801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luis Alberto Lopez Vs Joet Gonzalez IBF World Featherweight Title SEP 15 2023 on: September 03, 2023, 05:44:56 PM
Joet Gonzalez has come up short in his previous attempts at conquering a world title and I don't see the outcome being any different this time. Lopez's resume speaks for itself. He has beaten an undefeated prospect and has back to back wins in the UK.

Robeisy is not a draw but neither is "El Venado" Lopez. Inoue has options if he decides to move up. Unifying the division is a great way to become a frontrunner amongst those options.

There are some other questions that I have too:
1. Can I use VPN? I can't find answer about that in FAQ page.
2. Let's say I purchased 2500 fun token on hold them on my freebitco account. These fun tokens should give me 4 free spin of Wheel of Fortune. If I don't visit my account for 30 days, will the number of my free spins sum and become 120? Or will the unused WoF spins become nulled after a certain timeframe?

VPN usage is allowed if you are not abusing the site.

There is no rule about using VPN as many people use them for privacy reasons. The only things that are forbidden are using more than 1 account or using bots/automation.

Your Wheel of Fortune spins will accumulate and don't expire.

Guys, what do you think, is it worth to buy fun tokens? As I see, they are losing value but they also give you free spins every day. Where can I find the win chance of different prizes on Wheel Of Fortune? Also, is it allowed to have multiple accounts on this website? Because as I see, it's more beneficial to have 10 accounts and deposit 5000 fun token on each of them instead of just buying 50 000 FUN token on one account.
By the way, commissions that some people have earned are just amazing, I bet this website was paying a lot of bitcoins years ago.
Sorry, I'm new in this campaign, so don't get surprised when you see Freebitco in my signature and questions like this.

When you are making a spin there is an “i” you can click on for information on the wheel prizes. As for the question about having multiple accounts, it will likely get you banned like the guy in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406915.0
804  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: September 01, 2023, 08:21:29 AM
I don't know what's going on here but wait, if chipmixer service is down, why "o_e_l_e_o" is to be blamed ?
And again if anything goes wrong at Mixtum why are you putting a blame on him ? He has nothing to do in all this.

And here you are saying that any issues at ""WHIRLWIND.MONEY", the responsible person is BlackHatCoiner ?
Why ? How  Huh

Several posts in this and some other threads do give off the appearance of being thinly veiled attempts to promote competing privacy services. It seems odd that people who advertised failed mixer after failed mixer are so laser focused on Wasabi. Custodial mixers aren’t held to nearly the same standard despite having a much higher risk of losing money. It is only natural to question people’s motivations when attacking one service but ignoring or downplaying glaring problems with custodial mixers.

It appears to be ByBit moving funds into a new cold wallet.

806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After all these years on: August 31, 2023, 06:04:49 AM
We've been hearing for many years that XRP is partnering with banks and nothing has really come of it. It's meaningless shitcoin marketing. There are much better options that banks can use instead of Ripple like stablecoins,CBDCs, or some other digital currency which they have direct control over.

Bitcoin can't become a widely used global payment network without making significant sacrifices to it's decentralization to achieve the scaling required for mainstream adoption. It will be a long and slow process if it ever happens but it is much more important to remain decentralized and secure.
807  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Has anyone ever used keepser ? on: August 30, 2023, 05:44:33 AM
I have not heard of this but it appears to be similar to Tapsigner which is made by the same company as Coldcard. For users who want a hardware wallet that is easy to use with mobile devices these wallets might be a good option. I don't find it necessary to carry a hardware wallet with me at all times so I would still prefer a traditional hardware wallet like Coldcard or Trezor.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: August 28, 2023, 02:46:44 AM
Aside from the legal concerns from centralized exchanges, another reason why it isn't more popular is because it's decentralized and was built in a time before ICO's and ERC-20 tokens were getting all the hype. It was created for a purpose that isn't all that useful for pump and dump scams. All the marketing and VC money is with blockchains like ethereum and BSC because they are more attractive to people looking to make a quick buck.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 27, 2023, 11:23:35 PM
^ I don't think that they are afraid of Shakur, it's just boxing politics, Shakur is with Top Rank and Haney is with PBC. So it's hard to make that fights assuming this so boxing promotions doesn't want to work which each other.
On the other hand, I read that Shakur will have a incoming fight already, name Frank Martin.

On the losses of the Filipino against the the Puerto Rican, from what I read, it's more of that Diagan was broken down mentally by Collazo and that's why he quit and doesn't want to fight anymore.

Haney is not with PBC, he is a free agent. He even tried to negotiate a fight with Shakur but made a ridiculous lowball offer that shows he is not serious in wanting to fight him. Tank is the one with PBC but his most recent fight was against a Golden Boy/DAZN fighter, Ryan Garcia. If Tank really wants to fight Shakur, that fight would get made. Too bad Tank only seems interested in in-house mismatches or Instagram influencers with strict rehydration clauses.
810  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Trustwallet's fake airdrop paid ads on Twitter. on: August 27, 2023, 02:29:23 AM
These ads are quite rampant and I have come across them as well. Here is a scammer with 12k followers pretending to be Trustwallet Support. While these types of scams were common prior to Musk's takeover, now they can purchase a blue checkmark for a few dollars and significantly boost the amount of people they are able to reach.

811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: August 27, 2023, 02:11:49 AM
Jerwin's only accomplishment at bantamweight is beating a journeyman on a 5 fight losing streak, yet somehow ends up getting an opportunity to fight for a title. We see once again that it's all about being well connected if you want to be a champion. Ancajas is a limited fighter but this is not the strongest division and Inoue is a beatable fighter. At this point another setback would be devastating but if he can win it would be interesting to see him against Alexandro Santiago who defeated Donaire a month ago.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oleksandr Usyk VS Daniel Dubois For The Undisputed heavyweight champion on: August 26, 2023, 11:41:21 PM
I don't think it was corrupt but it didn't look like a low blow to me. Looks like boxing might need VAR now. They should probably just rematch it. There will be enough time to fit it in before the end of the year as Fury is fighting Ngannou so makes sense to do that whilst they wait for Fury to be free which wont be until next year most likely.

There is really no excuses that can be made for this behavior from the referee. It wasn't just this knockdown that he got wrong. The entire fight he was very clearly on Usyk's side. For what reason do you need to break the action after almost every hard body shot Usyk takes and give him time to recover? The referee's actions were deliberate, it wasn't just a bad night or human error. A rematch can't really undo the damage done. Dubois took some unnecessary punishment and his already diminished confidence will decrease further.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oleksandr Usyk VS Daniel Dubois For The Undisputed heavyweight champion on: August 26, 2023, 10:27:23 PM
Usyk won the fight but I honestly can't give him much credit. That was one of the most blatantly corrupt performances by a referee I have ever seen. Any good body shot that Dubois landed was called low and this scumbag ref would break the fight so Usyk could recover. The shot that dropped Usyk was a legal blow on the belt line and should have ended the fight, instead Usyk gets 5 minutes to recover. This disgusting referee should be banned for life but will instead likely be given more high profile opportunities as it's obvious that protecting the media darling from Ukraine at all costs was his intended job and he did it perfectly.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: August 24, 2023, 11:45:50 PM
Click bait no way he jumps up that high quickly.  Bud would need to get acclimated in that weight class before he starts taking on the top dogs there.  I love buds game and lay in on him almost every fight but I wouldn't bet on him to win that one.  Think this is for publicity.

It could be he is looking for publicity but there's also the fact that despite being one of the best fighters of his generation, Crawford has not had the type of paydays that Floyd, Canelo, or Pacquiao have had. He doesn't have the personality to be that kind of draw. After the success of his fight with Spence he is looking for another big payday and to achieve that he is going to have to take some risks.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 23, 2023, 05:32:00 AM

So much for the Fury vs Ngannou clown show, Mike Tyson vs Fedor Emelianenko might just be among the card this October.  Consider this post as a filler though it's a bit of an off-topic, I just want to insert the info to leave a bad taste. So who you got and how does it play out?

This is Fedor's death wish by the way I guess Tyson wouldn't say no to someone that is dying. Mikie still got it, somehow he showed it in his last with Roy Jones.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/08/11/GBygb.png

Emelianenko has long wanted to try himself in boxing, and it seems there was talk of a fight with Roy Jones, but he only agreed to a large fee that none of the promotions could organize. As for the fight with Tyson, I have no idea how it can end - Fedor has already lost everything he could, boxing is not his main occupation for him (although he is undoubtedly more experienced in boxing than, for example, Ngannou), but Tyson is much older.

Seem a bit of a fair match though. Mike is older but boxing is his playground while Fedor is younger but he is fighting in a boxing ring. This fight will be a good undercard for Francis vs Fury as it will also make a huge crowd in the arena. The promotion will be glad to welcome them.

Ngannou vs Fury hype had slowed down to which it really going to need help. What they will need is more UFC fighters crossing to make a lot of people interested in the result.

At this point people already know what to expect so there is no reason to be excited about Fury vs. Ngannou. If MMA fighters can't even beat someone on the level of Jake Paul then it's even more unlikely that one of them might beat a top pound for pound boxer. Ngannou is still in his prime in MMA but without any tune up fights that will prepare him for Fury he is just going to get badly embarrassed.

Mike Tyson is nearly 60 years old. Washed up MMA stars looking for a payday should just leave him alone. I doubt Tyson will accept this fight especially if it's on the Fury vs. Ngannou undercard since he is actually helping Ngannou train and will likely be in his corner.

There is this great blog post from WizSec which goes into great detail how this wallet got the 79k bitcoin and how they came to the conclusion that the funds are indeed from a Mt. Gox hack. While it is true that a majority of their BTC was stolen at a later date there was actually several other thefts that occured throughout 2011.

817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Consolidating UTXOs and maintaining privacy on: August 21, 2023, 06:49:05 PM
2. Do some coinjoins on A, B, C separately and then consolidate only the non-kyc UTXOs (B, C) and send them to D.
After the coinjoins, every UTXO is non-KYC by definition. So, you can spend all the inputs to D.

If you used different Robosats identities, then coinjoining the inputs separately and then consolidating them into D is your best course. If you did use the same Robosats identity for acquiring both B and C, then your best course is to make two coinjoins, A, separately, and B with C followed by consolidation afterwards.

Consolidating mixed UTXOs can reduce the privacy you gain from coinjoining and is generally not recommended. This can be mitigated to a great degree by creating a payjoin transaction where you would join UTXOs with other users to create a payment for the combined amount of your own UTXOs. There are several wallets which support payjoins and Wasabi might add payments within coinjoins in the future but currently the most user friendly option I've seen is Samourai's Joinbot.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: August 20, 2023, 04:18:34 PM
All right, so here is the reason why Devin and his dad wanted to move the fight date earlier. For me, it makes sense to move the date otherwise they will go head-to-head against Tyson Fury's fight against Francis Ngannou. I mean this fight is the better match-up but most likely only for the boxing hard cores. But it is still a bitch move not consulting Regis Prograis especially since he is the defending champion. They can move the fight to a later date like a week or 2 after the Fury-Ngannou and not before that.

The Tyson Fury fight is in the early afternoon so there really shouldn't be a scheduling conflict. We often see that when there is a big fight in Europe or the Middle East, promoters will still schedule events for later in the day in the United States. It would only be an issue if they also want to make Haney vs. Prograis a pay-per-view fight because people wouldn't want to spend on two different fights in the same day. Neither of these guys is popular enough for this fight to be worthy of being pay-per-view. Haney is just being a diva for whatever reason.

Is there a chance some really big shit is going on in their lives, and they are incapable of going online? For like... A month? I really can't believe this is an exit scam. The service seemed legitimate.

I'm really pissed off, and not because I lost money; fortunately, I had grasped that "don't leave coins to third parties" cliché. I'm so pissed off because I've been advertising and recommending this shit for months, in such a way that I'm practically part of this scam. And it's just feels awful.

It makes you question the integrity of the service you're currently carrying in your signature.

One of the main developers for JoinMarket is going through long covid and was offline for many months yet the service still continued running smoothly but these guys can't process withdrawals because they were on a trip? Did that trip include meeting with law enforcement because otherwise this makes no sense and just looks like a typical exit scam.

I don't have a problem with mixers existing and advertising their business but considering how often they shut down due to scam or government seizure on top of being centralized, closed source, and custodial they are at the very bottom of privacy services that I would consider using or recommending.
