Isnt this one guy in the first row Ben Stiller? Is he now a model? Im not really into the model business, so please be kind if I have mixed him up with a famour model.

902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Quantstamp - The First Decentralized Smart Contract Security Platform on: December 11, 2017, 11:26:25 PM
Ye stay away from ED if you are a beginner. Its a daily occurrence that people loose multiple ETH because of their sloppiness.

Really? How can you loose money on EtherDelta? I think its really simple to use actually. Is it possible to send funds to a wrong contract somehow? I think as long as one uses EtherDelta in combination with MetaMask its actually really convenient to trade on there. But I agree, for beginners it might not be the best choice to start with!
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔵 Datarius 🔴 First Social p2p Cryptobank 🔵 on: December 11, 2017, 11:16:41 PM
Millennium Capital Investment Bank — the partner of Datarius

We want to talk about our partner, the investment bank Millennium Capital, that for 17 years helps companies to attract investments, and investors to earn on reliable projects. From 2005 to 2015, it managed to attract $ 500,000,000 to Ukrainian companies, to work with three hundred private and institutional investors from different countries.

What do bank experts do?

Carrying out marketing research and PR campaigns, identifying advantages and disadvantages of the project, increasing the information presence of the client in the desired niche. They provide legal support, advise and develop new ways to attract investment, conduct trading operations.

For 17 years of work, Millennium Capital has become a well-known investment bank with a large portfolio of projects. We immediately appreciated the enthusiasm of the company’s specialists, it’s contagious. Now the team of the bank helps us in finding partners, and Dmitry Jerichov became the adviser of Datarius. We feel constant support and help.

The Datarius team thanks Millennium Capital experts for participating in the project and their desire to change the world economics.

Sounds like a solid partnership. Its good to profit from the expertise of experienced investment banks and to have Companies/ Banks like them on the list of partnerships, this will surely come in handy for Datarius.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta - Decentralized Token Exchange on: December 11, 2017, 11:13:39 PM
With the current situation of exchanges scamming their costumers and more and more reports about this behaviour showing up, EtherDelta is just like a blessing. Its great that we can conduct our business there while knowing that our money is safe and nothing like this can happen. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2556342.0
905  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HitBTC is suspected of defrauding users' assets on: December 11, 2017, 11:10:02 PM
Please read me!!!!!

If this story is true, it is near to unbelievable. However I would never trade on HitBTC. They are known to do shady business, havent you seen the "you got scammed by HitBTC" memes on telegram or anywhere else? Its like common knowledge that one should avoid HitBTC.

Really sad for your loss, I hope you will achieve something for the good of all traders.

Furthermore Im looking forward to the day when DEx's are going to put those shady centralized exchanges out of business for good.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ICOs right now? on: December 11, 2017, 10:57:03 PM
I'm thinking of participating in a good ICO. A week ago I saw an interesting ICO here on Bitcointalk - Zabercoin. First I kinda looked through really quickly. But after I made a little research I got excited about this project. Their idea of backing crypto with real estate seems interesting. Because real estate has been around for many years and its value is growing all the time.
Have anybody heard of them? I think they are undervalued.

Also I would like to hear your opinions on what ICOs you consider the best now. I want to participate at least in 3 projects and see what will come out of this  Smiley

I would stay away from ICO's like Zabercoin, this will most likely result in you (and the other investors) loosing money. I invested in a similar ICO (wont tell the name here because I dont want them to get any attention at all) and lost more than half of my initial investment before I sold my stack. It was the worst ICO I invested in so far, and Zabercoin will likely be like them.
907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do I exchange my ethereum into bitcoins? on: December 11, 2017, 10:54:38 PM
The easiest thing for you to do would be exchanging the ETH for BTC on sites like Yobit, Livecoin, Hitbtc etc.. If the amount is large then I won't suggest you to use Hitbtc since there were recent complaints about withdrawing and losing assets on Hitbtc. You could use Yobit as it doesn't need any sort of ID verification for withdrawal. There is a minimum limit of 0.05 ETH to be deposited on Yobit and I guess you will be having more than that. If you do the transfer within today and exchange it to BTC then you can get free Super Bitcoin as the fork is tomorrow. Wink
Link : www.yobit.net

I would like to trade also and withdraw cryptocurrency without submitting any ID/docs but I cant still find a trusted exchange to use. I read review on hitbtc and I found many negative feedback regarding the site. I haven't searched about Yobit exchange yet. Is it safe to trade on yobit?

Definitely not! HitBTC is safer than yobit thats for sure, but HitBTC is also not recommendable for higher amounts of money. I would stay away from yobit at any cost. I only do business there if there is really no other way to do it. If you decide to use HitBTC or Yobit (or any other small exchange), I would suggest to do several trades with small amounts of money, this will cost more fees, but it will protect you better from being scammed.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [OMG] OmiseGO - Speculation & Discussion on: December 11, 2017, 10:49:56 PM
Does anyone have the roadmap of Omisego for 2018?

Regards

The Roadmap
The path that leads to Plasma is marked by milestones we have named after relevant terms from the board game ‘Go’ (碁), invented in China over 2,500 years ago. Described in brief below are the milestones up until the OmiseGO Plasma chain is deployed. Greater detail about the milestones below and proceeding milestones will be described in follow up blog posts.
1 : Fuseki(布石) and Sente(先手)
The first two milestones Fuseki(布石) and Sente(先手) are in respect to the white-label /wallet SDK.
In the game Go, ‘Fuseki’ represents the whole board opening, enabling various development and strategies on the board to take place. At OmiseGO we refer to our first milestone as Fuseki because it is the opening to our series of deliverables. Over the past few months our team of designers, developers, and financial experts have been working on Fuseki with our clients and partners to design and develop priority features for the wallet SDK, ensuring end users’ needs are front and center.
Adding further priority features and complexity to the wallet SDK, we refer to our second milestone under the name Sente. Sente is a move in ‘Go’ that retains strategic advantage for the player and controls the opponent’s response. Sente takes into account everything learnt during the workshops and the feedback received from partners during Fuseki. We expect Sente to demonstrate the value of the OmiseGO Wallet SDK and its utility in global customer loyalty programs. We are very excited to be putting Sente into the hands of developers in Q1 of 2018!
The first users and partners for the loyalty programs use-case will lead the announcement of their adoption of the wallet SDK once the solution has been fully integrated.
In parallel to Fuseki and Sente wallet SDK, the team is working on deployment of the OmiseGO network including Honte (本手), Aji (味), Tesuji (手筋) and Tengen (天元).
2 : Honte (本手)
Honte in the game of Go represents a solid move, simple and robust. In Honte, OmiseGO will deliver the OmiseGO network and lay the foundations in preparation for Plasma. Development progress and news about Honte’s public release will be shared in one of the subsequent detailed product blog posts. Honte is currently on course to be delivered in Q1 to Q2 of 2018.
3 : Aji (味)
The closest English translation of Aji (味) is ‘latent potential.’ Stemming from the Japanese term which means taste, Aji represents how stones provide options for play later in the game. In OmiseGO development milestones, the potential being added in Aji is the ability to move in and out of fiat and an interface to the Omise payment gateway.
4 : Tesuji (手筋)
Tesuji (手筋) refers to a clever and skillful move, almost to the level of a ‘trick’ play. It requires the player to read ahead and pick the best play that might be decisive to the final outcome of the game. Tesuji was chosen to represent the impressive, innovative nature of Plasma. Tesuji will utilize the foundations that were built by Honte and Aji and introduce a basic form of Plasma with a novel bonded consensus mechanism.
5 : Tengen (天元)
In combination with Tesuji, Tengen (天元) which means ‘origin of heaven’, represents the center point of the ‘Go’ board. In the Tengen development phase, we take Tesuji and deploy it on the finished OmiseGO network: a massively-scalable, cross-chain-compatible decentralized exchange (DEx) Plasma chain.
The goal is to improve the lives of people through the transformation of finance and digital commerce. By enabling people to both maintain unprecedented connectivity and retain unprecedented control over their individual financial resources, while at the same time have a stake in how the collective resource (the OmiseGO network) is operated, we are attempting to forge a path towards socioeconomic equity in a just, free market environment. In the course of delivering this goal, we also hope to contribute to the technology that enables scaling on a blockchain and to introduce new ways of performing peer-to-peer exchange of digital value.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 11, 2017, 08:54:18 PM
Definitely would not do this. Would be way too risky for me. I mean sure, if you get lucky this kind of gamble can make you rich, but on the other hand it could also make you pretty poor pretty fast. I would, and do, only invest in crypto what I am 100% sure that I can afford to loose. Running into financial misery because of investing in a highly volatile market would be not cool at all. I would rather take out a loan and try it with that (although I also think that this is a bad idea, but its better than gambling with your house).
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BANKEX | Proof-of-Asset Protocol on: December 11, 2017, 08:50:52 PM
After failing hard on Polybius ico, it is impossible for me to invest this kind of project.

But it is really looking good and may buy from exchanges later. But first, I want to see the token on exchanges.

https://twitter.com/BankExProtocol/status/940194698840375297

IOU token is already listed on HitBTC after finish of this ICO you can trade this as normal token.

IOU tokens never represent the value of the real token, highly speculative.

Polybius had that back in time. It was %50 over ico price. After the release of tokens, it dropped fast. Nobody saw that profits.

True, IOU's are like the price expectations of very few traders, they definitely dont represent the real supply and demand and therefore dont reflect the real price. Almost all coins/tokens that were traded as IOU's (mostly on HitBTC) were traded way below the IOU price when hitting the real exchanges.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $500,000 by 2020 on: December 11, 2017, 08:46:52 PM
I definitely dont see that happening by 2020. I think Bitcoin has still a long way to go until we can see prices of this kind (if ever). Im excited for Bitcoin too, but I rather stay realistic than totally overhyped. I would be very surprised if we see $100.000 by 2020. Maybe we will also see $1.000 by that year?!
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: December 11, 2017, 08:31:58 PM
two new exchanges within 5 days, OKex and KuCoin, next one new exchange from the top 10 biggest within few days, + MVP launch max on January 2018, these guys are crazy !!  Grin Grin

people who sold will be crying Smiley this team is really professional, Im holding till 2020 minimum. it will be really huge

Glad to read that we will be finally be listed on new exchanges! Have been waiting for that for quite some time. Cant wait to see the MVP, the competitors will be jealous and weak hands will regret badly to have sold!
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: December 11, 2017, 08:30:10 PM
This much change in price is correction for some people while others are grabbing once again by letting their orders to get filled. It is obvious thing what is been seen right as making profit is buying from fearful people and selling to optimist ones when everywhere is green.

Agree  Smiley

All the negative comments in here fail to address one thing: Bitcoin has no other purpose than being what it is and it's about to hit $17,000.00 Litecoin is looking at $200.00 and I don't see them getting bashed. It's not what "features" a coin has really, it's how the public in general sees it. EMC2 has been around since early 2014, more than I can say for many new coins that some you guys think are God's gift to crypto. There's a lot to say for slow, steady and solid. The Foundation has doing it's best and seems to have recovered and placed the project back on track. I've been invested since shortly after the announcement and I'm happy with current progress. Remember, EVERY coin goes through P&D at some point, no way to control it and it's part of the market, get used to it. EMC2 has a bright future, be part of it instead of wasting your time preaching shit to deaf ears.

Trolls and idiots need not reply, you will be ignored.

exactly, this guy needs an award

Totally agree, this is so true. Its only about adoption and a strong enough community. Bitcoin has many disadvantages compared to other cryptos, but still the community believes in it and this drives its price. Same will be the case for Einsteinium!
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: December 11, 2017, 08:27:31 PM
1 thing is really strange. I want to use the webwallet to store my Tenx coins but there is only a BTC wallet thats shady.
I also sended Tenx to the btc adres, lucky enough to stop the transaction.

Is the team not supporting there own coin? sorry but i really think its shady that you only can send btc to the webwallet,
now it looks like my btc is save there but my tenx not.

Are they going to create the option to store Tenx coins in the webwallet in the future?

dont want to hold coins in myetherwallet!

Other coins are free to use in a closed beta group, that will change in the future and ETH/ERC20/Dash/etc for everyone is just a matter of time. As explained above - MEW is one of the best wallets you can use. Keep your head up - other coins will come.

Do you by chance know when this will be the case? I actually also thought that I could use other crypto than BTC as soon as I get the card. Dont want to spend my BTC, but got some alts that I want to get rid of and I thought it would be perfect to spend them with the TenX card rather than to send them to the exchange just to sell at a loss.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: December 11, 2017, 08:12:56 PM
xxxxx is so much more decentralized than PivX.

See how the top adresses in PivX owns most masternodes, it is crazy.

Get in xxxxx while its cheap because i think xxxxx might just run by PivX in marketcap. Phore is in for a 10-50x increasw once market and privacy smart contracts is released.

Be careful spamming here, it may get you banned.

So true. Would like to see this. As right under your comment the next rubbish fork shill is posted. I actually warned this guy in another thread but Im seeing him shilling his rubbish fork in whatever thread I go. Sad.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: December 11, 2017, 08:08:38 PM
I believe that everyone that is selling now is smart. Everything can happen towards the end of the year. Maybe we even see a crash back to $10,000 or less. I sold half of my BTC when it first reached $16k and am totally happy with this decision. The other half is still there and waiting for whats to come.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: December 11, 2017, 08:06:13 PM
XXXX is the new Btc!
Check it!

Shilling in every other thread doesnt make your coin better. Again: if what you say is true, people will become aware without you. You just shed a bad light on the project.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: December 11, 2017, 08:04:41 PM
I guess medium risk NEO and OMG are good choices. For a higher risk - yield ratio my picks are Aeternity and Ardor. Both seem to be solid projects with massive gain potential in the long term in my opinion.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: December 11, 2017, 08:03:02 PM
I stepped away from investing in tezos during the ICO because there were to many red flags for me. Looking back Im glad I didnt. With all the stuff that went wrong, it might still be a long way for Tezos to overcome this. Will monitor the project though.
