921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZEN is a superior version of ZCash, but only 2% of price? lot of development on: August 10, 2017, 06:39:44 PM
ZEN is just another shit coin that will not be accepted by investors. NEO is something new in China. Thats why it is raising.

This coin hasn't been pumped yet. It is not an explicit shit coin and there are multiple reasons why the price can grow up. It could easily be the next altcoin to skyrocket.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I might have missed the boat on Bitcoin, but what about Ethereum? on: August 10, 2017, 06:34:25 PM
There is no harm taking a small punt on a number of coins: Ether, Bitcoincash, Doge, Monero, Dash.

Do your research and try not to pay too much. Have a set point where you start to cash out profits. Pretty soon you'll have made yourself some more bitcoin.

I think all these coins are OK. But bitcoin cash could also be a good back if the Segwit version of the bitcoin fails.

Most holders of Bitcoin already hold equal amounts of bitcoin cash. Not all bitcoin cash has been dumped at exchanges. You have a natural hedge there - if scaling issues pull down Bitcoin, bitcoin cash will rise.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 06, 2017, 10:40:44 AM
Hi there, noob question. Can I link to the database a byteball address that I don't have access to?

I have bytes on a wallet on a PC that I don't have access to, and I know the address. But when I go talk with the chat bot on my current wallet I don't find how to link a address that is not on the currently use wallet, is it even possible?

That should be possible. The chatbot will ask you to type your byteball address.
It doesn't validate whether that byteball address is in your current wallet or not. There is no reason why it should.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [GBYTE] Byteball Speculation on: August 06, 2017, 10:36:17 AM
Yep, the game is changing, i had a lot more when i had less gb than now. A lot of people here to just dump as quick they can
I expect dumping again after distribution.

This is to be expected. A lot of people take part in airdrops just to dump the coins at the first opportunity they get.
You can't say it is a bad strategy. They do get some free bitcoins by participating.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptos to buy now ? on: August 06, 2017, 10:28:24 AM
Just visit cointelegraph and find the coins that have high market cap and good coin circulation.
Just to add it up on your portfolio, buy some waves, even it is undervalue but the community is giving their strong support to this coin and soon it will profit good.

Cointelegraph? I think you are talking about coinmarketcap.com
Plus it might not be a good idea to bet on coins that have a high market capitalization. They could be at their peaks and if they crash, you can lose your capital very quickly.
926  Economy / Speculation / Re: BCC taking the crown. on: August 06, 2017, 10:24:52 AM
Just one day more in the history of bitcoincash and we have confirmation
The crown of dumping has been awarded to BCC.

There is no hash support, there is no price support, there is no support from users, there are no users , there is no usage for it, from this you can only draw one single conclusion:
There is no need for this coin to exist in the first place.

And there will be no place for it in the future, no matter how many unicorns you want to paint on the dump walls.

Well, it is $200+ for the holders of Bitcoin. That is enough reason for it to exist.
Who can say no to free money?  Smiley
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Profit from free airdrops? on: August 05, 2017, 04:33:54 AM
Did you ever made profit with free airdrops?
For example when the coin is introduced on exchanges i guess the profit can be very good?

If you made profit then how much?
I've never profit from free airdrops because I've also never joined or participated on airdrops, maybe I'll try it out after there's a good chance for me, since participating on airdrops I think we'll get a good profit.

You are missing out on free money. There is no reason not to participate in air drops.
If you are worried about security / privacy, there are always safeguards which can be taken.
928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: August 05, 2017, 03:37:52 AM
We definitely are going to see an ATH when the day's prices are collated.
The price as per coinmarketcap is closing in on $3100!!

A lot of people have made money from the Byteball air drop. The money is good and the distribution was done in a staggered manner.
Of course, if you are not an old timer bitcoiner with many bitcoins, you can't get too many free coins.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me! My 80.65 BCC disappeared! on: August 05, 2017, 03:20:26 AM
The first 2 deposit transactions look fine, but there is no other transaction.

The problem seems to be from viaBTC's end.
931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over for now on: August 05, 2017, 03:17:09 AM
No way to make any decent gains for the forseeable future. Mkt cap is $50b that means $100b to double your money.  I see sideways bs looking for idiot buyers for awhile then a bear market before the next leg up.
The current adoption simply doesn't support a continued rise.

People thought the same way when the market capitalization was $5 Bn. Bitcoin has never ceased to surprise us.
That said, you should be happy with any gains you make and not think about doubling your money.
932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin (btc) close to $3,000 on: August 01, 2017, 01:56:16 PM
After panicked through out the night, I wake up this morning to find out that bitcoin was henging towards $3,000! I read many topics and comments from expert on cryptocurrency about August first and August first is with us.  I will stay with price action rerther than reading those panicking story online.
Bitcoin prices have never reached the price of 3000USD. This is a bit weird because we are always hindered by the 3000USD wall.
Everyone would have hoped after fork because of the possibility of rising bitcoin prices there, but the risk of falling prices is still quite large.

The period right now is a very uncertain period. If supporters of BCH dump bitcoin, there is a possibility of the price dropping. Otherwise, I think all indicators are positive.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: July 31, 2017, 01:59:31 AM
Some people just participate in the bounties and wait for few years. they don't sell their bounty rewards for low fiat reward. Ironically those people become FIAT millionaires. Cheesy
Thx for bounties! Good jewelry.

The complexity associated with holding different coins securely dissuades me from holding too many coins, even if they were received as bounties. Best to stick to a few coins and convert the remaining as soon as you receive them.
934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is there a "Bitcoin Crash" planned for Aug 1st? on: July 31, 2017, 01:56:37 AM
Um, what do you mean bitcoin crash?

some people call bitcoin cash as bitcoin crsh (because of BCC price crashing), the same way they called Bitcoin Unlimited (BU) as BUG coin. and BCC is the same BU thing with the same people, same bugs, same agenda to take over bitcoin and with the same very low support.
Haha, my friends also call BCC = BitCoin Crash because they know after distribuite Bitcoin Cash, the price of this coin will crashing very more, even maybe drop to some dollars per coin Grin.

Hmm... If everybody is so sure of BCC crashing immediately upon creation, then maybe it makes sense to take a contrarian position. Who knows, BCC could rebound to give sizeable profits.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 31, 2017, 01:48:07 AM
What's the latest price for Blackbytes?
I'm thinking that when distribution is finally complete that GBB are going to do really well and it will be worth trading some Bytes for Blackbytes.

Is there a reliable price indicator for Blackbytes? Unless an exchange lists blackbytes, it will be tough to get a holistic sense of the demand and prevalent price.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: July 29, 2017, 04:28:05 PM
Freaky to see bay back at 700. Who would seriously consider selling for that given the road map we have planned?

I don't think it is specific to bay. A lot of altcoins are down, with people preferring to hold bitcoins. It has a lot to do with the BTC-BCC fork. Once August 1 and the fork is done and dusted, people are going to drift back to the coins they like.
937  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rally is premature - 4 days left on: July 29, 2017, 04:24:06 PM
most of them buying to get free bcc. after hard fork will fall for sure. but the question is which bitcoin going to stay alive?
Kraken announced that they are supporting bcc and on the other hand there are more supporters of btc.
this will turn to gambling for sure.

Both branches will stay alive. I think BTC will remain the dominant one, given the existent support that it has.
BCC will also stay alive and if the bickering over scaling in BTC remains, BCC has a very good chance of overtaking it as well.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumping Bitcoin Cash after it hits exchanges? on: July 29, 2017, 04:17:25 PM
I am curious to know how many of you will dump BCH right away, or going to HODL.

Dumping it is speculation that the price will decline in the future. I am not sure and am not willing to take such risks.
It makes sense to wait for the dust to settle and see where the price of BCC finally gets to.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCC market value on: July 29, 2017, 04:15:59 PM
Awaiting decisions:
Poloniex
Livecoin
Yobit
C-cex

What are these exchanges waiting for? We have only a couple of days left for August 1 and it isn't rocket science to decide whether to support Bitcoin Cash or not. Especially Poloniex... with one of the largest volumes of BTC traded, it makes sense for Poloniex to announce its plans much in advance.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will all coins continue to go down until 1st August? on: July 27, 2017, 02:05:22 AM
Hello,
do you think its an good Time to buy now Altcoins?

It is risky but the rewards will be great in case the market rebounds. It totally depends on your risk appetite.
People who don't have strong hearts will convert to fiat or USDT until there is clarity.
