Anyone know where to get a working paycoin wallet that will get beyond the 277th block? and yes I have uninstalled and deleted the roaming folder. Still hangs at 277. What's bad is I test mined using west hash last night on suchpool, and used a receive address from the wallet I had, only to realize when I wasn't getting my payouts, that it was stuck lol.... luckily it was only a half a paycoin lol But well worth the $3.77 to break the ice" using a rental service for the first time. Go to your Appdata folder and find the Paycoin folder therein (on windows .. linux would be something like .paycoin, not sure about Mac). Delete EVERYTHING including the directory EXCEPT the wallet.dat file. Do not just reinstall, it won't delete the data files. You must have somehow not deleted everything... the getting stuck at 277 means you still have old blockchain info. You do not need to reinstall, just delete everything (except wallet.dat) and restart. hmmm that's what I did I even tried it with a new wallet.dat aside from my ordinal I saved elsewhere. It updates until it hits block 277. Again I deleted the whole apps data folder before fresh reinstall. I am using version .v0.1.2.0 but thanks! anything else installed somewhere else maybe? I have wallet 0.1.2.10 C:\program files\paycoin I didn't see any folder in program files after" uninstalling? still the same problem. I downloaded the win32 from pcoin site, still the same hangs at 277... never had this issue lol { "version" : "v0.1.2.0-ge3c013c", "protocolversion" : 60004, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 277, "moneysupply" : 12013523.94600000, "connections" : 7, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "216.99.113.xxx", "difficulty" : 15818021.41535628, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1418863008, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "errors" : ""

Results of west hash test: (if anyone gives a shit lol) Spent .01190 on rental, 2 TH, top tier bid, ran for right at 1 hour. My net earnings after fees comes out to about 0.01093631 so, basically I lost a .001 btc in this little rental test. So I'm wondering if the same would hold true at 50 TH and so forth. Of course that's assuming pcoin doesn't rise. Final thoughts: Ill probably rent a higher hash limit for a 1 hour period and see if there is a break even of sorts , that locks in and profits after that? Also will test a rental scrypt hash and run on my p2pool node with no fee's conclusion: As with all multipools I have tried in the past, ya just really never make much money, and west hash is of sorts a multipool service. Next ill try renting my old gpu rigs there to west hash for scrypt-N- , see if any money can be made vs. the electric here of .113 kw

Still tinkering with west pools, apparently you can also mine to a p2pool. Just did the Pool verification test and it passed Nice because I run my own p2pools (nodes)... just none set up for pcoin lol this is going to get interesting (hash renting).... not sure if Ill break even on my 2th pcoin test though? Jury is still out.

I finally did it I just rented my first hashes on west hash. pretty cool, so far so good. Just testing. I rented 2 TH for one hour, 3rd tier price. Hashing on suchpool. Will let ya know if I make any pcoin hence btc lol I only need to earn .55 pcoin to break even. w shall see. Just never rented, guess this has motivated me to try if nothing else. I still think gaw is a farse. lol In two days I turned .19 into .58 btc. Sweeeeett EDIT: actually I logged into 3 exchanges of mine and sold off some scrap coins that have been sitting, just never got back to selling , and sold them and got enough to test out lol

I'm pretty sure at this point that there's no $20 buy wall.
The real suspense for me now is if my HP convert into PC and I can use them to buy something. They're essentially credit card rewards points if that's true, and I can totally live with that.
Will I be able to take 4K HashPoints and buy something worth $200 on amazon or overstock? If so, I will be very happy with GAW. To me, that's enough to live up to their promises. Heck, I might just get a $200 starbucks gift card. Or, if I get to 12 PC, $240 worth of pudding.
That would be pretty awesome. $240 dollars worth of pudding. Oooh yeaaah.
I think the best thing to do would be to spend 1/3 on a Starbucks card, 1/3 on Pudding/ and 1/3 on toilet paper, because you are going to need lots of it after "enjoying" the first two. lol ouch!

Price of XPY down to .024 BTC on Coin Swap. So far slightly over 132,000 mined out of 500,000 coins to be mined. What happens on Friday when the 12,000,000 pre-mine become available to "investors" and HP holders? 12,5000,000 XPY at $20 each would require a fiat reserve of $250,000,000 if everyone sells. Josh claims a buy wall at $20 per XPY but if "investors" paid only $4.00 per XPY that would require 250,000,000 XPY sold to create the wall. That is 20X the number of XPY that will exist on Friday. Something is definitely out of whack here. That's some very good math! sounds about right too! ya something out of whack Plus factor in BTC falling price, and it makes for shaky grounds and nervous investors.

Just more reassurance there is only one Bitcoin, the original and most secure open decentralized and free coin there is! Paycoin is just fantasy,,, Josh and company have succeeded and made their money now, mission accomplished. For them it doesn't really matter much if it fails at this point. But thousands stand to be left holding the bag.

Good morning, well it appears the natural drop in price has begun. How far it will drop? who knows. But it follows most other average newly launched shit coins... the thrill is gone now and people will be looking to unload quickly. Seen it over and over again on bittrex with all the other pump and dump new shit/alts. Time will tell but thus far it is following the exact same trends in basically the same amount of time. I look for more unbelievable messages from Josh in an attempt to hype up all the wonderful things yet to come in an effort to maintain or pump up price, but probably won't have that much effect anymore. I think people are wising up. Plus now the race against a falling BTC price puts even more pressure on every coin to either sell... or sit and hold.

Read the comments here. Real customer feedback lol not the made up crap on paybase.com. shahenshaAdam Dachis 2/27/14 7:29pm One of the reviews on Chrome Webstore says that the person who used this had two attempts of fraudulent use of his credit card. Moreover, there is a lot of skepticism over a reddit post. I just used it without any research and now I am really scared. Mark MurphyAdam Dachis 3/01/14 10:32am You just pay through Zinc instead of the retailer and they take care of everything for you—even Prime shipping if you're a member with Amazon. But this isn't exactly true. The benefit of free shipping remains, but anything I tried to purchase was footnoted with: Ordering with Zinc Save will result in 5-8 day shipping on this order. Dealkiller in my book. SaralindaSaralinda 2/27/14 8:36pm For what it's worth, I went ahead and signed up anyway. I made a purchase, it saved me a little more than 3% (85 cents on a $19 purchase). Afterward, it noted that it would arrive in an Amazon box, but would not show up on my Amazon account. I'm not happy that it's not going to show up in my Amazon purchase history (I buy a lot on Amazon, making it easy to keep track of past orders), and I'm wondering if I'll have hassles if I need to return items I buy this way. It also appears not to have taken the item out of my Amazon shopping cart when I purchased it through Zinc. That'll prove to be another pain in the butt. http://lifehacker.com/zinc-skips-the-coupon-clipping-and-automatically-applie-1532877581 That'll prove to be another pain in the butt. She hit the nail on the head.... so now, who needs paycoin and for what again?

This actually isn't that great. The original looks more shopped than the GAW one. Not saying that proves anything -- could just be a resolution difference, and anyway the time stamp on the Zinc post is the most damning bit of evidence for GAW -- but there are more artefacts around the Zinc fonts. Wait let me put my glasses on for a closer look.. welcome to the thread

What get s me is paycoin is just another ALT coin. Nothing special about it. Was Peercoin ?? lol

jimmothy, that pic is just epic. We have to get that on HT somehow even if an account must be sacrificed.
Really it does need to find its way there, but Ill bet anything Josh or someone will explain it away like everything else.... like GAW is in the final phases of purchasing the zinc software rights etc.... just never mind the photo shop work" lol was just for illustration purposes only"
