981  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where the mixers will promote their projects? on: December 07, 2023, 06:46:53 PM
Other forums such as altcoinstalks are starting to get crowded, some of the old forum members have started to teleport to other forums (altcoinstalk) see the picture below is no longer familiar some names have registered there, so it is likely that mixer advertising will be there.

Wow this is really interesting, they might can't compete this forum, but having signature campaign obviously will increase the traffic especially if there are more projects are joining to run a signature campaign.

Yeah most of the usernames are really familiar, but I'm not yet see the "big guys" in that forum or they might never ever want to join on there.
Don't know if it will be a competitor to bitcointalk, but imo that will never happen as bitcointalk will remain the main forum for bitcoin discussions etc.

It was also said by the admin of Altcoinstalks that the forum is not a replacement but an escape for the repressive community, maybe you can see the new policy here: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=312821.msg1452562#msg1452562

It is possible that the forum's big contributors will but here and never teleport, but now we know enough that some users have started to enter the Altcoinstalks forum.

admin of that forum is very accomodating. anyone who wants to teleport, the admin can do it in less than an hour. if mixers are not welcome here anymore altcoinstalk will take them. although they may not haave a huge number of visitors a month, it will eventually increase when more users are going there.

kind of an active forum when there are tons of logged in users.  once this forum becomes popular too, they will screen advertisers as well.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: December 07, 2023, 06:22:15 PM

every bull run however every shiller becomes an expert so there is no surprise to this. where one or two in every altcoin channel you'll see them shout XRP will be more than $10 soon.  many will believe them because the majority of the altcoins are also rocketing.

what i think they should be cautious however is when they should be selling because some of these new investors will fall in love with the altcoins they hold and they may hold it even in the bear market.
983  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 07, 2023, 03:13:50 PM

fortunejack.com has been around for years, i don't think a large amount will turn them into scams, they must have more BTC than any regular person since they have operated their casino for more than 2 halving. but they will certainly ask for your KYC. i think rollbit as well.

once a casino has built a reputation for years without scamming, i think they'd want to keep their reputation for good. no one wants to waste the years of hard work.
984  Economy / Economics / Re: Cracking the Code of Saving Money... on: December 06, 2023, 08:06:21 PM
Give yourself a percentage or an exact amount on how much you will save per salary you receive. Actually, it's not the amount that counts but it is the strictness of control that you are implementing to yourself. Regardless of how big or small it will be as long as you're setting side every time you receive money, that's what seems to be the important thing.

You can do that every time you earn money from your business, from your salary or anything that you receive as a gift. That's what you need to do and don't think of where you'll spend them quickly because thinking those are very easy to do so and what you have to do is to mind yourself in saving first and then investing next.
Saving without a plan is like sailing without a rudder. To what purpose are you storing cash? Money should be dynamic and work for us economically. While saving is important, I think balance is better. What if we invested 20% of our salary? Our money grows and adapts to the economy this way. We're wired for instant gratification, making "saving first, spending later" difficult. Would it change things if we saw saving as self-care? Consider your savings account as a vacation, startup fund, or emergency fund. Doesn't that inspire? Saving should be seen as a strategy for future success and stability, not just a savings account. A modest mindset shift could lead to a healthier financial existence.
There's should be a balance on which we know that savings does play a crucial role specially on emergency times or the moment we do need up some money. These things or amounts isnt really just that intended for disasters but also could really be used on having some investment on which it would really be possibly be able to add up more income source in case it would be succeeding. It would really be just that depending on a certain individual on how they would really be handling up themselves when it comes to this matter because it isnt really just that hard to save up if you are really that dedicated on saving into or having those kind of plans.
There's no need on cracking code or whatsoever because it does really only need up that kind of common sense and realistic approach on things which needs to be done.

Dont make yourself do able on coming into a point that you dont have any savings and then problem comes, then this is the time that you would really be seeing
this to be that savings are really that important. Dont wait up for such moment to come! So better save than on having those kind of regret.

having some usdt set aside for unexpected things that come up will be great especially if you have a family to take care of. when you don't have this, you'd be scrambling to ask your parents which is embarrassing.

i once read from a book that says, it doesn't matter how much your salary is, it's what you have saved. this is true because people who earn huge salary per month also spends too much. they forget to set aside for emergency.
985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can somebody recommend me a good profitable ALERT app for crypto on: December 06, 2023, 07:01:22 PM

check the wallet you use, it may have just something like alert for uptrend and downtrend. trustwallet does have this notice system. but everyone i think has tradingview where you can create an alert for yourself when it crosses a certain price.

good to have it on your phone and from there you can easily access the exchange where you trade. our phone goes wherever we go now, even in the toilet.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me choose the best possible ALTCOINS for 2024/2025 on: December 06, 2023, 06:38:07 PM

you limit yourself to those 3 categories from AI to DEFI when there should have been more which L1 is the most valuable token you could have since it holds the ecosystem together.

if you are open to the new ones besides the polygon they recommend, try Toncoin (TON) which is already among the top 20, this i think will be widely adopted because of its userbase which a lot of people are using telegram already.
987  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🎄Xmas Sleigh Race for $800 000 | 🎁Collect gifts all the way! on: December 06, 2023, 06:18:45 PM
somehow for a price to remain stable, it's a good sign, no more dumping then.
don't you guys think you have some obligation to promote Betfury and its token after all you are investing in its token?

they didn't stop promoting the casino though so it should be a relief for its investors that they are not giving up. but maybe the casino needs marketing and initiative from its investors, it will renew their dedication to develop the casino further.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 06, 2023, 03:39:43 PM
Yes, some casino provided zero-confirmation for the balance.

However, you only can spend-it (Betting) but before the transaction is getting minimum confirmation you will cannot withdraw. I have some experience on (Roobet) with zero-confirmation, the balance credited before getting confrmation.

One another things, bitcoin fee is not really big at all. In around 1-2$ + If you using (Segwit) you can get more cheaper.

$1-2 is below average fee, i think it would take days if not weeks for it to be confirmed. the insane fee probably contributes to people holding their BTC for long term which is good too. i also use segwit and to secure confirmation would be at least $6 at least in this mycelium that i'm using.

that's nice of the roobet to credit unconfirmed tx.
i wonder if they have some issue with double spending and the user who did it won big.
989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many scams have you caught? on: December 05, 2023, 09:03:16 PM

I have come cross so many scam projects especially from bounty section wherein the white papers will be plagiarised and they will morphed their image with Linkedin profile of somebody else, They will claim to hit the cap cap without an valid private or pre sale and I was part of an bounty named COOP/GMD more than an year ago suddenly i along with few were tagged stating we won $500 each and when I initiated the process to get the prize they took us to different page where we were asked to synch our trust wallet and also were asked to retire it through a different site which asked us to deposit minimum amount tin orde to withdraw and luckily I am aware what happens pls that as it's a made up site to keep extracting money in form of minimal deposit before withdrawal and later realised it was a fake group some scammer has checked the bounty sheet and added all the participants from their to this fake group.

thats where the scams usually happen since there never was a way to verify and scammers are becoming very smart too when it comes to hiding their identity as part of the team. i have encountered countless times back in 2017. although my investments are just few, i was still scammed.

the newest scams that i have encountered so at this 2023 are the scams in telegram regarding buying telegram usernames. some tricky users are doing this and even the social media account services are accepting BTC. it's funny sometimes they think they know very well crypto when you ask them their USDT bep20 address they give you their bech32 BTC address.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling FOMO like I am? on: December 05, 2023, 08:42:55 PM
i saw a post it's going to hit $50k before a slight correction and then bounce again. so ye there certainly is a fomo going on. though i bought altcoins when the price was $38k, the price of the altcoin is also up so i don't regret it. but i wish i had DCA since.

those who kept saying $12k must have been scrambling to buy. its happening so fast i was just buying bread outside and came back the price is already $43k. too fast to make nonbitcoin holders buy at lower price
991  Economy / Economics / Re: World is full of things what nobody dont need just too much on: December 05, 2023, 07:57:45 PM
who's going to produce billions of Lambo?
i couldn't see Toyota producing a massive quantity of Hilux Trucks to flood the market, it's not in their best interest.
if you bought them just because you have money to buy them then obviously you can afford those luxury items but you don't need them. when it's branded, however, it becomes an investment. give it years and the price of those items is probably higher than today.

my suggestion is that if you are not interested in your stuff, sell it on eBay.
992  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is forum reputation enough to influence mixers? on: December 05, 2023, 07:36:56 PM
Since mixers will be soon be rejected on the forum due to the heat they are bringing from the government, do you think that the reputation of the forum and the rejection of these mixers from the forum will be enough to force them to change the way they mix their coins?

its the users that might change their ways. if we are not exposed to mixers, we may just be moving our coins to privacy tokens like XMR or Zcash. the forum will still be bitcointalk nothing will change but only the coins they will use.

it's been proven that the government couldn't break XMR. they hired someone if i remember but XMR continues its reign. but maybe the mixers will also advertise somewhere there are plenty of crypto forums this time. some are project-specific.
993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If there is a war between the US and Europe, Bitcoin will hit $1 billion on: December 05, 2023, 05:54:00 PM
EU doesn't have the appetite for war. but it's not gonna send BTC to $1B if they are at war. but i may also think the price will rocket up tremendously as everyone will be trying to save up their wealth for safety while the governments turn dystopian forcing citizens to join the war.

but would you want to have a war because you want the BTC price to go $1B? it sounds very selfish.
994  Economy / Economics / Re: Do brands that take sides on divisive issues lose market share? on: December 05, 2023, 04:37:57 PM
I researched this topic based on what happened with the Bud Light brand, which was boycotted due to their campaign on a socially divisive issue. They lost market share, and their top executives were forced to address the issue. A similar situation occurred with Gillette in one of their campaigns that the public viewed as sexist, resulting in a loss of market share. However, would this have happened with smaller brands? Read what this article found out.
I would like you to know that the world is highly sentimental and biased, they will always align with what they believe, and if the belief of the social majority is against what you preach, then you might be in trouble. This applies to both big and small establishments. If anyone has a different opinion to what is peaceful, just and of the popular opinion and the person is a strong man in an establishment, the best thing is to be neutral, don't say anything. This is what is saving many politicians, especially when it comes to different factions within the same political party. You do not spit ugliness too much, or else, it might backfire on you, particularly in earning businesses/services that its success has to do with the masses.

You can see what happened to Ye when he made anti-Semitic remarks. And recently in the Israel-Hamas escalation, Elon Musk as usual, initially was trying to side with Palestinians, but this didn't go down with many advertisers on his platform (X), they started pulling out one after the other. This made him switch his words and start supporting Israel, to the point that he even visited Israel in November to declare his support.

Due to this, establishments should be very guarded in their utterance, they might be right or wrong, but they should know that if they vex their potential customers and partners, they could ruin the business. And of course, it's even easier to ruin small businesses, while some has been burnt down by extremist in the past. Caution is always needed unless your view aligns with that of the majority.

not all are aligned with what they believe. i think the majority are just forced to follow what was instructed from above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReBc_kGV6IQ
take for example Dana White's friend was instructed by a CEO to take down his post about Kenedy. this company-sponsored UFC gym and the CEO doesn't like what Dana posted.

if Danas friend is just as weasle as Budlight or Disney, he would have said Yes taking it down immediately. but they stand their ground.
995  Other / Off-topic / Re: All my social media friends don't want to reply me lately, dafuq is going on rn? on: December 05, 2023, 04:28:19 PM
If people don’t have time to reply to you then they are not worth bothering with. People who love & care for you will always find time to respond to your messages. If you feel like you’re getting ghosted then it might be time to assess your friendship circle & make some changes if required.
heh, I think you are trying to say, when the tough time arrived, you would know who is the friend within the group of beehive, when good time everybody trying hard to get near and befriend you. It reveal the ugly of human nature! They come to you for problems, they run away when your are troubled. Now they don't even give a damn to waste time on replying you despite all it cost them is just a few second of keyboard input.

i think it's what they call user-friendly.
they can only be there when they need you and use you when you have something to share with but in the times when are down, they avoid you.
happen all the time to people who are unsuspecting of someone's intention. in the trying times, the closest friends of yours who come to help are the true ones and without condition.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: December 04, 2023, 08:34:11 PM
Dana White was also amazed by the performance of UFC Fight Night and giving away a large bonus. $500k. Wow!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NVTK-5lXrY
In the video, he ain't happy about how late the referee from the stoppage of Bobby Green versus Jalin Turner. Well, it's just absurd to see that happening. Sometimes, they are too early but this is the first time I saw a decision as late as that.

Anyway, Dana was also asked about the planned superfight. It's obvious on his face that he will do everything to make it happen but has not told yet who will be on the card. But his smile definitely says a lot. Watch it.

Also talked about PFL buying Bellator. He ain't even worried about it. "Good for them, I wish them all the luck in the world." "One shitty organization buys another shitty organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches." "It's a win for me." Hilarious.

That is just 8 bonuses to all finishes for sure Dana White and the UFC are Happy with the results and for sure they now have great plans for Arman Tsarukyan in the future for that is one great event,

Well, Dana White admits the late stoppage and he agrees with it the referee surely felt sorry about what happened and Dana White is tired of excuses for sure, and Dana White also said to ask the referee involve in what his thoughts on the late stoppage,

For sure the Plan Superfight will be announced in the future if the UFC is ready to reveal it, for sure The smirk on his face says it all and that will be a great event for sure,

Turner punishes Green ffor attempting to cheat on him. but i think it's still wrong for Turner not to stop hammering Green when he knew he was already out.  Dana must haave some goals for bonuses, will this happen regularly or just this fight night?

and who could the superfight be?  Islaam vs Edwards? Jones vs Aspinal?  can't be Conor, he's facing charges in Ireland for his tweets.

997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: A noobie question about secret words on: December 04, 2023, 07:52:06 PM

seed phrase is what is important as you can import to some other wallets if in case you want your wallet to also be accessible in another device with other wallets. seed is what you use to import it to another computer, let's say you also installed electrum on another computer. you can even have a different password on another device but the seed will always be the same. keep it safe so that no one sees it.
998  Economy / Economics / Re: strange indicators to know economy is bad on: December 04, 2023, 07:26:03 PM
Hyperinflation, is a most noticeable sign that the economy is in the worst situation, the reason, well the one that I can blame is a corrupt government, wars (any kind), because all the government and rich people wants power, in a bad way.

That's why this world where we live in will never have the peace and success that all of us will attain, because we have different goals, and most of the powerful people in the world just wanted to show how powerful they are that they can destroy a country just because they wanted its resources or anything that will benefit them.

hyperinflation sounds like Zimbabwe already. right now we are still not in that condition yet. but high prices make regular people poorer. in my country the price of onions shoots up to 300% increase these are the kind of stuff that is needed daily.

another indicator is the rise of crimes like hijacking FedEx delivery trucks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vt6T-xMVAk
when you expect something to be delivered today and the delivery is delayed for hours, something must have happened.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 04, 2023, 07:08:47 PM
All of those are possibiities.

But I don't think that they're going to take it seriously when majority of them are registered and have a trademark unlike the mixers that have unknown developers or owners behind.

Maybe they'll take it as a precaution to do their jobs better and monitor more players accurately. Other than that, I don't see something serious that shall go with the casinos.

Aside from what you said, Forum restricting mixers is a not directly gonna impact casino in legal ways. This is just a forum safety precaution agains possible legal charges in the future by hosting illegal mixers while casino is legally compliant so there’s no way for regulators to crack them down without any evidence that they are knowingly allowing money laundering.

I believe only forum users is making it a big deal due to the signature campaign but it’s really not gonna affect casino operations because mixers is different to casino if we remove forum out of the picture.
Yes, I think they all understand.

But they're worried that crypto casinos might go next with the taking down of the regulators and the forum admin has to retaliate with that actions taken by them.

Anyway, there's nothing to be worried about it as casinos are typically normal business and establishments already globally. They'll just be taken down if they are unregistered.
Okay lets try to assess things on here;

Are there any casinos that had been shut down by the government just because of some privacy issues here on this market or into this forum itself?
I didnt remember any platforms who had been able to experience such thing but rather those platforms or companies had closed their doors usually in speaking or pertaining
about on not being profitable and not into some legal issues. They had been existing for a while but i dont see any situations that do connects out with legality
or some culprits in between the government.

So i dont really see any connections in regarding with the recent mixers situations into these gambling platforms or businesses. They do function out differently
on which it is really just that a common approach.

probably too worried the campaigns are going to also stop. but sure it's going to be worrisome, people have been around in this forum for years, and suddenly things like this mess up the routine.

where else can they advertise but to the biggest crypto community. this is the trade-off for the crypto adoption though. its been widely adopted you might not notice it but the online payment method has changed a lot and even the services provided by freelancers have options to pay BTC and USDT. that is kind of a success.

1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which good altcoins can I hold along with Bitcoin for the upcoming halving? on: December 04, 2023, 06:55:55 PM

although halving has nothing to do with altcoins, their prices are also going up when BTC is going to the moon. it's good not to miss the altcoins season. the more you got the more you profit especially its sweeter if you go them from bounty campaigns.

you make sure you get thousands to millions of the altcoin you chose otherwise you may just profit less. say you have 50K TRON, at least with this quantity you make huge with just a slight increment of its value.
