Lazy cat dozes on branch while looking for lunch.

Support levels remain strong as bitcoin trades in a narrow channel looking for a path towards a breakout. New resistance levels at $3.4k are likely to be tested as we head towards the weekend.

The board is coming into sharper focus as the final pieces of the bottom and the end of the bear market click into place.

How can we be sure that it is you who has now the account and not the hacker anymore? Good thing that it gets back to you for a very long time.

it's him, based on the proof of ownership he posted and the recovery history from seclog.
Code:
January 31, 2019, 12:44:59 PM - fubly - manual recovery, ownership change queued (completed)
February 07, 2019, 01:25:01 PM - fubly - manual recovery, previously-queued ownership change completed
February 07, 2019, 04:22:39 PM - fubly - password reset via email
February 07, 2019, 04:23:04 PM - fubly - woke up

Anyone else notice Toxic2040's charts are employing so much bogus witchcraft the screen isn't readable at all?  Then after going through all this effort, he doesn't even attempt to make an inference as to what the market is doing? It's like his only goal is to create the world's most ugly chart for no reason.

supposed to be a rorschach test, I believe.

It's about being right or wrong...  Don't be a pussy your trust is outstanding. Stand up for whats right. would you trust Ognasty with a $ knowing he has a great full history of trades or would you trust Lauda with your $ knowing she has never made a trade deal in her entire history with BCT?   Lauda has a higher Rating than Ognasty LOL

Lauda has never done a deal via Bitcointalk?  Cheesy Lauda offers escrow services among other things.  Roll Eyes Perhaps you should do a bit more research before typing nonsense. You do realize that P2P trades aren't the only economic activity going on within this forum. Correct?
I wouldn't trust Lauda with a single $ of my money. but yet she is stiill on my trusted list why?

There is a remedy for that. Go into your trust settings and type the following;
Code:
~Lauda
You can distrust anyone else you think doesn't have valuable input either. Also, you can add whoever you like by just typing in their username. Very simple. If you are confident enough in your list and feel it will keep you safe, then remove DefaultTrust from your list.

Yes, in fact you won five time in a row. Make sure to tell the onlooker your "secret."  Wink

Backing up the red tag. Nice try OP. Perhaps you and your friend should try running one of these, next time:

950  Economy / Reputation / Re: @suchmoon could you provide info on this on: February 06, 2019, 08:26:18 PM
the D9 was released late April 2018, first shipment from inno was on 27th April. first message is on 4th May, very low chances he got it by 4th may, but i'l let it pass.

BTC price on that date = 9700$

The D9 was selling for less than 7000$.

why would anybody pay 2700$ extra for this shit? why would the seller offer it at such price anyway?

also why did he not start a scam accusation then or now for that matter?

You would be amazed at what markup people are willing to pay for a new miner. Especially if they don't want to wait for the next batch to ship. A ~40% markup is actually pretty low.
Personally, I don't give this allegation much credence, since the source is Thule. I believe Vod is still waiting for his summons. However, if Thule can get his source to get a moderator involved and show this is true, I'll eat my hat avatar.   Roll Eyes

Its an alt of suchmoon now.

Do you have any evidence that would back up this claim? That seems like a pretty big statement to just throw out there as if it is common knowledge, but maybe I am out of the loop on this one. I remember (slightly) there being some question of ownership over the account, but never remembered anything concrete and especially nothing linking specifically suchmoon. Care to explain to an uninformed party?

If you don't have the intent to pass off someone else's work as your own in order to pad your post count/size, then you don't deserve a ban, at least.

By university standards, well-known quotes should be in quotation marks, but need not be cited. Sayings don't need quotation marks.

So in other words, saying like "Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy night." should have quotes but sayings like a stitch in time saves nine doesn't need to be quoted. Correct?

I think the overall takeaway he is trying to express is if you aren't plagiarizing in order to farm your account stats you shouldn't worry too much about it. But also yes.

Well, at the moment I don't have anything to worry about since I already enjoy the highest rank that I could possibly aspire to and I am not involved in a signature campaign. However, it would be nice to know the fine points in case I ever do decide to join a signature campaign. There is a large team of people who spend a good deal of time finding and reporting copy pasta.

I hope nobody minds if I don't participate in the red trust dog pile. I think there is sufficient redundancy now to ensure people get the memo that the account has more probability of being compromised, than not.

I'd love to give a few of you merits for your comedy posts, but again I'm not on the merit-go-round...

956  Other / Meta / Re: (!)My account restored after 18 months of being hacked(!) on: February 04, 2019, 06:08:31 PM

AFAIK, there is no way to delete old messages that have been posted by my account, during the stolen period.

You should be able to manually go into each post and delete the post. This may take a while since you cannot do it in bulk. Also, if the person started the thread, all you can do is edit the post to be like a period, lock the thread and move it to archive board. It may be worth your while to clean house when you can find time. I would hate for your account to get accidentally banned for plagiarism or something.

I'm not sure if this was a "legit" sale back in December 2017, but someone offered 2 VIP accounts with original e-mail. 1 was "sold", but the link to the transaction is expired. So I can see the concern with the JFY account. Personally, I'm undecided in this case. However, INTP personality types are usually undecided.  Roll Eyes

If that thread was real, someone paid $1,000 for a VIP based on the $20k price at the time. I can’t imagine earning that much with an account, even over a year.

Edit: That thread was created Dec 11 2017, and last edited a week later saying one was sold. However the account “woke up” in August, 6 months earlier. Unless the password was reset within a week of Dec 11, 2017 this thread was not selling btc_bear.

Yes, I just looked through some achived seclogs. No PW reset for Bad_bear around the time after "purchase." I can't imagine someone purchasing an account for $1000, and not resetting the PW right away. Account sellers can't be trusted, after all. So, this isn't any smoking gun. However, it is an example that it is theoretically possible to have a VIP account to be transferred with e-mail. I've even seen offers to sell accounts with the private key for a staked address. Wish this practice of buying and selling accounts could be stopped. But with the internet, no way to stop it.

Forker!

We used to lapidate people to death for much less heresy than that!

I wouldn't worry about this fork. This fork only has one wearer while xhomerx original fork has many more wearers. My fork will be easily 51% attacked. Also, xHomerx original fork now has cool 3d features as well as transparent mode. Also, I don't think the main developer of the fork that I am on is interested in continuing the project.

Looks like the usual exit scam to me.

Yes, it appears that I will be left holding the bag wearing the hat with this one.
