921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New NFT and DeFi projects on: April 25, 2021, 11:37:33 PM

I don't think the season for NTF is going to be prolonged for another year, there are just more industries to first establish with the use of blockchain than art. There are few people, the community could be big but art will just be taken for granted when there is chaos in our world today.

There was one NTF project I've heard over and over which is the OMI, not really sure how the project works but this had been shilled by influencers I have been following, I guess it could be worth it but as soon as it's price rise, it must be dumped.

Just want to correct first, NFT not NTF.   Tongue

NFT market is growing and now some artists are finding this as a very good market to showcase their skills and talents. So in my point of view, we are just starting to uncover the potential of NFT market.

And just like Paris Hilton who appreciates the rise of NFTs - https://www.coindesk.com/paris-hilton-nfts-powering-female-creators-future-of-art , I believe more celebrities and personalities will join this market as they discover the potential of NFTs to connect with their fans worldwide. Users should just be careful in finding a valuable NFT, not just a substandard project selling their own NFTs.

It is impressive that you will be catering a lot of networks here, which will be beneficial to crypto users who are looking for cheaper options. But may I ask, from your roadmap as written on your whitepaper, token sale has been done last quarter. Did it push thru? Have you collected funds already? And this quarter, will be the release of your wallet. Are you going to release the wallet in google play and app store based on this timeline?
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Afripay 🌟 Africa's First Crypto Payment Solution Using Blockchain on: April 25, 2021, 10:01:28 PM
Guys, I really don't like quallity of your website. I'm talking about design, lack of information about team etc. Sorry, but most of all I don't like pictures used by you on website. I'm graffic designer, so I see that these pictures have bee taken from photobank. You just put there your logo (by the way, you did it very unprofessional), and used these pictures without preserving proportions. You can't do this way if you are serious project.
I don't understand what they mean but they seem to run counter to their own slogan "Trusted and Transparent Currency Alternative" whereas they themselves are not transparent, showing only a little information from their team, also using anonymous picture, what a shame.
In the sale phase, they claim to have been successful in the "Private Investment Funding Round". There weren't that many funds, but they had at least $ 22,500 at the time of the sale.

Anyway, the project seems not gaining interest from the community. Their mission is great but how they work on here is somewhat shady. They are not answering anything here. No clarification about their team members or anything of that sort. I don't think this will go far. Very likely that they are just using the African community to attract potential buyers or investors. I hope people are smarter these days. Don't be attracted by seemingly noble cause because they are not.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DeFi]CBD CASH - The world's 1st unique stable coin pegs CBD using protocol on: April 25, 2021, 09:17:13 PM
We will be listed on the P2PB2B exchange on May 1st.
We have also entered into a partnership of   with  the P2PB2B exchange for  developing  the Community

https://p2pb2b.io/

Expect the reputation of CBD CASH to grow
Team CBD CASH

Do you know the reputation of p2pb2b exchange in the forum? It is not so good and I remember the time, when they wanted to hold signature campaign, it was not pushed thru because a lot contradicted its campaign. And so users are afraid to join and be red-tagged. You can check here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203715.0.

So I don't know if users here will be interested to use that exchange. Just giving you an idea that may give you bottleneck in attracting potential investors.

Tapping the gaming industry is a smart move. As this is growing in fast speed especially during these times, where a lot of people don't want to go outside, and some of them are hooked up in front of their computers and games. And deploying it under BSC network is also favorable to most users because of its cheaper fees. Have you advertised this project in the gaming community, outside this forum? I believe, it would be in your best interest to put ads in those communities to pick up this project.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Demcratic Bitcoin RTX (Right Transaction) cpu mining for win, mac, linux Beta on: April 25, 2021, 01:50:13 PM
What will be your target use case for this coin? Also, are you going to post also your block explorer. It says from your timeline that it was already available last Feb. So it means, the team or some other people are already mining it before it is posted here in the forum. The common problem with coins like this is how it will gain value in the market? Who will be interested to buy those mined coins?
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [b][ANN] ALL NEW DEX ON THE BINANCE SMART CHAIN AND ETHEREUM NETWORK[/b] on: April 25, 2021, 01:02:19 PM
You say you plan to launch a stable coin in Q4. What is that supposed to be good for? There are highly professional businesses offering stable coins all over the place. What benefit will you additional stable coin in half a year from now bring to the table and how are you going to convince someone to use your stable coin instead of Tether or Binance stable coin?

We're going to introduce a non-pegged stable coin. The problem with what's available currently like the ones you mentioned, is the fact that they're pegged to the US dollar. The major concern with this is that the Dollar is highly inflated and its value is based on the fact that Saudi Arabia still sells oil for US dollars. Iran, Venezuela and Russia have already stopped. Pegging a coin to the US Dollar is like throwing a rope when you're drowning to a sinking ship.

We'll be announcing plans for the token distribution towards the end of the year.

Will it be a seigniorage-backed stablecoin? I have seen one project here having this type of stable coin and from what it seems, they are not successful with it. But since you are having a decentralized exchange, maybe the fate will be different. It is smart move to use both platfoms - BSC and ETH. Once ETH resolves their gas efficiency problem, the traders may go back again using this network.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【ANN】 ✅ LETHEAN ✅ - Secure, Anon & Fast P2P-VPN-Network backed by the Blockchain on: April 25, 2021, 11:57:38 AM
I really can't think of a more undervalued coin than Lethean.

It's a privacy coin. It's comunity driven. It has a working product behind it (VPN).

Well, I guess I was right, it just went up 400% today...  Grin

It is a privacy coin, however, its use case is limited as it is only available in couple of exchanges. And the problem is, those exchanges are not really very popular among traders. So it is quite difficult for the crypto user/trader to utilize its feature as a privacy coin because you can't find it in major exchanges. Also, I believe, its community is not that big yet. Maybe, if the team has funds to conduct bounty campaigns, they should try it. At least, expose their coin and sell their privacy feature.
929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: April 24, 2021, 11:38:53 PM
In 2018, when bitcoin dropped from 19k, almost no one would buy it and they just let it dumped until $3k. Now, even bitcoin drop to $40k, people will keep accumulate as much as they can buy, since more and more huge institution begin to accepting bitcoin. You should use your logic on here, we are on different situation with 2018 back then
We find it more different as people are already knowledgeable and enough to conquer the doubts and replace them with positivity. And I think we are happy with these huge changes and looking forward to a short dump as possible and reject the 2018 event.

Anyway,
While observing the current momentum, we are not really at a hard drop scheme. It went slowly and slowly while some investors helping to sustain the market at high.

The market is still holding the 50k level. So for me, it is really not massive drop. But people are hard to please, now, that they experience the 60k level. They want more. I believe, it will not be the same as the adoption today is very different than in previous years. Many institutions/organizations/companies are involved in this market. And from my perspective, they are not here for quick gain. They have long-term plans in this market. Those that are including crypto in their payment system, do you think that is just for few months? I don't think so. That's a long term involvement to crypto.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now It's Time For All Weak Hands To Drop Their Bitcoins! on: April 24, 2021, 10:57:19 PM
If you've been for a long time in this BTC business you already know this BTC price drop means nothing, nada.

I've experienced dozens of such drops and haven't sold a satoshi since 2013. Don't let the whales get your valuable BTC.

In other words, HODL, because every time after the rain comes the sunshine. You will be rewarded in the end my friend. But only the strong hands will remain.
What you say is correct! When participating in the long-term and experienced electronics market, Bitcoin decline is not afraid. You need to be patient and wait for the opportunity. Don't rush to sell your Bitcoin price to others so that when Bitcoin increases they have the opportunity to become billionaires and you don't. Sorry when you let that happen. Keep a cold head and awake brain when investing in Bitcoin.

I admire the OP as he has not sold any satoshi since 2013. It means he can afford to hold long term and by now, I guess, he is enjoying the retirement from all the hullabaloo in  the corporate life or from 9-5 job. Not many crypto holders can hold that long as at some point like in 2017, I believe a lot sold their stash. But up until now, he is holding. That's epic! Most newcomers are scared right now, because btc drops. But if we compare the price in the last decade of bitcoin, we can say, we are still doing great.
931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any opinions about the recent btc price crash? on: April 24, 2021, 09:57:04 PM

They may be contributors in what is happening in the market. But we can't tell for sure if they are the major reasons in this correction. Or is it just time to have this correction as we are being spoiled of this continuous increase in the market? We know, correction is just around the corner but a lot of us hope that it will continue to increase, but guess, it is time for this drop. And people who are asking this kind of question. What are their expected answers here? A consolation that we will go up again?
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 23, 2021, 11:57:41 PM
Why worry so much? I agree with those who say that the best in this life sometimes has to wait for years. We, the participants of this forum, have some of the best days when the coins we have bought grow in value. There is a time when the market rises, there is a time when it falls - this is the main property that you need to use, and not worry about it, even if you have to wait for good growth for another 4 years.

I couldn't have said it better. You're absolutely right, the worried party (IMHO) are those who are attracted to crypto in a strictly "get rich fast" way. Never before I saw so many topics like "my plan: make $$$$$$$ from initial 20 bucks and then retire" LOL

Those who are panicking today are those that have bought bitcoin at a higher price and now, they are scared that they will lose their funds on this market. So they are giving unreasonable statements, which can give negative outlook to most newcomers. However, for those that have seen bitcoin in a roller coaster ride throughout the years, they will just ignore these negativities.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GoldPegas - Revolutionize Gaming Industry with NFTs on: April 23, 2021, 11:28:07 PM
Okay there is still a lot of missing information. So there will be 20 stages of sales with different prices, but where can I see the detailed information? about the timeframe and softcap for each station? I also can't wait to see more information about the airdrop.

First, they need to publish their own website. They still have a lot to fill-up here. The one you are asking don't have timeframes. Also, why attached the name of Gold in the name? I don't think gold has something to do with their project. Unless, just another bait from naive users.
934  Economy / Economics / Re: April 15th Price Drop, Hash Rate Drops As Blackouts Instituted In China on: April 23, 2021, 09:45:54 PM
Those saying that this is the right opportunity to accumulate bitcoins, how sure are you about that? What if it’s not going up again anytime soon and keeps dropping after you might have accumulated? No matter what it is going to be, we all still have to be very careful with the choices we are making at this point. If you feel you should buy now, still do so with a little amount since you’re not 100% sure whether the price will boom immediately they are done with investigating the accidents they are talking about.

It is really up to the crypto user if he will buy or not, or how strong his beliefs that btc has bright future. A lot will see this opportunity to buy more, whereas, others are having hard time to buy because of the risk of losing their hard-earned money. No one can precisely predict the future, so it is left on your instincts how you will act on this market. And every individual has their own decision on this matter.
935  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now officially in Bear-Market: -20% down - Dropping like a Rock on: April 23, 2021, 08:44:25 PM

You would really be expecting these kind of calls anytime we do see some price decrease where there are people who do freak out and keep saying that this is the start of the bear market
but if we do try to look at on the current condition then you can say that we are totally seeing the other way around.

-20% down isnt something that you should bother out yourself but rather see this as an opportunity for you to buy more cheaper coins. Some calls are just creating the FUD so better not to make
yourself get easily affected with these.

Dropping like a rock? If you've been here on this market for a while then these movements wouldnt really be an issue at all.

Even if we are at 51k level today, and compare it to previous years, you can say we are still in bull season. So it depends on when you are comparing it to. People already saw the 60k mark, that's why when it goes down, they feel, btc is already over.  Roll Eyes So yes, expect there will be more of this type of comment or postings, especially from beginners who bought their first bitcoin more than 55k level. They feel they already lost but this is just normal for any market. If they have weak hands, they can always sell and never go back.
936  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: April 22, 2021, 10:44:03 PM
At this current state of bitcoin it seems kind of impossible for bitcoin to deep to $20k in this bull run, it really impossible, it will be very hard seeing bitcoin at $30k in this bull run maybe after the bull season is over and the bear season takes over then no doubt it might fall to that extent. Bitcoin is still in a good state no news of ban which will trigger people dumping bitcoin, even when there is a ban bitcoin still rises because the people involve still look for some other way to buy, so you saying bitcoin will dump to $20k is really much impossible in this present state.

When bitcoin starts to go down a lil bit, some users are predicting about the fall of bitcoin. But for those who have seen the ups and downs of btc throughout the years, we can say that the level of btc right now is much different than in the previous years. The institutions as well as big companies that are into bitcoin today have better understanding on the capability of btc in the market.

Sorry OP your post invites FUD. No blog specialized in cryptocurrencies has created an analysis that indicates that the price of bitcoin could fall to 20K. Bitcoin is not a bubble. What will happen now? The institutions will be buying the bitcoin that you are leaving.

Although in the current situation the market is suitable for any investor. Let's not forget that while bitcoin continues its bull run, altcoins are also showing their best moment.

And if he decided to get out of crypto, no one is stopping him from doing so. Just don't regret few years from now, when bitcoin has value that very few can afford to buy. Everything is possible to happen but going down to 20k level, is I believe far from happening.
937  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Is Crypto Black Day? on: April 21, 2021, 11:55:52 PM
Hi

As you you, no market can be bullish or bearish permanent. so when is the Crypto black day? Plz explain with reasons.

No one has the crystal ball here to really see what the future brings so no one can answer you. And besides, everything here is based on wild and educated guess although it is based on technical analysis, but still it is not an accurate science.

But if you are going to look at the market movement and sentiments, I would say that we are still in the bullish cycle. We just encounter some glitch along the way. Remember that this April alone we have reach a milestone already (new ath).

OP wants someone to tell him about the future of crypto and no one has the crystal ball to tell him that. This question is really very subjective and it depends on the market sentiments. As there are so many contributors that are affecting the crypto market, what he can do is keep him updated of the market movement. No one can give him what will happen next day or next month.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New DEX - SOKUSWAP - TOKEN SALE APRIL 4th on: April 21, 2021, 10:55:34 PM
When will Soku Token Sales begins, I read it you give 1 week time in the token sale, are you really very sure of the short time that the Soku toku will be sold out?

We just need to hit our soft cap. Our software is 98% done. The token sale is more marketing and adoption, versus fundraising.
I like people who are so sure what will be the result, like everything will go well. Then how much the softcap if in BNB? Since you say like that, it felt like it wasn't a target with a large number. Well I see your marketing campaign has launching few days ago, hopefully it give you a big support to achieve your softcap. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5331559.0

Based on the OP, the token sale ended Apr 11. So is there an extension or that was the pre-sale? How much was raised during that period? Does it mean that you haven't reached your soft cap yet?

And what will be the major feature of this defi exchange over the other popular ones?
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money from Bitcoin in 2021 on: April 21, 2021, 09:47:56 PM
I guess the best way is trading or mining. But for those two you need skill and equipment though, so it might not be easy for some people or for the beginners. Another easy way is by buying bitcoin and holding it for a long term, but of course you can't expect an immediate profit from it.
I never tried surveys before, dunno how it works? like will it really work? But i guess never hurt to try that, you won't loss anything too, right?
Before, joining bounty is the best way to earn bitcoin i might say, but after 2017, i don't know if it's worth it anymore or not. Hard to find a good one that really pays and not a scam though. Too bad, bounty is my most favourite thing.

With regards to surveys, there are sites that are paying crypto if you answer survey questions. Though I haven't done this because for me right now, it is a waste of time. But for those who have a lot of extra time and want to earn crypto without buying it - you can check this article - https://thinkmaverick.com/bitcoin-survey-sites/. Actually, there's a lot more. But it is for you to gauge if the site is legit or not. In terms of joining bounty programs in the forum, it is really hard to find a worthwhile project and that entails also your research towards the project.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 20, 2021, 11:24:06 PM
Hello everybody. I believe it is a misconception that Bitcoin will not last long. The government's bans on cryptocurrencies do not indicate the criminal origin of cryptocurrencies, but that the government cannot subjugate this area of activity and cannot come up with a real mechanism for regulating cryptocurrencies. Personally, my opinion is that until they come up with a more advanced financial structure than cryptocurrency, Bitcoin will always be in demand. At least we have enough for our lives.

That is the reason why some governments don't like bitcoin or crypto because they don't have the grasp to regulate it. Though it is hard to say that bitcoin will last forever, as we need to factor out in the future if there will be new technology that will arise. But the presence of bitcoin will last for long time, maybe even our lifetime. The existence of crypto is still young as compared to fiat existence, which has been used for centuries. So bitcoin has a long journey to tackle with...
