a while back Zeus got out of retail mining gear and cancelled one of its biggest miner developments, to begin focusing more on Cloud mining and pay services. personally I see more of a more realistic approach in what they are doing as opposed to GAW. Not a lot of smoke and mirrors, seems pretty legit and straight forward. Zpay vs paycoin/paybase?, I tend to have more confidence in Zpay
I'm not involved in GAW at all, thankfully. But as an outsider looking...this whole thing from haslets to primes to Zens to paycoins is a fiasco. All I see is a hype machine preying on people who came too late to bitcoin mine. They have the "get rich quick bug" that we have all dealt with. Maybe a very few early adopters made some coin. But like all schemes, it quickly unravels and the masses pay the price. I could be wrong. But the whole thing just has a bad odor about it.
I couldn't agree more. I have felt that way since the beginning as well. Well said. Had my fun with early BTC mining. Key word "hype"

Are you saying something is wrong with the "Hamburgerz" Homero is delivering? Looks fine to me... Umm ... That looks about normal for those Mc burger flippers who want $15 an hour Picture this....... a dark, abandoned military installation basement, a stagnant water layer on the floor, its cold, its very humid, the air smells like the last fresh air piped in was from 1960, the asbestos coating on the pipes flaking off and falling like snow in the breeze you make when walking by, the once light yellow-green walls are now covered in this black mold called XPY ... not even spiders have made a home in that basement. You start to get an itch in your throat, you gag, you start coughing, you start getting claustrophobic in the darkness, then you start thinking of reasons why there is absolutely no forms of life in that basement, no mice, no spiders ..... you then get the mad urge to get the hell out of that basement. Obviously FUD! Good thing you are already in the cornfield or Josh would send you here. P.S: I guess I was being overly optimistic.... trying to think is this from the outer limits from the 1950s i think i seen it on there like 3 months ago. In any case HOW DARE you call our savior from corrupt fiat system a bad man lol Will Robinson, from Lost in space......

? So they just now realized launch was scheduled for Christmas eve? lol, I am still amazed. The first comment after announcement is GAWSOME" He could have told them delayed until Spring and most would say GAWSOME" .. its so funny
The way it all looks to me, he is going to pull this paycoin shit off,,, or at least in the short term. No drop in price, the following still strong, just no one excepting it yet? That may be the downfall, but in the meantime? Just wish I had mined the piss out of it! lol Oh well
Boy that really sucks for coin swap and all those holding pcoin there. Another interesting chapter in the launch. Still don't understand why Josh would go with a small untested exchange for such a miraculous high tech coin Oh ya BTC alive and kicking
Ok, so what about the pink elephant in the room... what's the exchange rate going to be when I buy something with Paycoin through GoCoin? Because if it's $20 then I'm writing an apology and rushing to spend my 0.34 XPY right away. But somehow I think it's not that simple, is it?
Another question: What happened to the "Bitcoin is so OLD and SLOOOW. Paycoin is modern and FAST" BS? Now the plan is to convert from Paycoin (SLOW-Sorry dudes) and then PAY (hence PAYcoin) to convert it into that oh so old and slow dinosaur, Bitcoin, which can then be spent? Hmm let's see, let me do the math here: New and slow plus old and slow = FAST?? Nope it don't, it = twice as slow. Sorry morons. Such an amazing load of BS. It is truly frightening that there are thousands of people who still believe this guy. Suggestion to any moron who still believes that PAYcoin is going to replace Bitcoin: Umm, the plan is to convert PAYcoin into Bitcoin (at a fee) and then use BITCOIN. Wake up! lol, that's funny, but so true got me laughing
Good grief.
That's it.
It was mention ages ago, that coinpayments.net takes any coin and converts it and that is what he will be doing. Weeks ago.
And lo and behold it now happens and is presented as some astonishing accomplishment. Advertized as so.
Like taking application for money handling which requires 3 clicks on a .gov site to submit an application, like some monumental milestone in his pretend companie's history.
Now this dud. This nothing. The anything anyone can do.
See, he started out with:
1. We have partner ships with Walmart Amazon and Target [ crowd goes wild and signs up]
2. Our coin on the market is the biggest and bestest ever in the history of history [crowd goes wild]
3. We are setting the standard with being registered as money handlers [crowd goes wild]
4. Our coin is available now by a multi-coin converter [crowd goes wild]
FUCKING UNADULTERATED BULLSHIT.
All of this any one can do and all have done and are doing.
Someone painted the picture best a few pages back, this is the exact same shit as everyone and everything else painted up pretty.
Good thing all of this is always and cannot not be a funnel.
Shovel the shit and crud and junk in from the top and eventually the fine stream becomes blatantly observable. No not a sieve. A funnel.
Keep a close eye out on the end of it.
Yep that's about the size of it all. You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig" well' to at least some of us anyways lol Great presentation there btw

Got to find a way to get BTC in to the hands of the average Joe on the street, with zero knowledge of how mine or invest in it. Target people with no credit or bank accounts and sell to them for cash and recharge a BTC card of sorts, or (flash drive etc.) at time of transfer. (via coffee shops, malls etc. or from guys like me lol) Then those types can go online and shop, pay bills etc., like anyone that has a real credit/debit card, as now they don't have that option easily in front of them. Hmmm... sounds like you are describing paybase... and the "visa" card. Now you may not agree with GAW or more in particular... Josh... but the vision has merit. And with the correct weight behind it... it could be something. Unlike stocks, the very purpose of BTC is to be used ( to transfer a value) AND be invested in. Currency is meant to be used yes. But thinking of BTC like a commodity like gold to "invest in" is not going to get new blood. Joe Sixpack couldn't care less. They'd like to own gold... sure... but they'd rather spend their paycheck on their bills and necessities. The actual price of BTC is arbitrary somewhat by nature lol, its just depends on demand and a lot of street use, and is always going to be speculation only for investing I feel. There is just no good way to predict BTC, its still to early in growth. Plus, big mining has kind of screwed with price as well, save that for another day And that makes it a poor substitute for fiat in my opinion. I'm not saying paycoin is any better, but the ideas behind it (maybe not the execution) should lead to some new ideas and coins. Whereas stocks pump up the corporation listing them, and investors should get a steady low risk return, as that corporation profits. But ya I am very surprised right now to see it so low, was hoping and half way expecting a tick upwards leading to Christmas... hmmmm k, just my feelings right now about it all, a little bummed out right now about the falling price. lol Stocks have slumps too. Are you in it for the "idea" behind bitcoin or for the quick buck? Both The visa card subject has been in play for some time way before "Josh" makes it out to be. I have ideas how it could become reality too, a card, but I don't sit on the board of directors for coinbase, and alike lol ok, about to rent some scrypt mining hashes from west hash and mine on my own p2pool server overnight
And to anyone who thinks paycoin is going to out perform BTC , your dreaming BTC goes down so does xpy its still an alt coin.
IDK, some say the FBI sale... but I also think that its people selling off for Christmas money lol but ya its definitely concerning as it affects every ALT as well, for the most part. They are dumping hundreds of coins for Christmas. Good explanation People are bored with Bitcoin going down for months. This is the gnarliest downtrend I've seen in any market despite good news on major mainstream companies accepting Bitcoin. It doesn't make much sense to me at all, it negates all knowledge of stock trading indicators. No doubt a lot of mining farms are definitely considering shutting down. I agree. Got to find a way to get BTC in to the hands of the average Joe on the street, with zero knowledge of how mine or invest in it. ya saw that earlier and posted it back about 8 pages .... but yes I said the same thing "sounds familiar" indeed lol Sorry! ...I did NOT see your post...and comments ... Usually I am reading every 10-th page ...and that is enough to keep me informed what is going on... And that is ..."Trend is DOWN"... ZiG It certainly doesn't hurt to point that article out again, cause it describes a lot like paycoin has the potential to be... lol

Never know what coin ya might find laying around on old exchanges lol, I was withdrawing BTC from coin swap and discovered I had some old coin sitting in there. Bad part is neither are even listed on CS anymore FUSE Fusecoin 92.26000000 Withdrawal USB USB Coin 400.17787865 Withdrawal anyone know an exchange that trades these? maybe I can scrounge up a little more hash rental money

I started off in this thread asking if the $20 XPY buyback was real. Answer I got: Is XPY selling for $19? Nope. This is what I figured, but a "reputable" CEO was promising this so I thought I would ask. Second question: IF Josh planned on paying you $20 for your XPY on MOnday, why would he not be buying them for $6 $5 (they dropped while I was typing) today?? Wake up.
It's a gift! lol I actually think their concept of a floor was, "If we sell XPY on our site for $20, why would anyone else want to sell it for cheaper!" Hey, looks like bleutrade is in the game now with even cheaper XPY... https://bleutrade.com/exchange/XPY/BTCYes they have been up with xpy about 3 days now... been a tad cheaper to buy there,,,,, I have other coinage on Bleutrade, great working exchange buy the way

Anyone know where to get a working paycoin wallet that will get beyond the 277th block? and yes I have uninstalled and deleted the roaming folder. Still hangs at 277. What's bad is I test mined using west hash last night on suchpool, and used a receive address from the wallet I had, only to realize when I wasn't getting my payouts, that it was stuck lol.... luckily it was only a half a paycoin lol But well worth the $3.77 to break the ice" using a rental service for the first time. Go to your Appdata folder and find the Paycoin folder therein (on windows .. linux would be something like .paycoin, not sure about Mac). Delete EVERYTHING including the directory EXCEPT the wallet.dat file. Do not just reinstall, it won't delete the data files. You must have somehow not deleted everything... the getting stuck at 277 means you still have old blockchain info. You do not need to reinstall, just delete everything (except wallet.dat) and restart. hmmm that's what I did I even tried it with a new wallet.dat aside from my ordinal I saved elsewhere. It updates until it hits block 277. Again I deleted the whole apps data folder before fresh reinstall. I am using version .v0.1.2.0 but thanks! anything else installed somewhere else maybe? I have wallet 0.1.2.10 C:\program files\paycoin I didn't see any folder in program files after" uninstalling? still the same problem. I downloaded the win32 from pcoin site, still the same hangs at 277... never had this issue lol { "version" : "v0.1.2.0-ge3c013c", "protocolversion" : 60004, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 277, "moneysupply" : 12013523.94600000, "connections" : 7, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "216.99.113.xxx", "difficulty" : 15818021.41535628, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1418863008, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "errors" : "" You keep running the OLD client.
