Is this coin still alive?
I just heard about this coin  Smiley
Yes indeed it is, jump on board. This is 100 year coin as Motty said, but I see it as a sleeper coin that will one day soon find its place in the world.
For me it has been a great coin for casual mining, and has so many great features that I feel its just a matter of time before Fuji takes off, not if but when  Wink

THX for posting, welcome to the thread  Cheesy

NOMP is fine today. Cheesy
I have set fee of NOMP to 1%.
This will be used if the commission has occurred in the remittance.

I think the following as the cause of the trouble in the past.
・Server's memory was insufficient.
・The postage was not considered .
・Setting of difficulty of the pool was inappropriate.

Motty,
New NOMP server is awesome! Nice hashing going on today too Smiley

No problem with 1% fee whatsoever, if you need to ask for 2% to cover cost of server and maintenance feel free to ask, you will have my support. Just keep a good NOMP pool up. I hope to eventually somehow get what I need to try a p2pool. Still researching and reading up on it.

Also, the autumn pictures are beautiful! I love the fall and seeing the leaves turn here as well. Will save all pictures. Plans to post all of your pics on coindrone as well with downloads links. what a hike it must have been.  Cool

And if anyone is wondering FujiCoin is alive and growing.  Wink

Thx Motty!!!

Mood of NOMP is very bad. Angry
So, it will be stopped for the time being.

I am unable to connect to the pools you listed as an alterative? anyone else having trouble?

URL (difficulty 32): stratum+tcp://pool2.xau.jp:3107
URL (difficulty 4): stratum+tcp://pool2.xau.jp:3207

Shoot! I'm not home, and won't be for quite awhile, so can't test.

How's your P2P coming, Minerman??
Hey! where you been hiding? lol ya the p2pools are working fine etc.,,, just need to market the pools now and hopefully one day get some miners on them lol. I have 4 pools.... I added Darkcoin now. all run smoothly. Ok, we got a FujiCoin pool crises almost. Not sure why I cant get on the back up pools from Motty. Nomp is down atm. ok, well check in until your back or able to test some things. Glad to hear from you!

The condition of the server so bad  Huh, I will stop FujiCoin NOMP pool for a while.

Please use the following Pool instead. Wink

Configuration:
Username: your FujiCoin wallet address
Password: anything
URL (difficulty 32): stratum+tcp://pool2.xau.jp:3107
URL (difficulty 4): stratum+tcp://pool2.xau.jp:3207

I've improved the server.
It is stable for now.

NOOOOO!!!!!! not yet keep NOMP UP!!!!!

You must hold off on taking down NOMP. I sent you a PM

Sorry. Sad
I did the adjustment again.
I will see how for a while.

Hey the NOMP seems real good right now. I was mining earlier but had a hard time pulling up website.

THX Motty,
try to keep it up a little longer lol I will try the other pools too. I am having trouble trying to get a Fuji p2pool going without a py_module. (python) Do you know how that works or is that something you could create and I could include into the p2pool scrypt-n-master folder? ok, just thought I would ask.

THX again!

FYI,

I have re priced all my Fuji listed on Fobcoin to reflect new price structure at 0.00000250  Wink

Do I hear 0.00000240  now? lol

Ok, let all at least shoot for 200 or higher going forward. We can set the price floor if we all stick together.
2128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FujiCoin-2.0 : Fujisan coin/Fuji-Yama coin/Mt. Fuji coin on: September 22, 2014, 01:44:47 PM
Hello everyone, PLEASE READ

In regard to the exchanges, and in an effort to better position FujiCoin for future growth and value I am suggesting that all of us especially as miners, reconsider our pricing strategy for Fuji on the 4 exchanges we are currently listed on.

Comkort.com
Fobcoin.com
BTC-Market.org
Askcoin.net

Motty is working hard on getting us listed yet again on another larger exchange at his own expense. (Details forth coming) As time goes on Fuji is proving the test of time. I know many of us have mined and placed various amounts on the exchanges and simply tried to sell for whatever we can get. And sometimes just for fun with no real pricing structure across the board.

Before the next exchange comes on board we all need to immediately look at any coins we may have listed and either remove or RE-PRICE as follows:

MIN ask target: 0.00000200
MAX ask target: 0.00000300 or higher
AVG ask 0.00000250

We feel the target sell/ask price should be more inline with other coins of this nature in terms of age and overall circulation and mining output. Simply put, we all need to take FujiCoin a little more seriously as a competitive coin as we all know its potential is there, when compared to many other coins selling for much more. We all need to come together on our pricing if we ever hope to see Fuji find its rightful and deserved price floor.

To recap where we are:
- FugiCoin in existence for over 4 months now
- listed on 4 exchanges and a 5th bigger on the way
- dual mining capability (CPU or GPU)
- dedicated NOMP Pool  ( http://pool.fujicoin.org/ )
- anonymous transactions
- new block chain tracking (http://explorer.fujicoin.org/ )
- market cap report
- more exposure overall on the web
- growing community
- active dev

Just a few reminders of why we all need to come together on a minimum ask price and get inline with similar coins, prior to next new exchange.

I today will be looking at all coins I may have listed and will be moving to the new price structure. I hope that everyone will also do the same as we hope to begin to move the ball forward for FujiCoin. Until we do this Fuji will really not benefit any of us as to where we are right now, and we don't need to sell against each other on the exchanges if possible. Remember lets all stay in the new price range.

We hope to have this done before Friday of this week, 9/26/14

Please Help Smiley

any plans for the coin

Yes. Will elaborate more in the near future Smiley

If you have any suggestions please post them in here. We are little by little growing the community and need ideas and are very open for suggestions, as Fuji is a very qualified coin for many uses.

Keep mining and spread the word about FujiCoin.  Cheesy

Lots of moron lost good money (fiat)  Tongue
They will panic soon and sell like allways. Buy (too) high and sell low. Works every time.
This correction (started 2013) is not over yet.

Could take 3-6 months more. Tards with too high buy in prices can either sit it out or sell partly with a risk of short rebounce (and panic rebuying).

are u really Richard Branson

If you we're filthy rich would you be on a bitcoin speculation forum posting crap or would you be banging chicks half your age in space?
Will the real Richard Branson please stand up lol
2134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 19, 2014, 01:37:21 PM
... there was a network scale attack I pointed out to Gavin and the other devs after observing namecoin network getting "hung" for months by miners joining and leaving en-masse due to mining incentives and price fluctuations ...

if a well-resourced 'dishonest miner' attacker could build up a significant of quantity of mining power and ramp up hash-rate by bringing on-line an ever-increasing amount of compute, selling all btc the whole way and simultaneously drive price lower over the same period, squeezing out 'honest' miners ... then in a final act take all their mining power off-line during a final dump of price then it would leave the network hanging at very low block solving rate (long confirms) waiting forever for the next retargetting and a low price and take a toll on confidence ... the fix was to allow for a 'special' retargetting on the downside if it hasn't happened after a time-out, not just the set 2016 blocks.

Wow that seems to be a very possible scenario, but would have to be a very large hash to make that happen. Hard to imagine but the results would be as you said, left hanging" interesting  Undecided
2135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 19, 2014, 01:27:34 PM
wow no new blocks for almost 1h.

I wonder how big the transaction volume will be in the next block.

miners already shutting down or variance?  Shocked
I shut down everything last night. BTC and Alts. Only running enough to keep a little hash on my little p2pool lol
2136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 19, 2014, 12:32:44 PM
Is there any other application for mining software, in case BTC will die  today
Maybe something to show and tell your grand kids about one day lol

really I don't think its dooms day by any means,,, let Alibaba dust settle and things will get back to normal,,, if there is such a thing
2137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 19, 2014, 12:26:14 PM
I really think this has everything to do with price drop. I cant say as I blame them ( IPO investors)

http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/alibabas-us-ipo-may-have-crashed-the-bitcoin-price/

But new BTC opportunity's will result.. maybe  Grin

They don't evaporate, rust or rot. Ergo, a store of value. What is wrong with you guys?

I have a bunch of rocks in my yard. They formed long, long ago. And they will be with us for a long time to come. How much are they worth to you?

You are coming across as a simpleton.... have you heard of scarcity?  Probably you need to edumacate yourself about bitcoin basics before you come in here lecturing about bitcoin's hypothesized lackings as a storage of value.
while you at it google  Portability Divisibility & Fungibility
Gotta love those "bilitys"  Wink
