961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: December 13, 2020, 10:43:55 PM
I believe that none of them are or can be any good to the community because with the level of sellers each coin is having in it nowadays, the coin can be destroyed in moments and I'd never like that to happen because even a small crash nowadays can make bigger differences. You can still say IEO is somewhat good because people stake/invest their money on the project because of exchange's credibility too.
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 13, 2020, 10:27:58 PM
Odds can give a reliable idea, not the winner itself. I've seen some game-changing matches where, without lost any moment, when the opposite team gets a chance to become the stuck bone in winning team's neck, they never leave it at any cost. Let's say for example, cricket. A match can change towards any side and it all depends on various factors like wickets remaining, runs remaining, balls remaining, form of players, their behavior towards trying to win the match, etc. So I couldn't rely on odds possibly on this game and this also happens in other games too, so it's not worth it to rely alone on the odds.
963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 13, 2020, 07:28:54 PM
I only leverage trade BTC/USDT, XRP/USDT and BZRX/USDT as these 3 pairs are my personal favorites. I do it whenever I get any signal from a channel which has exceptional purchasing power collectively and can move the markets to a certain level. I also trade many other pairs but never trade them on leverage.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the longest you have waited for one confirmation?? on: December 13, 2020, 12:30:45 PM
IIRC I sent a transaction with 0 fee when such were getting confirmed.

What happened exactly?
Till I sent it, everything was working fine. Suddenly, mempool started to clog and there came an extreme tsunami of transactions which blocked the network till 10 sats/byte area. Then it took itself above to over 50 sats/ byte area and then kept sitting there for a 3 days. I just waited for it to confirm and it confirmed in 5-6 days to be exact. It didn't even get rejected or reversed as the value was so less so it didn't bother much to me. But you should have RBF enabled in your transaction as well as have some change available if your fee level gets under the normal level for getting faster confirmations.
965  Economy / Services / Re: Need Google Ads Runner on: December 13, 2020, 10:21:57 AM
The ideal person for the job does not care about their google ads account. The average person will never use google ads and does not care if their account is banned from the service. Those people would be happy to trade their account for $100 a day for an extended period of time.

Makes sense?

You've clearly said that the person risking their AdWords account will most probably have their account suspended because "your website is not in line with Google's terms of use", so what's the point of arguing and trying to bring in some ^sense^ here? If the website does not fit in Google's policy, it means there must be some issue with it and if there's some malware in it, who'll be responsible to advertise it if they even get lucky at using their account and have your site's advertisement eligible and approved? The same person who advertised, right? Because in the end, the payment details will still remain there and they'll keep track of the address of that person.
966  Economy / Services / Re: Need Google Ads Runner on: December 12, 2020, 09:58:50 PM
Yes it is not in line with google's terms of use and worst case scenario you will be suspended from google ads. This will have no other repercussions. The pay is good enough that I think it's worth it, and many other runners that I've worked with agree.

Why would someone risk their account for you? That's what I'm willing to know here. Why would anyone run your ads when the least possibility (but still a possibility) is of getting their account suspended? What if they are using their account for their own personal use? This will also end their journey in AdWords for their own ads as well.
967  Economy / Services / Re: Need Google Ads Runner on: December 12, 2020, 08:46:14 PM
Why do you need someone else's account to advertise your website when Google doesn't restrict you from putting in any amount of money there? Does your website have any issues like it's getting rejected from Google to be advertised there? I've seen many users putting this kind of advertisement here trying to lure others to advertise their business and giving too-good-to-be-true an amount to those users.
968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tip. on: December 12, 2020, 07:51:30 PM
That shows clearly you do know enough about slippage. There is minimum chances of slippage at this level with that much volume. My stop loss is pretty accurate as per 10, 25 and 40 days moving averages. If btc drops to  18300 again that shows that there is no momentum left in the market (which I highly doubt). Big buck are into bitcoins as there is not much going on elsewhere.
I am pretty sure that this momentum will make ATH.

Tbh, I'd like to know your leverage size you're trading this with. If it's not a leveraged one, then I guess your spot purchase is already in good profit even at 1:1 and without any risk except in leverage where chances of liquidation don't even let us sleep the whole night or at least till we close the trade. Yeah sure there seems to be too much momentum in BTC and weakening of dollar is another reason for it to shine, but I still believe that it'll not see an ATH soon enough. Wink
And hey wait, is it the MicroStrategy news that they'll be adding $600mn worth of BTC to their portfolio that moved the markets up?
969  Economy / Economics / Re: Cause of Covid Vaccine and it's Value on: December 12, 2020, 07:29:22 PM
I've recently heard about some ill effects of the vaccine like developing facial paralysis - https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/news/fda-reports-facial-paralysis-in-4-volunteers-for-pfizers-covid-19-vaccine/article33306576.ece

If things are going to make it more riskier for the patients ahead, I believe that the natural therapy that's already being given to them like early morning hot water given to them to drink, take them to the hospital's terrace from 8 am - 10 am for them to get sunlight, boiled food, boiled water, social distancing from each other, constant sanitation are much better than these vaccines which put our future on stake much more than what we are supposed to get.
970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tip. on: December 12, 2020, 06:56:55 PM
Well, I can see there's a strong resistance at 18800 and I believe BTC won't see an ATH (above the one it recently made) this year but the next year as traders are keeping it in this zone for longer as well as ranging it. I don't know whether you've got some specific news to say that or just speculation, and it is 100% possible that BTC will go over 22k but after this year. It has found support near 18k so you can go for that area as stop loss rather than keeping your SL so tight as your stop may get hit due to slippage and wicks.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we all not have our own bitcoin? on: December 12, 2020, 06:38:00 PM
@OP, I just can't stop laughing.  Cheesy
You mean each and every person should come up with their own so-called currency just because it hurts their ego (and their butt as well) to follow a person's vision who actually showed us the path and asked us to walk on it? Maybe you should try and come up with some DeFi token, you might see it skyrocket to some unbelievable levels and then put down into the garbage but BTC has become history because Satoshi worked behind the scenes (and I believe s/he still works for it and is happy around any corner of this world s/he lives in), unlike others who are just trying to get fame for their work.
972  Economy / Speculation / Re: So contrary to the Cult of Hodl, apparently at highs, people don't hold? on: December 12, 2020, 04:46:04 PM
I believe that those who sell BTC during ATH are the ones who book profits because they've bought BTC for the sole purpose of making profits through it, not to forget those who buy their coins during ATH. Now tell me, how can it be bad when there are not just sellers alone who sell BTC at its high but believers and long term hodlers who see so much potential in BTC that they even enter the markets when it is at its peak. Corrections are a part of this cycle due to which those sells do happen, so it can't be called bad unless there's a straight down crash of more than 50-60% like we see in some shitcoins (BTC even survived that TBH).
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xrp - Spark snapshot on: December 11, 2020, 08:31:28 PM
Grin Grin Grin im allmost 24/7 monitoring my portfolio's, got my notifications. I made a great profit in the bullrun from 2017 when I bought xrp at 0,07 toward $3+. Not afraid to lose some for this airdrop. I'm going easy on binance btw. Just sitting back cyberpunking and waiting for the Snapshot Tongue, cheers

I don't think that you'll lose anything even during this time when almost all alts are showing a great run towards making their new ATHs. XRP looks like being on a spree towards getting a hold above $1 if BTC stabilizes at some level. And I truly don't believe that Spark will be left anywhere behind, so a win-win. Just hodl after the snapshot because there's a possibility people will dump down XRP just to re-enter it a bit lower.
974  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Beware] Fake Blockchain wallet on Google Play stealing people's money. on: December 11, 2020, 08:11:30 PM
Nice catch OP. I'm quite surprised how many fake wallet apps have been chaired by Google in its Play store. We have also seen a drastic increase in the number of lending apps which use BTC in their logos and then ask you for money inside showing you "too good to be true" kind of amounts after fetching all your data. Then, they simply use your contact list to contact them and make them force you to pay these apps even if you haven't taken anything from them.
975  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 11, 2020, 07:56:11 PM
The history says BTC might reach a new ATH in January, 2021 so expecting it to show some strong moves during December is like daydreaming atm because it's looking to be getting and probably standing near $16250 before the next leg upside. Supports are being broken down and it looks like there's not been enough accumulation done as of yet.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin FAILED? on: December 11, 2020, 07:32:50 PM
There can be nothing like a second Bitcoin. I hope you're getting my point there.

Next, I believe Bitcoin has truly and effectively served its purpose of getting accepted at many major firms and yeah, even if it's stopped to get accepted there, P2P is not going anywhere and you can still purchase even Rs.100 (worth ~$1.4) when buying through P2P. Even if your sole purpose is for investment, I believe there's nothing that could beat this asset. Transformation from just a mode of payment to becoming an asset class of its own is the real definition of Bitcoin's success IMHO.
977  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does ChipMixer make money? on: December 07, 2020, 09:18:09 PM
I believe everyone talked about Chipmixer alone, but nobody talked about the closure of many such mixing services which actually proved to be in favor of Chipmixer because none others could give the standard of service Chipmixer offers, which is why many of those got cracked down and Chipmixer is still in the game. Donations are a second thing, but when you have a shop in a city and that you know that it's only your shop where the basic necessities of an average Joe can be met, just think how much Chipmixer will be making already. Wink

Many new services have entered this mixing industry but Chipmixer is still on top of them and nobody can deny that fact. It's not about the money they spend, but the money they make through their business.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VETUSDT broke out! on: December 07, 2020, 08:20:38 PM
Yes, I just want us to preserve capital as best we can and avoid trading margin with high risk situations like this ^^

Will VET have big news in the future? Do you have any hidden information or is it just the result of your long-term analysis? I'm excited to hear your rationale as I enjoy holding potential altcoins over the long term at the moment.

VET is a good alt tbh, I don't have any hidden info nor do I have any big news about VET for the future (and I don't even trade any news because good news always give bad outcomes and I've witnessed it many times). In your first comment, I forgot to correct you that you said VETUSDT has yet to break $0.182, but VETUSDT is currently $0.0183 (you took the price 10x already  Grin)

I watch price action and trade on the basis of that only, I don't trust any indicators as well as any news or rumors. Naked charts are enough for me to spot the trades.
979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I post about my new trading calculator website? on: December 07, 2020, 07:56:53 PM
Thanks for the advice! The tool does not contain prices of any coin, but it's a calculator where the users can estimate how much they can make from daytrading crypto, no matter which coin they will trade. Do you still think it's suitable in the Service Announcements (Altcoins) thread?

Thanks,
Joel

You should still go for Project Development section tbh, and I believe that the mods will simply move it to the correct section that seems fit to them for your thread. Your project seems a bit confusing to me (in terms of where to move it towards), but as it's a project only, the Project Development seems to me to be the right place as of now.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VETUSDT broke out! on: December 07, 2020, 07:37:15 PM
As of the current chart, VETUSDT has yet to break $ 0.182 and the buying is weakening based on the current Doji H4 candle. Along with that, Bitcoin is showing signs of correcting again, so executing a Long order is also very risky at this time. I think its price will soon fall back to the MA25, then we should place a Long order, the risk is quite low when the H4 chart is showing bull trend.
--snip img--

You were right, the trade got stopped out due to BTC correcting under $19k again making a double bottom at around 18900. I still believe this VETUSDT is a good trade to enter even at the current price because BTC is not going to show a rebound again towards downside, so holding on to enter isn't worth it. Else, you can set up your own targets for this trade but this token is looking highly promising to me.
