901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading new listed coin/token on: December 18, 2023, 07:15:15 PM

wash trading was very common in the early days to make the newly listed token to be more desirable for those investors looking for new assets. but i'm not sure if the exchanges are allowing it or they are doing it themselves. both parties will benefit from it so why shouldn't they? increasing the trading volume certainly will make the token attractive.

forex is very different but the stock market is more comparable to crypto.

902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see repeat of 2017 or new trend? on: December 18, 2023, 06:28:28 PM
We have always witnessed that Bitcoins follow the history. We have seen that in order to achieve new ATH price Bitcoins have always followed a 4 year cycle. Last time it went for it’s ATH price in 2020, so yes 2024 might be big and this time also it seems like Bitcoins following the history. I am very much sure that Bitcoins will cross 70k usd in 2024. So without thinking so much, we should concentrate more on accumulating the coins.

History is often repeated by bitcoin whereas all other coins gets diminish as the time goes therefore trusting bitcoin is a wise decision instead of selecting altcoins which can be a big cause of your defeat.

Last time bitcoin was 69k$ and we are all in hope that this time price will surge more to proceed above 69k$. Every coming halving is well protected than former one therefore it is assuming that very soon bitcoin will procure the worth of 70k$.

From bitcoin investment everyone will reap their bonus so instead of predicting what is better or what is inferior gather more bitcoin as you can and also remember that if you are in patience for falling off price for accumulation then you will not see stimulating featurs of bitcoin.

back when BTC rose to $20k back in 2017, some altcoins like XRP also hit ATH to $3 which didn't happen in 2021. it did disappoint the holders of XRP as it should have gone more than $3 because it's the cycle as expected.

this could only mean that there will be altcoins that will be left out in every bull season. most probably the altcoins that rose to its ATH in 2021 might not perform well in the next bull market. just my opinion.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 18, 2023, 06:16:29 PM
What have your experiences about this been? Is match fixing considered a common occurrence in leagues you place bets at?
From my many years of experience in sport betting, I have got to know that "Fixed matches" do not exist, but I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong and we have anyone here on this forum who may have got one-in-one contract with such game. here is anyone here who have got in contact with getting such games. Because Telegram is one social media which I have known to been the host home for people claiming to offer fixed matches, which are always 100% scam, as games offers never do they play as predicted. Hence, you go about losing both the money used in buying the "Fixed Matched" and the money used in staking the game. So on that note, I rather advise people to go about staking their normal prediction, than hoping for fixed matches.

there used to be users who claimed they knew some matches that were fixed. Some of those matches seem to have been predicted correctly but i think this is because the user can analyze the matches. it's very common for sports fans to learn ahead of the outcome of the match since they know very well the teams who are playing. if you are a bettor you can also speculate winners and some of these sports fan thinks some matches are set up to win.

let's say Inoue vs Tapales, we know very well Tapales is no match to Inoue but they are still going to fight this month. some fans will think this is a fixed match and the only prediction to bet on is which round will Tapales drop.
904  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big buying opportunity might be on the horizon on: December 18, 2023, 05:20:57 PM

approved or not, crypto will still be here creating headaches for them. so they might as well just approve it for at least they can see who's buying and selling.

but we can see already they are already preparing for approval since there are signs of it coming. there is never a better time for its approval than in a bull season so that profit will also flow on those big institutions filing those ETFs.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local Base Or International Based Online Casino on: December 18, 2023, 03:31:23 PM
red or white apple will be one of the craze soon and our kababayans who work php250 a day will be spending half their pay for this game. i have no idea how this game works but if it's Atong Ang da man behind it, it will be promoted widely.

he'll be competing with the government since i heard the sweepstakes we have in our country will be available online too. they kill the pogos and online sabongs and replaced it with theirs.
906  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My Dad got Crypto scammed (UFJPRO) on: December 17, 2023, 08:48:10 PM

if i were in his situation i think i would also just do the same. pay the $10k just so i can get the 90k back. so many scams happening around crypto, just a day ago there was also a victim who somehow trusted someone online again and acted as if their investment manager.

anyone should realize that when the money is out of your control, it means, it's not yours already. basically, you should get them back and if they wanna advise on which to invest, you can do it yourself.

908  Economy / Gambling / Re: Banned from RollBit for Italian users on: December 17, 2023, 07:42:33 PM
Hello everyone,
I've been betting on Rollbit for about two months, just yesterday a friend of mine was banned after completing KYC and the reason they gave him was that he was an Italian user.
Without completing the KYC, is it possible to operate on Rollbit also for Italian users?
I ask for help because I don't want to find myself with blocked funds just for being Italian

Rollbit Razer could you help me?

it sounds like your friend can still be playing if he just wasn't too obedient.
rollbit still has no idea where you are from until they ask for KYC, so my tip is to not submit KYC documents still unless you can't do something inside the casino until you comply.

seeing now that Italian citizens aren't allowed,  you just have to move to another casino. don't worry there are so many Bitcoin casinos. did your friend ever ask to be permitted to withdraw his funds?

909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 17, 2023, 07:25:46 PM
Tony Ferguson is a fighter that had 15 wins in a row and out of 15 wins, 13 wins were by knock out. Isn't that amazing stats? And what we see right now? A legendary fighter getting beaten by every next opponent. His time has long gone, he has to retire to respect himself..

How are you familiar with lightweigth, UFC greed and how crazy Tony is?

Peak of lighweigth fighter career comes at the age of 32-33. At that age, he was one of the best. Now he is no longer peak form, but UFC keep on prolonging his contract, because his name makes good ppv and tickets sales. Add to this, that Tony had menthal issues. And we get what we get now. Old fighter that refuses to retire and UFC that keep on triggerim him to continue fighting.

About 7 losses in a row - he had lost to one of the best. He is like old Ronaldo (not Christiano), that plays against Messi, Ronaldo, Haaland or Mbappe. Yes he runs on the field, he can score, but he isnt as quick, have same reflexes as they. Hope you get it.

at one point in his prime, those guys who beat him wouldn't last a round but he did survive 3 rounds with Paddy.

for the longest time they have been in MMA, fighting may just be the only thing that Tony knows to make a living. so it doesn't matter now whether he lost and was humiliated several times as long as he can make it in these crazy times. after the fight, Dana said he would like to see Tony retire already which i think will soon be goodbye for Tony.

910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Secure your crypto wealth by not having it all in crypto on: December 17, 2023, 06:56:11 PM

i learned the lesson myself when i hold a token thinking it will have a high value the longer i hold it but it's not the case when it comes to altcoins.  in a few days, the price could take a nosedive and you are left with zilch. in the bull market, an altcoin could pump its price to $80 each while in bear season its price could fall to $0.18, this is very true for the token i hold.

it feels like everyone is dumping the coin like there is no community willing to hold to show they support the project.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Clothing Marketplace and Brand altcoin on: December 17, 2023, 06:16:26 PM

you may want to send emails to those altcoin teams that you want to be partners with. where you can design shirts with their coin's logo design as a proposal to them.

i think this is actually a good idea if the team accepts and this is part of the marketing as well for the project. none of them have tried this yet but if there is a success through OP, there will be teams that will follow to be OP's partner.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm after a gambling site for ufc betting that accepts bitcoin on: December 17, 2023, 05:51:08 PM
every sports betting platform lists UFC fights including Stake which is one of the most popular in crypto. but there are more of them since all crypto casinos are already adding sports and it's not just BTC that they accept even stablecoins and a few other altcoins.

props is a no problem and i thnk some of them allow VPN. are you really going to win too much? i'd be watching your bets if you share your bet slips in the ufc threads.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 16, 2023, 09:06:17 PM
its likely common in boxing since this sport is governed by powerful organizations. they provide a very little window for someone to see whether a match is fixed. but certainly, some people can see the details of it, and gives them a hunch of what could happen especially to hyped fights.

when fury vs ngannou was talked about on the big network, they were talking about fury deciding how big the size of the ring was, and it was interpreted that the fight would end in a decision. because they have both rooms to run around.

i saw this joe rogan podcast where they discussed some rigged fights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abZN8MIY6lg
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Just a small simple question. on: December 16, 2023, 08:13:05 PM
Sure I know this kind of stories, I am with crypto since 2016, lost my old profile here and had to create new one. I have to wonder about the new projects like Warthog, or Karlosson how are they hyped. Pandanite lost their chance with the screwed code original dev made and now it being rewritten in java.

But anyway I think that ZeroClassic deserves some attention, even that you might say no. It is worth to have a look on it..

i get it ZeroClassic a privacy coin and was forked in 2018 but i looked into it on CMC and ZeroClassic even today is not on big exchanges. i only see its on https://cratex.io which is not known to many of us here.  it's pumping which i guess you wanna show it to all?

since people are up to trade constantly so looking for a more profitable coin to trade or hold will be preferred to trying out old yet not known or listed on top of the CMC.
if it has a big community i think there will be more that will try shilling it.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How exactly do you find new tokens before they blow up. on: December 16, 2023, 07:31:05 PM

don't forget to look into the launchpads of every platform. binance launchpad i think still are working which they fund projects to kickstart its development. there are lots of launchpads i think the SOL has its own and the one that i recently found out was the TonUP that was doing promotions in the forum recently is a launchpad for the TON.

i think the most legit one where you can trust the project will be developed is the Binance launchpad. for projects that don't go through the launch pad i guess is the hardest to foresee but like they said, you have to do your search.
916  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: December 16, 2023, 07:20:59 PM

if you are going to start signing up one after another to try them all whichever you like the most. start with the oldest casino and are still standing with a great reputation. they have all that i like in casinos but depends on your preference. daily bonus i think is not possible but maybe for those with VIP accounts. they usually have more benefits as a reward for loyalty i guess.

betcoin.ag

917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember when Twitch banned gambling? Now they allow nudity! on: December 16, 2023, 06:54:37 PM
So they explore other routes. It wouldn't surprise me if they decided to go full onlyfans next to make their shareholders more profit.

when money is what motivates them, that could be a plan in motion. what doesn't make sense is that the casino streamers were sacked, they didn't make money from those gambling streamers?

nude art or not, i don't think it will still be a family-oriented photo. anyone looking at a picture even the nude art on deviantart.com can give you a boner. so it doesn't matter how they distinguish art and porno. twitch is not even a site for art but whatever they say.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Closing Central Bank is Non-negotiable says pro-bitcoin Argentina Pres Milei on: December 16, 2023, 06:00:28 PM
crazy Milei shutting down the only institution that holds them to be considered an independent country. but maybe this guy has been talking to Bukele as well like he could also declare BTC as legal tender in Argentina.

but most probably the central bank will be replaced with CBDC as reported they will be using USD. maybe stablecoin as well so they are getting ready to make BTC legal tender too and then go on with stablecoins. if only there were stablecoins for each country which can also be used by the rest of the world the better it would be to close central banks.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 16, 2023, 05:35:18 PM
never in history have i read the terms and conditions of a website. when facebook and google announced and emailed me they had updated their policy, i still ignored them.

let alone online casinos. but i would pay attention to it if they won't allow me to withdraw the funds i have from the casinos. we are probably on the same page reading the TOS once all crypto casinos make this kind of decision one day and we might just be posting new threads about it in bitcointalk.
920  Other / Archival / Re: New strategy for casinos! on: December 15, 2023, 08:36:17 PM

that's a good marketing strategy for the mixer.

but wouldn't the authorities target your casino instead? they will look into this cheap casino that possibly has no license and just a bunch of games either roulette and dice and then the ad spaces are all mixers banners. this would put the casino and the owner into trouble as authorities would be going after you, identifying you, and going to the company server.

here's what mixers can do. they could just buy adspace from known crypto new sites if possible. and the race  is creating blogs and youtube videos where we could be advertising mixers hardcoded into the videos.
