There is a matchup between Leipzig and Real Madrid as well. Real Madrid are clearly the favourite side of it however we might see some good resistance from Leipzig especially in Germany. The first game is there as well by the way. Even getting a draw would make Leipzig happy I assume because they are facing one of the title favourites.
At the end of the day Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid should be able to show their quality by a solid win at Santiago Bernabeu. Leipzig don't have the capacity to eliminate such team after the group stage. It isn't like the group stage anymore. The favourites take it even more seriously after that stage ends.

I don't think there's anyone that still believes that there's a possibility of Manchester United going back to winnings ways again under their current manager Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman like I've said in several times in this thread doesn't act like manager who still got some clue on what next to do and improve the performance of the team. The wins that's been managed by the club this season are all lucky wins and sometimes as a result of individuals brilliance of the club players. Manchester United are yet to play as a team this season and they must sack the current manager and hire a better one who's capable of doing everything that's expected of a top football manager for a positive change at the club this season
It is just really difficult for Manchester United to achieve this comeback with Erik ten Hag as it seems. Because there is still no sign of any recovery. They just continue to lose points which caused the gap with top four to go up to nine points. There are three teams between as well so it is very hard for Manchester United to make it to the Champions League again. I think this must be an enough reason for the board to sack him by the end of the season at worst. If they were a title contender in the previous season then maybe Erik ten Hag would have still had a chance to stay longer even if he completes this season poorer. |

Barcelona somehow managed to win the Las Palmas game but that penalty was like a miracle for them. It is really unbelievable that Las Palmas gifted a penalty to their opponent when they had the chance to get one point. However this win for Barcelona wouldn't change the facts about them anyway. Barcelona are still a problematic team for sure.
With this gameplay it is really difficult for them to stay in the title competition until the end of the season. Even now I don't consider them in it either. Because the point gap is seven now. Girona and Real Madrid are playing much better than them.

Chelsea had a big difficulty even in keeping a 3-0 advantage against Luton previously. They are really in a bad condition this season but they will just do whatever they can for the rest of the season. There is a big management issues at this team but it isn't because of Pochettino for sure. Before he came the team weren't much different.
Boehly isn't good at doing his work in my opinion. This team deserve a much better owner such as Abramovich. You know how Abramovich's times were. Chelsea were in much better condition than this.

Losing Mbappe would cost PSG really a lot by the way. He is like their everything at the moment. In his absence I don't know how consistent and powerful PSG can be. They have made a good transfers for the future maybe but these new players will need to take their time to adapt and improve their skills to create a solid team. In case of Mbappe's leaving maybe PSG would look for a solid replacement for him. But for now I don't know who they would go for. Maybe Haaland? Because his release clause is expected to be active by this year so we never know what PSG will do after that.  |

Roberto Firmino is said to have an intention to leave Al-Ahli these days. Fulham are rumoured to be interested in him as well. Other than them I have heard of some Turkish teams having an interest in signing him too. I think his first choice would be to return to the English Premier League. Because he can make more money there than he can in Turkey and he is already very familiar with the league. I thought he shouldn't have left Liverpool in the first place but of course he must be earning much more money there. But I mean he was doing quite okay at Liverpool and performing even better than Nunez. |

Juventus were indeed very comfortable with a 6-1 win. This must be their easiest game in the season so far as well. Technically they have the easiest matchup in the quarter finals of the Coppa Italia too. But they had better not be complacent because Frosinone are taking this cup very seriously considering how they destroyed Napoli previously. The quarter final matches are only in a distance of a few days from us now. My favourites for the semi finals are Fiorentina, Roma, Milan and Juventus. Maybe Milan might surprise me by losing to Atalanta though but let's see what happens. |

Arsenal are of course not out of the title competition now. But if they continue to be this inconsistent they will be out of it for sure.  Arteta can find a way to improve this form again but it is really difficult to believe in this not to repeat itself. Because this is Arsenal we are talking about. They are always prone to making huge mistakes on the road going to the league title. The best example for that was the previous season. It was their biggest chance and they wasted it on the final weeks unfortunately. Man City are still favourites to win it. I just think Arsenal are a bit short on quality to win it. They don’t have a world class goalscorer, I think their fullbacks are mediocre and both GK’s are not title winning quality. Quality is a really big factor for a team to win the Premier League title indeed. However even Leicester won this title in the past with a quite average squad.  Therefore Arsenal should be able to do this at least for once as well. But they just can't keep consistent. They did it in the previous season too as I said and now they are doing it again. Other than that I agree with your evaluation on their player quality. They should work on signing a solid striker. Goalkeeper has really been a big problem for them as well. David Raya is terrible now and Ramsdale also isn't found good by Arteta too. |

Dortmund can't win a single game for like four weeks in the Bundesliga. This is really a terrible form for them. This bad form caused them to fall behind the fourth team in the standings quite much as well. Dortmund need to do something about this immediately. Terzic will surely be expected to finish the season in top four otherwise he could lose his job. There are some speculations such as Nuri Sahin could take his place by next season. He has become assistant coach now as far as I know. It wouldn't be too difficult for him to take Terzic's place in that case. |

Las Palmas are very close to securing one point now. Just as I expected Barcelona are struggling a lot against them at the moment. They are more effective in the second half at least but this is still not enough to make a comeback. They could have even lost the game if it weren't for this improvement. It is sad to see them playing like this. Barcelona need a huge improvement in their general form as well to get closer to top 2 teams. Because the gap has become quite wide with them already now. They should be able to stay in the title competition otherwise Xavi will be criticised very much for that. |

As far as I have heard there is a possibility for Mbappe to continue at PSG. If this happens it would happen by a contract extension by one year though. Because if I'm not wrong there is a condition like that on his contract now. PSG have been working on convincing him to activate this condition for a long while. First Mbappe looked not much keen on doing it but now it is hard to predict what he will do.
But if I were in his shoes I would never do that. Because I mean you can't still win any Champions League title with this team. The Ligue 1 title is already easy to achieve for PSG so Mbappe must also want the Champions League title the most.

Roma will take certain cups seriously, but they don't play well in their league. Even yesterday, I didn't think they would win the match again because the Cremonese scored the first goal, which is very hard to equalise. Lukaku and Dybala are really trying for Roma because without them, they won't be able to score even one goal again. Now that they've advanced to the semifinals, it will be better for them because they should take the remaining games seriously; otherwise, it will be very difficult for them to win any trophies this season.
Although Roma has a good coach, it seems like it has been a while since the team qualified for the champion league. They are currently competing in the Europa League. Therefore, I believe the only thing the team needs is more players. If they do so and their performance is still subpar, the coach will still be held accountable because Roma is a significant team in the league and their play is subpar.
Roma had better take it seriously while they have a chance to win a title. Otherwise Mourinho's end won't be good here. His contract finishes by this summer therefore he needs to make this team more successful this season to be able to keep his job. But things aren't going well on the Serie A side on one hand at all. It looks quite difficult for them to finish the season in top four with this kind of a form. Therefore they need to fight for the Coppa Italia title on one hand as hard as possible. If they win this title maybe he might have a chance to stay even if they don't finish the Serie A in top four. |

The French Captain has no interest in transfer window currently, he's strongly focused on the performance of the team. I no longer think he'll a part of Real Madrid if he doesn't make the switch whenever it comes out again. Even if he wants the switch to Real Madrid it won't be this January, he still has a contract with them and he has to respect that.
I don't expect a switch personally, but next season? Nah, Man will be off Paris Saint Germany.
Against Real Sociedad, they'll emerge winners, this is the Champions and Luis Enrique will do all he's got to win that game. Impressive performance in his first season is key if he'll stay for the second season.
Exactly the thing you have indicated will happen as it seems. Because there was a recent comment on this by Mbappe. He seems likely to wait until the end of the season. Besides according to his statement maybe there could be a chance for him to move on with PSG as well which would make me really disappointed about his future though. Because I believe he should leave for Real Madrid or another competitive team for the Champions League title. He can be given whatever amount of money he would like to earn. Money wouldn't be a problem as a result. But I don't think he can win any Champions League title with PSG. |

It is really amazing that Kane has been able to score almost half the amount of Bayern Munich's goals in the league so far. He is simply the most important player for the team at the moment, the main goal source. Therefore Bayern Munich had better hope he doesn't pick up a long-running injury in the rest of the season either. Because his presence is very critical for them not only in the Bundesliga but also the Champions League. There is technically a possibility for them to win both titles this season. But they will need to work really hard for that. Leverkusen are their biggest opponent here and they need to improve their performance in the Champions League on one hand. I'm not mind blown, not even boggled, nor perplexed in the slightest way about the name called Harry Kane. I watched him from the Premier League and saw him score 20+ league goals every season. I've also advocated for his move outta Tottenham Hotspur but Daniel Levey denied most of them as they was moves to Premier League sides. He will score more goals as much as more good passes are created for him you get me? He's top five amongst the best goalscoring player's in all of Europe right now. Don't write of Bayern Leverkusen, rather enjoy the competition as it goes, have a side you pick and they fail to deliver will get you disappointed.... Bayern Leverkusen could also deny them the league for the first time also. Of course, I'm not writing off Leverkusen from the league title. I just wanted to mention how much impact Kane has made since he joined Bayern Munich. Otherwise Leverkusen are the leader in the standings currently anyway. Kane can continue to score as much as he wants but team effort brings the title to a team at the end of the day. So far I can say Leverkusen have been better about that. There is a slight gap though considering Bayern Munich would probably win their missing game to drop the point gap to one. I'm waiting for the second half of the season excitedly. |

I was really starting to think that Cremonese were going to do it again. Because they maintained their 1-0 score advantage for a long time really. But Lukaku and Dybala took a big responsibility in the last fifteen-minute period of the game by scoring goals. This comeback brought Roma the next round at the same time. Quarter finals matchups are really fierce ones already. If Juventus get past Salernitana obstacle as well then they are going to have the easiest matchup against Frosinone on paper. Like I said it is only on paper otherwise we shouldn't forget that Frosinone demolished Napoli in last 16 by 4-0. |

Real Madrid had a really poor game in terms of scoring productivity. Maybe they were in full control but this isn't good enough for Real Madrid. Of course they got three points but they still should have been able to score more goals than this. I thought that they would be able to score at least 3 goals so I placed a bet on over 2.5 goals for the game. However they barely won by 1-0. Besides I was hoping to see Arda Guler as well but Ancelotti didn't give him a chance once again. Maybe it was due to the score's being 1-0 I don't know. But I hope we can see him finding a chance later. |

Cremonese are also in last 16 round of the Coppa Italia now. I wanted to mention them as well because you must be remembering how amazing they were in the previous season. They reached the semi finals in the cup by eliminating really big teams consecutively. They were a surprising team in that stage but Fiorentina eliminated them. Now they have a draw against Roma at Stadio Olimpico. It is like a deja vu for these teams as we saw the same matchup in the previous season as well. Cremonese beat them by 2-1 then. I'm curious about how it will end up this time. |

The Ligue 1 has given a break really early compared to the other top leagues. Therefore the teams here will have a really big amount of time to pull themselves together and get readier for the second half of the season. I would like to see the title competition to be fired up by Nice more honestly. Because they really can stay in this for a long time if they work harder.
They lost six points in their last five league games which was a big help for PSG to make the gap five points with them. PSG can easily pull away from them if Nice don't start being consistent again immediately.

Liverpool were really incredible against Newcastle and they deserved to win that game by a much bigger goal gap at the same time. Because their xG was a Premier League record. If we see this high effort from Liverpool more often then they can really break the loop of Manchester City to win the Premier League. However now Salah is leaving for the AFCON. I don't know how impressive they would be in the attacking line until he comes back. Because they are still very dependent on his contribution at the moment. While he is away Nunez had better take some responsibility and play better. |
