Why are you wasting your time being butthurt over this though? Simply remove the scam sig you have now and move on to another legitimate campaign - problem solved.

It is a little like wasting computer cycles on useless work.
882  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shorena - To -ve reped and removed from default trust on: December 13, 2015, 03:25:38 PM
Everyone makes mistakes though. If someone stops promoting obvious scams and no longer promotes or wears their signatures then I peronally wouldn't give them negative trust.

Shorena contributes in many positive ways to the forum, so I see this as OP grasping at straws.  Roll Eyes
883  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shorena - To -ve reped and removed from default trust on: December 13, 2015, 03:09:37 PM
TBH I don't know about that case. But a dice site is not an obvious scam until proved otherwise. Did he promote it even after it was an obvious a proven scam? I see he updated a previous positive trust to neutral after the scam was found.

On the other hand anything that "guarantees" always doubling your coins is an obvious scam.

To make it short: promoting a known/obvious scam deserves negative trust. Therefore I'm adding negative trust to you now. If you can prove without any doubts shorena was promoting that dice site after the scam was proved above reasonable doubt then I'll add negative trust to him too. Sounds fair?

I feel Shorena is quite within his rights to leave negative trust, and newer members of the forum should be warned about sites like this so I applaud him ( and EcuaMobi for the above quoted ref).

There is always a loser on ponzi and "doubling" sites. While it is permitted to advertise such sites here on the forum, why is it surprising that people that care about integrity give you negative feedback?

Funny enough I read this and immediately thought of the unobtanium thread. Same 5-6 people building vaporware.

As for FLY I have just been reading since I first spoke to community members. A little too gargantuan for my taste, I follow the KISS philosophy in development.

Wait and see I guess.

Some people just like simple. Me too in most cases. But I think the cryptoworld was ready for something new and completely different. I mean we already have 1500 coins that are identical (except for the name). So FLY is a completely different choice. However because its so radical, and the code is so different , it has its challenges. Code is being worked on every day, including right now as we speak. We realize the exchange has been down, and I dont take this lightly. So we are working to get this going as fast as possible. Have you also noticed that almost every other crypto has become worthless? I mean 10,000 sats is the new moon in crypto. FLY is solid as a rock at 200,000 sats. So based on this fact, I would say Crypto IS ready for a change, and that change is called FLY. Also when FLY does become the new rage, other devs wont be able to copy it. Ive offered to pay btc to hire additional devs to work on the code. 10 of them said they would. Only 2 agreed. The rest wouldn't touch it. SO that tells me even in an open source world, there wont be another FLY. Keeping it rare and scarce , and prices high Smiley

Thanks
Vegas

I didn't mean to sound brusque or anything ... I am pretty busy on another development project and didn't feel I'd be able to give the attention to this project it needed. I wish you guys all the luck, the community is pretty open and nice here.  Cool

If however you guys hire bug testers down the road, I will be glad to assist in that area. I have plenty of spare boxes for that sort of thing.

As for the exchange thing, people put way too much effort into that part of things too soon in many case, and that is what leads to failure. Taking the time to build the platform before throwing it out there is good. I'd like to see something actually rare and scarce that isn't listed on every toilet of an exchange out there today.

AWESOME!! YOU GET IT!!!! RARE AND SCARCE!! Thats what fly is all about. People said I was nuts when I said it was going to be listed on only one exchange, and a small exchange at that. But you get it!!

Thank you

Vegas

Trading tiddlywinks back and forth doesn't offer any utility. Outside of an exchange, what am I going to do with 99% of the shitcoins out there besides hope I can cash them out to BTC before they tank? I can't spend flavour-of-the-month coin at my favorite market or website. Still more are just copy-paste clones (as you mentioned) that have serious flaws that have never been patched, with kindergarten-level cryptography. Overnight a dedicated attacker can tumble the house of cards they are made on.

886  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: December 12, 2015, 09:57:30 PM
Well sure drugs, guns, sex shops and porn websites will accept bitcoin ,these way they dont need to declare anything, but well bitcoin were connected to black market on the begining soo nothing new .Bitcoin can easy handle the porn industry there isnt a need of any other coin related to porn to be there but well some people creating coins just to buy eggs soon.

As I mentioned previously, not many people want the hassle of having to buy a separate coin, run yet another altcoin wallet, etc - Especially not the ladies. Most I have done business with prefer just to use bitcoin for it's simplicity and wide acceptance. Gimmicks like chat in the wallet and things such as that don't really lend themselves to a lot of choice.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Team FLY : *NEW WALLET* v1.73 The most unique coin ever created in Crypto. on: December 12, 2015, 05:44:50 PM
Great question. Almost all of us dont sell. We want to keep this coin as difficult to acquire as possible, so we reinest our stakes. The reason why the top hold almost all of the coins is to protect the coins. We dont sell. Also in the near future, there will be an "auto burn" feature that burns a percentage of each transaction and shows in the money supply in real time. Also ALL of us bought our FLY, and continue to. I sold all of everything I acquired for 1.5 years in crypto to buy the largest amount of FLY because I knew it would best the greatest Crypto EVER. So its all fair. Also with my massive investment, it WONT fail. I wont let it.

Also I started with 58,000 coins. I sold about  15,000 coins to those that had none for 50% of the market price to distribute the wealth and balance the richlist. I would only sell to those I knew and trust and made everything public. The list of private sales is on the OP, you have my full permission to contact any of them and verify what I just said. These sales were not made before the coin was released, but much AFTER the coin was released and the value was clearly known.

Vegas

massive investment?  hahahaha
value? HAHAHAHAHA

this piece of shit has ALREADY failed you retard.

no volume + no market support + no adoption = fucking failure

keep pushing your shitcoin.  the 5 people who post in this thread really appreciate it.

888  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Most used online wallet is blockchain.info? on: December 12, 2015, 01:51:48 AM
It's likely to be blockchain.info but that doesn't mean you should use it. With anything that's accessible online, you yourself will always be the weak point when it comes to security. Can you completely guarantee that you will never expose your system to anything malign? Are you willing to bet money on it? Because that's what you're doing if you use an online wallet.

That, and blockchain.info will forever be remembered as the company that built a RNG that produced the same number over and over  Cheesy

Bitcoin and porn are perfect matches among each other. ^_^ In terms of anonymity as well lesser fees, it's easier for both the parties to get involved in porn without leaving any footprints behind. Wink

I forgot to come back here and welcome you to bitcointalk Royal Tiffany.

For anyone in this thread that hasn't visited xotika.tv yet, it is well worth spending your btc to see this girls bits.  Cheesy

My funds are "frozen" there, it has been a long time that i am unable to withdraw.
It always says that Withdraw failed: insufficient balance can somebody help me.
And about the feedback please do not remove until all users are paid and have their money in their wallets.

I'm not removing mine unless resolution is made. Excuses about "you don't have time" don't cut it. If you want to run a business then either deal with it or hire someone to help you if you don't have time! Smiley
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: No block source available on: December 10, 2015, 07:02:09 PM
List of nodes can be found here: https://blockchain.info/ip-log  most any of these have worked for me. I haven't used QT part of bitcoin in forever but wonder if it is related to that alone?
892  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Unobtanium Silver Wallet Plated physical wallets on: December 10, 2015, 03:50:22 PM
I have a silver-plated bar I want to sell (from the firt strike iirc) - will use bigtimespaghetti as escrow if he agrees and anyone is interested.

Haha using my own thread to advertise! Yeah that's fine, please start another thread for selling it though, I don't mind if you link it here Smiley

Grin I will as soon as I can get a pic up, feel free to delete these posts - I was too lazy to PM on mobile ^^ .

Most likely you will have to delete your data directory and start over, not really a simple fix to this. iirc it occurs when client is shut down improperly.

895  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cgminer 4.9.0 on raspberry pi 2 support needed. on: December 10, 2015, 03:00:29 PM
It does. So is icarus like a usb driver for linux?

No, icarus supprt is what will be needed for your block eruptor. Usb support should already be enabled in raspbian (which I assume you are using). I'll see if I can dig up some more info if you have continued trouble.
896  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cgminer 4.9.0 on raspberry pi 2 support needed. on: December 10, 2015, 02:45:07 PM
Getting a 404 not found..

Nvm I'm an dumdass..lol

Don't forget that when building cgminer to enable icarus and bitfury support in the configure flags. (adafruits guide may mention this) .
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Standardizing Tech support help requests on: December 10, 2015, 02:39:34 PM
It would be helpful to know this information from the outset, too often I ignore posts where people don't bother mentioning what OS, etc they are using, but I'm lazy like that.

If it gets stickied or updated it will go a long way into reducing the time it takes for people to get an answer for sure.
898  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cgminer 4.9.0 on raspberry pi 2 support needed. on: December 10, 2015, 02:31:28 PM
So I'm trying to setup cgminer on a raspberry pi 2. This is purely for fun/educational purposes. I have a block erupter and two bitfury asics. I followed adafruits guide. Unfortunately cgminer 3.1.1 is no longer available. I'm using cgminer 4.9.0. I followed all the instructions (being a Linux noob) and I can't get cgminer to open. I get the error usb init, open device failed, err -3, you don't have privilege to access

After looking through the cgminer Readme I thought it might be a permissions issue. I tried what the guide recommended but I either don't understand it or have done it wrong. I got cgminer working with the same hardware on my windows pc so I know the miners are ok.

Any ideas?

I found v.3.1.1 on github in a few seconds: https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/releases/tag/v3.1.1   Might want to give that a whirl. I'll follow this thread and help best I can. Good luck!

Also, ensure that you have the latest usb drivers for your OS. I admit I am not super up-to-date on RasPI's I have mined using other ARM devices under Arch linux though.

If I didn't know better I'd say you were trying to prove me wrong lol
BTW another of the lucky ones: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=121562
Lastly, you yourself were an unlucky one?

I'll say I got lucky, just plodding along for the past few years - I tend to read more than I post so wasn't expecting it. Wouldn't have noticed if mexx hadn't punted it out to me.
900  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: December 10, 2015, 01:47:18 PM
alright, I think it's time to leave negative feedback again. I'm still waiting for payment.

Seems like the best thing to do, and leave it. I received an email weeks ago concerning my feedback and I said I would remove when all members were paid. I never got payment at the old rate as promised during that fiasco but I figured this guy is just exit scamming. I felt lucky to even get what few funds I had left on the site off.
