the support of 100 people in the community, the seventy people will support Canelo.

At that time, it was so hard to support and bet against Canelo Alvarez because honestly, we've certainly known him far more compared to Dmitry Bivol who is just a champion on our eyes but wasn't really a threat because he doesn't have someone strong in his record that he already defeated. And so, at that time, we did expected that Canelo can defeat Bivol because that wasn't Canelo's first fight at 175 either as he already managed to defeat a boxer way back named Kovalev.

But then, we thought it wrong because Bivol proved to us that he's definitely a different boxer than Kovalev and can defend his belt successfully unlike the latter. In-fact at that time when he fought Canelo, Bivol was under heavy pressure because it was also the beginning of Russia-Ukraine war.

We can't really compare Kovalev and Bivol though, Kovalev is already old when he fought Canelo, and it's obvious that he was targeted by team Canelo because they know that even if it is a huge jump to 175 lbs for Canelo that time, their chances to defeat him is huge.

And then Bivol was young and has the volume punching that Canelo didn't expect. But Canelo feel proud about that fight and Bivol was almost got robbed by the results from the judges scorecard.

I guess you can say that but you're just avoiding the point, Canelo's camp might've targeted Sergey Kovalev at that time because they believed that Canelo's fire is still too hot to handle by the other boxer that he will come across and just like what they have thought, Canelo successfully defeated Kovalev who at that time was a champion at LHW.

Age might've been a factor, but it doesn't really matter because at that time, Canelo was already unstoppable. And while having the same thought, they tried to approach LHW again because the new champion, who is Bivol, does have a record that doesn't really stand out compared to Kovalev who is a KO artist. That is why they thought that if they managed to upset Kovalev who got a much better rapsheet then there should be no problem against Bivol. And that's where they made a mistake.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can Bitcoin provide food for our table on: September 01, 2023, 09:49:50 AM
Bitcoin trading or investing cannot guarantee sustainable profits at all times that’s why it’s best if we consider it as a side hustle rather than making it as our major source of income. However, professional traders and investors can do more than that. They can eventually consider bitcoin trading and investing as a reliable source of income because they trade with sufficient knowledge and skills, and are exposed to the trading market for years, so they are capable enough to overcome the risks and end up successful and profitable. That way, they can easily provide foods on the table for their family, but I believe if they have stable jobs aside from trading and investing, there will be more security on their income.
777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbies can't profit from crypto without knowing how to trade. Truth or Myth? on: August 31, 2023, 08:50:47 PM
Trading is not the only means to make it big in crypto. If you know how investing works, regardless if you’re not a trader, I believe you will still be in profits as long as you intend to accumulate and hold bitcoin for long term. That way, you can maximize your profits when bull run starts if you also maximize your preparation at the beginning. That means buy and hold a lot of cheap bitcoin when the market is bearish so you can sell them when the market is giving a go signal to sell for profits.
778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: August 30, 2023, 09:42:38 AM
Yep, the world of Bitcoin offers more than just holding your coins! Its price swings can be a trader's paradise if played right and one takes proper advantage of the volatility. While the long-term holding strategy has its pros, experienced users who understands trading can make some good profit by day trading. That being said, it's not for those that can't afford to risk, and one should definitely educate themselves thoroughly before diving in. I've seen a bunch of people check out resources like the one you linked and it does help to get the basics down. But always remember, with reading or watching tutorials won't make you an expert. You need to trade, make errors and learn from it to eventually become good in trading. The risks involved is much higher than just holding. Hence, most people prefer holding since you still make profit in the long run.
That is the reason why trading is not for everyone. Even though a lot of bitcoin hodlers would want to learn trading as well, but if they don’t have the required skills and trading experiences, they will never be profitable traders in the end. So it’s only a waste of time and effort when you are trying to trade and has still no positive outcome in the end. That’s the reason why some frustrated traders just settle in long term hodling. At least, they can still be profitable with less risk and less stress.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 29, 2023, 02:12:22 PM
For sure Seth Curry once played in the Golden State Warriors you can say he is no average player indeed, even though he is not an all star caliber he is something that can surely be a mini Stephen Curry, for sure with Giannis Antetokounmpo the team of the Milwaukee Bucks will be a different threat and for sure Seth Curry is still a blooming player with the age of 33 years old he is on the middle of his prime and likely still improving, so for sure this will be a Shining hope for the Milwaukee Bucks,

Honestly, I feel a bit sorry for Seth Curry, as he has always been in his brother's shadow. In his entire NBA career, he has changed 8 teams, and it seems he can't find the team that can bring him to his full potential. By the way, if you check his stats, you may notice that his prime was in the 21/22 season when he averaged 15 points per game. Unfortunately, his playing time was significantly reduced after the trade to the Nets, and he started to perform worse.
I would only feel sorry for him if he's actually as great as Steph and still get the playing time or recognition he deserves. They're not equally talented so someone will be on the shadows. One is a decent role player who probably reached his peak already while the other is a consistent game changer.

That is their reality and they can't do nothing about it as they already know that they cannot have it both ways unless both of them are really talented and skillful enough to become incomparable but we know that there are some cases where siblings have dominated a sports or some other fields but that's not very common and for the Curry brothers, they are just a regular siblings who only have one dominant player and the other one is just playing decent.
