I'm happy for Jadon Sancho's decision honestly. Because he had no future at Manchester United with Erik ten Hag because of the problems between them. It is great to see him back at Dortmund as he was playing really amazing there before. Terzic must also be happy to have him. Their season in the Bundesliga hasn't been going on well for them. Sancho could really make a good impact on the performance of the team here. With his contribution I hope to see Dortmund back in top four at some point. Liverpool won't have their next Premier League at the weekend interestingly. It is going to be played on January 21 which will make their fixture quite tight at the same time. Because they have the rematch against Fulham only in three days after that. It is interesting because Chelsea also played an EFL Cup game a day before Liverpool but their next Premier League game is tomorrow.  Anyways there are really lovely games at the weekend. Newcastle - Manchester City and Manchester United - Tottenham are the most attracting ones. I think Manchester City will win with the help of De Bruyne's return as well. I don't expect Tottenham to lose too considering the Red Devils' form but maybe they might surprise me in another tough game like it happened against Aston Villa. |

Anthony Martial's contract is running out by June 30 so he can be signed on free transfer in this month. This is a great opportunity for the teams looking for a reasonable priced striker. However his current salary at Manchester United is 13 million pounds per year as far as I know. If he demands a similar amount from interested teams then he could have bigger problems on finding a team for himself.  Because his performance is really bad now so it isn't convincing for teams to pay that much to him. It is rumoured he has already rejected a couple of teams in Europe and a team in Saudi Arabia. He is expected to stay at his current team until the end of the season. |

Barcelona didn't get a surprising result and made it to the finale in the Super Cup. They didn't feel a serious threat against Osasuna even though the game was played at a neutral location. I thought the finale would be on a far date from now but unlike that it is only two days later. It is going to be really lovely to watch another El Clasico very soon. Real Madrid are of course the favoured side. They have already been doing much better than Barcelona in other competitions. I think they will show their performance quality in this finale as well to become the champions. Xavi had better prepare his players in the best way for a tough challenge. |

Juventus are very comfortable against Frosinone in the Coppa Italia quarter finals at the moment. They have just made the score 4-0.  Milik is having a wonderful day as well because he has scored all of the goals so far. This must be his top performance this season which would help him play longer in Serie A games from now on too. I assume Allegri wouldn't like to overlook his great form at this point. Anyways Juventus had the easiest fixture in this round and they are just meeting the expectations. Liverpool have made a great comeback in only three minutes. Nunez and Gakpo entered the game and changed the direction of the game completely all of a sudden. Nunez made 2 assists and Gakpo scored one of the goals. Klopp has really made a great impact on the game with substitutions. I assume Fulham wouldn't be able to answer from now on. Liverpool should have got ahead in the first place but still it is nice to see them back in the game now. I wouldn't like to see them losing like Chelsea did. Chelsea's result was also surprising to me as they were really dominant. How did Bobby De Cordova- Reid of Fulham play Fulltime tonight? Believe me the coach was poor for not substituting this particular player off this game. He failed to square a ball which should have made it two goals already. Poor decision making and lacked the awareness to scan your pitch. Great to see they trailed and finally got to win the game. Hopes still alive, it does looks like Chelsea and Liverpool will still win and face off in the Semi finals. I also hope to see a Liverpool - Chelsea finale in the EFL Cup but we will see. I'm just worried about Chelsea as they have a chance to not make it there. That loss by 1-0 against a middle-positioned team in the Championship must be unacceptable for not only the supporters but also the board. Chelsea had better use their dominance more effectively next time. Nkunku didn't play in this game by the way and I saw an injury update such as a hip injury for him. Is it really true? I hope it is not because Chelsea really need him in the attacking line to be more effective at finishing. Otherwise their job will be a little harder. |

I hope we see some new transfers by Roma in this month by the way otherwise the rest of the season wouldn't probably be much different for them in the league at least. But in the Europa League we never know. Maybe they can reach the finale again at least.
Your hopes of seeing Roma new recruits may come true soon because Roma have reportedly agreed to borrow Dean Huijsen from Juventus, but if you want to see Roma's great signings this season then you have to be prepared to be disappointed because Roma reportedly only has a small budget for spending players and even according to the Italian media, Mourinho is only allowed to borrow players and not buy because currently Roma is still under UEFA's Financial Fair Play supervision, so it is very difficult to see star players coming to Roma on loan, I think with conditions like now Mourinho can't be blamed if he fails to bring Roma to the Uefa league final, because with the current squad it will be very difficult for Mourinho to reach the final in my opinion and even in the league we can see how Roma are still teetering at 8th place in Serie A with only 8 wins from 19 matches, so what can we expect from Roma in the European league at the moment.? The only thing we can expect from Roma is to be like Sevilla when it comes to the Europa League. For example you must remember how Sevilla were in the previous season. They were in a really bad condition in the La Liga. But in the meantime they started to do great things after dropping down to the Europa League from the Champions League. I mean their journey ended up with even becoming the champions.  Maybe there might be some hope for Roma to be successful here as well while doing inconsistent work in the Serie A on one hand. Timo Werner is back in the Premier League again by a six-month loan transfer to Tottenham. I must admit that he wasn't good when he was playing for Chelsea. He wasn't very lucky at the same time as well but he wasted enormous opportunities too. After coming back to Leipzig I was curious about whether there would be an improvement in his performance as he was great back there before. But nothing changed. Now I don't know whether we can see him making a good contribution to Tottenham honestly. I hope he can prove me wrong about it. |

It was a really amazing game between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the Super Cup. I wasn't expecting this many goals in regular time honestly. I thought the number of goals we would see in this game would be one or two. Real Madrid would win by 1-0 or 2-0. Or the regular time would end up by 1-1 for example. But instead we watched 6 goals and Carvajal really saved his team by making it 3-3 in the last minutes. This save even led to their winning over Atletico Madrid by 5-3 after extra time. But I appreciate both teams for their high efforts. I expected Real Madrid to advance but Atletico Madrid fought really hard. |

Virgil Van Dirk was poor with that contest of the ball, he shouldn't have let that go past him, a tactical foul wouldn't have seen him carded he wasn't effective and I'll blame him for that goal scored.

Milan - Atalanta can be really one of the most interesting games I have watched in the recent times now. But somehow they are still three goals scored in total despite having really bad xGs. I mean none of the teams have more than 1.00 xG now. Atalanta have just got 2-1 ahead at San Siro and gained a big advantage for the semi finals. Milan should fight harder than this. They are already not much impressive in the Serie A because of being away from the title competition. They should be able to stay in the fight for the Coppa Italia title at least. Chelsea are really difficult to understand. How could you manage to be this ineffective at scoring goals while dominating a game? They even lost the game I mean. They should be thankful that the matchup is comprised of two legs. Otherwise they were already going to say goodbye to the EFL Cup which is probably the only tournament in which they can win the title. But after watching this performance I don't think they would be able to beat probably Liverpool in the finale. Liverpool will be likely to have Salah back in the squad until the finale of the EFL Cup so Liverpool would be the winner of the cup I think. |

When it comes to the Spanish Super Cup I think the winner of the Real Madrid - Atletico Madrid matchup will win the title as well. Barcelona will probably eliminate Osasuna without big problems. But I don't like them this season much. Their performance isn't consistent and convincing enough. Real Madrid are already much better than them. Even Atletico Madrid reach the finale I think they are also in a better condition than Barcelona. But Xavi had better prove me wrong for having a season as strong as possible by winning at least the Super Cup title. Lewandowski and Felix's contributions will be extra important. |

Jordan Henderson's name is called with some Turkish teams as well. He is 33 years old and I think he can be useful for Turkish teams for a couple of years at least. We have seen many examples of solid players joining one of the teams in the Turkish Super League after the age of 30. Henderson could also be one of those players if he would like to.
Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are fighting hard for the league title there so maybe one of them would be interested in him seriously to make their midfield stronger. Especially Galatasaray would make use of him while Ndombele is likely to leave.

Boniface's absence will be sad for Leverkusen for sure. However I don't think this will create a huge problem for the team. Because it is like everyone is contributing a lot to the team with goals and assists. I mean even Grimaldo has scored lots of goals and made many assists even though his natural position is left-back.
Leverkusen get a lot of contribution from their defenders and midfielders as well this season. Besides there are solid alternatives in their forward position too. Therefore I still expect Leverkusen to stay strong in the attacking line.

Walter Mazzari I read has been backed by the management, they're trying to make some signatures into the squad, but I ask myself what impact these players would bring into the squad.
Walter Mazzari is not the right manager for them, come next season, even if he's incharge, they're going nowhere near winning that trophy, that'll lead to big names like Victor Oshime and Khivicha Kvaratskhelia leaving Napoli.
Rudi Garcia was given too much time and patience, they should have sacked him earlier enough, bit no much regrets since lessons have already been learnt.
They was linked with Antonio Conte but he rebuffed the offer since he wasn't interstate working with them.
Kvaratskhelia already had a contract running until 2027 but it is really possible for him to leave in the future to play bigger at other top teams. I would have expected this approach from Osimhen especially. I thought he would wait until this summer before making a contract extension with Napoli. Because he could have joined another big team in case of having a poor season. But instead Osimhen chose to extend his contract by one more year which is until 2026 now. Besides they say there is a release clause on it as well but I don't know how much is needed to buy it out. Every source writes a different number. |

I have seen a French newspaper which has written Mbappe has agreed on a deal to sign for Real Madrid. But as usual this must be another misleading information. They just love to create speculations about this possible transfer in every transfer window. I just wish Mbappe to make his decision about his future team as soon as possible to stop seeing this kind of news. But probably this won't happen until the end of the season. Because he is only concentrated on his game currently and doesn't want to talk about the transfer topic much. There is even a possibility for him to stay longer at PSG. |

De Bruyne made a great return by the way. He entered the game in the 57th minute of their FA Cup game and it took him only 17 minutes to make an assist to Doku. It was a really lovely assist as well. This is great news for Manchester City as the games which De Bruyne is a part of are much more winnable for them. From now on I expect to see him in their next Premier League games as well. I don't know if he would be in the starting eleven right away in their next league game. But in a short time at worst he would take his place back there for sure. |

It is a really important season for Mourinho for sure as he is in his last year of his contract with Roma. If there is no proper improvement then he will probably get sacked. Therefore the Europa League is also extra important for Mourinho. Roma reached the finale in the previous season but got eliminated dramatically against Sevilla. Mourinho was really angry with the referee Anthony Taylor as well as you can remember. Mourinho must be seeing it as an incomplete job now so he would be ambitious for the title here. But to be able to reach the finale again they need to play much more extra than now. Do you think Roma management will blame Mourinho for Roma's failure? I do not think so because Roma couldn't bring in the players Mourinho wanted so Mourinho's plans were hampered the situation would be different if Mourinho could bring in the players he was targeting. Even if Mourinho has to move next season it won't be because of his failure but because he wants to find a better club and with sufficient financial support, Roma is currently having financial problems which impacts their performance. We can see with the arrival of Lukaku Roma performance is slightly better and imagine if they could bring in more players. It is the truth that Roma could have made more transfers to strengthen the squad and maybe they would do it in this month. But Mourinho would still be expected to make the team as competitive as possible in the league. Especially if they finish at a worse position than the previous season it is harder to see him extending his contract in my opinion.
