Checking the comparison table on your site, you can see your advantages over bitcoin and other alts. But why is this coin not so popular? I believe, even in this forum, not many users are aware of this project. And looking at the price level in crex, it is not very encouraging in my opinion. It is like the coin is almost dying in the trading section, considering that you are only listed in this exchange. Are there plans to change this scenario?
962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience with Trading Bots on: April 14, 2021, 11:18:31 PM
I have dealt with several trading bots in my life. In particular, I would like to note that none of these bots brought me any profit. I dealt directly with automated trading bots that traded on the bitcoin market according to a certain algorithm. All these bots brought money only at the beginning, and only at a time when the market was calm. I want to note that this experience happened to me during the bear market, perhaps now such bots are more accurate and profitable, but then this did not happen. So these bots brought profit for several months and then something called "unforeseen circumstances" happened, they just took and lost most of the money.

This is one good example about real experience in trading bots. And unfortunately, you had a bad one. Never used a trading bot ever since I am into crypto. But maybe, I have time to do on my own. I think it is better for the OP to learn on his own, even allot a little time each day and learn the ropes of crypto trading. In time, he will learn the tricks on this trade and he can use it throughout his trading career in crypto. He can't learn those tricks overnight but patience is the key.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎲Dice.one | The First Decentralized Social Gaming Platform🎲 on: April 14, 2021, 09:51:20 PM
DICE is proud to announce that Bitcoin has now officially been added to the platform.

Users are able to deposit BTC, Play on site, Buy and Sell BTC and or become a Liquidity Provider to earn interest.

Please enjoy this latest update.  For more details and instructions, please check out the link below.

https://dice1.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500002493421

Maybe it is high time for dice.one project to be seen under the major gambling board of this forum as they already have bitcoin -

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

If someone from the team can also create a thread in that gambling board, that would be nice as it will increase the exposure of dice.one.
And also, they really did some improvements on their site. The number of dice stakers also increased from the time I staked my dice.

964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheap coins flying to my attention! on: April 13, 2021, 11:44:16 PM
The amount of cheap coins currently in the coinmarketcap website now is really calling for attention, coins in their billions, trillions and quadrillions and it is looking as though they are almost worthles and then you find out that are flipping 1000X is the shortest of time frames expected. Only commit funds you can afford to loose. its what i always tell folks.

I just got all the cheapest coins on CMC and it’ll either be really good percentage gains or really bad haha

But this is all with “extra” money I wouldn’t be devastated with losing.

XAP, YLD, XBC, and Blocknet (BLOCK).

I am only familiar with BLOCK project but I don't consider it as cheap coin as it has value of $4 right now. And if you ever venture into these not-so-familiar alts, make sure that you know that risks you are getting into. Most alts have very poor market performance after few months or so. And as you said, the money that will be used should be your money that you can very well afford.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] 🥺👉👈 Crypto Waifu NFTs ✌🥵✌ on: April 13, 2021, 09:55:06 PM
NFT-related projects are growing. Also, please fix the link attached to your ANN. It is not working but got your site - https://waifu.technology/
Do you think you can attract users that will buy this type of NFT item? $40 listing fee is not expensive as considering the total supply of your token. However, do you think people will buy UWU for such price?
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DISCIPLINA - the first blockchain to create verified personal profiles. on: April 12, 2021, 11:15:01 PM
I really hate it when the 2017 project opens a new theme, registers a new account and fits a bunch of bots into the theme. Why not keep chatting on your old thread?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2325715.0

Thanks for the link. Now, I know this is an old project. Maybe the team can explain why they created this new thread for the sake of clarification? Their old one has a very long discussion already with the last post couple of years ago. So why abandon the old thread? There might be significant discussion in that old one.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT on: April 12, 2021, 10:06:16 PM
I picked Moderate view - NFT will continue to exist.
I believe NFT's will be in our daily life but won't be a big part of it. There are a lot of real world use cases for NFT's, I'm not talking about some dumb tweet NFT's or cyberpunks etc. They are all part of advertisement, they don't show NFT's real potential and use case. I think some games, especially trading card games, fantasy sports leagues etc. have very big part of real NFT usage in the future. That way we can talk about collection that have value, not some pixel art where you can generate infinite copies. It can be used as proof of ownership in various things as well.

I have the same view here as well. Aside from the gaming industry, I believe, this will be a hit soon to known personalities, celebrities and athletes. Remember, a lot of them have large following and those fans are already collecting their memorabilia even before. Now, as these celebrities are finding about NFTs, like for example Paris Hilton - https://parishilton.com/why-im-excited-about-nfts/, a lot of them will follow. Now, these die-hard fans can now collect their memorabilias digitally. So I believe, it will be a hit in the future.
968  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Market is Thinking About Bitcoin Differently on: April 12, 2021, 08:56:07 PM
Yes, and let us hope that more and more investors will keep holding it so that the base for bitcoin becomes so strong that one day it would cost huge pile of money to buy single bitcoin. I am saying this because our assets will be valued more even if you hold few bits in the future. I am not sure if bitcoin will get status of currency but as an asset it is going to be premium investment in the upcoming future. People will literally fight to make one whole bitcoin into their wallet since it would be millions of dollars to make one. So if they are holding the supply then I’m with them to support.

Interesting what its impact will be in commercial market? Will people use their satoshis to buy or just keep it and save as much as they can? Because if most of us aim to hold our satoshis, then, adoption in the payment sector will not grow in the manner that we want it. But that's fine, as long as there are many believers in this market then, bitcoin has real future, if not in the payment area but more on the investments side.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mayor of miami sells his city as the world's crypto capital on: April 11, 2021, 11:55:52 PM
Firstly I want to know does he have the audacity to do such with the knowledge or permission of the Federal government, I don't know how this is done in the US but where am from, we really have a mayor, but in places where we do, his power are limited when it comes to making decisions as this, but on the other hand it's a victory for crypto-currency adoption.

He has access with lawyers, so more than likely, he already knows what he is doing. If he can realize his vision to his City, why not? This will be a good example on how crypto-based community will work. We are already in the digital age so what he is doing is just fast tracking its implementation. Sooner or later, a lot of advanced cities or countries will follow thru. But they will be the first one, to see the benefits of being a crypto-based community. If they are not successful, they can always go back to where they are previously from. But high chance that they will favor the comfort and convenience when they deal with crypto.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LUX] Luxcore — New RX2 Algorithm — Empowering People! on: April 11, 2021, 11:43:01 PM
Luxcore is excited to announce a new way to trade LUX! We are building a LUX ERC-20 Token Bridge to allow users to trade LUX on decentralized ERC-20 exchanges like uniswap, matcha, and others.

This new token will bring accessibility and liquidity while we work to develop our core products and get more attention for this project. Obviously we are all anxious for Luxgate and we are hoping to get a public beta release at some point in the near future! But we also know many in our community and potential investors have wished LUX was listed on exchanges like uniswap. We hope this token will be a benefit to existing LUX investors and open the coin up to a much wider pool of potential investors who may not have utilized existing exchanges where LUX is listed.

To read more about WLUX (the coming LUX token) check out our latest update https://medium.com/luxcore/announcing-lux-to-ethereum-erc-20-token-bridge-8bb941f4204c

Just found this project and it seems worth watching. The trading volume in coinbene is not bad. Will check if this is worth mining.

But has anyone already showed interest from the developers' side to utilize your LuxEdge product? Can you give some example of projects that are now using the LuxEdge?
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 11, 2021, 11:14:27 PM
One of the reasons why binance smart chain becomes this big right now is because ethereum gas fee is very high and this force some projects to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas fee goes lower in near few months? Will BSC faced same fate as binance DEX? Or BSC will remain the better option over ethereum?

I remembered when I made a transaction this a couple of days past on ETH the fee was absolute expensive it was around 24$  if I am not mistaken. While Bsc is too cheap in terms of it transaction fee and very fast well, no wonder why most of the new project choose to use Bsc playform rather than ETH or Erc20.

Tried also withdrawing eth via BSC and I can say, Binance is just right to get in and take advantage of this opportunity while ETH has still gas issues. Once these users get acquainted more with BSC network, I believe, most of them will stay, as long as the fees are economical. This will be a good introduction to so many users here that were used to ETH. Fast and cheap, those are their selling points right now of BSC network. And aside from that, Binance is a reputable platform, so it is not hard to trust them with our crypto transactions.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Penguin Party Fish 🐟 [UNI] [Open Source] STAKING! on: April 11, 2021, 10:05:32 PM
The current price of about $27 is not bad. With UNI as only exchange to trade this token, I guess not many small traders are joining on this project. Are there really users who are staking this token. And also, when you give news updates. Can you put it in bullets or something in brief statements? That's a lot of texts and not many users wanted to read all those wall of texts. You can give the necessary links if the user wanted to read more.
973  Economy / Economics / Re: donating 50% of the vaccines purchased to the government. on: April 11, 2021, 09:23:45 PM
There's always something wrong in the system, if the government allocates and uses the funds they have properly there won't be any need to suck private companies' money requiring them to donate half of the vaccines they purchase to the government. The main root of this is corruption, some politicians are using this pandemic to their advantage. We are facing the same problem here in our country where Pfizer was not able to get approval because they were not able to contact the one in charge of the vaccine. The government wants the vaccine from China which has little efficacy compared to Pfizer. The obvious reason is they have a cut from it for every vaccine they buy in China.

Has anyone read the recent news, Chinese top control disease official admits the low efficiency of their vaccine. Now, this is really a screw up. How can you trust their vaccine if their top official admitted himself about its low performance? And what will happen if there will be bad side effects instead of protecting the person from the virus? The governments really need to think about which vaccine will be good for its people. Not because of some political agenda. I hope we all surpass this human trial very soon.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Exchange for a first Listing on: April 11, 2021, 07:46:43 AM
Hi!

We are looking for a exchange to list our token for the first Time , Already we are on the Pancakeswap. So we are looking for a good exchange for list the Token .. Our Budget is around 40,000 $ ...

That means your are using BSC Right? Maybe you can continue your development and use that money to partnering with others platform or doing others marketing things so your token will get chance to get listed Binance without any fee (Maybe), But beside that maybe you can try some CEX like Bithumb, Hotbit, Kucoin. Good exchange good for start with good volume & community,

If it is a BSC token, why not follow the steps in the listing instructions in the Binance Dex

https://docs.binance.org/list_instruction.html

There are benefits that you can derive getting listed in Binance, better liquidity, good exposure, and good reputation. Because that budget can be used for other important development stuffs already. Spending a lot for listing is not very practical in my opinion.
975  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: April 10, 2021, 11:41:05 PM
Covid has been so tough for all of us for more than a year now and vaccines' effectivity has been in doubt because there were some claims of death after the shot from the vaccines.
Now, If you want to avoid being vaccinated just don't work in any government or private company offices , because they will soon implement a mandatory vaccinations for the employees. Work from home instead, not all of us knew how to trade. So, focusing in crypto might not be ideal for everyone.
As for the effectiveness of vaccines, I would like to say the following: no vaccine guarantees one hundred percent effectiveness, and no vaccine guarantees immortality and getting rid of other diseases that a person has. The main objective of vaccines is to reduce the incidence of coronavirus and, as a result, to reduce the number of complications and mortality among the population. Therefore, we should not pin unrealistic hopes on vaccination, but we should not underestimate the importance of vaccination for curbing the pandemic and returning to normal life.

Well-said. Vaccine should not be treated as the ultimate savior or the only answer to this pandemic we are experiencing. Also, the after effect varies from one person to another and most of them are not covered by this vaccine research and trial programs as they have limited time and resources. So in my opinion, they can't answer all the questions that will arise upon implementation of the vaccine program. This is just to contain the virus and at least limit the infection.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Destroying Bitcoin on: April 10, 2021, 09:12:02 PM
Not sure if these companies or corporations buying bitcoin will want to dump their bitcoin later, although they would be tempted to take profits cause their investment would have probably doubled or tripled, but it's very unlikely that they would actually do that, honestly I think the main reason they are buying bitc is because it is a limited currency and the price tends to go up rather than leave the money in  fait that the purchasing power keeps discreasing,so there's no need to be afraid.

And also, I don't think they will just dump it for no reason. They will only dump it when they already lose their faith to bitcoin. They may sell some from time to time, but I don't think they will dump it all at once. And even if one company is selling, I don't think others will follow thru. They have their reasons why they invested in bitcoin. Don't think that their main goal is to destroy bitcoin here. I believe, they are mainly looking for huge profits in the future.
977  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex cannot change the email address assigned to an account on: April 09, 2021, 11:57:44 PM
Since Poloniex was one of the earliest exchanges, I expect nothing more than that percentage lol.

Poloniex was found in 2014, and Coinbase was found even earlier in 2012. While Coinbase sure has their fair share of bad feedback, the levels of bad feedback that I've been seeing about Poloniex is just in a different level lol. And since the acquisition from Justin Sun, I think it's just downhill from there.
That's why Poloniex loses the trust of the public, from having no KYC into a KYC exchange platform, from that moment I switched right away.
Some exchange have their own ways to recover your account despite of losing your email, but unfortunately its not available on Poloniex and there's no more way to recover your account aside from remembering your email address and its password.

Wow, long time I have heard about Polo exchange. Used that before when it was still with the old management. When they changed hands, I transferred all my coins and since then, haven't used this exchange. Since it is not the same management, I guess they have different terms and conditions now. And if the OP can't get access on his old account, there's no way of knowing if they are saying the truth that he has no balance anymore. Just another lesson that you really don't have to store your coins in an exchange, no matter how much you have on their platform.
978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bloomberg predicting BTC reaching $400K in 2021 on: April 09, 2021, 11:07:25 PM
The media only focus on their reputation, they will give bad statements when bitcoin (in this case) is banned by almost all countries, but when many countries are still fair towards bitcoin and many companies choosing bitcoin as their investment place then what they will do is give a positive statement against bitcoin. This is because there will be a lot of people will read about bitcoin information in their media.

As for bitcoin prediction, yeah indeed there is a chance for bitcoin up to $400.000 even more than that. We have strong fundamental here, yeah instutional investor still give a good interest into bitcoin. As we have mentioned many time when mass adoption came then we will see a huge increase for bitcoin, and it has happened now.

That's how media manipulate the perception of its readers. And for those that are not really educated with crypto, they are really giving false hopes to newcomers. That's when a newbie will have a disappointment. Once they get in, they thought, it is an easy peasy market. And if they lost, they will blame bitcoin for their losses, which is really not right. For the readers, they should be smart about what they are reading, as not what they read is all true.
979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not hide your hard feelings about trading; share the experiences on: April 09, 2021, 10:07:23 PM
Most newbies in the crypto currency space who are just learning trading are most times only fed with the profit side of crypto; once such newbie experience loss on trades; they get disappointed. The best thing while teaching newbies about trading is to educate them about the profits and loss side; so that when they are in profit they are grateful; when they are in loss; they know they will make the funds back.

What suggestions do you have ? how do you guide your newbie traders under your tutorship? do explain below lets learn.
What you said about the newbies is not surprising because i have came across a thread created by Charles-Tim which stated that " 80% of traders quit trading" but I think it the impression of newbies before they join crypto trading that make them giveup so easily.

They thought it is easy to get rich in crypto but it is not. There's more than meets the eyes here. So those newbies that have the notion that crypto trading is a get-rich-quick-scheme, they are finding it fast that it is not. And if you are a beginner, and you want to get a grasp on how crypto trading works. Start small so if in case you lost, it is not heavy on your pocket. In time, you will learn how to check for potential profitable coins. It is not an overnight career.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2021, 09:15:36 PM
Maybe ordinary people were afraid of Bitcoin some years ago, but now there are more and more people are interested in Bitcoin.
It's no doubt that the number of people that like bitcoin has increased. They're willing to invest in bitcoin because of very few reasons, they saw its price surge and had another ATH and that's why they've become interested in it.
But if there's no incident that made bitcoin goes to another all time high, I don't think that the number of newly interested people will increase.

But up until now, a lot of people you will encounter don't know how to transact with crypto. So I believe, the reason why they are afraid or hesitant to touch crypto, is because they have no idea where to start with. But if you educate them and guide them step by step, more than likely, they will appreciate to transact with crypto. Sometimes ignorance is the reason why people are afraid of something. But once they uncovered the true nature of the subject, the uneasiness will disappear.
