881  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-06] Over 10,000 People Have Downloaded Fake Cryptocurrency Apps on: December 07, 2017, 06:38:47 AM
Well this doesn't surprises me. Google play doesn't cares whether the apps on their store are a complete scam or not, Have you seen the apps which people buy for $500 just to show off their money? it's basically an empty app with a diamond icon. Not only this, there are wallets which people are using by unknown developers, I hope they realise sooner than later that they will get scammed. Along with that here is something interesting. Lookup the keyword 'Bitcoin Generator' on google and see the results popup. The Ads are a complete scam, they run some fancy scripts and ask for a 0.008 BTC payment to generate the 'transaction'. As bitcoin becomes popular these scams will become more popular.

Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day?
Well if you see at fiat, they crash and recover, so why will Bitcoin be different? It's a currency after all. It will see its ups and downs but the main thing with bitcoin crashing will be, What will make it crash. A way better Altcoin, Quantum computers or a world war 3. The question you are asking has no one definite answer. You are allowed to believe whatever you like Wink
884  Economy / Speculation / Deja vu? on: December 06, 2017, 09:49:24 AM
So we are sitting at 12.5K just like we were sitting at $1,242 in nov of 2013, Afterwards we saw a crash to low of $200 in march 2015, Are we expecting a crash down to 2K over a period of next year? just like it happened back then? My fingers are crossed on this one, I hope it doesn't happens but my spidey senses are tingling. Telling something big is coming up.. Either bad or good, only time will tell.. Are you guys sensing something too?
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Will BTC Faucets Deal With A $50,000 Bitcoin Price? on: December 06, 2017, 09:38:17 AM
Well, they probably won't exist anymore--that's my take on it.  And it'll be unfortunate, because a lot of folks (including myself) get/got their start in bitcoin by using faucets.  Right now moonbit.co.in is paying less than 20 sat/claim, or something close to that.  And I remember when it used to be in the 1000s.  If btc reaches $50k or more, who knows.  I can't imagine running a faucet is all that profitable to begin with.  I've seen a number of them cease operations, so my guess is the operators don't make a lot of dough from the advertising.  Eh.  We'll see if/when bitcoin reaches that level.  That remains to be seen.

Exactly! i remember when i used to receive 700-900 Sat per roll on freebitco.in, Anyway i don't think that they will cease to exist but we will start to see the mining faucets pop up everywhere, or the ones which ask people to do surveys. A faucet market will always exist but it will see some transformation for sure. What these transformation will be? we have to wait and see.
886  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust indicating Red on: December 06, 2017, 06:40:00 AM
Hi, my account is indicating Red at the Trust section. I am not sure of what I did to deserve that. Please, can anyone help me out?

I am so downhearted right now  Angry

No, you exactly know why you got that negative trust.  Roll Eyes Imo you deserve a ban instead of negative trust.
887  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Ticker extension for Google Chrome on: December 06, 2017, 05:42:05 AM
Unfortunately it didn't work Which chrome version is required for this? I selected different exchanges but all of them never went beyond 'loading'. Is this some sort of a bug? I also have a suggestion for you, the page is too childish. Something better can be done. A simple, plain dark background along with some white text, it will make it look professional. Also try to add an 'Average' option like Preev.
888  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz farming trust on: December 04, 2017, 04:51:51 PM

Oh God not another thread! So you are trying to say that campaign managers can't participate in forum trades? If they trade here does that mean that the user is farming trust? Move on from these baseless accusations unless you have solid proof against them.  Roll Eyes

A lot of those are *acting* like they haven't read those just in order to create a field for farming up their other accounts.

Agreed, 90/100 threads are from account farmers, pretending they don't know about the *things they are asking. My suggestion is for the rest of the users. The real ones, Even they fall into this trap and are often labelled spammers right away which brings negativity around bitcoin in the long run. The more time i spend here the more it becomes clearer to me, we need a mechanism to stop account farming somehow and a mechanism which can identify an account farmer from a legit user.

891  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Linking fees to fiat? on: December 04, 2017, 10:05:20 AM

The only thing we can do is to spread the word. Every time there is a temporary surge in transaction fees there are dozens of threads on this forum and plenty of people complaining in chat rooms. That's a good opportunity to educate people how it all works.

This seems like a good starting point and we can go from there. A more fast approach will be to contact the different wallet developers and ask them to make the move. Set the recommended fee to '0.05 Cents' per transaction. I know this will only increase the on chain transactions but Eventually the memory pool will clear out and a new standard will be set. Same can be done for priority transactions and set the 'fastest fee' to 0.50 cents. Don't know how many developers will be willing to do this.
892  Other / Meta / Make Stickies Stand out? Suggestion on: December 04, 2017, 09:56:11 AM
Well we have seen many threads being created on daily basis on topics which are covered in stickies, most of them by the newbies, this increases spam on the forum, One of the reason i believe is that the stickies don't standout. With all these icons being thrown around in every single thread title, it doesn't makes much sense for the newbies, what i am suggesting here is that their colour should be changed to something which will standout instead of which blends in with the forum theme. Would like to hear your thoughts on this.
893  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Buying BTC Dice Consulting $100/hour on: December 04, 2017, 09:52:00 AM
The best you can do is ask the questions here, i doubt anyone 'Professional' from the bitcoin gambling industry will be offering their consulting services. What kind of questions do you have? if you have technical questions like how to handle the payments, the security and hiring the right team. Then it will be better if you ask the public instead of a random guy on the internet. Good luck!

I have been paid at the start, but I don't want to go into specifics about personal information. It was agreed that I can join as a legendary member, promote the ico and that will count as my payment for management.

I see, then its all a misunderstanding, You should have not placed yourself on the spreadsheet even if they agreed, you see how much of mess it created? People jump at the smallest opportunity they see to bring down others. Best of luck mate with other campaigns.
895  Economy / Reputation / Re: Manager cheating campaign? on: December 04, 2017, 06:15:55 AM
I discussed with the ico ceo that I could get paid at legendary rates, but with the ico not being announced yet, I am leaving the campaign and being unpaid. That will leave the rest of the funds to everyone else.

No one has been paid yet, so everything can be adjusted. I never intended it to be cheating.

+ I have not yet been paid for the last 1.5 months for my management.

Hey aventhe, its a total conflict of interest, You should never register yourself in a campaign you are managing, it will only raise eyebrows and will increase negativity around you. LoyceV is managing the bitlogic campaign and i have nothing to do with it, but he is my partner on my team so i decided not to join it because it will be totally unfair to other users.

Unfortunately this reason alone isn't enough, You should have asked for payments for your work. See on the positive side you are getting experience while doing all this for free.

This is just my friendly advice. Don't take it personally.
896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help please on: December 04, 2017, 06:01:25 AM
Hello I am Heavenly,
I am having a extremely hard time getting BITCOINS for the website I advertise on I have a PayPal account but the last company I was getting them through tried to rip me off if there is anyone who can help me I would be very appreciated thanks

What kind of help are you looking for? Your post makes zero sense to me. Are you begging for money? If so begging isn't allowed here, if you don't have the money to fund your projects, you may make a loan request with valid collateral or else you are just minutes away of getting tagged from a DT member.
897  Economy / Reputation / Re: someone leaved me fake untrustworth! on: December 03, 2017, 01:35:13 PM
someone leaved me fake untrustworth!
how can i remove that?

Seriously fake trust? You are the one who was providing a service which scammed the real authors of their content. Which shows you will do anything for money if you get an opportunity. You can't be trusted. People like you deserve to be banned. Do you know how many hours go into creating an asset? Many authors work their asses off to make a quality product but then come assholes like you who destroy their efforts in a matter of seconds.
898  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Investment program looking for new ideas on: December 03, 2017, 12:32:25 PM
Lmao this story sounds fimilar. I have a few questions. Which ponzi scheme were you guys watching?  Roll Eyes
Mind showing us the mechanism you have in place? Do you have collateral for what users will invest with you guys? Mind showing us your spreadsheets? Why should we trust you?  Also at the rate bitcoin is climbing, those $20 or $30 can be made within a day without risking our money to strangers on the internet. Long story short i have seen this story before and it ends up with OP getting red paint all over their profile.

So why people can't just pay you in fiat?
Cuz people can charge back if they fail to deliver the results. That's why. It's a poor scam attempt to say the least.

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.20 GHz

Ram: 8.00 GB

Well your processor is definitely on the weaker side, so the 50 percent bump is justified. Your ram doesn't has much of a impact when you launch a program so you are good imo.
900  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Another stuck blockchain.info transaction on: December 03, 2017, 11:39:48 AM
Huh 188 fees and your transaction stuck !!! How is this even possible ! . I pay $8 max and all my transaction go very easy and fast !

Well it depends on the amount of inputs and outputs a transaction has, lower inputs and outputs mean lower fees and vice versa. In the OPs case, he had multiples inputs and the size of the transaction reached a whooping 44000 bytes, that's almost equalant to 200 normal transactions. Hence the high fees.
