How do you explain the 5-hour lines to get Russian citizenship in the "occupied territories"?

Knowing the cynicism of Russian "authorities", they probably tied the citizenship to something essential, like getting pension payments or humanitarian assistance.

without having to play week 17

There are 18 weeks in the NFL season (17 games + bye). So if we just want to avoid the last week, we can still make the season 17 weeks long. But 16 is fine with me too.
963  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777, Bitlucy and long story in brief on: June 23, 2022, 10:25:32 PM
What are the options for Royse777 now? He has a business in this forum. Looks like he won't get any more business now.

If I needed a campaign manager I think I would still consider Royse777. Nothing in this debacle indicates that he wouldn't be capable of doing this kind of job.

If I wanted to join a campaign managed by Royse777 I'd probably want to make sure that the funds are in escrow.
964  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about patriotism in Russia - Ukraine war? on: June 23, 2022, 08:23:05 PM
My point is that you should only fight and protect your family members and close friends, not others. It's really pitiful when I see some part of Ukrainians are fighting for these wealthy morons who got shelter here and in some other countries and go to the beach, don't miss a parties while their brothers are fighting.

Ukrainians are fighting for their country, which happens to have all sorts of people, welcome to the real world.
965  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777, Bitlucy and long story in brief on: June 23, 2022, 04:24:58 PM
actually know the owner of BitLucy and that you're good friends

Knowing someone and being (or thinking that you are) good friends after some chats online is a thing these days. Feels weird to me too, but that's the world we live in. I don't think there is a contradiction in these claims, particularly considering that the "CEO" is likely a charismatic con artist, as good con artists tend to be.

I have never seen an American president this bad in my life.

You were born last year?

Can I get a $70000 loan to buy a used Lambo? Need to impress my neighbors who are laughing at me and calling me poor now that Bitcoin is dead.
968  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777, Bitlucy and long story in brief on: June 23, 2022, 01:09:27 PM
Royse777, I know you're a good person but damn... you gotta do the right thing before red tags start piling on. Keep in mind that most people are very reluctant to neg-trust someone of your reputation, so if you start getting those tags you messed up hugely.

I have past clients already and I can send you some of my past works before you can start to hire me.

All right, show us some of your past "works".

Dron kamikaze from Aliexpress wiped out russian oil refinery.

Epic video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFdHIjSFS0s

Maybe you can't understand words (most of them is phrases like "GODDAMMIT motherfucka, epic shit" ) but you can feel emotions of russians from video  Grin

10 seconds before that: "Ukrainian? Of course not."

BTW this buzzing contraption made it 100+ km into Russian-controlled territory. Some general is gonna lose his job when (if?) Putin finds out.
971  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake accusations/feedback by yahoo62278 on: June 22, 2022, 02:57:32 AM
Well like I said it is not my priority or my duty to prove anything to you based on unsubstantiated claims. It is the people that have weighted feedback and identify scammers on this website to accurately and appropriately do that or else you should not be labeling and calling people out for fraudulent activity.

It's not about proving something, it's about your reputation or rather lack of it. And so far you're the one making unsubstantiated claims (thousands of dollars of business), whereas yahoo's feedback is fully substantiated with facts even if you disagree with his conclusion.

I also did not feel comfortable with revealing the details to the user “yahoo62278” about what my trade and task entailed. However I would have no problem and still have no problem of showing a moderator of the site the task I had planned and they could see that it was fully legit and in fact, there was absolutely zero fraudulent activity or scamming going on or even a question until people started bringing it up on my thread.

Scams or accusations are not moderated and moderators will not get involved in your scheme.
972  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake accusations/feedback by yahoo62278 on: June 22, 2022, 02:29:28 AM
The warning isn’t valid and if you were in a courtroom you could be sued for making unsubstantiated and slanderous claims regarding someone’s business matters.

This is not a courtroom. And the trust rating is not slander (defamation), which would require the author to be deliberately lying with an intent to harm. That's not what happened here. The feedback is based on publicly available facts.

On the other hand, you keep insisting that you've "done thousands of dollars of business on this site" but you have nothing to show for it. What you have in your post history contradicts that - loan request, fiverr "business", some failed auction, "services" no one seemed to be interested in, $25 gift card, etc - nothing to indicate trustworthiness. And the "service" you got red trust for fits that pattern, not a pattern of "thousands of dollars of business".

How to make an instant Nully post in 3 easy steps…

1. Type “blah” in Notepad.(no quotes)
2. Copy to clipboard.
3. Hold down the “control” and “v” keys for like 5 minutes.
Voila….

Sounds like too much work to mimic someone who only ever writes "This user is currently ignored".
974  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 21, 2022, 11:20:04 PM
Unstoppable? More like a Ponzi scheme at interest rates between 11 and 20 lately. You see, once again you are looking only at the information that somehow proves you point. You can support the Rouble by raising the interest rates, but you will have to print a plenty to pay for that. But hey, by all means, sell whatever you have and buy Roubles. Are you doing it now? Ah... it feels different when is your money and not just a post uh?

Strong ruble is bad for export, which is all that Russia really has (oil/gas). It would be good for import but most imports are under sanctions.

This is part of the reason why ruble is rising - very few businesses in Russia need foreign currency anymore. And there are restrictions on moving it.

In Soviet Union the ruble was "equal" to about 1.5 USD. We (well, except Branko and be.open and a few other purveyors of Kremlinism) know how that ended.

09. Structure of the playoffs.
I have no opinion on this, what are the options?

For example 4 teams, 6 teams (with wildcard round), or 8 teams in the playoffs. Is playoff round one game or two games (like we had last year).

It also depends on whether we have 10 teams or 12. With 12 teams I think I would prefer to have just one regular season game with each other (that's 11 weeks) and expanded playoffs (8 teams and/or 2 games per round) to fill it up to 16 or 17 weeks, instead of having some random games added to the regular season.

Edit: of course there is also an option to have no playoffs at all.

However, eating "crunchy critters" is a step too far for me.

It would take some getting used to but considering where most of our food (particularly animal-based) originates, this seems quite benign. You're getting pretty much what the package says, not a mix of giblets and dead rats masquerading as "meat product".

Lithuania has created a casus belli by restricting the transit of cargo to the Kaliningrad region. Russia will have to give an adequate response to this demarche.

I agree, they should give Königsberg back to Germany. This would solve the transit problem.
978  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Juneteenth....WHY? on: June 20, 2022, 11:18:05 AM
No other minorites in the U.S. Get a whole MONTH and then 2 other holidays. Where is Italian,Asian,Spanish,Irish,Polish etc etc Holidays.   GET BENT

Every Friday is an Irish holiday.

What does it matter to you if someone has a holiday? If you don't care and don't celebrate it, just carry on as usual and ignore it.
979  Economy / Reputation / Re: [great drama] Timelord2067's "homophobic" Trust abuse on hilariousandco/etc on: June 19, 2022, 05:38:10 PM
Well, to each his own, but personally I don't care what beliefs a trade counterparty holds as long as they don't lead me to think that the person can't be trusted.  Being homophobic/racist/sexist shouldn't be a problem on a forum like this, since people generally don't know enough about each other to be prejudiced.  And someone can be prejudiced against a group of people and still carry out an honest deal with someone in that group, too.  It happens all the time in the real world.

I wouldn't neg someone for it, but someone holding absurdly irrational beliefs (like one race being inferior to another) for me would seem less trustworthy to do business with. It doesn't matter if they know someone's race/ethnicity/gender etc, their absurd beliefs are not based on facts or knowledge anyway.

Too often we see ethnic/racist/sexist/etc slurs used as "arguments" in disputes (for example see the recent drama with Koil) to think that prejudice here doesn't affect business.
